What this rock star wants, he gets—period. And what he wants is Lily... After leaving her home and country on a mission of self discovery, Lily Parnell discovers the enigmatic Alfie Black instead. Hot rock-god-in-the-making, the man is the talk of campus, known for being charismatic, charming, insatiable, and practically irresistible. Problem is, he knows it. And Alfie doesn’t just want Lily, he craves her. Driven to distraction by his desire, his relentless pursuit disarms Lily at every turn, breaking down her walls brick by brick until finally, the out-of-her-depth exchange student lets him in. Alfie wants her completely. But sneaking around in the shadows, while passionate and intense, quickly isn’t enough for Lily. She wants him as much as he wants her, and she’s not willing to give up her dreams for his secrets. And even with all of her angst she wants more. In fact, Lily wants everything. Coming of Age, Friends to Lovers, New Adult and College/ New Adult romance series "Everything is not a story you merely read, it's a story that you experience." Reviewer.
"I love Alfie Black! He's up there with my other favorite male rockstars, Jack Lair and Kellan Kyle." Reviewer of Everything I Want.
This whole story was very intricate with lots of personalities coming and going. When a writer gives you dreams, love, heartbreak, and friendship while all the time making you want to keep turning the pages you know by the end of the story you are going to feel every beat, every tempo, and every solo brought to you though their words." If you enjoy the everything series you can read Alfie's POV on the story with added backstory in Love With Every Beat. Jack also has his own book in Just Jack and Rick Fars has his story too in Exhale and Move On.

This trilogy is a must-read. I have loved spending the last few days with Lily, Alfie and their close circle of friends and family. I found this story to be full of twists and turns and quite the emotional roller coaster ride. I've waited far too long to read this series and am now kicking myself. Don't make the same mistake I have, read it now!! Enjoy!!!
My review of each book in reading order -
Enough Isn't Everything - ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Lily and Alfie have made appearances in a couple of K.L. Shandwick’s later releases that I have read and I’ve been intrigued to learn their story. I’m so pleased that I now have the time to read this trilogy and witness their journeys from the very beginning.
Enough Isn't Everything is quite a steamy read. There is a lot of sex but it is in keeping with the storyline. Lily, shall I say, has been grabbing lots new opportunities by the horns since arriving in the USA. I’m loving seeing how happy she is with her music; she seems to have this part of her life under control and heading in the right direction. The chemistry between Lily and Alfie is off the charts. They sexually are as hot as Hades but Alfie’s insistence that their ‘relationship’ is purely physical and without any emotions is creating issues between the pair. This book has ended on a bit of a cliff-hanger and I cannot wait to see what happens next. I have a feeling we’re going to learn a lot more about this talented guy in the next book.
My love of this story increased as Lily’s journey progressed. Enough Isn't Everything is told solely through Lily’s POV and I haven’t at all missed that it is not penned with dual or multi POVs. All the characters add to this storyline perfectly. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this first book in the series and will be heading straight over to read Everything She Needs.
4 stars.
Everything She Needs - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Everything She Needs continues Lily and Alfie’s story from where the first book in this series left us. I read this second book in one day as I didn’t want to put my Kindle down…. so I didn’t. I am loving witnessing Lily and Alfie’s journeys even though my heart has hurt for them both during many scenes.
Lily has been hurt badly multiple times by Alfie, and as I expected I learned the reasons behind his behaviour and actions in this book. I actually warmed to him more because of this. Don’t get me wrong, I have been in lust with the guy since the moment we met but I hated how he was treating Lily. They have this incredible connection and sexual chemistry that is palpable. As much as I think Alfie and Lily are perfect for each other and I can see how much they want to be together, it’s clearly a case of ‘right person, wrong time’. There are lots of twists and turns throughout this narrative and I was pleased with the decision Lily had made at the end of the closing chapter.
I finished reading Everything She Needs late in the evening and I usually don’t start reading another book until I have written and published my review. I couldn’t help but start reading Everything I Want and if I hadn’t needed sleep I know I’d already be finished reading that book too. I’m loving it!!
I have no idea why it has taken me so long to pick up this trilogy but I’m kicking myself for not doing so sooner. I highly recommend this series to you to read. This is the first series that the author penned and published, and it’s actually lovely to stop and appreciate the growth of K.L. Shandwick’s writing.

