What if all the fairy tales are real? What if you were one of them?
When Madilynn turned seventeen, her parents dropped a big, ancient-looking book in her lap and said to open it by herself. Madilynn almost wishes she hadn't when it reveals she is a descendant of a fairy tale, and her parents tell her it's time for her to attend Lost Time Academy. Being thrown into a world that is literally full of fairy tales, the last thing she expects is to see the four guys she grew up with. Four guys who have grown from boys to now geeky, dark, passionate men who rule the Academy…and they never forgot Madilynn.
Time makes all tales come true, including the dark ones.

G. Bailey is a USA Today bestselling author of books that are filled with everything from dragons to pirates. Plus, fantasy worlds and breath-taking adventures. Oh, and some swoon-worthy men that no girl could forget. G. Bailey is from the very rainy U.K. where she lives with her husband, two children and three cheeky dogs.
I didn’t care for this book at all. In fact, I feel like I wasted time reading it and I wish I could take it back. There wasn’t anything in this series that I enjoyed.
FMC is a 17 year old girl who learns she’s descended from sleeping beauty, gets powers, and is sent to a magical boarding school where she again meets the four boys she’s always loved. Ensue bad stuff and evil guys.
Here’s the thing, books need to be balanced. There needs to be an equal amount of good stuff and bad stuff happening. The balance in this series was heavily skewed and there was almost nothing positive.
I also have to say that reading about 17 year olds having sex leaves me feeling icky…Really really icky. I feel like I have to shower and read the Bible to get clean from all the ick. I don’t like feeling like a gross pervert.
Also, the plot was entirely too transparent. I knew exactly what was going to happen in the series within the first quarter of the first book. I’m not joking. I knew who the bad guy would be. I knew who was destined for betrayal. I figured out practically everything that was going to happen. It was an easy guess, all the clues were given to us. I don’t enjoy a book with no surprises; No intrigue; No mystery; Icky romance. Nothing about this series appealed to me.
Reverse Harem - yes Drugs - yes Alcohol - yes Addiction - yes OW drama - yes Academy - yes Betrayal - yes MM or FF: no Steamy scale: 2/10 Super special snowflake - yes, but not in a good way. This girl is not badass nor does she have awesome powers. Her powers are lame and people who think she’s super special are lame.
Okay I liked the blurb but I was expecting a lot more than I got. Story was too easy. Everything was over quickly. I was expecting a bigger fight at the end than that. It's not as detailed and the whole book series reflected that. Her powers are very basic. Nothing to them. I found her character pretty weak and her roommate was more badass than her and that's kinda sad. The world building itself was good but it overshadowed the story which needed to be fleshed out a lot more. Character interactions too. The sexy times was not detailed at all it was hardly there If you can't say it you shouldn't write it. I've read her before and I liked it but this was kinda mediocre. I'm being honest not mean. Another thing I noticed and as much as this series isn't her best I thought it was okay especially the first 2 books. There was quite a bit happening but the 3rd? That was a rushed and disappointing end. Then you tried to make it up by doing a brief HEA. I think this could have been done better. It's a good idea but it didn't quite get there. It was very predictable from the beginning. Quin? Oh I knew that the first few pages of book 1. The time travel was confusing and wasn't touched on much. So much back and forth you didn't know which past/future you were experiencing. Is this the new future and then your like nope it's this one. Wait ...lol it was just too much and not explaining.
Absolutely love this series! I always have and I always will! My 12th time rereading it. It pulls you in and never ever let's you go. Its powerful, and happy and sad. Makes you laugh out loud and makes you cry. You got sexy men and a powerful heroine. Read it. Love it.
A really good and different take on fairy tales descendants. Good overcomes evil despite many generations of war and hate. The characters are strong and dangerous, but the sweetness of love shines through the story. I got my HEA and the ending novella made it even better.
I loved everything about this book!!!! If you want a stand alone book this is it!!!! I'm so glad everyone found their true love in the end!!! Good beats evil and love conquers all ❤
4.5 stars While following a fairly standard ideal, basing the story around fairy tales gave these stories their own unique style. I definitely liked how the series ended, especially with how they handled the Masters.
Book 1: I loved this! So fun to have this twist on the fairy tales. I love the feisty “Sleepy” and all the boys. It’s always fun to have the spunky best friend involved, as well. I’m pretty sure I have the big twist figured out, but I can’t wait to read the next book. The boys are yummy and I know this will be a great series.
Book 2: This was really good. It did take me a while to get into it. I’m not sure it was the book, I was in a bit of a slump. I would say that about a third of the way in, it really started picking up for me and I finished the rest in one sitting. I have no idea where the story will be going in book three and I love that. I love that Madi may have a new love interest to add, I love all the other relationships that blossomed in this book and I think they will all make for an incredible team in book three. Really good.
Book 3: Good ending for this story. Everything in place and everyone happy. I would like to see what happens with a couple of the characters, so maybe we’ll get that later.
This was a cool twist to sleeping beauty fairytales retelling!! She’s actually VERY powerful!!! She doesn’t sleep.. she puts EVERYONE to sleep 😴 including animals!! Just a little dust and bam she can knock you out cold! loved her! And her Harem if boys will keep you on your toes and drooling 🤤. Loved the bonus story with her bff!! Must read if you love fairytales i guaranteed you will love this RH love story! The complete set is here!! I read this with my kindle unlimited 🥰💙
This download had the whole series in one KU book. No waiting months for the last book - yay!
I love fairy tales in general, so I really liked this world! I loved the men, but wish the author had allowed more time for the relationships to actually develop. More conversations between them and more interactions and MORE in general would have made it all better and less instant.
I mostly just liked the inclusion of fairy tales and how those fairy tales translated into different powers.
A gorgeous retelling of fairy tales, the action doesn't stop! The first Academy series that really grabbed my attention and the beautiful story is just the best! The bonus novella in this set gives a sweet ending for two of our favorite supporting characters. If you want a complete Academy series then read this, you won't regret it
Omg! I don't know if I want to scream, cry, laugh, or what! G. Bailey did it again. I'm speechless. Dark Tales, death, unexpected love, and sacrifice. And of course some sleep. I couldn't put this series down! I read it and finished it in just a couple hours. What a crazy ride with Madi and the guys! Awesome boxset!
I loved this series and wish I had read it before a different book. Seems they will be connected. G. Bailey writes superbly and she has believable characters. Makes you want to read more!
