Oh, how I love this series. Everything about it appeals to me. The heroines. The heroes. The plot lines. The exceptional love scenes. EVERYTHING.
I wasn't really sure how Audrey was going to redeem Clay after his appearance in book 3, but boy, did she pull it off! I loved how Clay figured out where he'd gone wrong and was quickly ALL IN with Moe. Nothing gets me faster than a hero who knows what he wants and goes for it with guns blazing.
I loved Moe's character, too. It would've been hella easy for her to be a whiny, gloom-and-doom type with everything that happened to her, but Audrey developed a heroine worth cheering for.
If you haven't started this series yet and want something fresh and HOT, then get going with Lotus House!
I fell in love with Audrey Carlan reading the first book of A Lotus House Series and I have been completely hooked since. Limitless Love is Lotus #4 and it is gorgeous. A wonderful love story between a single mother and swoony hero.
Monet and Clayton have known each other for a short time the year before. Monet thought they had a great connection but Clayton seems to get cold feet and never calls her again. They went their separate ways. The circumstances of how they reconnect this second time around helps Clayton realize that the chemistry they had was unbreakable and his feelings for Monet and her little girl ran deeper than he had anticipated. I really enjoyed the slow building friendship to lovers relationship between Monet and Clayton. This plot is a bit more serious and emotional. Monet was attacked by her deadbeat ex-husband and badly injured physically and emotionally. She has been to hell and back and Clayton was there to hold her hand every step of the way. Clayton was hurt and betrayed in his past relationship that makes it hard for him to trust people but Monet changes that. Clayton jumps into caring for Monet and her little girl – it’s really sweet. I adore Clayton. Clayton is truly a hero in every sense of the word. He is protective, patient, kind, sweet and caring. It doesn’t hurt that he is all muscle, sexy and easy on the eye. He had me at “hello” the minute he had his first interaction with Lily – totally swoony and melted my heart. Let’s not forget the romance between Monet and Clayton though. You have to wait a long while given Monet’s healing process but damn! Audrey writes the best erotic, panty dropping hot, and passionate sex scenes like no other.
Over all, Limitless Love is truly a beautify, heartfelt, passionate romance with a dash of suspense and drama. Another wonderful addition to the Lotus series.
Learning to live and cope after pain and tragedy isn't easy but, it's so much better with a solid support system behind you, people that are determined to see you get better. Monet has that, from some pretty surprising sources!
Characters who know what they want and aren't afraid to take the steps to achieve their goals. But, healing takes time and patience...something that Clay is willing to give Moe. His determination and caring slam through all her walls. He's a force of nature, just what Monet needs to keep from falling into herself.
Gripping and page turning, surprising. I love how all the characters from this series continue to be a small part of every book. It keeps the family/community ties strong.
Was passiert in diesem Buch?<7u>
Wow! This was the absolute best of the series!! Incredible characters. Gripping storyline. Heartfelt scenes. A passionate love story and all the feels! Moe and Clay are such beautiful people. Their experiences shape each other and they learn and grown from each other. I couldn’t get enough of their chemistry and connection and Moe’s darling daughter was my absolute favourite. Such an adorable girl with a huge heart. Her relationship with Clay touched my heart and as it grew and grew as if he was always meant to be her dad. Moe is one of the strongest heroines I’ve ever read she has been through so much and the way she healed and got through it all was inspiring. Clay 100 percent redeemed himself from the last book. He is patient, loving and kind.
Audrey Carlan has written and incredible series with these Lotus House books. The characters she has created, their experiences and their passion for each and for yoga and all their friendships is such so beautiful. I can’t wait for Silent Sins next.
Emma Wilder deserves an award for her performance as Moe. I could not stop listening. The emotion, passion and heart in her performance shines through and makes this story come alive. Teddy Hamilton was just a fabulous as Clay.
Limitless Love is a book that has burrowed into my heart and planted the seeds of hope.
Monet Holland is a strong woman who was struck down in such a horrible way that sometimes even the strongest cannot withstand. However, she got up, fought, and showed, without trying, that she is a powerhouse. Her support system consisted of her family of her heart, and the man who refused to let go.
Clayton Hart is a strong man, both physically and emotionally. His past would have made any man give up. Yet, when a friend of his best friend needed help in the most unexpected way possible, Clay showed up. He not only showed up, but he took hold and never let go.