Everything I Want - ⭐⭐⭐⭐1/2
I am kicking myself for not reading this series sooner. The Everything Trilogy has been on my Kindle waiting to be read for far too long. Don’t make the same mistake I have, read it now!!
I thoroughly enjoyed this trilogy finale. Lily and Alfie face new challenges in both their personal and professional lives and the narrative took me on yet another emotional roller coaster ride. Like the others, this instalment has many twists and turns. I have at times loved and hated both characters for the decisions they have made. Now, having finished the series, I have to admit that Alfie is up there with my favourite book boyfriends. I may have disliked him initially but once I got to know him, I could see he is everything I would wish for in my man. I am aware that Alfie tells us his story in Love with Every Beat and I cannot wait to read this.
In my review of Everything She Needs, I mentioned that I was pleased with the decision that Lily had made at the end of the closing chapter. During a moment in this book, Alfie sums up what I meant perfectly……
“Most women in your position would have just gone with the fame and their guy.”
“Not you. You stuck to your guns, wanting to make music, and chasing your own dreams. I fu**ing hated it, hated you at times, but at the same time loved you all the more for it. I can take the fact we’ve spent time apart. All the heartache and lonely nights, knowing now, it wasn’t in vain".
Yes, I outright hated Lily at times for hurt she caused Alfie. As already mentioned, there have been times when I have despised them both for causing each other pain and heartache. I eventually understood their reasons though, and thankfully Alfie and Lily do now too.
I absolutely love Lily’s close circle. Those near and dear to her always have her back and are fiercely protective of her. Her bandmates are even willing to put her emotional wellbeing above the opportunity for success – and that’s huge. I found she has an incredible family and set of friends, and I loved being amongst them all.
I’ve loved spending time learning Lily and Alfie’s story. Told solely through Lily’s POV I didn’t feel the narrative was missing any other character’s perspective. Yes, there were times throughout the series that I wished some of the descriptive language had been a little less repeated, especially with regards to Lily’s body reactions to Alfie and other men. However, please remember that this is the author’s debut book series.
I definitely recommend this series to you to read.
I was excited to start another new series to me from the very talented K.L. Shandwick and this time I was transported into the world of rocker Alfie Black and Lily Parnell. As you would expect from this author this read was full of passion, emotion and angst but more importantly it was a love story. From the moment Lily and Alfie meet sparks fly and Lily’s life is turned upside down. She is meant to be in Miami to attend college not falling in love with a bad boy rockstar……. Alfie knows what he wants and he normally gets it but getting Lily was never going to be easy because he isn’t the only man who wants her. This story is raw and gritty but that only makes these characters easier to love, their journey was always going to be rocky and a roller coaster of a ride but I’m so happy to be part of the ride.
Everything She Needs
Book two in The Everything Trilogy has us catching up with Lily Parnell and rocker Alfie Black celebrating Christmas in London. Lilly is looking to see what the future holds for her music and her love for Alfie and when he tells her he would never love her she is devastated. But Alfie is not prepared to let her go, he may not love her but he still wants her…… This book touched me on so many levels, this emotional roller coaster had me reeling and it kept me on the edge of my seat. K.L. Shandwick is one if the best authors I have read when it comes to rock star romance and this is a wonderful addition to this trilogy. This book is raw, gritty, heartbreaking and at times heartwarming but more importantly it’s about flawed lovers finding themselves
Everything I Want
The final book in The Everything Trilogy and what a wonderful conclusion to this epic love story. Alfie Black and Lily Parnell have finally moved on and started pursuing their own futures but she struggles without him in her life……… They are both determined to not look back even though they still love each other. So what happens when they come face to face and will she be prepared to give him another chance to possibly break her again. This is a rocky journey that had plenty of ups and downs as well as twists and turns but MS Shandwick is the queen of raw and gritty love stories and this trilogy is amongst the best.
First of all, l was so impressed when l found out that this series was the debut novel for KL Shandwick. It was very brave to take on and successfully translate all that sexual tension and intense feelings. This story had me feeling so much, it was hard work.
One minute l was swooning at the description of a very hot Alfie Black (sigh) The next minute l was perspiring at the sexual chemistry and heat Alfie and Lily produced when they got together. Another minute l was so angry at what Alfie was putting Lily through that l was cursing.
