Griff Lambert runs a whale-watching business in the small beach town he grew up in. The laid-back captain is strong, sexy, and capable of sweeping a woman off her feet, if only he hadn’t sworn them off for good. But then he meets Autumn Paxton. The beautiful new pier owner who strides into town in a pair of sexy sky-high shoes and a smile that lights up the beach. From the moment their eyes meet, he knows he’s in trouble. After a messy divorce, Autumn’s hoping to start a brand new life. One that doesn’t involve making the kind of mistakes that landed her here. Like falling for the gorgeous whaleboat captain who makes her feel things she never has before. One kiss leads to another, and before they know it they’re tangled together in Griff’s bed. They both know the rules. No complications, no messy feelings, and definitely no falling for each other. It should be simple, right? **Pieces of Us is the sixth book in the Angel Sands series, set in a small beach town on the California coast. If you like a heartwarming read that's low on angst and big on feels, this stand-alone romance is for you.**

I received an ARC of this book and this is my voluntarily, honest review of it.
When I was a child, we spend every summer twee weeks at the beach for our holiday. So every summer I had something to look forward too. I had a lovely time there and this series (Angel Sands) remind me of that time in some way. The beach, the sea, the sun and the relax way of living. Every time I read a book in this series, it feels like going to a wonderful place to spend time with friends at the beach and see how they are doing. A place that you want to revisit every summer because it’s a lovely place to spend some time.
If you have read all the books in this series (like I did) then you have met Griff Lambert many times in the previous stories as a secondary character. Being Lucas’s best friend, Griff was present from the very beginning of the series. I got to know him as an easy, happy guy, someone with no worries or stress. A very good friend and someone who spends most of his time in the sea (surfing) or on the sea (as a captain of a whale excursion boat). To be completely honest, in my mind I had him categorize as a sort of hippie, someone who just breezes through life as a free bird.
So when I discovered that ‘Pieces of us’ was Griff’s story I was very excited about that! Because for some time now I had been very curious about the woman that would steal his heart. Autumn’s character was a bit of a surprise to me, I never expected Griff to fall for a businesswoman but then Griff’s character also managed to surprise me here!! Because in this story I got to see a different side of him, I discovered that he had a deeper level in him too and that he wasn’t as carefree as I thought. That he had issues from his childhood and that they were part of the reason that he had that carefree attitude towards life. I found it a very interesting discovery. But don’t worry, Griff is still a big teddy bear too. I can totally understand that Autumn felt for him.
Autumn was a totally ‘new’ character, someone not born in Angel Sands. No, she’s from New York. I liked Autumn very much. She fitted right into Angel Sands and his people. At first glance, you would think that Autumn and Griff were totally opposite of each other but they weren’t, they were just perfect for each other. You could feel the chemistry between them from the beginning and I loved how their relationship went from strangers to friends and from friends with benefits to much more. I really liked the flow of the story and the developing of their relationship. They were perfect for each other and just like in many romance stories the only two persons who didn’t realize this where the main characters themselves. I enjoyed the story very much, it was a sweet and light read. And I loved the fact the writer gave us an epilogue!! And what a fantastic epilogue that was. The perfect end to this story.
Again we got both POV’s in the story and it was wonderful to see all the characters from the previous books again and to read how everyone was doing.
I can’t believe that ‘Pieces of us ‘ is already the sixth book in the ‘Angel Sands’ series!! I have read all the books in this series and I have enjoyed each one in it. The writer Carrie Elks created a lovely, wonderful series and each book is centered around the small beach town ‘Angel Sands’ and his inhabitants. All the books are light and sweet reads and the focus it isn’t only on love but also on friendship. So although you can read each book as a standalone, if you start from the beginning, you can appreciate the friendship in each story much more. There is little drama in the stories but that doesn’t mean that the stories are boring. No! Because the ‘couple’ in each book does have their own problems but it’s told in a light way but still with a lot of emotions. Each book also has a few sex scenes in it. If you are looking for a light, sweet read for the summer then I would recommend this series.
I just loved this story. And Griffin will you marry me hi hi:)?
