Five years ago, Brock Adams disappeared from Cedar Glen, New Jersey, never to be seen or heard from again, leaving behind his wife Faith, his daughters...and two sons under a family curse.
Give up everything. That was the deal. Give up his werewolf pack, his family and his immortality, in exchange for finally, finally ridding his sons of the deadly curse. But when a disguised Brock sneaks back into Cedar Glen, he finds the curse still very much in effect. He also bumps into Faith, who he aches for just as much now as the day he left.
Coming back was a horrible idea. Winston, his foul-tempered fairy friend, told him so. But did Brock listen? Noooo. He's listening to his heart and his libido, and both are begging for one more moment in Faith's arms.
So what if she doesn't even know it's really him? And one of his sons hates him? And he'll have to leave again? And he has a vindictive witch on his trail.

1 Star… This was surprisingly one of the most underdeveloped stories I have read in a long time… I have always enjoyed this author, but this read fell short in all ways for me… A pinnacle storyline that has underscored all previous reads in the series and the author hastily rushes through the read with no detail, build up, conflict, or real resolution… Fast paced does not even do this read justice, truly disappointing:(
I really enjoyed this book. Its wonderful to read a book that has older main characters at the center of a love story. It is fun and sexy. I hope others enjoy this one as much as I did.
Short, sweet, and kind of too much of a stretch. The ending works, but it changed the theme so much that imo it loss credibility. You can base a series on shifters, then familiars and warlocks, then suddenly throw in fairies and witches, but it loses realism entirely and takes it from romance to comic book for me. Still had fun, just a bit of a disappointment that this series seems to get shorter the farther it goes instead of longer or possibly including more plot obstacles.

Nice twist. So enjoyed this series so far and would recommend to my friends. Remember some serious sex scenes not suitable for the very young. Can't wait to read book #4.
This was a spectacular ending. I wish there were more books to this series, because these characters were a lot of fun. Dakota Cassidy always manages to make me laugh and I love it.
I did a lot of bitching while reading this. But it redeemed itself a bit in the end. This series is one I can't over-analyze. I just have to go with the flow. I'll continue with it for now.
This was a really cute, fun read with just enough spice and a few good laugh out loud moments. This series is a nice break in between heavier reads and I’m here for it! By the way...the GoodReads book covers for this series are awful! Their cliche thirst traps that don't portray the light hearted, sexy humor of this series.
This had so much potential! Brock had been missing for 5 years! He made a surprise return in the last book, so I was anxious to read this and find out where he's been, and he has a good excuse, but everything turned out to be pointless! I think Dakota Cassidy had the making's of a great story, but instead we got this crap! Why did he have to be in disguise at all? Why couldn't he just be himself? It's not like the disguise lasted long or even made much of a difference, and then the whole reason he was gone didn't mean anything! The whole thing turned out to be a mistake! WTF! So much could've happened in this! It could've been a good book, but no we just got some awkward time with him in disguise, sex (of course) and then we get to find out why everything was a mistake. I just wasted 2 hours of my life! I'm done with this series and won't be reading the next book. I'm so tired of books with too much sex and not enough story!
I read this book here and there between library books (due dates come first, lol), but I am so glad I finally got to finish it, as well as the trilogy about the Adams werewolves who were dealing with a curse of the male members of family who would die horrible deaths unless the found and mated with their mates before a certain full moon after meeting.
Brock had done some research and had left five years previously in search of a powerful witch who could break the curse on his family, it only cost him his immortality, and captivity for the rest of his life. After a chance to escape, he was able to disguise himself, and traveled back home to see if the curse was lifted.
I don't want to give anything else away, but I was very happy with this story and how everything is finally tied together!
Why this book? I really liked the other books in the series
What I thought
Brock Adams disappeared from Cedar Glen 5 years ago now he's back disguised as Eli. This wasn't my favorite book of the series, but I still enjoyed it. It was nice to know Brock had a reason for leaving his family 5 years ago and that he didn't just abandon them. I was desperately waiting for the big reveal; for Faith to finally get her husband back and Derrick and Max to get their dad back.I was happy when everything was said and done and we got the big happily ever after at the end.
Gotta Have Faith is the third installment in the Wolf Mates Series by Dakota Cassidy. This was a short read that I did not enjoy as much as the first two installments in the series. It seemed that Ms. Cassidy knew Faith deserved her own story and wanted to bring Brock back, by was in a rush to do so. It was a cute story but, there are too many gaps in explanation that I could not reconcile. I hope there are more books in this series that are more like the first book and less like this third one.
REVIEW: Brock has left is pack to get the family curse remove. Then he is held for 5 years a prisoner. He goes back to pack in disguise to save his family from the pain, that he was unable to get the curse remove. Faith knows something is more to the one called Eli. this story is a must read. Make sure you read the series in order.
OVERALL IMPRESSION OF THE BOOK: This is awesome book, another great book in the series MY RATING: 5 Hearts *****
This is the shortest story in the Wolf mates series, but it explains what happened to Max and Derrick's father who disappeared five years before. He returns in disguise to find out what's happened to his family and makes a mess of things.
I liked the way this story wrapped up the series, but I felt like some of the characters were a little too silly. Brock seems a little too bumbling to have been the pack Alpha. And Lorelei felt too childlike to have been taken seriously.
This is the third book in the Wolf Mates series and picks up right where Pussycat left off. I have been dying to get my hands on Faith and Brock's story since book 1 and Dakota Cassidy did not disappoint. Though this book is short, it's filled with the right amount of heat we've come to love and expect from Dakota Cassidy books. Loved it.
Everyone got their HEA! Faith got her husband back! The kids got their dad back. Just goes to show if there were better communication Everything would have been better! But then it would not have been the book Dakota wrote! Loved it
I love this series. Brock and Faith's story was a great way to end this series. Funny, loving, sexy and with a touch of sass. Couldn't ask for a more perfect ending.....unless she gives us more. Hint hint.
