Curses and Blood is the final book in the Dark files serie by Kim Richardson. I wasn't disapointed it was really good.
Sam tought she could take a break but she was really wrong. There's a new threat that could destroy magic and every magical being. She need to work fast to find out who's being it and to stop it before its to late.
I have received an arc of this book from the author.
I so love this author. Every book she writes is an adventure. I can't wait to explore more series. Kim Richardson has a magical pen that draws the readers in.
WOW! Curses & Blood is a very intense and utterly thrilling book from start to finish. I was on the edge of my seat with anticipation of what would happen next. There were so many surprises and twists that I was not sure how this story would end. And what a fantastic ending that was! Sam takes us on one hell of a rollercoaster ride of emotions, magic and utter mayhem!
Sam is an amazing, feisty, sassy, and very spirited woman, who has grown into a kickass witch! Faris and Logan are the perfect match to her snark and wit. The back and forth banter between these three left me in stitches from laughing so much at them and their antics. They are the perfect team and family together.
This book (and the whole series) is loaded with lots of laughs, magic, action and intrigue, with loads of demons, witches, and snarky council members that keep you captivated and highly entertained from the very beginning to the very end.
Absolutely amazing writing and storytelling that you don't want to ever end! Highly recommended the complete series and this amazing author.
The final book? in the exciting Dark Witch series certainly doesn't disappoint! Sam, Faris & Logan are in a fight against time to stop all magic from being destroyed forever & this side of the veil being invaded by all kinds of killer-demons from the Neverworld! Can our dynamic trio find the ancient book that holds the key to stopping magical Armageddon & survive to tell the tale. What happens to familiars Poe & Faris & will Sam & Logan's blossoming relationship continue to grow or perish! Lots of wonderful magical action & intrigue in abundance, together with a plethora of demons, witches, magic & excellent writing help to carry you on a fast-paced, first class urban fantasy journey you won't want to end! Highly recommended series & author.
I really love paranormal series. This is the fourth and final book of Kim Richardson's Dark Files series. It does not disappoint!! It can be read as a stand-alone, but there are many references to things that happened in the three previous books, so it is much better when the books are read in order. Book 1 is Spells & Ashes. Book 2 is Charms & Demons. Book 3 is Hexes & Flames. Book 4 is Curses & Blood, this one. As usual, the wonderful characters have another exciting paranormal mystery to solve, but then, surprisingly, a lot of loose ends are tied up before the book ends, which is fabulous since it is the last one in the series. However, there's always room for more....
**I received an ARC from the author and am VOLUNTARILY leaving my own honest review.**
I enjoyed this series it's set in the same world as other series of this Author so read angels first if you can but it's ok if you havent. this is focused on witches and demons plus a Angel (love interest) this was the best book of the four I felt for Sam so many times people accuse her of not being a great witch, her dad burned her in a fire when she was 8,poe leaves her breaking her heart on the same note (literally) has a note from her work not good, looks like Logan is pushing her away? Not to mention the demon that's bond to her only because he save Logan and helped her (thought Logan would of been more understanding after all he got him out) there is a HEA I think but don't angels live forever and witches age?
Loved it! Sam is having a rough time; her love life is on the rocks and the Court is playing games. The action keeps coming and the stakes ramp up in this latest book of witches and supernaturals. I love Sam. She is just a tough, snarky heroine and all round good gal. Richardson knows how to keep a story interesting and her characters are a wild bunch that I have become attached to. I really enjoyed the book. I received this book as an ARC and wished to leave a review.
With the way everything ended with book 3 I wasn't sure that there would be a book 4. But once again Kim Richardson did not disappoint. I've read many of her series now and this I think is my favorite. Sam is a dream female lead. She's got just enough snark to keep things fun and light.
I Really enjoyed this whole series & i’m Not sure if there’s anymore books planned for this series ‘cos it felt like it wrapped everything up & ended. It had everything, romance, magic, epic battles. A great read to lose yourself in.
This rocks seriously brilliant can stop reading have read whole series and now coming back to review and recommend. Enjoy. Ok now reading more of Kim’s books
This is another brilliant book in this series, I really like the main character and the world this is set in, I've read another series also set in this world so I know it well and I like that.
Not a bad ending though I wish there were more to it. Some storylines I felt were a little abruptly cut short to tie it all up. Faris is still my favourite out of them all. 😄
This is great, it starts and you see her struggle and she is getting used to her new familiar. Then Poe asked to be released, which is not a surprise. Sad, but she released him. I then she gets her wish in the end. She gets to start the life she actually wants. All the inner turmoil isn't for nothing. I love these books.

Books 1 and 2 were OK, books 3 and 4 were quite boring honestly. Not that much happened, nothing really kept my attention besides just wanting to get the series over with. Lots of loose ends, things that happened in previous books that never got mentioned again and/or had zero consequences.