I have been waiting for Griffin’s romance for a looooong time And Carrie Elks certainly didn’t let me down. He was everything I expected him to be. He is a big tall muscular man with a huge heart. He is the captain of a boat that takes people whale watching and he is also a surfer. His childhood was unfortunately really bad with parents who only paid attention to each other and their yelling and fighting and forgot all about him. So he has big commitment issues and he is afraid of being left behind and forgotten. Autumn is a great counterpart to Griffin’s character. She is a real estate agent who owned a business with her ex husband but sold her part of it to him in the divorce. She has felt controlled by her father, ex husband and New York City. But now since she bought the pier in Angel Sands she decides to move there for a while and see if she wants to keep it or sell it again. She has always been a people pleaser and hates to let people down. She also learned from the divorce to talk things through and think things through before believing everything she is told.
Griffin and Autumn has the sweetest meet cute on the pier where he sings “Baby shark” over the phone to his godson Arthur just as she steps onto the pier for the first time. I loved it We meet his friends from the former 5 books and how their relationships has evolved and this little group of friends opens up to Autumn right away and bits her welcome to the town with open arms.
I really can’t wait for the next book in the series and I was so right when I guessed who the hero and heroine would be so I want to read it now;).
I can definitely recommend this book.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I have been looking forward to Griff’s story pretty much since the first time I read the very first book in the series. I had no idea that there were the kinds of hidden depths we see in this book behind his happy-go-lucky surfer-boy attitude. And some of those deep dark places broke my heart. I love that like her maybe/maybe-not ancestor, Autumn arrived in Angel Sands looking for a fresh start. And like it did for that long-ago captain, the town offered her a safe haven. One that provided new friends, peace, and a chance to discover who she wanted to be without other people telling her what to do and how to do it. (I apologize in advance if the following gets a little spoiler-y. I’m keeping it as vague as possible to prevent that, but please be warned…) The only issue I had with the story was that when the inevitable chaos ensues, it felt to me a lot like ‘victim-blaming’ when everyone points out why Griffin was wrong. Especially the people who know his history and should understand why he reacted the way he did. That didn’t sit quite right with me. However, I really like that they both apologize to one another for everything that caused the mess and open up a little more about the histories that brought them to that point. And, like with every book in the series before this, the ending is a spun-sugar treat of utter sweetness. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book through Booksprout.
When Divorcee Autumn Paxton buys the pier in Angel Sands she finds herself living in and loving this quaint beach town. She also finds herself falling for Captain Griff, the long drink of water that immediately captures her attention. And vice versa. I loved being back in Angel Sands and I've longed for Griffin Lambert's story, as the town surfer god and breaker of hearts.
Carrie Elks delivers a delightful story about love and second chances. About two people giving over to their attraction and taking the chance for a meaningful relationship. The connection between them is sexy and sweet, I saw their introduction as a meet-sexy because the attraction is immediate and undeniable. There are a few heartstopping moments, and a little drama from a well-meaning but interfering father.
This is a quick and heartfelt story and one I happily recommend.
*I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review*
More than ever, I want to move to Angel Sands and find me a big, butch surfer who's in touch with his feelings and emotions. Pieces of Us is a gorgeous tale of two people so broken by their pasts, they feel they don't deserve the happiness being with one another will bring them. Both Griff and Autumn are wonderfully complex characters who just work together completely. Add in all the side characters, some we know, some who are new, and this series is well rounded and full of life. I say it every time, but this is my favourite so far. And I'm guaranteed to say it about the next one too.
Ever since I first read about Griffin in one of the other books in the Angel Sands series, I knew his story was one I would love. There was just something about the handsome, aquaman like, commitment- scared good guy that really me wonder about his story. And luckily for me, I loved the story of Griffin and Autumn right from the start.
Griffin has had a hard time growing up. Being a kid, and having parents that seem to care about anything but themselves? I can’t even imagine. And luckily his past didn’t make Griff a hard or unkind person. The only thing is that he doesn’t believe in love. But who would after the childhood he had? But from the moment he saw New Yorker Autumn on the Pier in the Angel Sands, he was mesmerized by her beauty and kindness.
Autumn is used to hard working and pleasing everyone around her. There is rarely time for her to do more than working and pleasing others. But when her loveless marriage ends in disaster she finds herself buying a Pier and moving to Angel Sands. At least for a little while. Autumn’s life has always been fast paced and busy. And being in Angel Sands and meeting some of the people who life there, she realizes there is much more to life. And when she meets the handsome Griffin, she is instantly attracted to him. But they come from totally different world, and there are many reasons why they shouldn’t work.
