USA Today Bestselling author, Jewels Arthur, writes steamy paranormal/fantasy RH Romances, that often feature very sassy females. Much like herself. She lives in Central Illinois with her husband, daughter, thirteen-year-old kitty, and a pup named Eevee.

Swoons are her jam. She spends all her time watching TV/movies, reading books, and listening to music that makes her swoony. When she isn't doing that she is drooling over her fictional characters or making book-related graphics.

Jewels has thousands of story ideas always flowing through her brain and she can't wait to share them all with her readers. One thing is for sure, they will all feature steam, smut, and swoons.

In a way I'm a little worried about how fast I go through this series. I have only one more book left until a new one is published on Monday. It might become a huge problem when I find myself missing the Jewels Cafe series next week when I crave a short, nice, light read in the evening. But, I just enjoy these stories too much to NOT read them. I just can't help myself.

And I might like this story even more than the first Rose book, which I already really enjoyed. Mostly because the plot in this book seemed to be paced a lot better. The small signs of the big threat became visible quite early, while the characters still had time for romance and girls nights. The big finale of the mystery and threat lasted almost until the very end and was on top of that very well thought out and interesting.

The characters also all had their chance and moment to shine. Each of them has different talents and each of them got to show them at some point. It was nice to see them working together to solve the case. Rose's frustration about the guys being so worried about her that they were practically locking her up was quite nice though. I love caring and protective guys, but there are lines and these guys were going over it. I'm glad she called them out on it AND I'm glad the guys were understanding her point of view. Eventually. Sort of.

The best part of this book though? Vampkitten Pumpkin. The idea already that a cat, a very special cat though, can turn into a vampire is amazing, but the execution might be even better. Pumpkin becomes more of a character of his own, with his own personality and voice. I really enjoyed his way of thinking and talking. And strangely enough, no matter how weird it is, it felt very natural for a cat to be like this.

What a nice addition to the Jewels Cafe series!

I absolutely adore this world!! When I found out that there was more to come, I was just giddy!!

I really enjoyed seeing Rose and her men after their initial beginning of their relationship. It was comforting to see that they have grown closer together and it wasn’t just a spell that cause it. While it pushed them towards each other more, they already truly have that connection. It has just grown stronger.

I also really enjoyed learning more about each character. I thought it was a great balance between the fun times, character development, story development, relationships, and a few fun twists in there.

If you enjoy:
Vampires
Reverse Harem
Alpha Men
Deliciously curvy and real ladies
Fun sidekicks
A bit of llama drama

Then this is the book for you!

I am so glad we got a continuation of Rose's story in the Jewels Cafe series! Now that Rose is no longer a human after the events of book 1, she can truly be with her three mates previously just her very attractive bosses. As a curvy bartender turned vampire, Rose is ready to spend time getting to know each of the brothers Dean, Finn, and Sebastian more. Unfortunately, something or someone is trying to ruin their happily ever after by attacking their bar and home Vee, Rose's cat (who is also more than he appears), and Rose herself! This spitfire heroine won't let anything hurt her new family and she will use all of her new abilities to defeat this unknown attacker. With plenty of action, suspense, and very hot moments throughout, this book will keep you turning the page! I only hope we get another story with Rose and her mates.

This is an amazing read that I finished in one sitting. Forget doing anything else this took priority over everything else. It moves along at a great pace. You will fall in love with these characters there is no doubt about it. In fact, you will love them so much that you want to be there with them. They are so real, that you feel as though you know them. The story will grab you and not let you until the end and then you are wanting more, a whole lot more. This book has got to be experienced, no doubt about it.

After the first one, it looks like the guys didn’t learn their lesson. They’ve gone from possessive neglect to possessive smother. A lot of arguing and no common sense. Seriously, how old are these guys supposed to be?! Plenty of sex, some funny bits and a weird plot twist. Felt like the new characters were pushed too hard, I was already planning on reading the spell series. It was alright and I like the characters when they aren’t at each other’s throats.

Rose: Feelin Thorny

In this novel we get to see Rose & her guys after they have been together for a few months.

They even moved in her cat, Pumpkin, even though Finn says he doesn't like cats. :) We are also introduced to some new characters & new shifters.

