I really like this little book mostly because it points out things I had never thought about before. It focuses on the actual prayers Jesus said. I like how they are all centered in this one little book. This is a devotional, but I will be keeping it in my library as a reference.
I enjoyed this book. It is a very good guide for those of who unsure or up confident in how to pray, and also for those who need reaffirmation in their faith. Five stars
This is written with good intention. It promises more than it delivers. I am not sure whether it is teaching anything that changes the way a Christian is accustomed to pray. Dr. Lofton misses the point of the Unity Prayer-that they may all be one. Jesus is praying for unity in faith and discipleship. Too many divisions, denominations, too many interpretations of the Word of God. That is not what Jesus prayed for. Is it?
This book looks at the prayers for Jesus to help the reader improve their prayer life. Because it is a daily devotional, it helps you develop the habit of praying like Jesus instead of just giving you the information. It is full of scripture and a great tool for improving your prayer life. I highly recommend it.
This is a very good book for a person who is really wanting to be used as a great prayer warrior! It teaches the things you need to pray for and the reasons for it. Not just some ole prayer book on how to pray the same way or the same mundane prayer. This teaches what and how to pray like JESUS, and how to get His attention. What you should expect, in the way you pray!
Very thoughtfully written in my opinion. Spiritually uplifting. I liked how it made me want to improve my way of praying. I think sometimes everyone needs to brush up on that a little.
Introducing a new thought process in the aspect of prayer. The power of prayer is in praying God’s will to be done. The book brings examples of doing that in comparison to the prayers of Jesus.
This. Book will help anyone no mater how much experience they have with praying. It gives what to say, examples, and most of us could use the help in what to say.
This book is written with good intentions, but if you truly have a relationship with God and are a consistent prayer, you are probably already doing these things. I was disappointed with the lack of depth in the book.