Carrie Elks definitely did it again. I loved ‘Pieces of Me’. From the moment I started reading I loved the two main characters Griffin and Autumn. They have this connection right from the start, and I really loved them. They start out as friends, and soon find themselves feeling more and more for each other. And I really enjoyed getting to know them.
Just as in the previous books in this series, characters from the previous books in this series make their appearance. And I loved that! You really don’t have to read any of the other books in this series, to understand this book.. but the fact that I know the stories of these characters is just so fun.
I loved the setting of the small town Angel Sands, and I really can’t get enough of it. So I was super excited to read there will be another book in the series about Lydia, Autumn’s little sister and Jackson, Griffin’s friend. I can’t wait to read that book too.
If you’re looking for a fun, romantic, small town, perfect summer time read.. ‘Pieces of Me’ is perfect for you.
With each new book in this series, Carrie Elks makes me wish the town of Angel Sands were real and I could visit. This time, we see the town through the eyes of newcomer Autumn Paxton.
After finalizing her divorce and celebrating with her sister, she wakes up having made a drunken purchase. Of a pier. On the other side of the country. Deciding to follow through on it, she leaves her life in New York City behind and (temporarily) moves to California. She takes stock of her new property and its tenants, and sets out to find a way to turn the somewhat rundown pier prosperous again.
One of the first people she meets is Griff Lambert, who runs the whale watching cruise from the pier. There’s an immediate attraction, but since he’s her tenant and she’s only recently divorced, she’s reluctant to explore what could be. They have a few friendly encounters, but it takes some encouragement from her sister for Autumn to decide she might have a casual fling with Griff. He’s all for it, because he’s insanely attracted to her, but isn’t looking for a commitment.
Their first evening together in this new regard is hot, let me tell you! I envision Griff a bit like Jason Momoa, minus the tattoos and ax-throwing, the way some of the girls also describe him as Aquaman. Can’t go wrong there! Oh, and can I just say that I also really enjoyed the surfing lesson? I think we’d all like a teacher like Griff! Anyway, it won’t be a surprise when their chemistry sizzles off the pages.
It was fun seeing all the familiar characters from the previous books. They are all very welcoming to Autumn, and she soon finds herself a part of this group of friends. She actually gets to discover sides of herself she didn’t even know, and is pleasantly surprised when she likes it. Her father and ex-husband are another story entirely, though. They’re so stuck in their ways of corporate ruthlessness, they don’t even realize that they’re effectively gaslighting Autumn.
For all his bravado and laidback attitude, Griff hides a lot of hurt, and he can’t really help it when his insecurities rear their ugly heads. I wanted to hug him while at the same time smack him for jumping to conclusion. Thankfully, he has some really good friends to talk some sense back into him.
I very much enjoyed revisiting this small town of endless summer and unconditional friendship, and can’t wait for the next installment in the series!
No relationship, no promises. Just an old-fashioned friends-with-benefits arrangement…
I have waited patiently for Griff's story.. the rugged surfer who always seemed to be o the sidelines while his friends found their girl and settled down.
Griff hadn't wanted to commit, was happy with casual, and from a past experience didnt mix work and pleasure, so why was the new girl in town Autumn Paxton causing these strange feelings whenever he saw her.
Carrie Elks writes 3rd person so well, a style I normally veer away from, that you can see deep inside Griff and fall in love with his vulnerability, feel his pain of a childhood spent with no love and understand his fear of commitment.
He sees his friends happy and settled, yet thinks he isn't deserving of the same happiness.
Autumn Paxton following her divorce bids for Angel Sands' pier while drunk one evening and wakes up the next morning to probably one of the biggest 'mistakes' she's made (apart from marrying her ex-husband). Normally calm, rational and with an astute business mind, what will she do with a pier!
Arriving in Angel Sands actually brings her a peace that she didn't know she needed and I don't blame her, throughout this series I have fallen in love with Angel Sands myself and would love to move there..if only it and the people were real - even though Carrie Elks makes you fully believe they are !!
When she sets eyes on Griff her heart and body do strange things (yeah Autumn, mine would too!!) and she is knocked off kilter by her feelings as they begin a friends with benefits kind of arrangement.
