Damara Costas is the only female Enforcer in her crew, something she’s always taken pride in. Putting herself in jeopardy for missions is something she does regularly, but this time it’s different. This time, she might not make it out alive. There’s only one hope she’s holding onto—the mysterious man who lends her his strength when her own falters.

Jase Benson goes by many names, but right now there’s only one that matters—Damara’s protector. She’s everything he never thought he’d find, but will she ever forgive him for what he’s done in the past? All he can do now is protect her with his life and show her the man he truly is inside—and hope she can overlook the man he used to be.

The world is imploding around them as they race to rescue the last dragon and defeat the evil surrounding them, once and for all. And hell is breaking loose in Damara’s heart, as well. How can she love the man who betrayed her friend? And how can he love a woman who’s nothing more than a ghost?

Grace has been reading romance all her life, only recently getting up the nerve to share and publish her own stories. She loves all genres, but shifters have a special place in her heart, so that's what she writes about. She's lived all over the place, but she calls Indiana home at the moment. She has an adorable little boy, two dogs, and a tattoo addiction that she doesn't want to fight!

Ghost

Ghost is my favorite book of this series. Jase aka Chance is the male lead and he is a sexy and intense. Mara is the leading lady and she is a strong willed, loves deeply and takes no BS. Together they set my kindle on fire.
Ghost starts were Shield left off, but this story is intense from beginning to end. Brennan sets a fast pace, and takes us on an emotional roller coaster between everything these characters are feeling. Suspense, angst, humor, fireworks and love is packaged into the of story Ghost. Happy Reading!!

I typically really like Grace’s books. This had a few substantive problems I feel like a good editor would have caught. Like I noticed a few discrepancies and errors (even though I try really hard to turn off editor brain when reading.)

But I did like the characters and the plot, and it was interesting.

I wouldn’t recommend reading these out of order. You could, but I think you’d be a bit lost.

"Ghost," by Grace Brennan was a great story. You get shifters and a MC group. What more do you want.... unless you want romance well you get that too! Read Blood and Bone Enforcers MC book #5 to see what happens now. I did and WOW!

I totally missed this release and it was my loss. I devoured this thrilling romance in one sitting. Within the Blood and Bones Enforcers MC the tension has been off the charts. They thought they had rescued all of the dragons after the rescues in book 4. But one dragon is still at risk and has to be brought to safety.

Fernandez needs to be stopped by any means necessary. Damara will have to go back in. She can go in disguise, confuse and distract the guards. There is no other way. A simple plan, get in and get out. It was too simple and Damara ends up in danger.

I devoured this book for a couple of reasons. The tension between Damara and the mystery man in her cell is off the charts hot and concerning. Suspicion grows into sexual tension. Within the prison walls the reader discovers so much along side Damara.

I have never been so jealous of characters before. Their inner shifters were the conscience needed to keep them going, to help them understand, to be accepting. and best of all put them in their place when necessary.

The suspense was thick. The enforcers are severely out numbered. Dmitri and Damara cannot shift and help. They have to defeat a gorilla shifter (I would want to pass on that one). When they finally reach Fernandez they will have to dodge the dragon flame. The enforcers are so screwed.

When all is said and done it will be Damara that picks them back up.

Each story in this series just keeps getting better! The wait for Damara and Jase's story was more than worth it and I couldn't have loved this story more! Action-packed from the very beginning and filled with lots of emotion, I couldn't read it fast enough. Both Jase and Damara were complex characters with great depth and many layers that were slowly pulled back to reveal their true depth of character and strength.
After going back undercover to rescue the last remaining dragon, things don't go as planned for Damara as she's ambushed and imprisoned. But she's not alone in her cell. Jase, also known as Chance, Noah's long-lost brother, is in there with her. Neither one knows what to make of the other, but there's no denying the attraction they feel. The only thing they agree on is that they must escape, rescue the last dragon, and take down Fernandez once and for all.
Damara is one of my favorite characters in this series for so many reasons and you get to see them all showcased in this story. And you finally get to find out the whole story of Jase/Chance's past and how it fits seamlessly into the overall storyline of the series. An amazing story that has left me anxiously awaiting the next book so I can find out what's next for the Enforcers and their mates.

Damara, can change her appearance basically at will, which helps her basically get in anywhere. She has already help freeing the female dragons held captive, but when the enforcers realize there is still one dragon left Damara volunteers to enter the dragon's liar again. That goes about as wrong as it can. She finds herself locked up in a cell with a man she least expected. Jase has a history with the criminal gang that trafficked women and he is hiding a few other secrets too. Can he be trusted?
I am so happy for the enforcers and their newest addition. I loved the story and am now itching to fun out what is in store for the enforcers in the next installment. Great read as always, I've come to expect nothing less from Grace Brennan. Her books continually offer great characters, great stories and sassy shifters.

Non-stop action and amazing storyline!

I'm so glad that Damara finally got her story, with a most unexpected twist for a mate. Never in my wildest imaginations did I think we'd have someone from another character's past come forward to claim our amazing warrior princess, Damara! Jase is a mixture of insecurtiy, brains, strength and confidence that made my head hurt at times. So happy to see him reunited with his brother, Noah!! I'm waiting impatiently for the final book in this series - will Blake find his mate in time before Armeggedon?!
