I read Sniper’s Kiss and absolutely loved it, so I had to get my hands on Angel’s Kiss as soon as possible! Holy crap, all I can say is WOW! What starts off the story is Ana’s restrained, apprehensive and detached emotions while trying to find her true self and turns into a beautiful experience of love, family, retribution and it’s one heck of a wild ride. E.M. Shue totally blew apart my expectations. I absolutely loved the tension in this book and the extremely hot, panty-melting sex scenes. Angel’s Kiss builds on the events that happened in first book, but it is a standalone just like the last one.

Angel’s Kiss by E.M. Shue a five-star read that will kiss your senses. This is the second read in the Securities International series and I would say read Snipers Kiss first as you do see some characters pop up in this, be warned you will need tissues as there are some tissue issues in this story and some real ugly cry moments, but they aren’t the only moments in this book, some of the others will blow you away. The story will take you away with it and make you fall in love with Ana and Joshua.

What is holding you back? Do you want to read one amazing book then you have found it, better yet this is this years hottest series! Ana and Joshua have been in love since the day they laid eye on each other. They don’t follow their hearts and life gets complicated and both horrific people and sinister acts keep them apart for six long years. They find themselves pushed back into each other’s lives by Ana’s brother and her best friend (Duncan, who happens to be Josh’s best friend and Maya who happens to be Duncan’s true love)! Ana struggles through the pain of terrible acts that a sadistic husband inflicts on her all to save her loved ones from him. Can Joshua keep her safe and prove that he always loved her and will keep her safe? Joshua shouldn’t have let this Angel glide out of that bar and his life but now that he’s got her back he will show her just how much he loves her and what lengths he will go to so that she is safe and heals.

This is the ultimate love at first sight book. I've quickly become a fan of E.M. Shue and her "Securities International" Series. The main plot and mystery has carried through both books 1 and 2 so far with enough twists and turns to keep you intrigued. The love stories have all the angst, love and passion to make a true romance worth fighting for. As the storyline becomes more involved and more details come to light, more side characters come into the picture with fully developed personalities. I've quickly learned, once I start one of these books I can't put it down until I've finished and have not been disappointed when I get to the last page.

How does EM do it? She has drawn me into her world of suspense and won’t let me go! While I truly enjoyed Sniper’s Kiss, the first in this series, this new story just made me cry ugly and cheer for the characters. I was on the edge of being an emotional basket case while fiercely thinking, they need to kick the SOB villain straight into hades where the villain belongs! This is a story of redemption and strength after enduring heartbreaking abuse. I can’t wait for the next book.

Loved this story. Loved this series. Just when you think a story can’t get better it does. Ana and Joshua are soulmates who were torn apart but were fortunate to find their way to each other during a crisis. There is suspense, drama, mystery and well written characters that draw you in. Definitely a binge worthy read series that will have you wanting more.

Amazeballs.... if you like suspenseful romantic reads, this book is for you. I recommend reading the series in order but this can be read alone as well. The characters are well described and it was a very intense read. On to the next book.

In this second installment of Securities International we get danger, suspense, evil, survival and so much more. This was well written, the characters and storyline grab ahold of you from start to finish. This has you going through so many emotions that garb ahold of you. Ana is in hiding, pregnant and trying to divorce an abusive husband who threatened everyone she cared about. Even through the extensive abuse she has held onto her first encounter with the Lieutenant. Joshua took over Securities International and is partners with Maya. He has been in love with his Angel since meeting her in the bar. He still has things from his past he needs to overcome due to abusive father.

2nd book in the series, I didn't read the first which likely explains why I was lost throughout most of the book. There are A LOT of characters in this story; too many to keep track of. Writing style was off as well, there were huge gaps in storyline, or it moved to fast for me to follow the intrigue (and there is A LOT of intrigue). As far as the main characters, Joshua and Ana, their story was good, but again, a lot of missing information or too much shoved into one page. Ending is HEA/HFN, but is a lead-in to the 3rd book. Not a standalone as far as I'm concerned.

A fantastic captivating story, continuing the Securities International series.
Ana briefly meets Joshua because of a bet, not using their names they became Angel and the Lieutenant. They both returned to the pub they met but don’t find each other until Ana’s life is in danger and she goes to her brother only to find her lost love is his boss. With all their lives in danger will they be able to see themselves together? A great read.

Heartbreak into love
Very intense!!!
This story took me on a roller-coaster of emotions. I couldn't wait to see what would happen next.
Joshua and Ana are very strong when they are together. Joshua heals her tortured soul.

wow this book was so good! she had to do a dare which end up in her first kiss. now she wants more of him. only hes gone. so she ends up with a guy who is really bad and abuses her. she must get out before she dies. read to find out what happens.

This is one hell of a story that grabbed my attention from start to finish. All the twists and turns with the revelations will have you turning pages. Ana and Joshua's story didn't disappoint. It's a fantastic story. Loved it.

Angel's kiss is the second book from this series. As Maya and Duncan's story continues, it mainly focuses on Joshua and Ana. The hunt is on to find Jonathon as well as Sir and the protectors identity.
It's fast paced, dual pov's and brings in other characters that will be important to the series.

Ana, a business major, meets Joshua, a member of the English military, at a pub one night and they left a lasting impression on each other. As the story progresses their paths collide again, the present horrors persist, and a danger from the past seems to perpetuate into the future. E.M. Shue took two damaged souls and brought them together and creates a bright if bumpy future. I am really enjoying rereading this series and can’t wait to get some time for the next book. Reader discretion advised due to dark subject matter and/or possible triggers.

Wow ! What a book ! The author has action , love and attraction . There is a depth to the characters and plot that goes over and above what other authors write . This is a series that I just have to see where the plot is going next .

Wow! I am so in love with the whole Securities International team! I love how you can see some things happening early and some hit you when you least expect it. Great job E.M. Shue Can't wait to read #3!
