Wow, this book was a doozy! I really enjoyed the mystery and the action of the book and the end took me COMPLETELY by surprise. I can't remember the last time I was that surprised by a book, and I loved the fact I didn't see that coming. Randee and Ace are characters you can't help but like and root for. This was a fantastic LIS read and I am looking forward to more stories from Sharee!

'Something told him the weapon-toting accountant didn't possess a fear molecule in her body.'

Someone's after a deadly weapon...and only she can stop them. The government is testing a prototype of a 3-D printed 'ghost gun' and ATF agent Randee Jareau is charged with protecting the scientist that is developing it.

This book starts off running and the action doesn't let up until the epilogue. Serious suspense. Great suspense. As in, no one can be trusted suspense. I read this book in just a few hours. Sharee Stover has a winner here and I highly recommend it.

*My thanks to the author and publisher for a copy of this book. The opinions here are my own.

Sharee Stover has another winner here with Untraceable Evidence.
Working with the ATF, scientist Ace Steel, has a prototype that he needs to perfect and protect. Randee Jareau, ATF agent, goes undercover at Prime Right Laboratories to help protect Ace and The Ghost.
Get ready for a roller coaster ride of twists and turns as Randee and Ace try to outsmart the bad guys and discover just who wants The Ghost.
I like this Love Inspired Suspense for the great action and subtle faith element and the budding romance. It was a quick read but covered all the excitement and intrigue of a unique government agency quandary, slick as a whistle.
I’ll be looking for more by this author.

I didn't read this one as fast as I normally would, but I'm pretty sure this is the best Stover book I've read yet!! This author is KNOWN for creating one tense scene in each of her books where all I'm thinking is, "How in the WORLD are the characters going to get out of this one unscathed?" Where the danger and suspense is so palpable my heart rate increases...well in THIS book there's at least THREE scenes like that and I truly had no idea how Randee and Ace would escape unharmed.

This is Randee's coffee order and it just made my day reading it: I'll have a double-pump, triple-shot, low-fat, high-foam, extra-hot, peppermint and white chocolate mocha with whipped cream..."

The action is really non stop in this clean suspense novel and even though there is LOTS of shooting, there was nothing gory or inappropriate in the content. I had NO idea who the culprit was in this story, although I suspected a few people. One thing is for sure, TRUST. NO. ONE!

"Ace's question sent a shiver down her back. She'd longed to answer that for years. Who was she? Goal-driven. Lonely. Afraid of real relationships. The thought of baring her battered soul to him terrified her. But that wasn't what Ace was asking, and she knew it."

Loved the characters, the dialogue, how Ace physically fights back and protects Randee when he can, both cats (I was really worried about ONE of the cats in the story but it worked out), how the protection detail becomes a friendship, and ultimately how both characters have to forgive their parents and let go of tragedies from their past. The entire plot centers around a special gun that must be stopped from going into enemy hands, yet the gun is only active briefly in the story. Ace keeps it tucked away in a briefcase the whole time and that briefcase becomes VERY important.

The dedication reads like this: For the one exhausted from striving for perfection and approval, know this: you are accepted in the Beloved and His grace covers you. That truly sums up this wonderful book from an author who continues to impress me and edifies me in just the right ways.

“More than anything, God loves you, Ace. Nothing you could do or have done will ever change that. He couldn’t love you more today than He did yesterday or will tomorrow.”

With intense action and wonderful characters with undeniable chemistry, Untraceable Evidence is an intriguing tale of ATF agents, betrayal, and discovering true love.

In author Sharee Stover’s latest Love Inspired Suspense novel, ATF agent Miranda “Randee” Jareau is on assignment to protect the government’s top-secret creation of a 3-D printed ghost gun and scientist Ace Steele, who is in charge of creating the weapon. Suddenly her assignment takes a deadly turn, and Randee doesn’t know who she can trust.

The chemistry and banter between Randee and Ace allow readers to develop a deep connection to the characters while slowly learning more about their difficult backgrounds. I was definitely rooting for them to get a happy ending. Sharee Stover shocked me with who the “mole” was in the company, and I was not anticipating the additional twists and turns at the conclusion. Untraceable Evidence leaves readers with hope through God’s endless grace and love.

Untraceable Evidence is recommended for fans of inspirational romantic suspense.

“Ace set her gently on her feet. ‘What do you think? Was there any chemistry?’
Randee laughed. ‘I’m no scientific expert, but I’d say that was definitely a ten on the Richter scale.’ ”

Once again, Sharee Stover has crafted a must-read for her fans. I’ve read all of her books, and these are my favorite characters yet. The story is fast-paced with surprising twists. As usual, I found myself at times asking, “Who is the good guy? Who is the bad guy?”I'm always surprised at the end.

From the beginning I knew I was going to love this book because of two things. First, the law enforcement character in this one is Randee (not Ace). And these characters are well-established in their careers and older than your average hero and heroine.

Sharee Stover starts out with the action right away, letting readers in on the secret the scientist doesn’t know. And, while she introduces a couple of suspects in the first chapter, there are a few more sprinkled throughout the book making you question who really is behind everything happening to Ace and Randee.

