I am not a huge fan of romance genre but I really liked this book. I picked this book up by seeing cover and I am glad that I picked this up. This book consist of seven short stories based on romance genre. It’s difficult to discuss blurb of my favourite story as I like all of them. The very first one is drunk on love. The protagonist of that story is Anjali who belongs to conservative family. And he met Rajat. Second story “Miles Apart” is the story of Vaibhav and Nethra, as the title suggests it’s the story about the couple who lives in different cities. I loved the story Tarini.
If we talk generally, it’s a light read. Plot of the all stories are unique. The book is written in simple and easily understandable language so that everyone can enjoy reading it. I liked the way emotions are carved. It’s different that routine romance genre books. The author has shown all different shades of love too skill fully. Overall really good one. And recommended it from my side and especially to all who like romance genre.

Come fall in love with LOVE

JustRomance is a collection of short stories which revolves around only love. The best part of every story is that it has a happy ending and I loved the male protagonist the best all the time. I wish all boys are as sweet and caring as those in these stories.

Out of all the seven, I loved "Drunk on love" and "Dance of Fantasy" the most for which the main reason is in first story, the girl likes Dhoni and watches cricket only for him just like me while in the other story the girl's name is Mahi, so I connected to them the most. Though the common thing being the romance and pain but every story is unique.

I loved the way the author presented the stories making them interesting and the character description is just fantastic.
Five stars for the cover and the stories but I felt the title could have been more creative.

Apart from that, a very good read for all the romance lovers.

Drunk on love

"And in the end, we were all just humans.. drunk on the idea that love, only love, could heal our brokenness.”

This is the story of traditionally grounded Anjali from a very orthodox family of Vrindavan. She is the first girl in her family to move the city and take up a job in Gurugram. Here she meets Rajat who is poles apart to the partner she dreams about. But Rajat loves her as she is. Will this story have a happy end?

Miles apart

"No matter where you are, I know you are holding my hand, and everything will be all right."

Vaibhav a rich casino who tries to control his heart after a breakup. For professional reasons he visits his company's Coimbatore branch. There he meets Nethra. Nethra martyr's daughter, disciplined and soft. Vaibhav couldn't stop himself from loving her, but will Nethra reciprocate him feelings?

O Teri!

"Success feels very empty if you have nobody to celebrate it with."

Preet a strong, educated and independent woman who loves her profession and plans to give all her time and strength to develop her company. But her family to marry and move in life, so she meets her proposals and normally reject them. One day she meets Jeet as a proposal. Jeet is someone she struggles to reject. Will Preet successfully reject Jeet?

Dance of fantasy

"I tasted heaven when Wind came through the sky and took me in his arms, and then I danced all through the night."

Nahi a sweet rich girl, but there's something she desires as she couldn't find in her house. Prajwal a superstar, he has everything success, glamour, beauty, money.. everything. Yet he doesn't have that one thing what he desires the most. This is a beautiful story which explains - Life’s happiness does not depend on what you have, but who you have.

Tarini

"What do you do? Mistakes."

This is the story I love in this collection. A magical mystery or a mysterious magic what shall I say about it.. the first thing that arrested me in the story is the name - Saryu.

I guess I love you

In this bit there's two love stories, both are equally beautiful with a touch of pain. Aarav - RB and Amol - Reegal with a cute Cupid Shivi.

It's in the books

This is cute to see how love grows with time if you try to hold and grow it. A sweet story of Akul and Vidhya wherein Vibhor becomes their secret holder. Cute.

PS : I love two stories in this book Tarini acts the other Is in the books.

#Insight-
I wouldn't call it the best cover but yeah it catches gaze. Title is a weak one which gives a vague idea about the kind of stories. Surely Romance is now a multidisciplinary genre in itself.
I didn't have huge expectations from the book but ohh Girl !!!(author) Jyoti Arora you pasted a smile on my face all through the seven stories.
I have been receiving Anthology book a little more often this month. Which set my bar low for anthologies but on contrary I found
'Just Romance' is seriously a boredom breaker.

