A fun quick read. It does disturb me that Kayden is a cheating alphahole and that the omega lets him and Lisa get away with so much. It pisses me off. But this book has enough of a plot to keep me interested.

Well I didn't think it was possible to love Kayden more than I already did, but I do. He purrs in this book *SWOON*. Not only does he purr, but he does it a lot. So hot. I'm sure I sound like a total weirdo right now, but I don't care. It is hot AF and I'm here for it. Things don't get any easier for him or Chloe in this book. Which is OK with me. The Omegaverse is a treacherous place to be. I can't wait to revisit it again!

You may wonder how I can give a book only 4 stars when I was the editor, but allow me to explain. It’s well written, and hopefully free from errors, the plot is compelling, the characters are complex, and it has all of the necessary elements, but I didn’t like what happened. I still don’t particularly like Kayden (maybe I will in the next one cause I think he’s improving), and I don’t quite understand Chloe, although I do like her. I’m allowing my emotions to dictate the number of stars I give this review, but aren’t all reviews really subjective anyway? There’s nothing Laxmi could have done differently to make me like it more, other than changing Kayden into a more likable character, and that would make it a completely different story. I’m not suggesting she should do that. I believe other people will love this story. It’s a bit dark and Kayden is often mean to Chloe and I find it difficult to get past that. Others will find his darkness intriguing and his redemption (which I’m sure will occur eventually) that much sweeter. Personally, I’m too old (and impatient) to be attracted to men who are so psychologically damaged, so although I feel sorry for Kayden, I really want him to overcome his inner demons so he can be a better mate to Chloe because I like her. When Kayden allows himself to acknowledge that he doesn’t deserve her, he’s right. I’d tell her to walk away...and stay away. Since that’s not likely, I’m rooting for his redemption.

Chloe got her REVENGE (I'm so happy!) But at what cost?

The story Continues..
Wow, a lot happens in this one, you've to read it to feel it! I loved the kai in this book, the one who isn't ruled by his revenge but his love❤ (we also get to see his past.. i Hate Golan so much👹)

Vikings have kidnapped Chloe for the same reason Kayden had (to trade with Zeus *sigh*), I'm relieved that Kayden is alive!

“I hate these alpha for thinking that they can ruin my life.”
I feel her.. poor girl.. She's become a pawn in those alpha's power-hunger..

Sensing her in danger, helpless, Kai finally realise his growing feelings for her(yay!)
He saves her (or was it Talon's plan?), Brings her to his Haven & Wants to have a relationship with her...

“This time do it all for her. Focus on her. Her needs. Her.”

But then her betrayal comes..
“I wanted to trust you, to share my life with you but your betrayal changed that. I tried to leave you.. I did. But the mating bond connects us. We're stuck with eachother.”

It seems like her being kidnapped was Zeus's plan *snicker* (so like him😂)

But their connection keeps growing & she wants his trust, for their baby..(That he Can't sniff out, it's weird! How oblivious kai can be..?)

“I thought I was taking her by force when all along she was creeping into my heart.”

She saw him in a compromising position (I'm sick of his fucking tests of himself! *Huff*) unbeknownst to him, & hence, while he gave her his heart, his love (finally!), She brought Talon to him..
She had her REVENGE, but then why does her heart hurts?

Talon is the son of the old Viking leader, well.. at least he has a conscience..

the book ended on a very heavy note, now kai is kidnapped (knowing that he's gonna be a dad😅), Zeus has finally found her (he got help😏 Dom!) & It looks like Kai's rescue is in order!)

NO. God, no. What was this nonsense?! I barely got through the first book about Kayden & Chloe and I will not put myself through this any longer. What the hell did I read? It felt like the author completely lost sight of her plot or story because it was so convoluted! It was confusing so much of the time. One person said one thing in a convo to Kayden at the beginning of the book only for the same person to say the exact same thing and explain everything AGAIN to Kayden towards the end and the fucker acts surprised? As if he didn't get told this earlier? What????

And what was with the mess between Kayden and Chloe?!?! She hates him. She doesn't want him. She's supposedly preggo but doesn't tell him, thinks if he's her true mate he should sense it when she herself hadn't?? Okayyy! And Kayden, WTF! He was allllllll over he spectrum. Asshole, slave master, sadist, sweetheart, wittle lost boy etc. Make up your mind! And literally every five minutes someone's propositioning Chloe to distract Kayden so they can attack or kidnap him and this dumb ho agrees? 🙄🙄🙄🙄

And Kayden saying shit in his head about not believing in "emo shit" um no. Immature writing.

I could rant on sooo much more but it's not worth it. God what a mess. There was no structure to the plot at all. The writing and scenes felt disjointed and didn't flow. The author lost all direction and then the author just introduced random info that has an impact on the characters relationship whenever she wanted and it was so out of the blue.

Just when I thought Chloe was going to be a submissive Omega, she proves me wrong! Laxmi Hariharan has a strong woman there, determined and at the same time possessive. Now stuck in a relationship with a man she can't resist who does his utmost best to resist her, she finds herself in a bind. What will be next? Vikings, kidnapping, revenge, guilt, it is all here in this action packed story. And the passion between Chloe and Kayden cannot be missed! No matter what they want to think, it is there. Ending on a cliffhanger, I want to queue up the next audio and will be watching for it's release.

