Philippa 'Phee' Erickson's parents have been murdered. Morrow, the head of her father's security company, has spirited her out of their house and then her apartment. Now she has been dropped off in the middle of nowhere. Well there's a gatehouse, but nothing else other than trees can be seen.
Alex and Jack are the one's to find her, drenched and upset near one of the ponds on the property. They hadn't been expecting her until the following week.
Once a bit settled in the cabin, she does meet her other two protectors, Axel and Spence. However she still doesn't get that she really is in danger, or the types of danger she could be in.
Phee made mistakes, big ones, life threatening ones. Much to the chagrin of the guys.
In between finding who killed her parents, and now wants her dead, there's a lot of fun and plenty of kindle melting heat. A nice twist is that most of the intimacy is initiated by Phee.
A page turning read with just the right amount of action to go with the intensity of the situation. Just remember to stay hydrated.

intriguing story of hot protection
This was another interesting story about private security.... I am starting to think all private security guys work in 4 man teams until they retire to live in secluded mountain locations. This story kinda left me wanting a bit more of the intrigue and seen more about how they all adjusted to the little girl and being together. I still wished the author have us a bit more about the men's viewpoints.

I truly love books by Mika Lane and this is no exception. I like how this is different. This time the lady is in trouble instead of the guys. I love how they all want to keep her safe. There are issues that are bound to rise but they are worked out and that's what makes it work here. Keep up the good writing. Love them very much.

Phee’s parents were murdered and since she was supposed to be with them, she was sent to Savage Mountain to be guarded by some private contractors. Wanting to get her life back, she struggles with being stuck on a mountain. Will they find the killers? Will she ever get her life back? Will she be okay with how different her life will be?
This is the third book in the series but can be a standalone. I feel like this one has a little better developed story. Still cheesy at times but better than the first two books.

Phee and her four mountain men🥰
I really liked this story even though Phoenix story was very sad. I really liked her character, that even though she was from a sheltered, rich family, she was gracious, grateful, and humble. She wasn't a rich, spoiled brat. Then guys were really sweet too! I just wish there was more to the story. I mean she got her hea, but the ending was short. It just kind of rapped up the ending then stopped. I would still recommend though.

A hot reverse harem story. Not a lot of character development other than some for Phee, but an easy, fun, quick listen with a great job by the narrator. Looking forward to reading and listening to more of this series!

Formulaic, badly written p0rn but whatever -my brain needed a break from the better stuff I've been reading. I'm gonna get my money's worth out of the book set I bought from this author even though it's all trash and nearly the same story over and over.

Bodyguard Reverse Harem Story
I just love reverse harem books, add in the bodyguard protective aspect and I am in heaven! However, this is definitely not one of Mika Lane’s best works. Judging from the number of spelling mistakes and grammatical errors, it is obvious that proofreading was not done before the book was published.
In addition, the story was interesting but not what I have come to think of as a reverse harem story. This was a woman who is dating four men - separately. Yeah, they know about each other and they had a few threesomes, but the majority of interactions are one on one. When I think of reverse harem, I think of all of the men coming together to please the woman, at the same time.
The story also felt unfinished. We never find out who killed her parents and want her dead. Why her? She had no idea what her dad did, other than being in “private security”, and certainly wasn’t in any position to effectively take over his business.
Mika Lane has written much better stories than this one. I just have to hope that future books will be better than this story.

Philippa aka Phee is what you would class as a pampered princess. Until her world comes tumbling down with the murder of her parents and finding out her life is also in danger too. In walks in four men - Spence, Axel, Reggie and Jack all there to protect her but their idea of protection is moving her into their mountain home. A nightmare for someone used to the finer things in life. As you can tell with four hot men you have plenty of hot sex throughout the book and yeah there is definitely plenty of that in this book. So good!! A great book

Phee's life has been turned upside in a matter of minutes. Sent into hiding and a team of protection surround her. 4 beautiful men and 1 gorgeous girl. They think she is an entitled heiress at first. She is a quick learner and proves quite quickly she can survive just fine on their turf. She also brings a peace to each man they didnt know they needed. They quickly find a life together is what they all want and she'd never be safer than with them.
This is a quick, fun, and sexy read. This trope is new to me but quite enjoyable. HEA

Trust issues