Of course, things never run smooth and I would expect no less from Ms. Elks - she takes us over a few bumps in the road, around a few twisty corners, close to the edge on a precarious mountain drive, and put my heart in my mouth a few times, bringing me to even shed a few tears at others !! Will they/won't they get the happy they both deserve.. you'll have to read it to find out!!
Carrie Elks is a phenomenal author, I've read every book she has written and I would one click her books without hesitation.
I was given this book in turn for an honest review.
When Autumn and Griff meet, they can feel an instant pull to each other. Both having sworn off having a relationship, they fight the attraction, until denying the temptation is no longer an option.
I loved Pieces of Us, it is an emotional, heart breaking and heart-warming in equal measure, beautiful story. Carrie Elks has written Griff’s story brilliantly, there is much more to Griff than you imagine from reading the other books in the Angel Sands series. I was hooked from start to finish, and I did not want to put this book down! Dare I say, it has to be the best book in the Angel Sands series so far, and this series is brilliant. I cannot get enough of these characters or Angel Sands.
I adored both Griff and Autumn, both with a past that had shaped the way they gravitated through life, both helping the other to see a different perspective to life, one where they could have all they had dreamed of and more.
This story has a few turns of events, some will have you holding your breath, some will bring tears to yours eyes, with heartache and with happiness. This story keeps you on your toes throughout, leaving you wondering where the story is heading. There were a couple of turns that I did not see coming, which added to the emotion of the story for me. One of my top reads for 2020 without any doubt!
Although Pieces of Us can be read as a standalone, to get the full enjoyment of this series, I recommend reading them in order. The Angel Sands series and Pieces of Us are perfect for contemporary romance readers, you will not be disappointed!
Griff has surfed in & out of the other Angel Sands books, but we haven’t learned much about him. In Pieces of Us we finally get his story. Griff quietly runs boat trips from the old pier in Angel Sands. He has terrific friends in his life, but having emotionally distant parents seems to have turned him into a man that doesn’t feel worthy & capable of love. He likes his female companionship with no promises or commitments involved. When newly divorced Autumn buys a rundown California pier while under the influence of tequila, it puts her on a very different path from the one she’s been on in New York. Having sold her half of a successful NYC real estate business to her ex, she heads west to try to make something of her impulse purchase. She’s always tried her best to please her exacting father, but is ready to get away from his opinions & influence for a while. When Griff & Autumn meet, there’s instant chemistry. As different as they are, they genuinely like one another. These are two people who really deserve someone to like & appreciate them just for who they are. Enjoyed reading an ARC of this fun story about friends w/chemistry, that become friends w/benefits, that become much more. Griff & Autumn were worth the wait!
A trip to Angel sands is like meeting up with old friends, it always leaves you feeling the happy vibes that Carrie Elks creates ,with her vast array of characters , it's home from home , you're transported to an idyllic setting with a close community surrounding you and wrapping you up with warmth and humour.
I've been eagerly awaiting Griffs story. I wasn't disappointed either! Autumn is perfect for him, they say opposites attract and these two positively sizzled with their chemistry.
After getting drunk with her sister Lydia , following signing the completion papers on her divorce, Autumn awakes with a blinding hangover to discover that she's the new owner of a Pier the other side of the country from New York City .
Neither Griff or Autumn are looking for a serious or commited relationship , but cannot deny their attraction for each other. To stay friends with benefits suits them both , but feelings can deepen and they both must overcome painful past experiences before they can move on.
This was such a heartwarming read and I was quickly drawn into the storyline. I didn't want to put it down once I'd started it. It was read in one sitting and I'd finished it within a few hours. I thoroughly recommend it. I received an ARC from the author and voluntarily leave this review. All thoughts are my own and unbiased.
Can someone please show me the way to Angel Sands??? With a seaside town setting that sounds so idyllic, with it's beautiful pier and beaches to the eligible hot men just waiting there to find love, i'm so ready to pack up my stuff and move there! Even though this is now book 6 of this series I approach each story as though it's the first because each one has given me the same exciting feeling of when you first start reading a brand new series, it always feels fresh and different and not just a continuation of a long running story, yes we still get to catch up with the other previous characters but it's easy to read each book as though it's a standalone with no connection to anything else. Griff and Autumn's story is a heartfelt romance about two people that have been hurt so much in the past that it's made them afraid to love, but neither can they both deign or help feeling the physical chemistry that they have for each other. It's an emotional time for them both on so many levels, giving others opportunity to try and meddle in their relationship. Carrie Elks has written another wonderful romance that can only be a credit to this already well established series and I just can't help wanting to be swept away there to live amongst it's characters in the warm California sun.
