Harmony makes no excuses for who she is or what she’s done. For the past few years she’s been living as a club girl for the Brothers by Blood MC. The club girls are there for a purpose - to cook, to clean and to keep the men happy. She respects the club, respects the men and she follows the rules. Watching the men walk in and out of her life is strangely comforting, and a feeling she’s grown accustomed to. With a history of disappointments and false promises, all she wants is to have fun, play music and finish college. Being associated with the club, she can do that without having to risk her heart. That was until he showed up.

When Kit's father stepped down as president, he took the title with pride. The Brothers by Blood MC is his family, his home. Deciding to celebrate his new title with his brothers from a neighboring chapter, the last thing he expected was to find Harmony - a club girl with all the makings of a perfect old lady. The stunning blonde is beautiful, strong and fiercely independent. Harmony refuses to lower the walls she’s created around her heart, but the fire inside her and her love for the club fuel his need to have her by his side, and on the back of his bike.

When Harmony’s safety is threatened, Kit is determined to do whatever it takes to protect her and prove that she can trust him. But after a lifetime of broken promises, will it be enough?

I think if you were to analyse this book too closely there would be some serious eye rolling going on....but really it is,what it is....Biker erotica.

Harmony is a club Whore. She makes no apologies for it.She is happy with her life...she is studying Music, which she loves and is happy with the protection the MC life offers her.Unlike other club Whores she is not interested in belonging to just one man...

Enter Kit,who has other ideas. He is the new President of a Chapter of the same club.He sees her, wants her and all bets are of concerning other men and he pretty much 'claims' her on sight (Que the eye rolling ).So,yes,it was insta lust/love but the way it was written was actually quite plausible.

As is the norm with these books there's a side story going on which actually worked very well ( and, thank god,not the usual club rivalry)
Kit was the stereotype Biker..sexy,stompy,growly ( I don't even know if they're real words but I'm sure you get me!)
I actually really liked Harmony, she was what she was and wasn't ashamed of it.

With so many of these MC series out there it's getting harder and harder for them to hold my attention but even though I've only given this 3 stars I will definitely be reading the next one.Optimus and Chelsea's story next, and I LOVED them !!

Not as dark and gritty as I normally like these books to be,but still enjoyable.
Recommended if you like MC BOOKS on the softer side....

TITLE: Harmony
SERIES: (The Club Girl Diaries)
AUTHOR: Addison Jane
GENRE: Contemporary Romance
RELEASED: May 30th 2015
MY RATING: 4.5 STARS

This is the first time I have read anything by this author before, but definitely won't be the last because I really want to read the next book in this series (Optimus & Chelsea)..This took me by surprise by the uniqueness to the story which kept me glued to my iPad throughout the whole book..I have read biker after biker book and not once have I read it from a club bunnies pov and that is what I liked most about this book, and which stuck out above the rest, it wasn't dark, or gritty as such either, I also liked the fact that I connected with the female character and got into her head, her perspective of club life, why she lived the life style she did..

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

The life of a club girl wasn't all sunshine and rainbows. We had to deal with criticism and judgements. We were here to make the men happy. In my mind I was more than a whore. I enjoyed making these men happy..

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Definitely A unique well thought out story..what I also found really refreshing was the fact she was a non Virgin ( praise the lord) all sexual acts were with consenting adults, she's sassy, sexy, and above all else a tough talking club whore..(yes)!!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Sorry to any viewers if the teaser above offends you but it is only an asssss u can't see anything else..

Club Girl Rule Number One: Love the club
Club Girl Rule Number Two: Respect the brothers and the brothers will respect you.
Club Girl Rule Number Three:Stay out og the way of old ladies way

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Old Ladies are cherished, they are honored, and are held to the highest of respect within the club, they are family.

KIT ~ I didn't have an old lady for a reason. There were certain characteristics I needed the woman at my side to have. It was essential for her to be strong and opinionated, but she also needed to know that I was in charge and when she should back down. I wanted a woman who would challenge me, but that would accept the rules that I place within my club and my home are there for the protection of my family, I saw all of these things in her

Harmony is happy to be at the disposal of the club men, whatever is asked of her she's happy to comply, so from that aspect of the story this is different, basically putting it crudely she's a club whore and she's ok with that..

