I learned the hard way to never trust a woman. They don’t do anything but cause headaches and heartbreak. I know this from firsthand experience. To top it all off, I see a pattern with these bitches lying too. Which is why I swore to never let another woman into my life. While they might be in my bed, they'll never be in my heart.
I refuse to go through it all over again. You know what they say about history repeating itself? Well, yeah, I always get the short end of the stick when it comes to lying, no good women. Call me an ass if you want but I’ll never have to deal with someone like Horse's mom ever again.
I had a great plan and I was doing just fine until a woman I never expect waltzes in my life. From the first moment, I knew something was different and she came crashing through my walls, breaking down the defenses I had set in place for a reason.
I don't know why the fuck I did it, but I claimed her, and now she's my property. She belongs to me.
Question is, can I trust her, or will she lie and deceive me the way every other woman in my life has before her
I cannot. I literally hate books with weak-minded heroines who let a dude walk all over them repeatedly. I know it’s just a book but I don’t like the message it sends. Yes, those two girls set up the whole s** incident and timed it to when the heroine would come in but that doesn’t exclude the fact that her “man” allowed it to happen. He watched them. He got off on it. He enjoyed it. But since they “set” it up so you could walk in on them, it’s all good and dandy and absolutely NOT his fault. Yes. That makes all the sense in the world. Blame the girls because your dude was set up. Of course it wasn’t his fault he didn’t kick them out and enjoyed it instead *sarcasm*🙄 I stopped reading after that part. Who knows...it could have turned around and she could have made him take responsibility for his actions later on but I’m not sticking around to see it. I need a book with a strong willed female who doesn’t take crap like this from anyone.

Mini-review: This may be one of the worst books I've ever read. Stoney was the worst MMC I've read about hands down. He actively cheats on Rachel (say what you want but watching two women screw each other in front of you and enjoying it is a form of cheating), he gets one of his men to spank her butt and her p*ssy when he isn't there (while he's one the phone commanding the dude), he claims her as his property constantly. That's not to mention the writing and grammar are still Wattpad level bad. I thought I could read all of these in one go but I can actually actively feel brain cells dying so I'm going to start spacing them out. Thanks I hated it.
×= First class A-hole hero whom I wouldn't trust to fall in love with. He's sitting there and there are two women getting hanky-panky right next to him. Rachel spots them, and A-hole later acts surprised when he's told that it was staged by the two women. Um, like you were sitting right next to them obviously enjoying. Don't act smart with me dude.
×= Doormat female lead pretending that she doesn't take any sh*t from Stoney, when she actually does.
and not to forget
×= Boring and forgettable MC members without any charcter depth.
Why is this so highly rated? For the smut? Because that was the only good thing going on here. Maybe many readers read through Devil's Riot MC before starting on Originals and have some kind of nostalgia, but just putting it out there that as a standalone it's ridiculous.
dnf dammit, this time it's all on me. I know i shouldn't quit just cuz of H's age but guyssss. HE HAS GRANDKIDS and is tooo tired by his ex to even give someone a chance and he has taken h as property to protect her kids... it just felt like i'm myself 90+. nope sorry. just couldn't feel the thrill.
Stoney's Property by E.C. Land is a story that was fast, hard, dangerous and full of compassion and love. Stoney is this sexy, edgy President of the Devil's Riot MC who has no time for relationships. Stoney has been burned in the past by his ex so he isn't looking to settle down with a woman just love hard and play hard with the club women until Rachel enters his club house seeking help from her cousin Tracker who is VP of the club . One look at Rachel, and Stoney is hit hard wanting to protect her when she arrives beaten and broken with two small babies, now old feelings come to the surface when they were younger as he has always been attracted to her. Can he go against his brother Tracker and be with Rachel? Now Stoney wants answers from her as to who hurt her and finds that he has no choice but to claimed her as his property! Rachel who always had a crush on Stoney becomes angry and confrontational when he claims her. Rachel doesn't want another man to own her or control her as she wants to be able to control her own life, but the more time she is with Stoney she wants him more than ever, especially when they confront past misunderstandings when Rachel left the club. Stoney and Rachel finally give into all of the passion that was denied them long ago, and Stoney will do all he can to make Rachel his ol' lady now that he has come to terms that he is in love with her and her babies. Will this decision bring more trouble to the club when Stoney learns that the father of her babies is from a rival MC and knows that Rachel is with the Devil's Riot MC . When they find out that not only does he want to make Rachel suffer for leaving him, but he wants his children as he is going to sell off his daughter. But the biggest problem for Rachel is coming her way when she is betrayed by her mother as a plan is put into place. Now Stoney and his brothers are racing against time to save all three of them. Will they get to them in time? This is one story that will pull at your heart, as this tough, sexy older man finally finds true love with this younger woman, one that will last forever! Can't wait for the next book in this series and maybe more about Stoney!

