Emilia and Cole are great characters.
Cole is hiring a weekend waitress for his diner.
His inner thoughts are a jumbled mess when he meets Emilia. She is everything he wants.
Against his better judgment he hires her knowing she will be a distraction.
He becomes jealous of non existent boyfriends, angry with customers when he thinks she is uncomfortable.
Emilia is in college she has three roommates in her dorm. Two become great friends and one well she kinda doesn't fit in.
Some time passes Cole is getting impatient after d3he ran out on him when they shared a hot and steamy kiss. He tracks her down at her dorm. But when they start to get down and dirty he finds out she is a virgin. He stops, wanting the act to be special.
On their first official date he rents a penthouse suite he went all out non alcoholic champagne, sexy lingerie, rose petals. Perfect first time. She is a little bit surprised at his attitude about spending so much money and decides she will work some shifts for free to help with the cost. Then they can't keep their hands off each other. But all good things come to a screeching halt when a woman calls his cell phone really early in the morning. Not to mention the women was rude as all get out.
When the women was through talking Emilia is confused, hurt and betrayed.
Cole come out of the shower to find his apartment empty no Emilia. Then she doesn't show up for her shift. Now he is worried. Until the women calls back asking why he didn't call her back, when he says he didn't know he was supposed to call she says she left the message with the BIMBO waitress. OOPS. When she retells their conversation. He knows he messed up, keeping this from Emilia was wrong but he was trying to be sure about her but he realized his mistake. A week and no contact and Cole is loosing control. Time to get his girl back.

Our hero needs solid help for his diner and our heroine needs a job to pay for school. What neither expects is the instant attraction between them.
This is a bit of an older/younger story and definitely one with instant attraction. But they both try to fight it for a while and there are some obstacles thrown in their way, which makes this story perhaps a bit more complex than some of the others I have read by this author. The story is well written, the characters are fun and we get plenty of steam on the way to our HEA.
Overall a very enjoyable read.
Highly recommended.

This book pulled me in and kept me entranced till the end. The feelings of love, hate, and pain coming out in waves making you want to cry while you read. This was such a beautiful book! I loved the characters' wholesomeness!

The author has done it again! We are pulled into the lives of Cole and Emilia and that is exactly where we want to be. They have an instant attraction, however, their road to happiness is not going to be smooth.

Growth
The last few books have shown a lot of growth as a writer for Flora. They're not all replicas of a trope now. Each one is a little different, the relationships aren't happening in just a day or three but taking real time to develope.

Obviously an HEA but no other family on either side was mentioned. The fact that his accountant called her a bimbo was not even addressed. Easy going people? I guess so.

Different in the best ways!
This was such a charming quick read! Likeable characters, an actual plot, and no gratuitous vulgarity; I enjoyed Cole and Emilia.

Here’s the thing. This has all the elements of a good time for me. An age-gap insta-love erotica with a possessive hero? Count me in. But Emilia is far too annoying.
Our first hint of her personality: when getting to know her college roommates, the two “popular” girls are rude to the unpopular “plain and dumpy” one. Emilia ignores the bullying, and the poor girl, too. Not one to stick up for the little man, is she? Next, she has a hard time with an economics class and Cole offers his help. She‘s surprised that he’s able to teach her so well because he’s “just a small business owner.” Um… yeah, all business owners can probably teach you a thing or two about economics, even dumpy little diner-owners. But she gets more uppity from there.
So, Cole is apparently rich because of course he is. Emilia feels like he lied to her because he didn’t her. Then she ghosts him for a little over a week. Didn’t even have the decency to call and say she needed to take a break, or at least that she wasn’t going to pick up her shifts at the diner. That was just way too immature and whiny of her to do for my taste. Cole even said himself that they hadn’t really talked about personal things because their relationship is purely physical, stuff like favorite foods or colors or whatnot had not come up. So how would the money have come up organically? Emilia says he should have told her when she offered to reimburse him for the hotel room he booked to have sex with her in. I still don’t understand that. Just because he has a lot of money doesn’t mean you can’t still pay for yourself.
Yes, it’s a small thing, but the thing is that it wasn’t about Emilia wanting to be responsible and pay her way. It was that once again, she thought little of him because she thought he only owned the one diner. If he couldn’t afford it, do you think he’d go bankrupt just to buy her you some lingerie and book a room? She needs to get over herself.
So, that whole spiel was all character-based. I know. I really disliked Emilia. I thought she was uninteresting and boring, but in my defense, I had good reason. The romance between Emilia and Cole is wilted anyway. There is none, actually, I would argue. Cole is physically attracted to her and vice versa, but there is nothing substantial under the lust. The insta-love didn’t really work for me because Emilia was such a cardboard character; she could’ve been any other girl with her body and Cole would’ve been chasing her tail.
That was a little overly in-depth for such a short little novella, but I was just so fired up about it nonetheless. Bottom line, I don’t think this is a good book at all. The sex wasn’t even hot. Waste of time, for me.