I loved being able to return to Angel Sands and read Griffin and Autumn's story, and to catch on the characters from the previous books.
Griffin is a happy-go-lucky guy who has his own business and loves surfing. He's been burned before by dating someone from the pier so when he meets Autumn and feels an attraction to her, he tries to keep from getting involved with her.
Autumn is recently divorced and ready for a change of pace. A trip across the country to see the pier that she bought (while drunk) could be just what the doctor ordered - especially when she meets the whale boat captain. While she has no plans to start a relationship, she wouldn't mind some no strings attached fun. But is that possible?
I couldn't help but fall in love with Griffin. He didn't have the best family life growing up but did have some close friends and Lucas's mom to help him out. It never ceases to amaze how things that happened when we were young can have such an impact on us as an adult. And Autumn has her challenges with finding her voice where the men in her life are concerned. I just loved how the story progressed and can't wait for Lydia and Jackson's story.
When Autumn’s marriage ended she knew that it would bring changes into her life but she could never have expected how many. While inebriated she purchases a pier in Angel’s Landing so she leaves her life behind in NY to manage her new business, but Griffin was a surprise she wasn’t expecting.
Griffin didn’t have the family he deserved as a child so he has surrounded himself with a family of heart rather than blood, but romantic love is not part of his plans. He is a boat captain who enjoys the lifestyle that he is living but there is something about Autumn that calls to him on both an emotional and physical level.
Their lifestyles and backgrounds are very different and as their relationship progresses they learn a lot about each other but nothing more important than the power of love.
Healing Two Damaged Lives: By Korkoi - OMG! Griff and Autumn’s story is a combination of heartbreak and happiness, that you just can’t put down, once you start reading it. Autumn had lived a life of control for so long that, it took her a while to realise that her new life and friends were real. Griff on the other hand had been through a tumultuous childhood, so he thought what he felt for Autumn was unreal. Whilst this book is a standalone, I suggest you read books one to five of the Angel Sands Series to get to know the other characters in the story. I am really looking forward to reading Jackson and Lydia’s story and to see how Autumn and Lydia’s father reacts to his children moving to Angel Sands permanently. 🤪🤪🤪
I received a copy of this ARC and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
I honestly cannot get enough of this series. If Angel Sands actually existed I would be making arrangements to move myself there today. Small town romances are really something quite special and I really love Carrie’s version in fact I might like it the most!!! Griff and Autumn are such a wonderful couple. Their relationship is beyond romantic. They are both wary to start something serious as they each have their own pasts that still impact them presently. But reading them trying to overcome this together was simply beautiful. Carrie at the end of the book confirms who the next couple are and I honestly cannot wait. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book.
Love the Angel Sands series from the very first book. I honestly cannot get enough of this series.
This story was so good, I couldn't put it down until I finished. We finally have Griff’s story.
Autumn went through a nasty divorce and bought a pier in California. When she discovered what she had done, she thought it would be a good change of pace and scenery. So she got out of NY. Of course, her father couldn't accept that she could be happy not in NY.
What a lovely, well written story this one was! I loved it! It's sweet, funny and gives you all those warm fuzzy feelings you want from a good romance. Once you have picked it up and you won't want to put it down.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
A wonderfully written story of a small town romance. Carrie Elks quickly added herself to my favorite authors list and is one I know I'll love her stories. The characters are realistic, easy to love and feel like family. The story line flows smoothly from page to page and captivates the reader from the first word til the last word. A perfect read for the summer evenings while sit on your deck enjoying the soft breeze.

I love this Angel Sands series, it’s somewhere I’d love to live. This book is finally giving us Griff the gentle giant’s story. He had a rotten start in life, but Deenie taking him under her wing, and his great group of friends he’d survived the unloved feeling he got from his parents. Autumn ends up in Angel Sands after a bad divorce and a drunken purchase of the pier. Little did she know instead of a terrible mistake she might just have made the best decision of her life so far. It was great to catch up with all the characters of Angel Sands again. Another fab 5 star read.
