Ashton I'm desperate. First, my "good idea at the time" revenge plan lands me in hot water. Then I total my car. A few thousand dollars in damages later, and I'm snagging a job as a phone sex operator and searching for a roommate to help with my "stay out of jail" fund. And my new roomie? The smoking hot douchebag fixing my car. What more could go wrong? O’Shea My life is a bigger mess than the totaled-out sedan I'm piecing back together. Wow!! I just got finished reading this in one sitting and im still chuckling to myself. This book is the first i have read by this author and i’ve gotta say ill be heading over to amazon to see what else i can get my hands on.
With a bad breakup fresh on her mind Ashton closes herself off to love and try’s to get by as best as she can. That is until a sexy as hell mechanic becomes her new roommate and pushes her boundries....and barriers in more ways than one. Ashton is someone every girl at some point in her life can relate to, i know i certaintly could.
O’Shea damn that man in fine! Having been through a bad breakup himself Shea, like Ashton isn’t looking for a relationship but the more time he spends with his frustrating new roommate the more he finds himself opening up to the idea that maybe love does exist after all.
Man the chemistry between these two is off the charts hot, not only that but the banter back and forth between them had me laughing out loud from the minute they met.
This author didn’t just write a story she made the story come to life, she gave me everything i could ever want in a book. I gotta admit theres a few back characters in this story i’d love to punch and i actually shouted “hell yes” when Shea did just that!

Wow! this book was so much more than I expected it to be. It was my first read of Victoria's and it had everything in it!
I laughed so hard my sides hurt, I smiled so hard my face ached and I yearned so deep for both the main characters I thought my heart was going to burst!
Ashton the unlucky in love and O'shea the embarrassed are a match made in heaven, but will they ever come to that conclusion....
I could sympathise with Ashton as we've all been through that bad break up where we lock our hearts away and promise never to love again.. and I admired O'shea and the way he carried himself after what happened to himself.
I adored both the main characters and loved the way they danced the dance and how fate decided to intervene.
If you want the smiles, the laughter and lots of steam then this is the book for you.
I for one will be reading more of Victoria's books !

I give Withholding Nothing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars. This is my first read by this author and her writing was so much more than I expected. She’s amazing at creating a world where you don’t know what to expect but it leaves you so satisfied.
Ashton and O’Shea are seriously a match made in heaven! These two together are beyond funny and I loved how their relationship developed. If you’re looking for a funny, easy going and a book that will leave you smiling of joy then this is a must-read! I pretty much liked every aspect of this book, especially the flow and chemistry between these two characters.

I just loved this book. I loved Ashton and O'Shea they were fantastic characters and they had me laughing out loud. These two have not had any luck in the love department when he proposed to his girlfriend she said no in front of all his family and friend but for me, Ashton had it worse her boyfriend proposed but to her best friend, not her the cheating ass. These two end up as roommates and the attraction between them is immediate and the banter between them is so funny. This is quite a steamy read at times I really enjoyed it and would recommend it.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review...I regret wasting my time on this book. Wasn't crazy about Ashton, wasn't crazy about O'Shea. I also like a little revenge for those who wronged you, at least a little..anyhoo, sad gave my time.

When O'Shea meets Ashton the first time it's funny as heck. The book kept getting funnier and funnier. When he ends up being her roommate and then finding out she's the one that he's been talking to on the sex line that he's been calling...boy oh boy does the book heat up.
These two have had their hearts broken will they be able to trust the other not to hurt one another? Will their pasts let them go so they can move on?
I enjoyed this book, it had a great flow, made me laugh and made me want to smack a secondary character, well actually a few of them lol

This roommates to lovers book was great. At every turn Ashton and O’Shea push and tease one another. Their interactions with one another will have you smiling along with them and when they continue to place bets with one another you can’t wait to see who will win.
Ashton is trying to move on from her cheating ex who not only left her for her best friend but is also suing her for the damage to his car. Already having trouble with rent, the money she owes her ex and now needing to fix her car she knows she needs a roommate. And when her new roommate is O’Shea everything changes.
O’Shea is trying to move on after the disaster with his ex and when he finds an ad for a roommate he applies. And when it is Ashton who comes for the interview he can’t wait to see what happens next. But what he isn’t expecting is for his hot new roommate to be the phone sex operator he has been talking to.