This book could've been great, but it was just all over the place. It's like the Author decided to throw everything and the kitchen sink in. Trafficking, rape, women being beaten and kidnapped, etc. Only problem was in certain areas the story wasn't finished. You're just let scratching your head wondering what the he'll happened.
The other thing that annoyed me was when the Author would repeat their self. Such as when in Stony POV he would describe something or say something, then next chapter is from Rachel repeating everything that was just said. It was annoying and seemed like it was done for word count.
4.5 I loved Stoney and Rachel. It was so nice to see Stoney finally get his HEA. We have seen him throughout the series being the Prez and Horse's dad. He has a hard time trusting women from his experience with Horse's mom. Rachel grew up in the MC but left to go away for college. But she's always had a crush on Stoney. So when she needs help to get away from her abusive fiancee she goes back home to the Devil's Riot MC. This was a great book filled with steam, action, and family.
Wasn't sure if I was going to like this one but I really did. This is a n older man/younger woman.
Stoney is the president of the club and Rachel is the cousin of one of the members. She didn't get to hang around the club often because her mom was a stuck up b*tch. She also gave Rachel self esteem problems. Personally I think she was just jealous.
When Rachel went off to college she got involved with the wrong man. When she can escape she runs to ask her cousin to help her but it's the president who steps up.
A bunch of stuff happens which I'm not going to tell you about but I think I can see where some future books might be coming from.
First what kind of softball player gets nipples pierced? You can’t play sports especially one where you have to slide with your nipples pierced. Second what kind of diabetic forgets their most important Equipment? And third who the hell is having random sex with people tell me it’s after giving birth, and not even using protection, especially when the guy she had been with was still sleep with club girls?
I really don’t understand why this book has such a high rating, I’m actually baffled by it. I’ve read many MC books so, I understand they are a lot more vulgar and open than other books. However, this book just pushed boundaries that shouldn’t be pushed. This book had everything in it: Rape, kidnapping, trafficking, abuse. The author just put everything in there and it was too much.
Every bad thing in the world has happened to this main character (Rachel) and she’s somehow perfectly normal, like how?? Also, the random plot twist about 50-60% into the book where she turns out to be diabetic, but it’s never mentioned in the book prior to this and even in Rachel’s POV she doesn’t mention being diabetic. It was so random like it didn’t make sense at all. Rachel is such a doormat, Stoney is an arsehole that clearly has no respect for Rachel and she stays with him and let’s him get away with everything! Also, the age gap is incredibly weird because he has a son that’s older than Rachel and he’s a grandfather, so so weird.
One of the biggest things I HATE in books is when one of the main characters think they can fix big problems on their own and they never can. I absolutely hate those types of characters like why is it so hard to ask for help!? Guess what? Rachel was one of those annoying characters and then got angry with other people because they were worried and angry at her for being stupid.
This was the most toxic relationship I’ve ever read about, the main characters didn’t know how to have a normal conversation. They just constantly screamed at each other and threw insults at each other. It was frustrating to read to be honest because there’s only so much screaming you can take. There was even a scene where they were arguing (no surprise there) and Rachel actually tries to punch Stoney in the face, like wtf. I don’t understand how the author wrote half of the scenes and thought they were acceptable. Stoney is just an absolute arsehole, who has no disrespect for Rachel, but claims to love her. The setup scene with Cherry Pie and Peaches was absolute bullshit. I do not care one bit that it was a set up, Stoney still sat there and watched them and enjoyed watching them! I also don’t care that he didn’t touch them, it’s still cheating in my eyes and is incredibly disrespectful. What makes it more disrespectful is that Stoney knew Rachel was insecure and had problems with those two club whores and still watched them and didn’t care what Rachel would think if she found out. Also, the absolute cheek and disrespect of Stoney saying that he wasn’t going to touch them, he was just enjoying it and then he was going to go have sex with Rachel. Like how in the hell does that make it better? To me that’s honestly more disgusting and disrespectful that he was going to go have sex with the woman he supposedly loved with a boner he got from watching two other woman🤢.
The ending is just stupid, another random plot twist where Stoney may possibly have another child with a different woman, Rachel pukes over her self and cries some more because all this woman does is cry. Then Stoney is proposing to her while shes covered in puke? What, I can’t believe I actually finished this book. Scenes just felt unfinished or rushed that just left me really confused.
This book just left a sour taste in my mouth that this author wrote a book that was so toxic and didn’t see anything wrong with it. It makes me uneasy that some people will read books like this and think relationships like this are normal

