There's something caged up in a small barn in Heavensworth, and it likes to eat meat. On full moons, if you're close and you're quiet, it can be heard slurping and swallowing its meals from its slop bucket.
That same farm? They grow the best marijuana you'll ever smoke. It'll take you to the moon.
One hit and you start to see the space between worlds—the threads that sew reality together.
You just have to wonder what's in it, don't you?

Creepy, violent, grotesque… just the way a good horror story should be. It’s a quick read. This is a good way for me to kick off spooky season. The thing can’t be killed? Oh my word! And I never thought Taylor would turn like he did. At least he gets the girl in the end. Not too many are left standing in this one.
Small town secrets drive this novella and Author J.Z. Foster into uncharted territory. On top of Harrowing Horrors: Hanged Man, he's dropping this book into your lap to send chills up your spine. Take the time and learn exactly what secrets are hidden in the barn. Highly recommend.
Do you truly know what is in the weed your smoking? When the family secret starts to be exposed what's a person to do? Well, Taylor is about to figure out just what his father and brother have been up to. A creepy short story that will having you wanting more!
This was a pretty good short story that reminds me of the Scary Stories series from when I was a kid, but for Adults, not kids. If you like a good and short story, that is on the weird and creepy side, then you will like this. 😊 👻
Odd but interesting novella, I liked it more than I thought I would. Might have been good to have another person edit, my copy had a misspelled word, multiple punctuations missing, and a few sentences that didn't make sense.