This book is an angst lovers dream, there is so much push and pull and so much will they, won't they this time? Alfie and Lily really do have to work for their relationship, they may have intense chemistry and deep feelings but they also have talents that clash. Alfie is an established rock star, with a band and a huge following, while Lily is only just starting out . She has a chance at her own stardom and has to make some difficult decisions. Does she live her dream , or give it all up for a chance at love ?
I really loved all of the side characters too, Lily has some great friends and bandmates, who care for her and protect her, their camaraderie is special. My favourite character has to be Jack, Lily's best friend from London. He has a sense of humour full of innuendoes that will crack you up every time. Apparently he has his own book , which l will most definitely read straight after .
A very well written trilogy that will keep you guessing till the end.
Everything Trilogy was an emotional read about sometimes having a second chance at love.
Without giving too much away, Lilly and Alfie had met through unusual circumstances, left, and tried to move on.
As time went by, both of them and their rockstar lives were intertwined, and it often caused heartbreak over and over again.
Both were being stubborn and inconsiderate at times of each, and the pain they were causing not only to themselves but their choices often effected their families, friends and colleagues were often in the middle of their heartache journey.
It is an enjoyable read worth reading about rockstar romance with plenty of second chances.
Wow, so much angst throughout the whole series! These two seriously needed their heads banging together. They were on and off so many times I struggled to keep up! The chemistry between Lily and Alfie was off the charts right from the very start but he had his guard up and didn’t do relationships, he just wanted sex! Lily being very inexperienced and naive thought she could do that but clearly she couldn’t. Between them they made so many mistakes and there was so much heartache over the years, it made my head spin. I think their story could have been condensed into 2 books but loved their story.
This trilogy was excellent! Lily and Alfie will take you on an emotional rollercoaster ride as they sort out their lives and their feelings. They have a connection and an undeniable chemistry, only Alfie doesn't do relationships, just sex. This story is filled with twists, angst, pain, and intense chemistry. It's well written, with great characters and side characters, and the storyline was engaging. It's definite page turner and a must read.
I enjoyed this and hoping to read more books by you. I love your work but I don't think anything has touch me like another life did, but you are amazing author. Keep Up The Good Work.
Starting a new section of her life studying music in Miami, Lily is British a long way from home and has only just lost her virginity. Meeting Alfie there's a connection and sparks the chemistry is off the scales, only down is he does not do relationships, all he wants is sex. This is full of angst and the pain of emotions going haywire, confusion for not just her feelings but how Alfie and others treat her. Lily is so troubled and torn so unsure in the end, I really felt for her. These guys I felt none were being really honest, all pushing her to making decisions not particularly good for her. This is well written and full of twists and the unexpected. It is a young adult base, with music being the study matter and sexual exploration one of the main subjects. There is explicit sexual content. I really enjoyed reading it.
Gosh will these characters ever be on the same page as each other, all the angst and pain they are inflicting is going back and forth like a tennis ball during a match. Having said that I'm glued to this series. All the emotions have me tied in knots, half the time I have a lump in my throat. The support characters are quite fun so its enough to lighten things up and give some relief from all the drama. This is fairly intense through most of the book so you do need the lighter moments. The twists and turns keep this from getting comfortable or staid. Great reading, compulsive and addicting.
This series has broken my heart, every time I thought "oh no!" I then got a glimmer of hope again. wow thank goodness for this one. With me thinking both Alfie and Lily had moved on so they collide again, with both having been broken in the past few years at least this time they are honest and talk, they also really try. This really has been an emotional roller coaster of reading, I have spent real tears for this couple and read with my fingers crossed. This isn't just good its fantastic.
Wether you are new to these books or just wanna re-read them, its the perfect way to read all of the trilogy right through.
Lily and Alfie are instantly drawn to each other, a lot of sexual chemistry between them. They go through many ups and downs throughout the years. Both doing great separately in their own bands but missing eachother. Will they be together or not?? A must read.
This trilogy is brilliant. It has all the feels and takes the reader on a rollercoaster ride as Lily and Alfie try to sort out their feelings; their lives and each other. KL writes rock star romances and writes them very well. Her stories suck the reader in, and hold them there until the very last page is turned!
This box set was so good!!!!! Alfie and Jack 🥵🥵🥵 hot is just one word to describe these men, the chemistry between Alfie and Lily is so ‘realistic’ and who wouldn’t want a best friend like Jack!!!!! A definite must read 🖤😍🖤