They have known each other for longtime. They both have demons that get in the way of their life. They both have trust issues. With people, who want their hearts. They work to over come that issue and learn to both trust and love with out issue. Rachel, has been raised around the club, and has been in love with Stoney since she was a kid. Stoney is 20 years older then Rachel, but remembers her before, and that he shouldn’t touch her,but still cant seem to help himself. They come back together, when Rachel returns to the club for protection for her twins. The fireworks between them are spectacular... Stoney takes care of the problems, all the while by also putting his foot in his mouth, with regards towards Rachel. They work everything out and Rachel is soon happy to be Stoney’s Property, and by owning his heart.
I tried to like this book I really did, I kept reading hoping it would get better. My problem is there is no thought out plot or character development. I don't get the whole instant-love thing. How can you know you love and want to spend the rest of your life with someone you have only just met? And if the writer wants to sell me on it at least give me a reason why, something other than she has a hot body, and he is a panty melting hunk of man who all the girls can't stay away from(eyeroll). I just did not feel anything with Stoney and Rachel.
Another thing that bothered me was with Stoney's age I thought we would get some level of maturity. We didn't. If I was not told his age, I would have thought he was in his twenties. I expected more from the President of the club. I found him immature. I found Rachel even worse, she did stupid stuff throughout the book. She let Stoney push all over her. The scene with the two women was to me just not right, I know the writer was trying to show us that Stoney was committed, but it had the opposite effect for me. He watched them and got off on it. That was so disrespectful to Rachel. A real man who was committed to someone he loved would have sent the women away right of the bat, not watched, very immature. What if he had been drunk, would he have taken them up on their offer? If he got off on watching, I would think so. That's the problem with a scene like that, it put's doubt in the readers mind of the future.
Other problems, over the top plot. No attention to details of the storyline causing the story to jump all over the place. I am going to read the next book, I am curious to see if Tracker will let me down.
I was VERY disappointed in this book. He let another man spank “his” woman? He’s disgusting. I had to change from rating from 2 stars to 1 star. He just continued to drag out the fact she saw and got a photo of him screwing some other girl and wouldn’t drop it. He was selfish and I just could not like anything at all about Stoney. Absolutely my least favorite book by this author. I would have given 0 stars if it was an option