#Review-
I'm niether capable of giving slightest ideas of any of the stories or their characters they are wide ranged and describing it will only be either a waste or a spoiler. I'm afraid to deliver either but I can say unequivocally that while reading any of the stories you won't feel that the characters have landed from Mars or are non-existent people. Jyoti as an author have tried her best to portray her characters from all section of society with their aspirations and challenges.
So much so that it will make you compare your own love story to these stories.
Her character description is at its best and that what I guess have made all the difference.
She haven't lost track in describing and keeping the story at a pace with side description of character and scenarios which may have given the direction to the behavior of the her characters or the scenario they are presently in.
Plot are of adequately length so that they only touch the best part of love and romance out of the lives of her characters.
I didn't feel bored at any point which is credible work.

#Genre- Anthology/ short love stories

#Target audience- Young adults will surely love the varied stories. It may touch or will look inspired from your own.

#Similar books- Iztiraar , Sifar by Akash rumade

Are you in the mood to read cute little love stories? Do you want to read some book which is short yet entertaining? Are you looking for a book to take you out of your reading slump? Then you have stumbled upon the right book.
The title of this book does not do justice to the treasures that lay inside. I received this book for review and did not expect much. But I can't believe how pleasantly surprised I am.
This book contains 7 Short Indian love stories. All these stories are unique in their own way yet all of them feel realistic, like hearing my friends' love stories. I read one story at a time relishing each one of them. I did not try to rush through the book. All the stories are long enough to get you invested in them but short enough to not let you be bored from them.
Thank you, dear Author for giving these beautiful stories to the world. Thank you, for weaving out extra ordinary stories from the lives of ordinary people. Thank you, for giving us something to fall back on when sometimes we doubt love. And biggest Thank you for happy endings in all of these stories. Happy endings are comforting and this book gives you just that.
The writing is simple, language lucid and stories beautiful. The characters in the book are well placed and align perfectly with the stories.
This is the perfect book for evenings when you come home after a hectic day and are looking for an easy, happy read along with a warm cup of coffee.

Love is all we need, Right? after reading this book you will surely agree with me. Let's have a look what it is about.
Just Romance is a collection for 7 heart-warming love stories that will take you to a roller coaster ride of emotions, desires, friendship.
You raised a song in my heart

That I never knew before.

Now kiss me, Love,

For I yearn to know

What a dream must taste like.

All stories are of love-romance, all are based on basic daily life happinening to which a reader can somewhat relate. Love is like a charm which is added in everyone's life but slowly it becomes a threat if not taken accordingly. Each story comprises of emotions, adventures one . It is a soothing read.
Coming to the cover and the title of the book, the cover is dull it could be more attractive so the title is for me. I didn't had many expectations from this book. The plot is good and an engaging one. Next is the narration author has not done justice to all the stories as in some stories the character are not well-developed or you can say I didn't get many things in some stories. Overall is a one time read.

"Just Romance" is a dose of romance for everyone who likes romance as an emotion and even those who might not be a fan of it.
The book is a collection of 7 small stories which share 7 different ways to experience romance in your life.
There will be one or more instances where every reader will be able to relate. It has all hopes and dreams of a romantic heart.
The book will not at all disappoint you because you get to realize in how many ways love can come in your life and make it all rosy.
I would not say it shows only the best phases of love but it it definitely shows how one can experience in different situations and different ways.
As they are small stories, it would not be justified on my part to talk too much about them but one of my favorite was " Just Dance".The language used is very simple and every one who picks up this book can go through it enjoying it entirely. No matter what genre you like, you will not be putting it down once you start it.
So please go ahead and read it if you are considering it.

#JustRomance is a collection of short romances by Indian author Jyoti Arora. The author introduces the book with the words, ‘7 heart-warming love stories to make you smile.’ And indeed, the stories do make you smile. They are very simple, sweet, and cheerful stories featuring realistic characters in Indian setting. The stories have a unique Indian flavour. What I liked best about these stories is that they are not usual formula romances. All the romances in this book have excellent characterization, gripping emotions, and a polished writing style. And I love the book’s cover!