While looking over the applications for a new waitress for Coles diner he cant believe these college kids no work ethic no desire to work hard Cole doesn;t know how many more he can put up with.Just as he thinks hel l stop for the day the door bell signals someone else is here.When Cole sees the innocent beauty that walks in he knows she will be his.Emilio needs this job to help with her experiences at college.Shes stunned at how good looking her boss is.Yes he;s older but college boys are so immature.But he;s her boss she needs to remember that.As Emilia an her dorm mates sit an talk she wonders if she will ever find a man she wants as her first? Will Emilia an Cole end up together?The characters are great the chemistry between Emilia an Cole is off the charts.Will a secret that Cole hasn;t shared make Emilia run from him?Will Cole go get Emilia back?The twists and turns to this story will keep you riveted until the very last page.I love the way this amazing author brings the characters to life before your eyes and you can feel their emotions and their pain.I can hardly wait to see what;s next by this multi talented author.

If you have read Flora Ferarri before, this one was her usual HEA short smexy read, though I have to admit that she became better as time went; this one included. More depth and more flow.
Just like most of her other books, this one had older alpha H with sweet honest to goodness h. The one thing that diffeent though, the H was nothing like her usual borderline-possessive H. This one was more "calmer" but still sweet and territorial. No stalking-ish behavior. No OTT jealousy acts; there's definitely jealousy and its mutual, but nothing too crazy, just about right. The he h also not just about okay. I mean she's not throwing herself to the H easily like some other instalove books. She was definitely making the H tried to prove his undying love to her, which made this book interesting as well as sweeten the romancing.
Safe read. HEA. Sweet adorable couple.

A FANTASTIC READ!!!!! SUPER ROMANTIC.
Emilia has just started College and has a job interview at a diner. This is where she meets the owner Cole, he is older than her but that doesn't stop her heart from beating faster. She loves working at the diner and cant wait to get there so she can see Cole. When she starts to struggle with some classes Cole is quick to let her know he can help her. Cole cant seem to take his eyes off Emilia and he cant stand it when young college men stare at her, he gets protective of her. Soon they find it hard to keep each others hands off each other but then something happens that could ruin everything. Can they work it out???
This is a fast pacing love story that just made my heart sing. I couldnt read this story fast enough and had to read it in one sitting ( housework be dammed lol ) I am so excited to read any work by Flora Ferrari. Her stories just make my day!!!!!

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the older man/ younger woman romance between Emilia and Cole. Cole owns a diner and is looking to hire a new waitress. Emilia just started college and is away from home for the first time, she is also looking for work. When Emilia applies to the diner for work, Cole is struck by her beauty and he wants her to be his. Emilia is a virgin and is very attracted to Cole, but she thinks he isn't interested in her. When Emilia is worried about passing one of her classes, Cole offers to tutor her. Cole uses the opportunity to get closer to Emilia and let her know he wants to be with her, but Cole has secrets that could ruin his relationship with Emilia. I liked this book, i loved how Cole was so out of gear about his feelings for Emilia and he went a little caveman around her. I think Emilia was down to earth and didn't care about things her friends did. Cole and Emilia seemed good together and i think she calmed him down a bit and made him less cranky. Another good one from Flora.