Enjoyed what was hinted of the history between H and h,their attraction and push and pull as well as the more complex underpinnings of h's troubles. And of course, enjoyed the ow drama speckled in. There are quite a few references to data from prior series, so might be best to read Devils Riot MC series first ...So even as I garnered some appreciation, not a true standalone IMO ! 😉
It's not badly written, but the characters are just wholly unlikable. Also TW soft cheating. AND HE DOESN'T EVEN GROVEL! (also, TW for rape, kidnapping, trafficking, and abuse. But I can't forgive cheating OK?) Also, what was the point of the discovery of the end? To make us dislike MMC even more? FMC is emotionally weak and MMC is a fucking asshole.
It didn't do it for me. The female lead didn't have a good head on her shoulders, didn't stand up for herself and towards the end forgave like it was no big deal. I don't like weak female leads and men that walk all over them. Done with this series.
I liked this book for the most part, but some of the things Stoney did were really stupid. And the way he treated her in the beginning of the book really pissed me off. He did redeem himself, but then did something else really ignorant, and then he had to redeem himself again. Overall, this book was entertaining and kind of steamy.
---------------------SPOILERS-------------------
And I liked the epilogue for the most part but what was up with Stoney quite possibly having any kid with Boss (a woman), the Prez of another MC club?? In my opinion, that should've been answered and resolved right away, instead of leaving a giant question mark above me head like that. I understand you need a sort of cliffhanger to keep readers hooked for the next book in the series, but COME ON!
I like how this author moves through the story without dragging it on. But also, you never know when something is going to happen. Stoney sure is a typical biker that fools around with who ever when ever he wants. Rachel settles him down though but boy does she have some self issues. He did have a life before he settles with her and she knows that but apparently forgets. The part about him sitting in his office and watching the two club bunnies go at it…..I wouldn’t want to forgive him for that after he had told her she was his and made her his old lady. I wouldn’t forgive him so easy. This is a great story and I am on to the next book in this series
Oh my gosh, I LOVE E.C. Land and I really love Stoney! We’ve met Stoney, Horse’s Dad, in previous books and he’s such an intriguing character. I was thrilled to see him getting his own book. Stoney is the President of one of the Devil’s Riot Chapters. He has a grown son, grandchildren and his club and he’s happy in his life and then Rachel shows up and literally crashes into his routine. Rachel was around the club some several years prior and had a huge crush on Stoney, that he, of course, didn’t know about. While at college she falls into a relationship with an abusive man and ends up having twins with him. She finally catches a snap and leaves with her children and that’s when the fun begins. This book grabs hold of you and you can’t put it down. Quick read, I read it in an afternoon, filled with all the elements Ms. Land is known for...sexy and thrilling with amazing characters. Love the book and can’t wait to see who’s next. Ms. Land you definitely have captured my attention!

OMG, i have been waiting for this since EC Land said she was going back to the original chapter, I have loved Stoney since first meeting him in Horse s story in the first ever DRMC book. It is not an easy ride for him and Rachel and there is a lot of action, kidnapping etc, if you have read Alluring Allies in the Twisted Steel anthology, you will get an answer to that too, I do not want to spoil it for anyone so just grab a copy, you will not be dissapointed, I just cannot wait for the next one, DRMC are one of the best guys and Ol Ladies ever.

Stoney and Rachel are going to just own you. Rachel is a fantastic mother in a hard situation and decides to go back home to the safety of her cousin but when her crush from years ago is standing face to face when she wakes up can she face it or will she run again.
Stoney is leery of love after he had bad luck with the mother of his son. So now he doesn't get attached until Rachel crashes in and he sees her for the first time as the strong, sassy, fierce mother she is but can he stop her from her ultimate plan of revenge?
This is a story of a younger woman finding herself and the man who helps her might be older but he still has to learn not all women are evil. Together these two are a force and the children are lucky to have them as parents, don't get me wrong they are far from perfect but they own it. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.
Rachel returns home because of her mom and when she sees Stoney again, sparks fly. This is a fast-paced MC read with loads of drama, suspense and steam. Great characters and a wonderful story with in-depth characters and lots of emotion. I liked it.
Love Stoney and Rachel’s story. A little age gap never hurt anyone especially if you are really connected in a special bond. You can still be loved even if you have never really experienced it before. I can wait to read more of E.C. Land books! A must read!
OH MY GOODNESS!!!!! Stoney's Property is HOT, HOT, HOT! Rachel finds her way back to DRMC after escaping an abusive relationship. She comes seeking help from her cousin Tracker. This story follows Stoney and Rachel's journey. Rachel has loved Stoney since she was 16 and he had an eye on her too but wouldn't act on it because of the age difference. Their story is a GREAT age gap read with all the twists and turns that you can imagine. The two of them are put through h*^l by the rival MC her ex belongs to. Things are most definitely handled the DRMC way before they find their HEA.
This book was so good. The characters were so amazing and it was just such an amazing read - even though there were times I had to put it away so I wouldn't throw my phone into the wall because of everything that happened. But I would love to read more about these MC's and whatever their future brings.

This is a hot, steamy MC romance with an older guy and younger woman. This is every teenage girls fantasy come true- her high school crush on that one older guy and he finally notices her when she gets older. Loved Stoney, his heart and commitment to Rachel and her kids. Rachel is your typical female character in MC where she gets in over her head and needs rescuing, not my favorite type of female character but it works here. Lots of steam and action to keep the readers attention.

This story had a lot of potential. However it fell flat. It was fast paced, but left out a lot of details. The heroine was immature. This is an older man/younger woman, yet they never say how old he is. It mentioned other characters from the Devil's Riot, probably should have read those books first. The ending leads to another book with I couldn't find.