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

KIT ~ Watching her on that damn stage had my dick straining uncomfortably against my jeans. The bitch was hot. More than hot. F*cking scorching.

She likes being a club girl, as long as they give her free board and a roof over her head, time to study at the local college she couldn't ask for anything more in life..She respects the club, respects the men and follows the rules..

HARMONY ~ I have been with the Brothers by Blood for around three years since I was nineteen. It started with attending parties, hooking up with a few of the guys, and then before I knew it I was moved in and living at the clubhouse.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

KIT ~ One day, I want you to be my Old Lady, and not because I want to own you and keep you locked away. But because an MC President needs an Old Lady that's strong, smart and loyal. We can do this at any pace you like baby. But with the strength, beauty and respect I see in you, I'm sorry but I won't let you slip by me without putting up a fight.

A club girl was someone who hung around with an MC - a motorcycle club and was there for the sole purpose of being a hole to f*ck.

We had to prepare ourselves for a war. It was coming. We could feel it in the air.

This is a different take on a MC story than most of the MC books I´ve read so far.
In this one the h is a "club girl" (the nicer phrase of a "club whore") as they are called. I don´t know if that is a real thing or not since I´ve got no knowledge of anything MC/biker related stuff, but it seems to be the term that is used in all of those books.
In the others I´ve read, the "club girl" is usually the backstabbing bitch in the story, but in this one the author changes tactic and makes her the main character of the story and I must say it was a bit refreshing even though I will admit I wasn´t sure in the beginning if this would be my cup of tea.
I liked this story, it was good, had a bit of suspence in it and it does end in a kind of a cliffhanger, but not for the main couple in this book, but the ones who are the next main focus in the series. Which means I have to read that now so I know what happens next!

Awhile back I had heard murmurs about an upcoming MC series featuring club girls. Truthfully I really wasn’t all that excited about the thought of a series surrounding women who freely let themselves be passed around from biker to biker. I mean lets face it, a lot of the books have at least one, two, or more “club whores” who dress like total skanks and are mean as snakes to boot willing to do anything to become an Old Lady. My thoughts were pretty much along the line of “who wants to read a book about a skank? Not me.” I should have known better. We forgive our favorite alpha manwhores for this type behavior, why are we putting our own double standards on strong h’s who act the same? Actually, several popular biker series have club girls who are strong women that are comfortable in their own skin and who like not being tied down to one man. This is the kind of heroine I can get behind. After the release date, reviews started coming in and they were pretty good. I decided to get off my high horse and check Harmony out. I am definitely eating some humble pie, because Harmony was a dang good little biker read from a point of view that we rarely get.
A club girl was someone who hung around an MC – a motorcycle club and was there for the mere purpose of being a hole to fuck.

Harmony is a “Club Girl” for the Brothers By Blood MC. She knew exactly what people thought of her, and she didn’t care. She had her reasons for doing what she did and she refused to feel bad about it. I was prepared to dislike her, but I ended up loving her character. Yes, she had sex with any brother that wanted it, but she was truly fond of almost all of them and she loved the club. She was strong, loyal, knew her place in life and was happy with it, and she wasn’t TSTL. She also had no intention of becoming an Old Lady and wasn’t scraping, scrapping, and competing for that.
I loved the men of my MC. They were hard, violent, and scary. But underneath it all, they had firm beliefs about respect
.
The BBB MC are 1%’ers but this is more a MC lite book than a truly gritty one. There is violence but since the book is about a club girl, the criminal activities of the club are barely mentioned. Most of the action surrounds the unfortunate interest a scout for a slave trafficking ring has in her. I liked all but one of the brothers. They were rough around the edges, but an extremely interesting group that I look forward to reading more about.
I didn’t need a woman that was going to fall at my feet and worship the ground I walked on. I wanted a woman who was strong enough to stand beside me as an equal.