Tor Thom and Charley Ongel continue their narration of the series. I am amazed at the talent these two are putting out with the Russian and Scottish accents. Easily flowing between characters, they bring all the characters to life and add their own chemistry to the mix. Another amazing performance.

The need for revenge and get back what was his, had Kayden struggling hard with his feelings for his Omega. Mistakes, rage, misunderstanding, name it and it was plaguing Kayden. There is no denying that his father made a number on him. Chloe had tried everything and still hadn't gotten Kayden to accept his feelings for her. Burdened with guilt by a situation she had been unable to control, she felt that she had been used, betrayed and unable to control her life. But, a turn of fate presented her with an opportunity to strike back and get hold of her life and without further thinking, she went for it. What a twist! Chloe's sinking hole was getting bigger! They took one step forward and two steps back. I was intrigued with Talon’s character and his comment about the Omega. The cliffhanger didn’t surprise me. After all that was expected. Action, suspense, strong emotions, intrigue, betrayal, violence, misunderstandings and lot of heated passion. I like these stories that shake my head, make me think and make me comment on the characters choices.

The Omegaverse is simply a supremely delicious place for readers to visit. I love the imagination, and sexy heat, that’s the keystone here. So now we get to Kara and Caden’s stand-alone story in Laxmi Hariharan’s Surrender to the Alpha (Knotted Omega Book 5) and it will definitely leave you panting. This is wonderfully delicious paranormal romance with a totally yummy alpha and a strong sexy heroine. It’s truly well written (as is expected with this author) and has a wonderfully crafted cast of characters (come to think of it, that’s also as I’d expected). Really easy to highly recommend this one.

This book is classified as Omegaverse, and is book six of the connected series. It does not have a trigger warning list.

The book is written in first person. This book has multiple point of views: Kayden and Chloe. Both of these characters are in book five.

I gave this book one star. Unfortunately, I ended up DNFing this book 14% through due to multiple reasons. First off, there was timeline jumps in the beginning that made absolutely zero sense, and the main female character's name change. Instead of Chloe, it changed to Cara and that made no sense whatsoever and made it even more confusing.

His choices and pride may take everything from him. In this dystopian omegaverse, Kayden is an alpha to the extreme. Chloe is the omega he has taken and claimed. He uses her but doesn’t see what she is to him. Chloe is smart and won’t bend but he body has a different view. The story gets more intense and makes you want to scream at the characters and love them at the same time. Has some very alpha/omega scenes that get very hot. Not the end of the story and will have to wait for the next book to see what happens next.

Incredible chemistry

Kayden and Chloe find themselves in a sticky situation at the beginning but they find their way. Due to their issues they have a lot of miscommunication and suffer needlessly. They grow to love each other but ultimately can’t be honest with each other and continue to betray each other. There’s a lot of darkness and sometimes more pain than love. The story ends on a major cliff.

I have a different take on Kayden and Khloe. Kayden is an alpha male and is afraid of loving Khloe. She. However with the help of her sister, Lucy and Zeus have set Kayden up. She also works with the Viking to set him up and he was shot right after he found out she was pregnant with his child. I hope in the book coming in June, that Kayden lives and they not only find each other, but have forgiveness on both sides.

Cliffhanger, Rough Kinky Sex, and Tiny Women w/ Gigantic Men

I love Zeus and Lucy’s story, but Kayden and Chloe not so much.

Not a fan of either character and ended up being a turn off.

I did finish the book and like the other books leaves a bit of a cliffhanger. This will be it for me. I’m done. I so dislike Kayden & Chloe (more Kayden) that I don’t even care how the underlying story ends anymore.

THE FIRST BOOK I READ, I ENJOYED IT BUT HERE IT JUST SEEMED LIKE A MESS. THE HERO WAS EMOTIONALLY ALL OVER THE PLACE...IT WAS A LITTLE HARD TO SWALLOW DOWN.

KAYDEN like I mentioned before has Daddy issues, so in this installment he's still battling his inner demons, remembering the moment in time when he was a boy trying hard to protect his mother but in the end, she was killed by his own sire. Can't imagine why he would want to love now, can you? Well, this 'episode' begins with Kayden rescuing Chloe back from Talon, since she's been abducted in the ending of the previous book. It also focuses mainly on Kayden and Chloe's relationship that is still going nowhere until the ending where Kayden finally accepts that he's in love with his mate. LOL. By then she's already made the decision to leave him. WHAT NOW?!

CHLOE's character here doesn't ring a bell to me...I honestly can't remember much from the previous story except for their first meeting and first kiss, and first sex. It was hot then, but now seems tedious. Chloe reminds me of watered down wine, she doesn't sparkle any longer and I'm not captivated. She's still meek and at moments I thought she'd truly fight back but I guess I should applaud her for leaving Kayden at the end of the story, EXCEPT I found her decisions and even Kayden's to be abysmal to the point of silly. Why can't they just talk things out? Oh wait, it's because Kayden's too fucking stubborn and Chloe's a slave to her Omega instincts.

OVERALL I will say that I'm a little disappointed that the story hasn't HIT OFF, and seems like it's still stuck below ground. Sadly, I don't think it will get better in the next installation but for the sake of finishing the story, I look forward to the next one.
