Exalted is a book that you will finish and then flip right back to page 1 and start all over again. Sonja Corbitt takes the Magnificat apart line by line and effortlessly reveals how Mary's proclamation can become our own. This prayer unites us with the Holy Spirit and we will see His transformation in our lives if we allow Him to enter in.
Sonja Corbitt is a master at making Old and New Testament connections. She flawlessly weaves her own real life examples in with the Biblical text to make it easy to understand and relevant. Corbitt understands that repetition is the key to internalization so her "Let's Review" section allows the reader to take note of the important points from each chapter. Nothing is glossed over.
I highly recommend this book! You will never look at the Magnificat the same.

This is a wonderful book for daily reading and devotion. You will go through each line of the Magnificat and learn all of the details behind this amazing song. There are summaries and actions at the end for a real study experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking to expand their faith and learn more about the wonderful story of Mary.

Easy read with lots of spiritual gems. Sonja really digs deep but is easy following along. Review and Love the Word at the end of each chapter. Lots of good stuff and I anticipate it being a good one to keep going back to and re-reading.

What if the nature of that invitation is contained and preserved in scripture in the words fo the first person to incarnate a complete yes to him?”
Each chapter includes Corbitt’s insightful, witty, and thought-provoking stories and commentary, a review of the concepts, an application to the scriptures and chapter topics to the reader’s personal life, and what Corbitt calls a “God Prompt.” It’s a delightful journey closer to Mary, and one that may make you adopt the Magnificat as a prayer of your own.