Kit is the new President of another chapter and good friends with Optimus, the President of Harmony’s chapter, so he was visiting to celebrate. He takes one look at Harmony and is floored. An extremely short period of time later, he decides she is exactly what he is looking for in an Old Lady. Kit was alpha to the nth degree but he didn’t want a doormat of a woman and I loved that about him. He was also hot and the chemistry between them was scorching.
“Thought I could do soft and shit, babe. But now I’m seeing you, I just want to ram my cock into you so hard you’ll feel it next Tuesday.”

I smirked and moved back onto the bed, scooting backward and keeping my legs a little open to just give him a peek of what it was I knew he wanted. I didn’t want soft. Not with Kit. I wanted him to fuck me like he meant it. I wanted him to show me why he owned me and make me submit to him. I wanted to be with a man. I didn’t need feelings and light caresses. “Soft is overrated”.

There was a lot to love about Kit and Harmony’s story. The insta-love thing was a bit of a turnoff, there were a few eye rolling moments, plus a couple things that I could see coming from a mile off, but nothing that took away from my enjoyment of the book. There was also a huge surprise towards the end setting up the next book. It’s not a cliffhanger by any means, Harmony and Kit’s story is complete but the Brothers by Blood story is continuing on. This is the type of series I really like.

I love books that surprise me and surpass my expectations and this book definitely fits in that category. I even liked it enough that even though I got it through the Kindle Unlimited program, I went ahead and just bought the book. Needless to say, I can’t wait to get the next Club Girl’s book.

4.5 Stars for me

First time author for me and one that I’m sure to be following. She delivered a fresh, unique approach to the well-worn biker/MC sub-genre. We’re used to stories that deal primarily on a strong alpha male lead with the woman’s perspective always put secondary. This book tells the story of Harmony, a young college student and a self-admitted club whore. She’s strong, independent and accepts the path she has chosen in life. Kit is a strong man who recognizes her strengths and decides she has all of the qualities he desires in a mate or old lady to be his life partner. Harmony fights a good battle until she realizes fate has sealed her destiny. We get grit, violence and a host of very likable characters. The writing style is solid and the author knows how to project dialogue to make you actually visualize the scenes. The book is very well edited, although I did find a few minor words left out, etc. Nothing overwhelming. I smiled when I read a few New Zealand terms, such as singlet, scattered about in the book since it was set in two U.S. southern states where the term is not used. Overall, this was a great read that I read in one sitting because I didn’t want to put it down. I’m definitely looking forward to the next book in this series.

Apparently I read this over a year ago- yet, reading it again, it felt mostly like a book I hadn't read before. The story didn't stick with me the first time, so now it's getting a review- to be on the safe side.

Kit just became president of his own chapter, after his father stepped down. He took a trip to visit Optimus' chapter, where he meets a club girl- Harmony.

Harmony is smart, pretty, funny, loyal, and knows when to say her piece- or keep her trap shut. She's everything Kit wants in an old lady. However- she has hang ups, all revolving around people leaving her. Kit aims to break down her barriers and claim her.

I liked that the author gave us two interesting twists. One that will continue to play out into book two- Optimus story.

I liked Harmony. She was not a doormat. She could hold her own, know her place, forgive when needed, and fit Kit perfectly. I liked Kit. He was a good president, man, friend, and old man. He did his best to keep his promises.

I loved the club guys, except for the obvious bad seeded one, and I was sad for the club's loss. I loved Tie! He made me laugh with his comments- and even more when he does something later in the book while saving Harmony.

My two complaints:
1. This is an American based story- so why is there British or Aussie terms? (Bloody, carpark, cos, singlet, receptacle....)
2. Not enough depth for us to feel the love of the couple- or to see them as a true couple.

On to book two!!