I always find myself learning valuable lessons from Ms. Carlan's work. In Limitless Love, I not only learned that not only is true love limitless, but it's the most powerful thing in the world and the most beautiful gift one can receive. But it's not only romantic love. It's the love of and for friends, the family of the heart. This is what rings so clearly throughout this book. This story isn't just about Monet and Clay falling in love, though I still get chills thinking about it, but about how all of the different types of love can change lives, even through horror.
Limitless Love is filled with pain and comfort, sadness and joy, lust and love, and of course, wicked hotness! Ms. Carlan puts forth yet another beautiful novel and we can’t wait for more from her!
"Don't tease me with the prospect of Heaven, beautiful, it's just cruel." Clayton Hart ❤️ Audrey Carlan has this flawless way with words that make her characters come to life in such a perfect way that you swear they truly exist. This story is an absolutely yummy page turner and the title is perfect. It is my new favorite in the series even though it can be read as a standalone. Clay is scrumptious and my new book boyfriend. Monet is bodacious and strong with a little girl that makes my heart sing. These two people have been through hell and back in different ways, but are fierce and protective of the ones they love. The twist and turns are thrilling and suspenseful and oh so perfect. Clayton and Monet will weave their way into your heart and never leave because their love is limitless.
Absolutely, unequivocally, Audrey Carlan's finest work to date. This book had everything at which this exemplary writer excels: a heroine beaten down but not destroyed, a hero in need of the love that will define him, and a crisis that is awe-strikingly complex yet, in these strange times in which we live, achingly real. Every fiber of my heart and soul were pulled and strung tight in reading this book. The tears I shed were a testament to this author's great ability to move the very spirit of a reader. What a gift she gives us with each new story conveyed from her heart. Beautiful and bold and real. Brava.
My only complaint about this otherwise swoony story: There were some instances where the main character was almost TSTL... literally. First, she didn’t run. Also, she doesn’t understand the whole, “fool me twice, shame on you” concept. I mean, hellloooo?!
That’s the emotional and physical one, two punch Limitless Love had on me! This was the most thought provoking, soul searching, & scorching hot book of the series.
For me, I felt like it had elements of all my favorites from Audrey; the emotion from Trinity Trilogy, the tight knit family/friendship bonds from Falling Series, and of course the yoga aspects I crave from the Lotus series.
If you’ve read the previous books you’ll be privy to the first encounter between Monet & Clayton. Now let me tell you as much as I love a HEA, I was seriouslyyyyy hoping she wouldn’t make it easy on him after we see Clayton bail like that.
In the beginning though, we learn both Monet and Clayton have jaded past relationships. Monet’s husband left her in unthinkable terms, and Clayton’s ex did the same. Audrey really makes you wonder if these too can make it work. Luckily for us, Mr Hart goes 100% all in and I love that!
We also get light and fun snippets from the Queen, aka Monet’s daughter. Her imagination and voice are the cutest especially where King Clay and PowPow are concerned. I also always love how the friendships centered around Lotus House are unparalleled. I would love to be in the bestie squad with Mila/Moe and Amber/Vivie.
For the grand finale of an ending, you’ll get smacked upside the head with an “I didn’t see that coming” utterly WOW! Need I say more, this is a book you’ll want too and can read whether you’ve read the others or not!!
Limitless Love is the 4th installment in the Lotus House series by Audrey Carlan. Just like it's proceeders, it doesn't disappoint! Monet Holland is a sweet, compassionate, loving, strong and nurturing woman. As a mental health professional she is wonderful at giving advice, but can take the advice she dishes out and trickle it into her life? Just as she is at the brink of getting over her past, it comes back with a vengeance, paralyzing her with fear and dread. Clayton Heart just can't forget the pain and betrayal his ex left in his heart. What he wants the most, love, a wife, a family, he can't have because of the fear that love will once again betray him. So when he is asked to watch over Monet's daughter Lily, he finds himself drawn to the little bundle of joy and thinking about the 'what ifs.' Clayton knew he made a big mistake a year ago, walking away from Monet and the crazy connection they had. He hadn't gotten over what Stacey his ex did to him, so when it was revealed that Monet had a child, he high tailed it out of there. Now, he wished he thought it through better because being with Monet and Lily brings him a peace and sense of belonging he thought he'd never find. Monet is emotionally and physically scared by her attacker, her ex husband, the man she once loved and gave everything to. It's one thing to be unfaithful, but another stab in the heart when the man that you promised to love and cherish, till death do you part, is the one trying to end you. Who was Kyle? How was Monet so easily fooled when it's her job to read people so well? Monet and Clayton's courtship is sweet and adorable. Clayton has this sense to protect both Monet and Lily and makes it his job to do so. Nothing is going to happen to his girls on his watch. The only hard thing is getting Monet to let down her guard and trust Clayton with her heart. Monet instantly feels safe in Clayton's presence, but she has been fooled before, so easily, she questions if he really means what he says. How long before Clayton decides she isn't enough? What will happen when Clayton finally sees her external scares are just as ugly as her internal and he runs for the hills? Can Monet and Clayton find their happily ever after? Ahh... I couldn't get enough of this story. Queen Lily is so sassy and adorable you want to scoop her up and drown her in kisses. She was a breath of fresh air throughout the story. Lightening the mood and bringing so much joy and laughter to all around her. Monet and Clayton's connection was HOT. I loved the power struggle Clayton felt between what he wanted and what he had to do. His love, compassion, and fierce protective nature was such turn on. It was nice to see someone come in and take care of Monet for once, and how slowly Clayton's ways won her over and she gave in to him. It was also sweet to see the bond, love and acceptance that Clayton and Monet shared with their friends and how each and every one of them would lay their life for the other. Great story!
