In search of salvation, four convicts opened a tattoo shop. They didn't expect to find true love along the way. This is Phoenix's story. I never expected to meet the love of my life in a bar. Especially someone like Everly. She's absolutely perfect. Maybe too perfect. She's a good girl alright, exactly what I've been waiting for my whole life. I just hope she can overlook my tainted past so we can create a brilliant future. Because now that I've found her, I'm never letting her go. I didn't think men like Phoenix existed in real life. The minute I see him, I'm hooked. Then he tells me he's an ex-convict. I do believe in second chances, But I'm not sure I can be part of his story. Walking away from him is hard, especially when I've fallen so fast. But guys like him and girls like me never work out. At least that's what I keep telling myself. First things first; I love the cover of this book! Phoenix is book two in the redemption ink series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline entertaining. Phoenix falls in love with Everly as soon as he meets her in a bar. The problem is, he has been in prison and he doesn’t know how she will react. Everly is instantly attracted to Phoenix. She does believe that people deserve second chances but she doesn’t think she can be a part of the new chapter in his life. Will Phoenix change Everly’s mind? The chemistry between Phoenix and Everly is clear to see and I liked them as a couple. I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.
Everly met Phoenix one night in a bar while she's out with friends. Turns into a one night stand for her once he tells her his past. Six months later she goes to the tattoo parlor to see him. They end up talking and pick up where they left off. While out to dinner one night she sees one of her students. The girl's mother asks if she could talk to her. She proceeded to tell her who and what he's done which could hurt her job. Read the story to see what she did. It's good. Written by Cindy :)
I thought it was rude of that parent to interrupt Everly and Phoenix's dinner date. I knew she was going to warn Everly about Phoenix. She's lucky her daughter was there because I knew she would have gotten cussed out, Damn busybody. I'm glad Everly decided to go looking for Phoenix at the tattoo shop after ghosting him. They deserved every happiness.
She back in town to teach and a friend talks her into going out. He finally goes out with his buddies. Once their eyes meet they're both hook. One night stand and 6 months later she shows up at the shop. He turns his back on her she left without a word. He agrees to talk and they straighten things out. She didn't think she was good enough fir him.
After a one night stand where Phoenix falls hard, he thinks he will never see Everly again until.she shows up at his tattoo shop and he can see his HEA again. This book is a fun and sexy read.
An ex-.com tattoo artist seems a little cliche, but it's really a good story. Phoenix had a one night stand with Everly, but she ghosted him. Six months later she shows up at his tattoo shop to explain. Sweet story.
This was another great read! I know that each series are not together and you can read it without reading the first but I think you should read in the order that it goes! Love wondering what is the next story!
I loved Phoenix and Everly’s chemistry. Off the charts hot, it nearly melted my Kindle! Never underestimate a good girl. Who said opposites don’t attract? Great read with all the feels!