Reading order
1. Harmony
2. Chelsea
3. Blizzard (brotherhood journals 1)
4. Hadley
5. Family
6. Wrench (brotherhood journals 2)

I was hesitant to read this because I never like the club whores when I read an MC book, but I liked this book. Harmony was a sweet strong girl and Kit was a great hero who knew what he wanted and didn't waver. There was a scene with OM at the beginning of the book that I didn't mind at all because I have lost count of the books that start out with the H having sex with OW. It was so different for it to be the h with someone else that I felt like cheering! Finally an h with as much experience as the H. The only negative for me is I would have loved for Kit and Harmony to discuss monogamy. Harmony has slept with married members of the club- she didn't like helping a guy cheat but she isn't in a position to say no. Kit says a lot that he likes that Harmony understands club life and I wonder if that also includes him sexing it up with club whores while Harmony is his old lady. That was even one of harmony's fears of being an old lady- that she would be home while he is at club banging whores. So a conversation would have really helped me unless we are to assume he will use club whores services. Even Kits mom- an old lady herself- said the club whores are there to keep the men happy. So I didn't know what to think. Safe with exception

I really enjoyed this one. It could have been 5 stars but there were some things that didn't jive with me. Kit was all about Harmony being his old lady the first moment he saw her. While that's fine but the relationship was on fast forward I mean they didn't even really know each other. But even with that this was enjoyable. It was refreshing to read this through a club girls perspective. but I mean Harmony wasn't the classic cum bucket we are used to so maybe that's why this worked. She wasn't after the guys to be an old lady she just wanted to have fun and she wasn't apologetic about what she was which was cool. Kit was smoking hot so I enjoyed that and the sexy times were HOT!! I'm really looking forward to Chelsea and Optimus's book. This kind of ended on a cliffhanger that leaves you wanting that book. So I will be keeping my eyes out looking for it!!!

Not bad, if you like the instant love or attraction trope. I'm not a fan. I like a nice slow build that allows for character and story development. I stayed with it until about 30%, but then just had to let it go. Just not for me.

1 Star.

If you enjoy the whole insta sum sum .. perfect book for you. If you are like me, then it won't work at all.

Happy maybe Reading!!

A different MC read 3.5 to 4 stars.

While I love MC books I don't particularly like the ones about club girls but the blurb from this made me want to give it a try, I quickly looked at the reviews and they were so good so I started reading.
Since the blurb gives you a feel for the book and there's already so many reviews I'll skip my usual summary and just give my opinion.
Despite its faults I really enjoyed this read, at times (one in particular) I was shaking my head thinking it's ridiculous but still I enjoyed it and that's what counts.
I liked the characters, Kit is your typical hot protective alpha male biker and Harmony was surprisingly likeable as the club girl. The secondary characters were good and I'm moving straight onto 'Chelsea' next because her and Optimus intrigued me.
This is a good nice little hot read, it's not to be taken seriously just read for what it is and that's a hot biker book.

Really good book. This story surprised me in the best way. When I read that it was about a club girl I thought it was going to be a drama filled romance but it wasn't. Once the hero and heroine meet there was no one else for either of them. Both the H & h are strong and instantly likeable characters who had sizzling chemistry. The plot was interesting and had a few unexpected twists and turns. I looking forward to reading more books by this author.

Overall if you looking for an instant love biker romance Harmony is definitely worth a read.

This was unexpectedly a fun read.
Bikers...pretty much like the mafia but less intense. BUT still intense in its on way.
Harmony, I was sort of put off with the fact that she was one of the Brothers by Blood club whores, like seriously have some respect, but she was respected and she enjoyed doing what she did.
I guess I could stay stumped by that whole whoring around thing but the guys really did respect her. Even if some of those guys were married or taken but I had to overlook that sh*t.
And when I did the story was brilliant!
Kit was hot as f*ck! I loved him. He was so sweet and attentive and possessive in all the right ways. It wasn't a long drawn out chase for him to get Harmony thank God.
Not sure about the next book because Optimus obviously has a past, past lover, past that will probably put a weg between him and Chelsea. Not looking forward to it but I'll give it a go.

This is the first time I've read anything written by Addison Jane, I found Harmony (The Club Girl Diaries, #1) on amazon free so I downloaded a copy.

I was pleasantly surprized how much I enjoyed this book; Harmony (The Club Girl Diaries, #1) as soon as I finished I had to go purchase Chelsea (The Club Girl Diaries, #2).

