Monique's friend Cecily loves it the Smoky Mountain town where her best friend has found a dragon for a mate. Monique's mating ceremony has new song lyrics circling in her head but, as has been the case for some time now, she can't seem to the whole song to come to her so she can write it down. Cecily has been part of a popular country music band for some time now, but her bandmate and used-to-be boyfriend has stolen all her songs and apparently her ability to write new ones. She would love to break out on her own, but she is scared to try. Her growing feelings for Rafe are almost enough to make her stay and say the heck with the band, but not quite.
Rafe thought he had found his mate in Caroline, but she had gotten sick and died. He is sure his chance at love is gone and all he has left is his thunder and their duty to protect Summerland Valley. Ever since Cecily came to town for Monique's mating ceremony he has been thinking he might still have a chance to find a mate and regain the ability to shift into his dragon form. When she leaves to return to Nashville he knows he has to go after her and convince her to return, even if he has to use her friendship with Monique to do it. His dragon insists that there is much more to Cecily than he knows, but can he really put Caroline in the past and look to his future?

This is the third book in this series and please read the previous two Love Spell and Midsummer Spell as there is an underlying story throughout the series and you will enjoy each book much more if read in order. After saying that each story has a stand alone couple
This is Cecily and Rafe's story sh is the back up singer for a country band and writes all there songs about heartbreak and tears The only problem is that the lead singer has claimed that he wrote the songs She is in Summerland to attend her best friends wedding and there she meets Rafe he is a dragon shifter and he instantly knows she is his mate she should return top her band as they are due in the studio but the call of Rafe is strong and she wants to help him. When John returns demanding that she return to the band it will be up to Rafe to step up and keep her safe. Can they have a future together You will have to read to see

Cecily is in Summerland for her friend's wedding and meets Dragon shifter Rafe.
After touring with the band Double Barrel Republic Cecily finds Summerland, Tennessee a different kind of place. She has come to attend her best friend Monique's wedding to Chance Drake but also as time away from the the band and its lead singer Jonathan Lackey who had taken the hit songs she had written for the band and claimed he had done so. She was pondering going out on her own with new songs she wanted to write. She meets Rafe and is drawn to him. During the ceremony they are attacked and Rafe and his brother in his Thunder change into into Dragons which they have been unable to do for many years and fight off the enemy but they know they will attack again.

This is an amazing story by Kristen Strassel. I love this series by her. I couldn't put this story down. I can't wait for the next one to come out. This story leaves you on a cliffhanger.

Wow! What a cliffhanger!
This is not a book that you can read as a stand-alone. To appreciate the full story of the dragons, how they lost their ability to change back from human form and the hope that has come to them through him man women, then you need to read it from book one. Mind you, I mentioned human women but I have to question that when looking at Sophie and Monique’s stories. Nora is a bit more than she seems to be on the surface too. Cecily is pure music and Rafe loves art in all its forms so how will these two work out?

Both main characters have BAGGAGE galore! Together they can overcome past hurts and learn trust and love. Will they each have the strength and courage to love again and move forward? Evil John boy (ex band mate) keeps turning up to wreak havoc! I like that once Rafe decides he's in, he's all in and steps up! Another twist at the wedding with a cliffy. See what john boy's evil sights are on now! Anxious for the next book.

Cecily and Rafe are a true love story for the ages. Both experienced hurt and loss, but finding each other started their healing process. All their doubts tried to hinder them being together, but being mates was stronger than the darkness. Babies are precious and I can't wait for Cecily to tell Rafe he's going to be a Daddy!!! So glad they are the couple to become pregnant too. They are so deserving.

This was my first time reading this author and I LOVED this book it was awesome. I loved Rafe and Cecily and their romance. They both have a lot baggage. There's plenty of action with drama, suspense, twists, turns, hot alpha dragons and a steamy romance. IN the end they learn to love and trust each other. It's a definite must read for any fan and If you love dragon shifters! I can't wait to read more!!!!

Harvest Spell is the third book in the Smoky Mountain Dragons series and I cannot wait for the next. Magic and mystery abound in this delightful dragon shifter romance. Cecily and Rafe are wonderful characters who have both past issues preventing them from loving again. The storyline is well written, with drama, betrayal, heartbreak, danger, and love.

This book gave me a the feels. Both both them have past relationship baggage, and together they learn to love, trust, and overcome their issues. You could feel their inner turmoil and emotions; I loved it. I cant wait till the next book.

Book three in the Smoky Mountain Dragons series and darn this ended on a cliff-hanger, I will be reading the next book in this series. This is Cecily and Rafe's story there is suspense, drama, danger, evil, a villain, romance, and it also deals with Monique and the Night God. Wow what a story!! Harvest Spell by Kristen Strassel is an amazing story I have had the privilege to read. This is book number three in this amazing series that I can not get enough of. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about dragons, shifters and paranormal romance.

I enjoyed this new story in the "Smoky Mountain Dragons" series. It's a fairly quick read that was very captivating. I like Rafe and Cicely! These two have a bit to overcome to find happiness even if they are true mates. This is a nicely developed and intriguing story.

I am absolutely loving this series so far!🐉💚
Well, this was quite a powerful book about taking your own power back and not driving yourself crazy trying to make others happy by doing what they want you to do, or being who they want you to be. You can only be yourself and the first step in being happy is to be happy with yourself and loving yourself first, pleasing anyone else has to come second. I wasn't sure this book could compare to the last one but Kristen Strassel definitely has a winning series so far. This is my first series by this author but I am far from disappointed. I highly recommend that you try this series. If hot dragon shifters and powerful women who can do magic is something that interests you and you can get lost in for a little while, I highly recommend that you try this series. I definitely was not disappointed and have really enjoyed getting lost myself. You won't be disappointed.🐉✨🔥💚

OMG Intense!
Where the first two stories had drama, this book completely blew them out of the water. Cecily and Rafe both are healing from broken hearts. They agree to work together to help Monique. Their chemistry is hot! Hopefully no one gets burned.

I am loving these Smoky Mountain Dragons books.
Each time I finish one I have to Start the next one to see what happens.
"Harvest Spell" didn't disappoint.
Kristen Strassel has done a fantastic job with this series.

First off Johnathan sucks. I loved Cecily and Rafe's story. Absolutely hated the ending. Again, Johnathan sucks. I can wait to read the next book to find out what happens.

So, while you could pick up on the story by reading separately, it makes so much more sense to read in order. Especially as this one ends with cliffhanger.
I now have part of my questions answered about the bad guy.
Rafe and Cecily know they have something, but both are scared. Danger and wanting to help others is what initially drives them, but love follows.
I wish that was a bigger part, but maybe that comes later.

A very intriguing series about a cursed clan of dragons who need to find their true mates in order to shift into their dragon forms. Rafe found his mate and lost her before they could complete their mate bond. He doesn't believe he will ever find another mate until he meets Cecily. Now there is much needed hope that Rafe and his fellow clan brothers will all find their mates and shift into their dragons in time to combat the threats that loom on the horizon. I really liked Rafe and Cecily's story although there's still two more members who need to find their mates. Very good!
