This is a short, punchy story that will have your heart racing as you devour it in a single sitting. Gorevan's grip on characterisation is perfect. Even though this is a short story, the characters are memorable which is a sign of a great writer. With this story, Gorevan has demonstrated that he can not only write amazing novels and novellas, but short stories too.

Short and punchy

Alan Gorevan has a canny knack...plot, character, action, twist delivered within four short chapters.

In a few well described scenes he conjures vivid imagery, and leaves you thinking 'Ah, didn't think that would happen.'

Sometimes you can say a lot with a little and in Dead End, Gorevan does just that.