Addison Jane writing is good, and I defiantly will be reading more of her books, I cannot wait to read more in this series.

3.5+ RATING- In a crowd of way too many biker books that suck, Harmony was actually an okay read. It had some issues but considering it's a debut story, I was impressed it wasn't shit. Too many books I've picked up in the past few weeks have been.

Definitely a bit different story line with the heroine being a "club girl". The story did pull me in right away and the writing was okay. Some of the story line towards the end was a bit over the top, even for me, but in the end, the overall story worked okay. I'm looking forward to reading the next book, there's definite potential as a guilty pleasure series. I'd recommend to those that can appreciate a less than perfect biker romance.

Thanks to the ladies in the SA group for recommending this book, it was nowhere on my radar before the recs!

5 Fantastic Stars!!!!

I am so excited say that I LOVED this book! This is a new author to me and I was nervous as to what to expect and boy, oh, boy was I blown away with it:)

If I am being honest, I was excited and apprehensive at the same time to read this story. I love MC/Biker books and well the "club girls" are usually never a favorite, lololol, so I was so curious to read a story about a "club girl" and it was GREAT stuff!!!!! The author handled it better than I was expecting, actually it was handled perfectly:)

I have to also say, I am not an insta-love type of reader, I enjoy a bit of a build-up, slow and sexy and oh so HOT build-up between my main characters and although things happened VERY fast between Kit and Harmony, the author did it in such a way that it truly didn't feel so "instant" and/or "rushed" if that makes sense! I also wasn't sure how I would feel about a "club girl" becoming an old lady especially after knowing her history within the club but again the author did a terrific job with this storyline. I LOVED it:)

This story was HOT, sexy, suspenseful, mysterious, action-packed and oh yeah, Kit, oh Kit, mm mmm mmmm that guy was one hunkalicious man:) Now although I was left in a good place with these two, I definitely want more of them in the future, lolololol!!! BUT OMG, Op and Chelsea....oh gosh I will be waiting on that story with baited breath...it's gonna be a real doozey, I think and I am very nervous as to what the hell is gonna happen because I LOVE both of them and Chelsea is definetly girl crush material for sure, so its safe to assume I better prepare for some serious heartache coming!!!!

Congrats Addison Jane on a great start of a very promising series:)

description

Harmony is many things. She is a co-ed, musician, and an unrepentant club girl for the Brothers by Blood MC. Kit is the President of a visiting chapter and is enthralled at first sight. Can he tame the free spirit?...should he?

The Good:

1. In other books the club girls are described as utter trash beneath the feet of everyone. It never made any sense why anyone with a brain would choose that life. This book opened my mind to the concept. It was definitely needed in biker romancelandia. Harmony is sexually liberated, smart, and not featuring the damage I expected.

2. Kit has old world courtliness that was a welcome surprise.

3. The bonding between the female characters outside of the old lady circle was nice to see.

4. It had a nice balance between romance, and club action.

The Bad:

1. The bad guys were mustache twirling caricatures.

Final Thoughts:
I think this would appeal to feminist romance fans that avoid biker-land because of the constant disrespect found in the theme. It was great for the most part, but the villain drama annoyed me a bit. I would give this 3 1/2 stars, definitely a nice series starter.

I bought this book awhile back, and
when it popped up on my timeline
and I saw the ratings, I decided to
give it a shot. I knew going into
this that Harmony was a "club
whore". I really thought I would
have a problem with that. I like
both my H/h to be faithful. So, I
continued to read, and I was actually
fine with that.

Really, the only problem I had was
with this book was the major
insta-love on Kit's part. Now, I
liked Kit, but he was just too much,
too fast. He literally saw Harmony
and dubbed her his. Eh, this hardly
ever works for me.

I am looking forward to Optimus and
Chelsea's story.

Amazing!

This book had everything a MC romance should: steamy sex, suspense, strong H and h, a dose of humor, and enough bad boy bikers to sinfully satisfy.

I enjoyed how the book featured a 'club girl.' That was a first for me, and gave me a lot to think about. I can't wait for book two!