The 3-D printer gun is a unique angle for a success story I haven’t read before, so even that part of the book enhances the overall story.

With enough twists and turns to make you lose track of where you are going and unique plot elements, Untraceable Evidence is one book I’ll recommend to all romantic suspense fans.

Another great book by Sharee Stover. Definitely one of the best authors with writing actions scenes. I particularly love this book about the 3-d printed ghost gun. Years ago I took CAD classes at college when 3-d printers were brand new. Plastic guns that could make it through airport security undetected were discussed early on. But like in Untraceable Evidence, keeping these things off the market can be deadly.

Despite the back and forth "who do you trust" plot, I actually ended up enjoying this one. The last of my impulsive harlequin buys, Untraceable Evidence is different from the harlequins I've read before.

For one thing, the heroine, Randee Jareau, is quite older than your typical harlequin heroine. Usually, heroines range from their early twenties to just barely approaching thirty, whereas Randee is unapologetically 39. Her love interest, Ace Steele, is also in that age range though, so of course they match up. Both focused more on their careers and work rather than maintaining personal relationships, they're more or less similar personas that compliment each other in how focused they are.

With their common objective to keep Ghost, a high-tech 3D gun, safe from a mafia-esque villain, it's the typical fast-paced plot that I've come to expect from these books. Again, I enjoyed it a lot, with just one star off for a bit too much lingering on that back and forth plot on who's trustworthy and who's not. A nice little read, overall.

Randee is undercover for the ATF to protect an undetectable gun that is being developed by Ace Steele. There is a mole in the company where the gun is being created, and Randee is supposed to fish out who it is.

Ace is a scientist to the core and hides a very hurtful past, making him a loner who never dates or does anything besides work. When the new accountant at work saves him from ambushers on her very first day there, she catches his attention. As Randee is around Ace more and more, they begin to read each other and start to develop a connection. Little do they know how much they will be tested!

This was a fast paced novel with locations that are in Nebraska, which I loved since that is where I live! I could visualize where they were driving throughout the book. Sharee is a great author because she kept me guessing until the end at what happened to Randee’s teammates. I had no idea!

I definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves a clean love story with lots of suspense and a dash of faith mixed in. I received an ARC of this book from the author, but that in no way affected my opinions in this review.

this was a exciting, and mysterious ride to the finish! Stover did a great job of weaving mystery, suspense, faith and romance into this read. Randee works for ATF and is undercover to protect a project called Ghost. She is also protecting the projects creator and someone is out to get the project. Keeps you moving from the beginning to the end!

Another great read from Sharee Stover! She keeps the action coming throughout the entire book. I love the plot of the book as well. Untraceable weapons fascinate me because of how great they could be in the right hands and how horrifying in the wrong hands. I honestly didn't see the plot twist coming at the end. I thought throughout the whole story I knew exactly who the villain was and I was incredibly wrong. :)

Very interesting read, fantastic story line, and well written!

Sharee Stover has written a great, fast-paced, plot driven story that takes readers on a solid journey of suspense. While the story is plot driven, the characters are still likable and relatable. You're cheering for the heroine, but you're not quite sure who else to trust! This story finishes out with a huge twist and Stover has done a good job giving the reader only just enough information to keep them guessing throughout the book. A great read with a sweet line of romance woven into the story that has a satisfying conclusion. If you're looking for a solid, well-researched story of suspense with a touch of romance, this is your go-to!

Can they tell the good guys from the bad...

Wow! What a story! I was totally kept running in circles trying to figure it all out! Of course, Randee and Ace were going in those same circles so I was in good company. I enjoyed Sharee Stover's previous book but I think Untraceable Evidence is my favorite, at least until her next release anyway.

Untraceable Evidence was a really good read. Short, easy to finish in a few hours. Best of all the action was non-stop and the romance was sparking. Sharee Stover has a real winner with her latest Love Inspired Suspense and I can't wait for from her!

Exciting, fast-paced suspense with unexpected turns!

The tension builds throughout Untraceable Evidence as undercover ATF agent Miranda (Randee) Jareau begins employment at PrimeRight where a secret project requires her to protect scientist Ace Steele. Danger surrounds the two as they attempt to keep “Ghost” from being taken by criminals. With many suspects, who can be trusted?

It was fun to be surprised at many twists along the way as I shifted my opinions about who were the good guys and who were the bad guys. I enjoyed the building attraction between Ace and Randee as they revealed their hurting hearts and learned to trust each other. Thank you, author Sharee Stover, for an engaging and entertaining romance! I highly recommend Untraceable Evidence!

Favorite quotes:
The clicking door lock had them both freezing. Ace moved protectively in front of Randee and whispered, “Keep him occupied.”

“You trust God and let Him guide you, while acknowledging what will break your heart. Because kid, in your case, it might save your life.”

Stover’s latest is a roller coaster ride of unexpected twists and turns. Ace isn’t your typical hero, but you can’t help but like him and root for him and Randee. Questions keep the reader guessing along with the characters.

