Great as always. This volume got a bit darker, as we got to see Yukine's background story, plus there were some storylines about the rest of the characters. So, this one was more wholesome when it came to point of views, but still, it focuses on Father (can he become more annoying??) and Yukine (who testes everyone's patience really). Can't wait to see what happens next!

This is the darkest Noragami has ever been, as Yukine slowly unfolds the events of his past. At times I was physically sick in my stomach, because some pages just ended me. The emotion shines so much through the storytelling, I felt my heart being ripped out. Yukine truly breaks me, and I just want him to realise that Yato (and Hiyori) ARE his family. Seeing him all alone with the Sorcerer just manipulating him and using his emotions was too much.

The more I progress, the more I’m terrified to read another volume, and the more I physically can't stop reading.

Wow this volume made me so sad.

I'm so wishy washy with stray, but I think I'm okay with her now. I mean sure she's hurt people and she's a brat, but she's a child who just wants to be loved. I feel for her and I'm hoping this little alliance she has with Hiyori is a step into her redemption arc.

Then the thing that made me the most sad... Yukine. Holy fuck. Yato's dad is a dumpster of a human being. How dare he?? Yukine craves a loving and happy family that he didn't get when he was alive and this MONSTER is letting Yuki believe he had that. He's slowly discovering more about his past self that's just going to hurt him. I really hope Yato and Hiyori are able to get to him soon. He needs a hug.

Noragami is phenomenal, always has been, always will be. This volume was gut-wrenching – Yukine’s backstory is finally brought to light. I would recommend being somewhere comfortable when you read it. Guaranteed to break your heart.

There are few happy moments in this release. Though I loved the portions featuring past Ebisu. It’s always a treat to watch the gods interact together, and the meetings in this volume were fun to unpack. As much as I wanted Takemikazuchi to stop his homicidal rhetoric I was pleased to see so much of him.

I cannot wait to read the next volume!

Things are setting themselves up so well for a final battle between Yato and his father The Crafter. He has gone over the line this time. I miss Hyori for now, but she is doing well as Yato is out working toward seeing to the end of his father. He is running out of time from what the heavens gave him in the last volume.

I feel like I'm reading 10 book right now but thankfully I finally finished one!! My first read of 2021 wasn't even a book but it's finneee

This was still amazing and still my favorite manga but ya know it was real good but it wasn't five stars haha i dunno. Manga is hard because it's hard to read it all at once so I constantly forget stuff but hey I'm trying my best that's what matters lol

In my review of the previous volume, I expressed my ideas by saying that I don't understand why people like this new arc regarding Yuki going rogue. I still think it was super cheap to use him in this new arc just to make things complicated. (they needed something to make Father relevant again) At least this volume was a bit better than the last. However, I hope they will soon realize their mistake and don't ruin this beautiful manga. I really like Noragami mainly because it deals with serious issues and it is for adults compared to other mangas that I've read. I am still waiting for new chapters but I guess they took a break because of the pandemic.

It has been so long since I've read Noragami and I've forgetten how much I love this series and how devastating it can be at times. I've missed these characters so much and am struck with how much I hope that they make new seasons of the anime because there are so many moments that I deeply need to see animated.

Yukine broke my heart a lot this volume. It is so hard seeing him spiral and end up being played and manipulated by Yato's dad. Learning more about his backstory was just heartbreaking. From hearing about his father to seeing the fridge. I hate that he started to remember the fear he had when he lived with his dad and I wish so much that he gets away from Yato's dad and finds Yato.

I've been very conflicted with my feelings about the Stray for several volumes now but I do feel quite sad for her. I think it must be so hard for the shinki but especially the ones are forever children to deal with their feelings of jealousy and fear of abandonment. I'm happy that Hiyori treated her kindly and with care, despite everything that has happened. I'm curious when they will reunite with Yukine and Yato.

The fact that Yato knows what happened to Yukine and has tried to protect from finding the truth is so heartbreaking. The fact that he went to the fridge!!! Pain. Also no one ever find out about what happened to Yukine afterwards.... Bro.

Ebisu made me emotional when I realized that his former self left a video message for his new self to find. It just breaks my heart, for both the new and old self.... I love that the other gods are working together to help Yato defeat his dad.

I feel sad about Hiyori's grandmother but I'm grateful she wasn't scared and was peaceful. I wish we got to see Bishamon a bit. I'm curious if she even feels that her connection with Kazuma is different. I have no clue if she will ever forgive Yato or Kazuma for this, if she found out.

I'm stressed to see how things will progress. I don't think we're done learning about Yukine's history and I am very scared. I truly want Yukine and Yato to reunite and for Hiyori and the Stray to find them. I really love this series. I'm very scared to catch up and complete it.

despite all this suffering going around tho, i'm glad there's still moments for levity in the story🤧🥺 like this gorgeous low-quality yato here



it's very interesting that the stray is playing a part in everything now🤔 not unpleasant. i think there's a redemption arc coming yet...



and last but not least, EBISU <3 i love that little guy so much- it was so fun to see him find comfort from his predecessor's video! <33
