The story line is good and you will want to keep reading. The author does a great job on keeping the story line interesting. The way the plot unfolds and twist and turns is great. However, I’m not sure who was editing the book. The grammatical errors and misspelled words were abundant. I’m still hoping that all of the characters will stop throwing tantrums... at every turn someone is stomping or throwing a fit. I can understand if one character portrayed this trait... but almost everyone does. It’s almost as if It’s 4 year olds trapped in adult bodies.
Spoiler alert after this-
There were many scenes I was confused about, as the book contradicted itself. For example- one page states she and Tristan were kissing and cuddling- but not naked. The very next page directly states they were having sex.
The author has a good storyline going. I’m interested in the characters and eagerly reading to see what happens next in the story. I didn’t notice it so much with the first book in the series, but the second book is completely full of typos and misspellings of common words. Could someone explain to me how a book makes it through the edit process and no one catches that “pique“, “peek” and “peek” are used interchangeably and always incorrectly? Same for “wretch” and “retch”? These errors suck all the joy out of reading a good story. With a better editing job, this series would be one I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend, but as it stands now I won’t be doing that.