Wow! This book defiantly was not what I was expecting. It was so much more.
In this book Ashton has been publicly humiliated by her ex and ex-best friend, forced to pay $10,000 to her ex for damages and lost her job because of his actions and her reactions. Ashton has no choice. To make money she is forced to work as a phone sex operator and to stay in her apartment she is forced to take on a roommate. To make matters worse she hits a deer in her car and now has to pay to have that fixed as well. Can her luck get any worse? Apparently so.
The only decent response to her roommate add in the mechanic she hates. Then the icing on the cake.....the one caller who can really make her cum and is the star of all her dreams turns out to be none other than her room mate. Damn! What happens when real and fantasy are now blurred?
This is the first book by Victoria Bright that I have read. It was interesting and a different sort of twist on the romance world. It through me for a loop and captured my attention from the start. It was a steady paced read with alluring characters. I enjoyed the banter between the two main characters and really enjoyed watching them go from hating one another to an explosive love affair. It is a hot and steamy read. It was so funny that I laughed till tears pooled in my eyes. I was surprised at how the book turned out, as it was not what I expected. Very entertaining from start to finish. 5 stars from me. :)

Addictiveness: Highly addictive!!! I couldn't put down this book. I almost read in one sitting. I only stopped to sleep and woke up to finish.
Character: hero 5/5, heroine 5/5, secondary characters 5/5, growth 5/5, real 5/5 I love them all. O'Shea is dreamy. Really, that man is book-boyfriend material. He his hot, dirty, sweet, caring, I could be here all day saying all his good qualities. He has dealt with a bad situation and somehow found a way to start over better. Ashton is also awesome. She was really easy to relate and connect. She was in a tough spot when meeting O'Shea, but she all she needed was the right person to help her turn into a butterfly. She came out totally on top by the end of the book. I love her friends, I love Rocky and Alex. I even liked the parents. Really, so many multi-dimensional characters that we would love to know more.

Perfect conflict and dialogues well written. Fast-paced with a couple of good subplots. A very steamy romance with a few bumps thrown in the way.
Romance: believable 5/5, chemistry 5/5, description 5/5, development 5/5, steam 5/5 YES!!! This is hot hot hot hot hot! Really cold-shower kind of hot. Felt like jumping my husband after reading it. So many amazing scenes and the description was perfect. Fanning myself, just thinking about it.

Cute read
I stumbled upon your book while stalking another author and bought your book immediately. I'm glad i did because this was great to read and very adorable. I have to admit there were a few inconsistencies ,there are a few times i wished certain ideas were expanded upon, and i wished it was proofread a couple more times. Also the formating could've been double checked as well but i certainly don't regret reading this story.

Ashton and O'shea are recovering from bad breakups and humiliation. They both were in long term relationships that ended bad. O'shea proposed to his girlfriend of 5 years in front of fiends and family. She said no, but her reasons were because they came from different tax brackets. He was a mechanic. Ashton's boyfriend of 4 years cheated with one of her best friends. He then proposed to her in front of Ashton. Ashton did some not so nice things to his car and possessions that in the end causing her to get into heavy debt. Plus after finding out her ex boyfriend and best friend are now expecting, she gets drunk and wrecks her car.(not smart). She get fired from her job and ends up as a phone sex operator. Her friends suggest a roommate to help offset her debts. In comes O'shea. Their first meeting leaves a lot to be desired but once they got past that things progressed pretty fast. Both characters were likable with a lot of chemistry between them. The story was good. There was tension and drama. There were some laughs among the drama. There also were some things that bothered me. In the first half of the book, race was not brought up. In the second half, it was mentioned a few times. it was bought into things with the exes and the jokes at the family dinner. The family dinner was not so bad but the exes were a little over the top. Another dislike was Ashton's ex, Steve. He needed to suffer more than bruises. Other than that, I enjoyed the book.

Withholding Nothing by Victoria Bright is the first book I have read by her, and I really enjoyed it. I will admit that my interest was piqued with the fact that it had a hot mechanic and my husband is a mechanic SOO I was sold :)
This is a roommates to lovers romance. Ashton and O'Shea. Both of these characters are coming out from a very bad breakup. Ashton has basically hit rock bottom, she is in a tight spot so she embarks on a phone sex career to help earn some money and keep a roof over her head. O'Shea is a mechanic that Ashton can't stand, but she needs a roommate and he was the most decent one so she jumped at the chance. Imagine her surprise when O'Shea turns out to be the caller that is the star in all her hot and dirty fantasies :)
Overall, this was a really cute read for me. The banter between the characters is great and I loved the fact that this story features an interracial couple. I really think that Ms. Bright was able to take a sub genre like roommates to lovers and craft into an entirely new light. This was a great read for me and I look forward to more from this author.

Excellent simple romance from hate to love, but exciting
The story is very well written, simple. It remains exciting thanks to the mixed couple of heroes. The two main characters are excellent, sometimes ironic.
They are both coming out of a difficult break up in which they have been humiliated. When they meet, Ashton hates O'Shea because she has just lost a lawsuit against her ex and O'Shea is incisive because of the situation in which he meets her. He is a mechanic and she just had an accident. She is in no mood to let a man talk to her that way. Their first contact is difficult, but they meet again when he becomes her new roommate.
Ashton works from home, as a sex operator on a phone service. For a few days, she has been aroused by the voice of one of her clients. The story is very well written, simple. It remains exciting thanks to the mixed couple of heroes. The two main characters are excellent, sometimes ironic.
They are both coming out of a difficult break up in which they have been humiliated. When they meet, Ashton hates O'Shea because she has just lost a lawsuit against her ex and O'Shea is incisive because of the situation in which he meets her. He is a mechanic and she just had an accident. She is in no mood to let a man talk to her that way. Their first contact is difficult, but they meet again when he becomes her new roommate.