So sweet and sexy. Griff has now become my favorite Elks' hero!!! Strong, vulnerable, kind, loyal, and patient.
As strong female leads are also something I favor, Autumn is also a new favorite for me! She has all of Griff's same qualities but, she's an open book. The two together are phenomenal.
I love the small town of Angel Sands and the close group of friends/family that the author has created there. Fast paced, emotional read.
An unlikely pair, friends with benefits arrangement, an aversion to relationships, a hard childhood, finding your own voice, hurdles, and more are what brings Griffin and Autumn together in this book. A well-written story with returning characters, lovable MCs and a HEA.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I loved reading this story because I not only fell in love with the characters, I fell in love with the town. The story itself is sweet, emotional, sexy, and romantic and the setting adds to it. I love the small-town feel that I get from this story. I could picture myself there. Griff and Autumn have amazing chemistry too and I could feel their emotions as I was reading.
Pieces of us Well Carrie Elks did it again she brought me into the series so easily, so much so I want to live there, everybody seems so sweet, such a friendly place to live. Autumn came from New York leaving the only life she’d ever known, she craved the acceptance of her dad who saw her as someone he would mould into a mini me. After a long drawn divorce her move rejuvenated her, changing her into the women she wanted to be. Griff was a gentle giant always feeling unwanted never knowing love found Autumn s a wonder, they seamlessly became a couple who were meant to be. A few dramas ensued ( no spoilers ) I would have loved to see Griff take her ex down a peg or too or to see him get his just what he deserved. A sweet read I would recommend.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this next instalment of the Angel Sands series. I loved going back and connecting with all the characters from the previous books and seeing how their lives were moving on. This is a warm-hearted romance, with a lot of heart and a little angst, but mostly just a well-written love story.
I really loved the character of Autumn, she is a businesswoman who has been burnt by life and love and is starting out on her own. Griff is a resident of Angel Sands, where Autumn moves to following her drunken purchase of the town's pier. These two are lovely, both been hurt but surviving despite that. I really enjoyed their characters, they were well developed and I really felt I knew them.
Angel Sands is one of those fictional towns I would love to visit and, in fact, from reading this series I almost feel I have been there now.
Although I did predict some of the storylines, this was not detrimental to my enjoyment of the story at all. I highly recommend you read all the Angel Sands stories, you won't be disappointed.
I just loved the Angel Sands books by this author,so I really enjoyed another full filled story. Autumn Paxton is eager to get on with her new life leaving her old one behind that she would rather forget. Then she clasp eyes on handsome Griff Lambert. Such a feel good fictional book you won't want to put down, perfect to curl up with with a beautiful story. Highly recommend not just pieces of us but the whole series.the love and passion that the author brings out in her books are just perfect from the start you definitely won't be disappointed.
It's finally Griff's turn! At first glance, Autumn may not be who you would expect Griff to be with but there is so much more to both of them than meets the eye!
Wow going back to Angel sands is so comforting, it's like putting on your favourite pj's and settling down for what you know will be a fab story.
This is the story of Griffin and Autumn, two people whose past makes them feel not worthy and their journey to getting there.
I loved the laid back vibe of the story and think that was down to the personality of both main characters, they were very chilled out people. There were enough twists and turns to keep you guessing but one of the beauty's of reading a Carrie Elks book is that you know there will be a happy ever after. This happy ever after leaves you with a big sigh and a smile. I for one, cannot wait to read Autumn's sister, Lydia and Jackson's story now. If you loved the other Angel Sands books then you will certainly love this one.
This story was so good, I couldn't put it down until I finished. Autumn went through a nasty divorce and bought a pier in California. When she discovered what she had done, she thought it would be a good change and get her out of NY and her ex. The first time she saw Griff, it was so cute. I loved that scene. She tried really hard to restart her life and she was liking what she was doing. Of course, her father couldn't accept that she could be happy not in NY. The characters were so likeable and I loved the whole book I have not been disappointed in any of Carrie Elk' books. Hopefully another will come out soon

I loved this book! It is the perfect Summer read and is beautifully written. The small, coastal town setting full of quirky, loveable characters is just adorable and makes you long for more books in this brilliant series. One of the things that makes this series so special is that the main characters are always so unique, with their own little foibles and history to overcome, on their path to true love. Just magical!