I don’t know a lot about 3D printers, but over the past few months, I’ve heard a lot about them and all they can do.

Sharee Stover does a great job of creating characters that has the reader pulling for her geeky male lead and flawed female agent. This book is fast moving and a quick read. Loved the twists and really appreciated that they were believable. I'm looking forward to future books because she introduced characters we care about and want to share more of their lives.

What a great story! It starts out with a bang and takes you on a wild ride, getting faster as you get closer to the end. And the twists and turns-Wow! Randee Jareau is one steely, smart woman, which I admire in a character. She is paired with Ace Steele, who reminds me of Colin Firth with his lanky height, intelligence, and determination. They are an unlikely crime-fighting duo but go oh-so-well together.

While reading, the pages flew under my fingers as I wanted to see how the sharp turns adeptly written in Sharee Stover's book would be tamed. Surprises, and thrills, and a sigh later, I was sadly finished with their story. Those who love a great "whodunnit" will be ecstatic when they read this book. For those of us who love romance, there's enough to bring a smile to your face and a skipped heartbeat or two. Untraceable Evidence is a fantastic novel, find out for yourself when it comes out in May.

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Untraceable Evidence. Sharee is a fairly new author at LIS but she is a winner as far as I'm concerned. This story is well written, action packed, and full of faith. I know you are going to love it.

ATF Agent Randee Jareau is assigned to keep the government's top secret, 3-D printed "ghost gun" from falling into the wrong hands. She goes undercover as an accountant. There is a mole in the company and she must find out who the traitor is. On her first day she is forced to aid the scientist she is here to protect as he is attacked in the garage. So not how to empress your new boss.

Scientist Ace Steele is the creator of the new "ghost gun". He is the owner of PrimeRight Laboratories with his partner. He never planned to be a murderer but that wouldn't matter if his Project Ghost landed in the hands of the enemy. Every life-stealing, disintegrating bullet would forever brand him as a killer. Can he keep it out of the hands of evil men? Who is this woman that can take out men twice her size? Not really in the job description of an accountant.

A terrifying journey as the mole in his company plans to get their hands on the gun as soon as it is perfected. These two must find away to stop these criminals. God has a plan for these two; a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too, a good plan and not for evil. Give Him your heart and watch Him work in your life.

DO NOT FEAR!! God will take care of you when you give Him the right to work in your life.

Twists and turns. Ups and Downs. Did I mention roller-coaster ride? This is exactly what Untraceable Evidence feels like! Non-stop action and unanswered questions make this a suspense story that I couldn't put down. Author Sharee Stover adds even more interest by including a 'white hat' hero and a brave heroine who is very special in her own right! I admired scientist Ace Steel for his determination to prevent the weapon that he had personally designed from being used used for evil purposes and I found ATF agent Randee Jareau's efforts to protect him just as admirable. As they race to find who is trying to steal the 'ghost gun' there is another element added to their relationship...from the first time she saw him, Randee labeled him worthy of being a GQ model but, as they work together, she discovers that he's just as special on the inside. Is it possible that something else might come from this investigation? Can Randee trust Ace enough to share her fears about real relationships and commitment?

This book has everything you could ask for in Christian romantic suspense: danger, mystery, an unexpected ending, a super couple, and the reminder that God's love and grace is available to all you seek them. I highly recommend Untraceable Evidence.

I received a copy from the author and publisher but I wasn't obligated to write a favorable review. I am voluntarily sharing my honest thoughts.

I really enjoyed this suspense read. The two main characters are terrific. You don’t have a typical hero in Ace, but he is definitely a likable one! Randee is a terrific character as well, and it was interesting seeing her trying to be undercover. I really enjoyed the secondary characters in this book as well.

The plot was a terrific one. I found it especially interesting since I’m fascinated by 3-D printers. The storyline was done well, and it was a good pace.

This book pulled the reader in by quirky and fun characters as well as a good plot. The suspense is very well done with a good ending. This book also had a faith theme-something I always look for in my Christian Fiction reads.

Recommend this read for any suspense fans!

I loved the plot of this story! A scientist charged with inventing a 3D printed gun that really works being protected by a skillful ATF officer who just happens to be a beautiful woman posing as an accountant. Randee will have to rely on all her skills to keep Ace safe, but things become even more difficult when they don't know who to trust. Everyone is a suspect, even Randee's co-workers. Thumb a ride with Ace and Randee as they try to protect the gun code-named 'Ghost' and end up running for their lives in this suspenseful, edge-of-the-seat thriller. I dare you to try to keep the good guys sorted out from the bad guys - Ms. Stover has not made this an easy task. However, the journey to the exciting end is well worth it. This is an adventure you won't soon forget.

The characterization, the creative premise, the great research, and stupendous combination of Romance and Suspense made this book a page-turner I didn't want to put down - and I didn't - I read it straight through.

Ms Stover's is terrific novelist, one of the few LIS who can develop a short novel with a long novel feel - and I've become a fan! This is the first book of an ATF series I want to be sure to collect.

I received a complimentary copy of Untraceable Evidence, but I was NOT asked to review it. These thoughts are strictly my own opinion.
