So, my life is about to get super complicated…and the interesting thing is that I’m probably going to enjoy every second of it!
My mother and sister have hatched some cockamamie scheme in which—ta da!—I’m pretty much the lynchpin…and they’ve sent me to seduce billionaire philanthropist Damian Coldwell.
I couldn’t seduce a geriatric with a blue pill hard-on if he’d had a twenty year dry spell and I was the only woman in a thirty mile radius.
Now, I’m kind of new to the whole stealthy, espionage sort of vibe. I’m no femme fatale and this ain’t no comic book! I’m an art student for crying out loud. This really isn’t my scene…

He couldn’t keep it in his pants for TWO months. He’s SO heart broken by h’s betrayal that he had to fuck OW to get over her yet went to meet the h and forgave her and moved like a docile lamb after h’s sister paid him a visit. No remorse for ONS, no bitterness for h.

This was my first book by this author. I really enjoyed it. There wasn’t a lot of steamy scenes in the book and that was fine. The characters and storyline were wonderful. Abby’s father has died and her family believes that Damian Coldwell has drove him to do so. Damian took her father’s company and now her family is plotting revenge. Her mother and sister are using her to seduce Damian so they can take control of the company. Both Damian and Abby are using the other to get the things that they want. This book will keep you on your toes and you won’t want to put it down once you get started. There was drama, romance and of course a HEA. I can't wait to read more from this author.

Good love story with HEA
This was a good one. Good Characters that are well developed. Considering the story line there could have been a lot of over done angst, but happily there wasn't. (No dumb heroine who lies and keeps secrets through the entire book... Hate those.). These were two smart, basically good people who were a little misguided by circumstances initially, but learn to trust their own opinions vs what others say. Easy read that holds your interest. Will definitely read more from this author.

Damian Coldwell the cold ruthless businessman was used to not feeling anything. Harsh unforgiving brutal and cold some would say he had no heart especially women. Damian was used to sleeping with women and leaving them, that was until he met Abby Aldridge. Damian is easily entranced by Abby even if she is his enemy he can’t help his attraction to her. Of course Damian’s interest in Abby isn’t all honest and true, he also has an ulterior motive for revenge to destroy Abby. Abby also has motives of her to take down Damian. Of course not all things are clear including revenge and lust which could derail the one emotion that never should have been included-love. Can both Damian and Abby manage to annihilate each other without love getting in the way?
What a nicely told contemporary love story filled with lust, passion, betrayal, family, enemies and a love that manages to come out of all that. Plus, the author knows how to tell a fairly good story even though some points aren’t made clear. Perhaps the title of the book doesn’t really inspire a good feeling about the story which leaves lukewarm emotions about it. The characters are well written despite not being able to really form any true bond with them. Maybe it’s because all of their intentions are not great towards one another or they just aren’t good people. Abby, the beautiful petite heroine seems okay but as you get to know her, she isn’t really all that likable even though she manages to redeem herself. Abby never goes out and hurts Damian despite her wanting too; even though in his mind she does but she apologizes for anything. Damian on the other hand is truly horrid! He sabotages and ruins Abby including her family. He’s mean, arrogant, and cold-hearted; Damian also doesn’t care about anyone except himself or maybe his family. Sure he was hot and handsome which made him totally beddable but he wasn’t really winning me to him. This book isn’t one to reread but still the author writes some compelling stuff anyway and some might like it if they are in the mood for it.

Its okay
Not true love in my opinion. They both had different motives, yet the same in the beginning, but she came clean & they parted and he screwed every walking reminder, while she tried to heal herself. Then they end up together!?! Didn't even finish the last pages, nor did I want to read the bonus scene.

Just as the title said it was pure sex ! Can't believe how much I enjoyed reading this book. Unbelievable how much the couple enjoy each other with a plot to destroy each other! All said and done everything else was absolutely awesome, delish. ENJOY

This book had so many twists and turns that I could barely keep up - but that's a good thing. It kept me engaged and wanting to read more! Abby and Damian are seriously like a modern day Romeo and Juliet (minus the ending); their families are locked in a decades-long feud that's more twisted than originally appears, and both sides are looking to avenge their families to the very end. The characters are so much more complex than I was anticipating, though, which I absolutely loved. There's depth and emotion and more than just revenge in this story, and the romance factor just kicks it up a notch. I love Abby's and Damian's characters - they're total opposites but absolutely right for each other, and I love seeing them both evolve into something deeper, something more. I thought Raquel did a great job developing the characters and the story. It was a great read.

All about Abby Aldridge who is twenty-six years old and a Gallery Curator & Damian Caldwell who is thirty-six years old and billionaire who just bought Aldridge Enterprises. Abby’s father Caleb Aldridge is dead, because Damion stole his company away and now her entire family is about to thrown out on the street because of it. So Abby’s mother & sister Elaina devise a plan and use me to try and get dirt on Damion! The author wrote a story about a man who has been hurt very badly, and vows to get justice for his mother & father no matter what the cost. Read about Abby & Damian and see if they can overcome the ruthlessness that brought them together, or will greed win!! I throughly enjoyed reading this book, and was unable to put it down. If you enjoy intrigue, deceit, passion & lying then this is the book for you! Enjoy it, because I sure did!!

Mesmerizing Summer Read
Oh what an intriguing read by Raquel Belle about Abigail Aldridge, a feisty sprite of a woman, who is avenging the death of her businessman father against Damian Coldwell, a billionaire philanthropist, and a womanizer. He is immediately drawn to the beautiful woman and she cannot help but to be mesmerized by this handsome man despite all that she has heard about him. I thoroughly enjoyed this well written book with a storyline that has many twists and turns and steamy sexual chemistry. I highly recommend this book for a summer read.

Liked this story of Damian and Abby very much. She blames him for her father's death which he was. Not in the traditional way though. Her mother and sister want her to seduce him and find some way to blackmail him so he will not take everything they have left. She should hate him but once they meet she finds that hard to do. For a short story it is pretty deep and you get the background for both characters that makes them work as a couple. Also a bonus at end of book for a followup novella you can download to continue their story.

I just finished this read. I overall enjoyed it; I'd be willing to read a 2nd book to see what happens from here. I wish that there would have been a better explanation of why the revenge was needed sooner in the story but was thankful when it finally came. I enjoyed Abby with her aspects of being a real person.
Overall I liked her ability to humanize Damian.

Excellent read!!! Damian was set on revenging his father’s honor. Damian is a ruthless man when it comes to business. What he wants he gets... Abby came along and rocked his world. Unbeknownst to him, she is the daughter of his sworn enemy. His head told him to leave her alone however his heart couldn’t let her go!!!
Abby and Damian had undeniable chemistry. No matter their differences, they couldn’t fight their feelings for one another. Excellent read

Took me a bit to get into this book, only because my mind was elsewhere worrying about life. This book was very good, the whole enemies to lovers was well written in this as well. I honestly was wondering how things would work out with Damian and Abby up until the end.
I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

Great story loved it.
I gave this story a 4 instead of 5 stars because of the fast ending. The story held my attention all the way to the end. Made me laugh and cry but the ending could have been better very quick and needed more of them together.

Revenge?
Damian and Abby went from so called enemies to eventually lovers. Family histories and much misinformation between the two, with family members they could do without proved to be very hurtful. I loved Abby but can't say as much for Damian. He was quite pompous.

I have enjoyed the way the characters lead into the storyline. And then fight the attractions to each other while trying to get the revenge they think will make it happen.

When two ppl find each other all hell will break lose with the amount of chemistry exploding between them even if they are sworn enemies and out for revenge...this book was alive and kept me reading till the end....
