Having read 2 out of the 3 books available in this series, I can honestly say it is a fantastic, encouraging read. Beware, however, that there may be some triggers regarding domestic abuse, both physical and psychological as well as adultery.
This story literally starts where the other book left off, which makes me think it could have been one book, a very long book but one book none-the-less. Andre and Evelyn's relationship progresses rather quickly, due to Andre's history and his obsessive need to care for and watch out for Evelyn. For Evelyn, never having had someone to take care of her, to care what happens to her, to want to protect her, has her feelings fast-forwarding. You will also find life-changing moments for Evelyn in this book that help her to become surer of herself, an with Andre by her side, confront her worst nightmare. Again, the book ends in one heck of a cliffhanger, but the stories are so well written and engaging that you don't mind waiting for the third installment. Let me rephrase that, not waiting too long.😉