Withholding Nothing may be my first book I have read by Victoria Bright, but now I am excited to say I have a new author to add to my MUST READ list! When I started this book, I wasn't sure how I felt about the characters. Ashton was kind of a brat and too wrapped up in herself. O'Shea was trying too hard to be a smug player. I really didn't care for either of them. As the story progressed, their personalities came out more as I realized they were just acting out over being hurt in the past. O'Shea was the exact opposite of how he originally acted. Ashton was better, but still had her "poor me" moments. However, the story relied too much on sex and the drama created by their crazy ex's. This made points in the book that I just wanted to skip over as been there done that.

An enjoyable well written interracial roometes to lovers romance. It has witty banter, intense chemistry, and sizzling phone conversations. Ashton and O'shea both just recently experienced humiliating relationships end up roomates. With money problems and temporary living arrangements, having a roommate was their best choice. O'Shea is a mechanic that Ashton can't stand but she needs a roommate. Ashton is in a tight spot so she embarks on a phone sex career to help earn some money and keep a roof over her head. The banter between the characters is great,
Imagine her surprise when O'Shea turns out to be the caller that is the star in all her hot and dirty fantasies. Drama added in gives you added interest in this enjoyable relationship.

Victoria Bright takes the roommates to lovers trope and gives it a shiny, new spin. She puts Ashton through the wringer more than once but rewards her well. Ashton was a fun character to read. The girl went through a lot and despite it all, she does what she has to and ends up winning in the end. Little secret? I wasn’t a fan of O’Shea in the beginning, but he grew on me quickly. The push and pull between Ashton and O’Shea was pretty great - a bit angsty, fun and steamy.

This was my first book by Victoria Bright and I'm so glad that I did. Ashton has been burned not only from her ex fiancee but her ex best friend too when she finds out they have been together behind her back. So after she completely destroys his car she has to pay him back and working as a phone sex operator pays well but not enough. So she looks for a roomate. Pages been burned also his ex choose money over him so he packs up and moves before everyone starts talking. These two were amazing to watch funny but steamy. I loved this whole book. I can't wait for more those friends need there he's two.

So much to love about this book! Ashton and O'Shea haven't had the best luck in the love department, but things are looking up when he discovers the foxy phone sex operator he's been chatting with is his new roommate AND their in-person chemistry is off the charts. Loved this part: "How did I feel about her? I had her flowery scent imprinted in my mind. Her warmth gave me peace... She made me feel alive again." It's not all sappy, this book is full of sass, snark, and funny banter. Loved that the hero is a strong, sexy black man!

The 2 main characters have both recently been rejected by their lovers and through twists and turns end up meeting each other and forming a romantic bond. As with most romantic stories nothing is smooth and uneventful. This is a well written novel that has wonderfully fleshed out characters that the reader is able to identify with and root for. The dialogue between the two is wonderfully written being believable and witty.

They both were working hard to manage their broken hearts and didn't want life's harsh realities staring at the after few intimate moments.
It was a good read, cheating Ex seemed very nasty to Ashton, which seemed very unreal/ melodramatic to be true.
Super hot chemistry between lead characters were main highlights of book. Book has been written nicely.

OH my stars! Where to start with this one! This is the first time I have read this author and I am blown away! I laughed. I swooned. And I really wanted to throw things! This book is an emotional ride of trying to move on, find your place in life and so much more. With Ashton, you have this really sassy girl who gives as good as she gets and when she breaks, all hell breaks loose. Even if that ends up her in hot water. That hot water leads her to O’Shea. Then by chance things develop so much more between them as they start out as roommates and things heat up. I think the best part of this story is the banter between Ashton and O’Shea. I was in stitches as they throw it back and forth between each other. The whole sex operator stuff, well that was utterly priceless. Trust me, you need to read this one to know what I mean when things take an interesting turn!
Overall, this book had it all, angst, passion and witty characters. I really wanted to squish Ashton’s ex and ex friend like a bug in this one. Ohhhh does Bright give us some nasty exes in this one. O’Shea’s included. There was a lot of roller coaster moments but it turned out to be a really beautiful story! I highly recommend this one!

A fairly predictable romance. My surprise was to learn that O'Shea was black and that was only when the n* word was bought up by Ashton's ex. (I completely missed the book cover which would have been a bit hint. Duh!) There is not much in the way of physical descriptors re any of the characters, except for Ashton's father, which was why I was thinking O'Shea was Irish. Liked the chemistry between the H and h.

These two start of as roommates who are both dealing with ex’s and trying to move on with their lives.