Another outstanding book by Audrey Carlan, this time following Monet Holland and Clayton Hart.
Hello everyone my name is Monet. I must say that I hope that I’m a good person. Well I try to be. I know that after my husband decided to up and leave me; I then decided that I needed to then pick up the pieces of my shattered heart and I tried to make myself move on. That took all my strength and then piece by piece of what was left of my shattered heart at a time.
I was almost about to give up on looking for love until fate decided to intervene. I knew that things were about to change but as usual I wasn't sure if it was just a mistake on my part or maybe I could believe in myself and let things progress by themselves. I knew that my past would reappear or come back to haunt me. I knew that I had suffered enough with my husband and wanted a change for me, Just when I thought things were looking up for me was I wrong to assume it would be my second chance of happiness or would I run in the other direction.
I was frightened and very traumatised and physically scarred. I believe I had nothing left to look forward too, let alone hold on to.
I realised then in that moment when the sexy but mysteriously handsome Clayton Hart appeared in my world. Gah Clayton was mouthwatering deliciousness with his sea blue eyes; perfectly placed, not a strand out of place on his spiky blonde hair; Oh and also Clayton had a body that was defined and totally packed with muscles. Hows a girl supposed to resit a guy like that! I knew that in that moment I never stood a chance.
Clayton proved to me that he could push all my buttons and break down my walls that I slowly re-built around my heart. As Clayton then kept pushing his way into my pathetic and lonely life (well that's how I would describe my life when I have a no confidence to be around people day). Clayton made his way into my warm and cosy bed. Oh I may have forgot to mention or maybe you've noticed that Clayton then pushed his way into my heart. Clayton proved to me that not only the passionate of love but also the truest of loves can be limitless.
Clayton restored my faith in men, well Clayton especially but all my friends husbands too, I never liked to be around them much but that's changed now that I've gotten my confidence back and that is all down to Clayton.
Is it too soon to call him my knight in shining armour?
I am loving the Lotus House Series. After reading Clayton and Monet’s story I think every woman needs a Clayton in their life. Strong, loving, a man any woman could fall in love with easily. Another must read!
I fell in love with Audrey's writing when I read her Calendar Girl series and she continues to entertain me with her wickedly amazing words. I was enraptured from page one not only by her quality of writing but her immense talent for creating complex, strong, diverse characters plus a unique, perfectly paced storyline. Bound together - these elements become a truly phenomenal read!
Mila is a tender, compassionate, brilliant heroine. After her divorce she creates the best life she can for her and her daughter Lily. Surrounded by their friends that are their family.
Clayton is a friend of a friend. He's built, handsome and all alpha male. He & Mila met prior and felt a connection however baggage from his ex had him running the other way. Avoiding entanglements.
Until Mila's past catches up with her in the most horrific way and Clayton is there to lend a helping hand when his friends need it. The relationship that sparks between Clayton and Lily made my ovaries explode. His instant attraction, possessiveness and claim on Mila made my heart explode. Lilly has such a pivotal role and it was both adorable and exciting because I knew she couldn't be resisted. King Clayton is all in from that moment and their story unfolds so beautifully! So, so, so many FEELS! There were several moments where I could of used a support group. Great book for a buddy read. Gah - so good!
Plenty of suspense kept me on the edge of my seat. Wondering when or if Mila's ex would be caught. Will she fall in love and let her guard down? Over come her past? Will Clayton over come his?
