Off to a great start

Good Read
Interesting story line with lovable characters that sizzle. The story grips from the beginning and has you eagerly awaiting the next chapter. The love story between the two broken souls makes you smile as it develops. Nice one

Linne is banned from her realm as a spy and ends up on earth. Chad crashes his car into her when she appears in front of him. He becomes human Chad to her and he hires her and helps her assimilate to her new surroundings. Even though she isn't in her realm she is still more powerful then anyone or thing on earth but if her body get injured it heals like a human's body does. One day they are working on shifter land and Linne overhears a plot of an attack about to take place. She ends up intervening because human children were being used. However she exposed herself to the shifters and also her mate Derek a lion shifter. Will Linne be safe o earth or will others see her as a threat? Will others come through the Veil after her?
This is unlike any other paranormal I have ever read. It will draw you in from page one and have you screaming for more at the last page. This is a series so it continues in the next one so beware of an ending you might scream at. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend it to any book lover.

Well written fast paced story
This was a fun read, full of great depth, and a huge mystery. Linne was an interesting character and full of power, despite being stuck in our human realm. When her eyes meet Derek's across the field, their connection is overwhelming and strong. Made me sigh... ;) However, things don't flow smoothly for this couple and danger abounds, even from the faery realm. There's a ton of action, violence and steamy romance flowing through these pages as they go on their quest. The story doesn't finish in this book but we get a logical conclusion for this part of their journey.

Linne is a powerful fae who is banished from her realm to the unknown human world where she must make a new life while trying to live under the wire so to speak. But things don't always go the way we want especially for Linne who does try to keep a low profile. But finding her mate and getting involved in dangerous shifter politics while staying on top of her own personal problems will only put her right in the middle of all this turmoil. Very entertaining storyline. I am loving it!

I never read the shifter/fae books, but I decided to take a chance with this one. Man!! I'm glad I did. Linne was so open to love and readily accepted it. And I loved how instant the attraction and chemistry was for Derek. The author clearly weaved a unique tale that'll keep me waiting for the next book.
