Keeping score is book three in the ‘’A duck’s football’’ series. Although this book is book three of the series, it is the first one that I have read. This story is short, fast paced and a nice read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. Keeping score is the first book of Rachel Everly’s that I have read. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline entertaining.
Cali is a physiotherapist that has been burnt by love. Needing a fresh start away from the person that broke her heart she moves across country. Just as she is settling someone that knows her past trades into the football team she works at. She also starts to develop feelings for Malcolm, an injured player.
The chemistry between Cali and Malcolm is clear to see and I liked them as a couple. I just wish that this book were a little longer. I wanted more scenes of Cali and Malcolm as a couple.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is a nice read. I cannot wait to read more books from this series and read the previous ones.