And the ending...holy mother of all that is holy...very special surprises indeed! So perfect! And yes I'm being vague because I refuse to spoil it for potential readers.
I simply cannot recommend Limitless Love or Audrey Carlan enough. She is one incredibly talented word ninja. I absolutely adore her work.
What I love most about this series is the friendships that are built around the Lotus House. In no way are any of the friends related by blood yet the relationships that exist among them is so deep and profound it is as if they truly are all related.
Limitless Love features Monet Holland and Clayton Hart who are both extremely jaded from past relationships – one more so than the other. The attraction between these two always existed but because of the “baggage”, that they both carried they refused to acknowledge it.
This changes however when Moe’s life is put in danger. At first, I wondered if Clayton actions were based on this “hero complex” but as the story unfolds it becomes obvious that it so much more than that.
His character definitely shined in this story. I loved that he was patient, understanding, affectionate, and how caring and protective he was not only for Monet but for her adorable daughter as well. After everything Moe went through she deserved someone phenomenal and in all aspects, Clayton was that for her.
If you asked me what was the best part of the story?… I would have to say that emotional ending. I won’t get into it but I will say that I was astounded beyond words with how Audrey Carlan unexpectedly brought this family full circle.
I am so not surprised that PassionFlix decided to turn this amazing series into a movie because not only are the books highly addictive but they are all heartwarming. Haven’t started the series yet? You absolutely need to! Read these books and fall in love with each and one of these great couples just as hard as I did!
I have loved the Lotus House series so far, but I think that Limitless Love is definitely one of my favourites.
Monet is a strong independent single mother to her lovely daughter, Lily. She has a good job, a lovely home and her bestie, Mila, is a strong character to have by her side.
Monet is leaving work one evening when disaster strikes and she is rushed to hospital. Mila is automatically at her side leaving Lily in the care of Clay, who met Monet briefly a year before, but did not pursue anything when he found out she had a daughter, due to his own personal reasons from the past.
However whilst looking after Lily he connects with her in a way he never thought possible, then when Monet returns home he takes it upon himself to take care of both of them, but with Monet's independence is this something she will allow.
This book is as hot and steamy as every other Audrey Carlan book I have read, and I have the same connection with these characters that I have had with all of her others.
This is definitely a rollercoaster ride not to be missed so do not hesitate to start reading now.
Clayton and Monet are finding that fate sometimes has funny way of setting you on the path to your perfect. Moe has divorce that could be a made for tv movie. She still cannot believe that her life settled out like this. The man she honored and loved so readily betrayed and threw not only their life away but also their daughter. When Kyle comes back and goes from just plain cruddy ex to a complete psycho murder ex Monet really cannot believe that this is her life. Now Moe is trying to cope with the aftermath of this assault, the threat of a return, fear for Lily, and pain of knowing that a man she once loved now wants her dead. But apparently she has a knight in shining armor in Clayton Hart. When Clayton heard of Monet’s brush with peril, he's overcome with the strongest desire to make sure that she and her little girl are protected. For a long time he has shut his heart off and now he is opening it back up to this woman and her daughter and he cannot for the life of him figure out why. All he knows is that they are his to guard and care for and nothing will harm them so long as he on the task.
LOVE.LOVE.LOVE. Oh my goodness I don’t think I never wanted something to end like this book just did... like I just finished two seconds ago and I’m not okay. I could read about Clayton and Monet and little lily for the rest of my life and be okay, if she made a book series of just them I would read it forever. There’s such a fine line between letting characters fall for each other fast and have it be cheesy or just not realistic but when these two finally tell themselves they love each other even after a short amount of time it was like ‘ITS ABOUT TIME’ because their chemistry was so strong. And omg lily and Clayton... stop cutest father/daughter relationship ever. I don’t think I’ve ever had my heart melt from such a sweet and special bond between and little girl and man she loves and admires as much as him. I can’t wait to reread this book ASAP!
I love these Lotus House books! I will be honest, they tend to get very invested very quickly, which can be a lot to take in. Clayton and Monet had been flirting in the past books, but he backed off after finding out she has a daughter. Then, her sleaze of an ex-husband attacks her and Clayton is brought right into the thick of it with her and her daughter.
Now, I will say this. This cheese level is high in this book - I loved it, but I can see it not being everyone's cup of tea. To balance that out there is plenty of hot love scenes...the good ones I've come to expect and love from Carlan....and an adorably precocious little girl.
All in all, a good read (although a touch predictable) that made me feel all warm and fuzzy :)