3 Stars. I do like that once H sees the h it's tunnel vision and she's it for him. One thing that bothered me were the common spelling errors breaks instead of brakes and "kidnaping" were in the book multiple times as well as some others. With a good edit could possibly rate up to 4 stars.

This was a fantastic read. This story has everything you could possible was in a MC Read.
Harmony is a educated club girl for the Brothers by Blood MC, and she is content. She is committed to the club.lives by their rules, loves her men and not looking to be anyone's Old Lady. That was until Kit a Newly appointed president from one of the chapter of the Brothers by Bloods pays a visit to his long time friend and Presidents of one of their chapters Olympus to celebrate his new status. He has no idea Harmony is a club girl, she don't look, act, or dress like a club girl and he is mesmerized by her. He loves her strength, commitment to the club. She has qualities that he has been looking for, so he decides to claim her. However that doesn't sit well Harmony. She doesn't want to be claimed, she loves her life, her men, and her friends.

This story is one of the best MC reads I have ever read. This author has done a great job bringing these characters to life. You not only feel connection with Harmony and Kit, but you feel a great love and connection to the secondary characters in this story.

I already love Olympus and Chelsea and their story can not come soon enough for me.

Harmony kept me up late reading or was it that I wanted to read and this was the book I was reading. Not sure...
Quick easy read that had parts I loved, others not so much. There's a lot that can be built on from here with this story line and as this is the first book, I guess that's to be explored down the track.

As an MC book, it took an uncommon angle of the h being the club girl. The concept of her being from the other side if the bed was explained away well and it was the other baggage that she had no idea about that turned the story around for me.

This book is a gem and the MC needs its own series!!! Two clubs, double the hotness.
This is a book about Harmony a club girl who loves the club but it's much more. I was expecting hidden secrets and tips. But it's about one strong girl who is the "perfect old lady material and more loyal than some of the brothers

Other then the obvious reason why this book/series is not for me (name says it all), Heros are never with OW yet the heroines are clearly with OM. MAJOR HELLL NO!!

Also to me its not classified as romance if the heroine has been with the Hero's "brothers".. every man he is close to has seen his woman's vag!

The Phoenix Club Girl Diaries is how I found Addison Jane. When I finished reading the two books in that series, I jumped back to start at the beginning with The Club Girl Diaries series because the worlds are interconnected. Actually, all her worlds are interconnected so I’m looking forward to going back and reading these connections because I’m just OCD about things like that LOL

I didn’t not like the series, but I was very unimpressed with the storylines. For me, and maybe that comes from reading so much, they were too predictable and the inconsistencies in the plot were something I just couldn’t get past. Some of the editing errors throughout the stories are huge. Everything from grammar to simple spelling to using Columbian instead of Colombian (as an example) ran ramped thru every book. Some of the books touched on some intense life circumstances but yet I felt no real tug of emotion when I read them.

Since I’ve read her recent work, I can safely say that most of this has improved with the newer stories, at least of the ones I’ve read. The Phoenix series reads on a much higher lever than this one, in my opinion, so I’m looking forward to reading her future work and see how she continues to connect her worlds.

Club girls aren't always seen in the best light in MC books, I thought this one did a good job of showing things in a positive light. I liked that Harmony had a safe place to stay, that the club paid for her schooling and even gave her a bit of spending money. She was ok with sex with all the brothers, it was a win win for them all. You could tell she wasn't going to do this forever, but for now, she was 100% ok with her life and I loved that about her.

It was interesting to see Harmony's life change and how hard she fought the change. You would think that being an Old Lady would have appealed to her more, but that wasn't the case and her past came into play. When she let Kit know why she didn't believe him, it made sense and you knew she was going to have to see it to believe it.

The drama at the end was crazy! I sure didn't expect Harmony to get kidnapped, nor for her to set up the way she did or for the club to learn of the betrayal. Holy cow! That was a lot going on, a lot of potential shit coming their way and it looks like there will be even more drama with Optimus's last phone call. I'm looking forward to seeing where things go from here.