Rose's story continues and this time it gets crazy. I loved this story because it has it all. The mystery of what is going on and you are trying to find out if they are after Rose or the Whitaker men. The stuff that happens is crazy and Rose is not going to sit back and be a damsel. Nope she is going to fight back. Then Pumpkin becomes a Vampkitty. However, we do learn more about Rose. You will laugh and feel like you were being chased too. I loved how I got sucked in the story. Let me say Finn is my favorite. Yummy, and Rose is one lucky lady. I love the ending. It pulled on my heart strings. I love Rose and her guys.

I loved this sequel and even though there were bits which were upsetting (who attacks a cat?). I guessed who was responsible early on but it was nice to understand why they did what they did. I love how protective the guys were over Rose and I also loved how she stood up to them when they were being overbearing.

*Spoiler Alert*
New Vampire Rose (FMC) and her guys Finn, Dean and Sebastian are trying to her used to her new life. Which would make more sense if youve read book 1 guys? Until someone seems to be targeting them. Laughs come in the form of Pumpkin (Roses cat) who is full of funny remarks. Made me laugh. Book 2 is just as good a read as book 1 was. Full of steamy scenes too. A great read.

P.s Will Calluna get her own book too? I really liked her character

“I’m so sad to let Rose and her men go. Falling in love with all of them was so easy and now it’s time to say goodbye to them. Though I’ve hope for another one short or long doesn’t matter. Back to the story, Rose is now a vampire and mated to Dean, Finn and Sebastian everything was perfect right? Wrong! Bad things are starting to happen and Vee is the center of the attacks! I loved how the plot and the sm*t come together. We continue to see three sexy vampires worshipping her mate and being over the top protective. We had ste*m that’s for sure but also emotions and feelings. The background plot was mysterious and yeah dangerous somehow that hooks you from the beginning.”

Help from Bestie Beasties...

Rose has the worst luck...She loves all three of her guys. They saved her from a psychopath and turned her into a vampire. She still bartends at Vee, their nightclub. Someone is targeting vampires in the town. Rose gets a huge surprise from Pumpkin.

Life will never be the same for Rose. Old and new friends are made. This book ends with a HEA..

Cute read

Another fun and cute read from the jewels Cafe series, where Rose was predictable, the second installment was less so, which means I loved it even more than book 1.

Rose and her man are adorable and Rose is the role model of a lot of woman, she loves herself and the men adore her for who she is and her body.

Go Rose! Perfect short read

Fell in love with Rose when she was a snarky, self-confident plus-sized woman. Her attraction to her guys was so endearing and Pumpkin, don’t get me started. Knowing the guys felt so hard and deep for her was so sweet. And then! Rose showed Silver Springs how kick butt she was!

Now, Rose is not to be underestimated or disregarded. She’s no shrinking violet, and it looks like the guys need reminding. Woe unto any who mess with Rose’s family, she takes no prisoners.

This follow-up to Rose from the Jewels Cafe series is great. There were awesome appearance by characters readers fell in love with over the holidays along with some new characters. If you’re looking for a delicious, campy read, hit up Rose, and then move into Rose: Feelin’ Thorny, you won’t be disappointed.

I adore these Silver Springs books! They’re funny, they’re steamy, and they’re feel-good without being too… boring, I guess for lack of better word. There’s always something going on to drive the plot, a little mystery or suspense and a bad guy.
This one’s pacing was a little off, the bad guy kidnapping, reveal, and rescue was like maybe 15 pages total (it happens very fast with most of the book being build up) and then everything is resolved and we get a very sweet, tender (much anticipated) moment and then the book is done 😅
Maybe it’s just because I love Rose & the Whitaker brothers so much, and I love Pumpkin’s involvement in this book, that I felt like it was really abrupt. But overall it’s still very enjoyable and I am looking forward to more silver springs shenanigans soon.

In the first book we saw Rose getting turned into a vampire and meeting her three mates. In this book, Rose is living with Finn, Dean and Sebastian but things aren't idyllic. Someone is messing with Vee, and when even Pumpkin is attacked, all bets are off. The culprit will face Rose's fury.

The books has a light tone, with the story flowing easily, but my favorite part was getting to hear Pumpkin speak. The only thing that I'd change though would be the culprit because it was quite obvious who it was when new supernaturals suddenly moved to Silver Springs.
