Food is life for popular cuisine blogger, Marlowe Dex. It's how she earns a living, and in less than a year, she's become one of Denver's top food critics. Her business was growing until a troll on her blog begins making anonymous comments about her choice of restaurants and the unhealthy food she critiques. Now that her site ads aren't making her enough money to sustain her lifestyle, Marlowe begrudgingly takes a side job in the marketing department of a brand new hospital in town to get the collectors to stop calling. When Dr. Judson Turner walks into her office, demanding things of her without so much as a hello, she's instantly on the defensive at his brazen attitude and abrasive language. Unfortunately, she can't help but notice his full lips, clean, sexy beard, and the way his scrubs ride low on his hips. But Dr. Turner won't be ignored, and Marlowe isn't sure if she likes his direct approach, or if she needs to keep it business as usual and ignore the scorching attraction crackling between them. All she knows is she needs to concentrate on the task at hand: Get that fat commission check so she can quit the hospital job, get back to fulltime food blogging, and finish the foodie book she's writing.Because staying single and working from home is living the dream... right?

This book... i.. i disliked Judson he did sorta redeem himself near the end.. but i still was annoyed with him.

i had a feeling he was the "troll " who left those comments on her food blog page.. but since he never saw her face he didn't know.. he thought he was being witty and not a hater when he said those comments.. until he found out it was her and felt guilty he said those comments... but he got mad at ppls for fat shamming her.. so that confused me.. if he knows a person in rl its bad to fat sham.. but if he's anonymous being a troll and sorta fat shaming her to eat healthy its different???

Also he was flirting/texting one woman (after meeting Marlowe) and after their date a random naked woman jumped him in his house.. he told the ow to leave but still ruined that evening for himself and marlowe.. i could go on and on but.. this was just blah for me :(

Only awesome thing was Marlowes sass and the hawt cover..

No om but ow drama, drama, no virgins kinda of a manwhore?

Great premise Bad execution

I have to be honest I really wanted to like this book, but it didn't work out. The characters could have been so much more. Their interactions were fine but their issues never really were. The big issues got cleaned up too easily, and the small ones got blown out of the water. There were just too many things that got solved too fast, or things that happened that just aren't probable. This is such a quick and dirty story that I feel as if I was cheated out of what could have been. Why so rushed? Why so forced? Why so trite at all the wrong times? I'm just so upset about what could have been if the characters had been given more love and attention to really blossom. The writer has obvious talent, but a good romance needs to simmer and this one just kind of burned and not in the good way. I'll try their other books.

I really enjoyed this book! I especially loved Marlowe and all her sass!!!

Judson was a different character. I loved him, but he had his faults. He does something stupid but to me he wasn’t trying to cause any harm. He just wants everyone to have a long, healthy life (he’s a cardiologist!! There goal is to help people achieve this!)!

I’d definitely recommend this book if you want a sassy heroine and a hot doctor!!

Less of the misogyny please

I enjoyed this story for what it is, a bit of fluff. However I found the heroine to be quite unlikable. Clearly in for a free ride and also slut shaming one of the hero's ex flings, as did the hero himself. Him calling someone he used to sleep with 'a skank' is NOT okay, and the heroine calling her 'a tart' just because she was called fat is not an excuse. Also not sure what the diet plan Marlowe signed up for had to do with anything.

Another cute story by Candi

Marlowe is a food blogger, Judson is a cardiologist. They meet at the hospital with her marketing job. He is a health but and she isnt. Their relationship starts slow but things get crazy when each other find things out about each other. They are opposites that attract. This is another funny crazy wonderful book by Candi.

A different taste for me in reading with a more light hearted note to it. Marlowe is the one whom will take us along with Dr. Judson whom could give my doctors a pointer or two. She is after all in a field that makes him money I would say. The chemistry between the two is quite entertaining with the light hearted story being just what the doctor ordered.

So for starters I am not a romance book person. Yet I could not put this one down! I had to know what happened next. The character points were amazing as well as the storyline. It made you crave for the juicy scenes. They are well written and make you believe you are there. This is a favorite and I will be reading it again soon!

Blah !

It took me months to finish this book. I simply couldn't stay focused on the storyline. The characters were boring and underdeveloped and failed to spark any desire to keep reading. I have read other books by this author and I always enjoyed her writing but, I think her mind was wandering as she wrote this book. I am still a fan, just not of this book.

Hot doctor and blogger. Judson wants the world to be healthy. Marlow wants everyone to know the best eatery around town. She enjoys her food and blog but not Cardi D. This is a sweet romance and a great beach read.

Dumb Book!

If you wanted to write a book about women with curve... then write it about one who is happy with how she looks... not one who is going to a gymn to change how she looks and the guy she likes thinking that she was a BIG FAT COW! Wow... this book sucked!!!

Don't care much for people going from food joint to another, writing about it and calling that work. I thought the heroine was kind of lazy, didn't like her much. Good writing though.