This is another great older man younger woman read from the true queen of this genre How she keeps her books fresh after so many I don not know nut somehow she does it.
Cole is a diner owner and he needs to hire new wait staff the only problem is that the college students he is interviewing continually turn up late and try to lay the blame on him this isn't the kind of work ethic he needs in an employee. Amelia is studying business at college and she really needs the job she is about to interview for to help pay her bills. What she didn't expect was a boss that made her pantees melt as for Cole she has the job even if he can't remember a word she said Because he doesn't just want her to work for him here wants to be her everything for the rest of her life. Do they have a future together You will have to read to see

So this was a free ARC copy from one of my favorite authors and booksprout for my voluntary honest review of this story and oh mama it's sooo freaking hooot.Once I started reading this I couldn't put it down it was that great a read (I thought it was).I so love reading this authors books because I know they are sooo sizzling hooot, each one! This one has a great storyline about a older guy that owns a diner and hires a young woman. And even from the start he wanted her and has time passes by , she starts to fall for him to.Does she want him to be her first time with a man, oh yes she does.And it's sooo freaking hooot , they almost burn the sheets.So if you want more you need to go get the book.Also it has great characters to read about.Plus like I said it's sooo freaking sizzling hooot!!!

Claimed By Her Boss is another great book by Flora Ferrari. This is the story of Emilia and Cole and is an Older Man/Younger Woman romance. Cole owns Cole's Diner and needs a good waitress that will not only be good with customers but actually show up for her shifts. In walks Emilia who needs a job to help pay for her college.
They both are instantly attracted to each other but this is business and everyone knows don't mix pleasure with business..............or do you???

Claimed By Her Boss is another great book by Flora Ferrari. This is the story of Emilia and Cole and is an Older Man/Younger Woman romance. Cole owns Cole's Diner and needs a good waitress that will not only be good with customers but actually show up for her shifts. In walks Emilia who needs a job to help pay for her college.
They both are instantly attracted to each other but this is business and everyone knows don't mix pleasure with business..............or do you???

If you're looking for an easy to follow, hot, steamy, sexy, smooth flowing read that captures your attention from the start. Congratulations my friends you've found it. The characters and scenes are realistic and believable. Twists and turns and unpredictable surprises that kept my eyes on the pages and on the edge of my seat. I followed the characters fascinated as their personalities transformed and blended. Vivid detailed descriptions were so life like and on point. The storyline was solided and well defined. Cold showers may be in order when your finished. Flora Ferrari did a remarkable job bringing this story together beautifully.

Here we have a story about an older guy and younger woman, actually this story is one of the better ones I have read lately from this author. It seems more put together and has way less typos and errors which makes it a much more enjoyable reading even though this was an Advanced Readers Copy that I got. This story is not quite as short, it at least does not feel that way and is somehow just more complete. Both characterwise and the storyline. Overall just a job well done for this story and it is really deserving the beautiful four stars I am giving it here.

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this story about Cole and Emilia. She's starting at Cole's Diner to help pay for college. She's attracted to her boss but when he helps her understand her econ homework that seals the deal. Cole is drawn to Emilia and can't help but want her. While getting her with homework her kisses her and she's runs scared. The two work well together but when she discovers that he really is a business owner and millionaire, she feels lied to. Great HEA after working on all their issues.

Flora has done good, again! I can never get enough of her books!

In walks Emilia, an innocent college student who is not afraid of getting hands dirty. She needs the money to help pave her way through college.
Together, they work well. Feelings start emerging & before she knows it, Cole is kissing her. She runs away, but cannot deny the inevitable attraction between them both.
I wholeheartedly recommend this book to everyone - It's such a sweet story that it melted my heart.

This is a sweet romance that is well written and of a nice length. Nice storyline and plot. I like the characters and how they develop through the story.
I would have like more conversation and not that much thinking and explaning. More direct conversation would have given it the last star. It felt like all the internal thinking and explaning was a bit too much because it took over the story.
The drama, confusion, attraction, trust and twists made it a very nice read.
I always like an alpha that goes for what he wants but would have liked her to be over twenty.
Absolutely captivating and enjoyable read.

Lord, you know when you are reading one of Flora books, so much sweet emotional anguish and that insta-love that just knock you off of your feet.
Cole not looking for anything in the romance department, he just wants to run his diner, but the first time he sees Emilia he wants only one thing, and that is to make her his. "Swoon"..
This book is well worth the read, I even bought one for my own collection..