'Just Romance' as the title says is a collection of romantic seven short stories crafted really beautifully.
.
Each story here is formatted differently than previous ones. This is the first book by author and thus all the efforts she has put in here is totally appreciated. The cover looks so pretty and bright.
.
Author need to be more affirmative while writing the book. Though this was the short and subtle read it should've been little more crispy and detailed. I personally loved the story 'miles apart'.

Recommendable to those who love reading romance genre as you definitely will going to love this. Would love to read more by author.

Light, airy and refreshing

Well I am not a fan of romance fiction but I loved some of the stories here. It has been beautifully written, vastly descriptive in its descriptive tone.

Light, airy romances are a good read. They are dreamy, perfectly good endings in all of them. The English and the diction is nice, although at several places the tenses get misplaced. (But that is just me, very specific in grammar requirements)

Best of Jyoti yet again. Her style is very unique - simple and yet so graceful. Her characters are so close to life and have the same grey shades . Be it her woman characters, most of whom feel bound by societal norms and yet drawn to their love or her male characters who want happiness for their love even when she is not around - all characters are relatable. Just like her other books, when one starts reading this one, it is difficult to put it down. Emotions are stirred and provoked in every story. Must read

#qotd Do you like reading YA romance❓
#qotd Do you prefer reading about a single love story in a novel or many short love stories like an anthology ❓
#qotd Do you find nuance of teenagers or Young adults, when they are in love, adorable & cute or you despise them❓

Today's post is about a book (available @amazonkindle for INR 49/-) which contains 7 short, cute, adorable & very relatable Indian LOVE STORIES & is named #justromance, yes with a "hashtag"…!

Luxury adds glamour to romance,
Danger adds thrill.
But it is REAL EMOTIONS that turn love MaGiCaL.

This compendium beautifully reiterates the fact that even ordinary people can have extraordinary love stories.

The USP of this pot-pourri is the simple language, analogous characters, uncomplicated narration, realistic story- line/ plot & clean romantic recitals.

Each story/ chapter begins with a quote or few beautiful lines, giving way to the story.

Let's talk about 1 such romantic love story;
Titled DRUNK ON LOVE.

It's about a girl named Anjali who breaks free from her shackles to move to a distant city, being the first girl in her family to get a job & live independently..all this even before getting married.
She has two younger sisters.. so whatever Anjali does will act as a road map for the younger siblings..
Anjali is relishing her freedom..at the same time she is a very sober, traditional girl.
The story is about, how she achieves another milestone in her journey to freedom by falling in love & eventually acknowledging & pursuing it towards marriage even though she is aware of the possible disagreement by her family.

Attempted in 249 pages, this book was published in October 2019.

"And in the end, we were all just humans drunk on the idea that love, only love could heal our brokenness..".

A wonderful compilation for people in love, for people who believe in love and especially for the young-adult reader.

Just romance is a collection of different love stories of seven different couples. Every story starts off with a quote. I'm not a fan of romance but I can still read it if the plot is interesting and the characters have chemistry. However since these were all short stories, there wasn't enough time for the plot to develop not that there was any interesting plot to begin with.

The problem with this book and the stories are the way they're written. There hasn't been done any attempt to make the narration strong or to make the characters relatable. They're all one dimensional. The author tells us their traits without ever giving the reader any evidence or even chance to explore the characters journey through their eyes and form an opinion for themselves. We've been informed first hand that the said character is good or plain or quiet which isn't the best way to tell a story. For example , in the first story, the first line says "Anjali is a good girl" which is enough to tell you that the author isn't providing us any back story or even telling us why she is a good girl. Maybe because she wear traditional clothes? Whatever the reason may be, it just fell flat and I couldn't find it in myself to continue reading through the monologues where we are introduced to different supposedly clean characters with a cliche love story.

The characters are stereotypical and underdeveloped. The story lines are not even minutely interesting and the narration is weak and lacks creativity. Reading this book feels like reading a long list of characters and circumstances that are unfolding, in bullet points.

I don't recommend this.
