Ariana gives us a strangers to lovers romance that definitely belongs in K. Bromberg's Driven series. The emotional rollercoaster that you ride will have your stomach in knots and your heart missing a couple of beats. Be prepared for a love story that is like no other and highly addictive.
Twisted introduces us to Eli, a successful businessman that runs the family company with his father and grandfather. He is dealing with the heartache of a divorce that happened almost two years ago. He is slowly putting his life back together with the help of his wingman Wes, aka Mav. As you can guess Eli is Goose to his Mav. While out one night with his sister Hayley and Wes he meets a beautiful young lady and cannot keep his eyes off her. He gets the courage to ask her to dance and it turns into her dragging him outside for a quick good time. The only problem is that Eli wants more, doesn't know her name and she leaves the club. He is determined to find out who she is. Mush to his surprise he sees her again while he is doing a lecture at a local college. He convinces her to apply for an intern job at his company. Well here is where the fun starts. Can they keep it professional? When they hit some bumps in the road, how will they handle it? Wil the age gap becomes something that is one of those bumps? He does everything he can to make her life everything that she could imagine but is it enough?
Dylan seemed like a carefree spirit when she meets Eli. She is having some fun at the club when she meets Eli and decides to have a one-night stand. Her family is well known in the business world and wants her to follow in the business. The problem is that she has always wanted to be a dancer and she is very good at it. While at college she sees she one-night stand, Eli as he is the presenter at her lecture. Things get hot again but at the same time, Eli suggests that she apply for an intern job at his company. Dylan decides to apply and does get the job. How will she and Eli deal with being at work together? Will his company accept her? How will her dancing fit into all of this?
The chemistry between Eli and Dylan is intense. They seemed to be perfect for each other. I loved how attentive Eli was and how Dylan helped him find himself and piece him back together. Ariana gives us a story of two people that will do anything for each other. Her secondary characters Hayley and Wes play a big role in both Eli and Dylan's lives. I look forward to the next installment in this series as I need to see what happens because the cliffhanger at the end of this one will have your jaw hitting the floor.

Holy smokes this romance was epic! And it was done in true K Bromberg fashion. Eli is still living in the world a heartbreak from his divorce. He hasn't even been able to take off his ring and it has been a few years. When his best friend Wes forces him to go on a night out he meets Dylan, nicknamed Viper, on the dance floor and right away he is mesmerized. They dance, they connect, and they let their walls down slowly with each other. She becomes a part of his personal and business world but they have to keep it hush hush. As they learn more about each other the feelings they both didn't plan on grow stronger. Events make them question everything and before the truth of their love can be exposed to each other life throws in a wrench that could prevent their happiness from coming true. This was an epic romance and a wild ride. And this part of a duet. But don't be afraid. You won't be left on a cliffhanger. But you will be wanting more. Especially from supporting characters. I have to admit Eli's best friend Wes was my favorite and I want more of him. But these main characters will be your new favorite couple. Eli is the man everyone should want. Dylan is the woman that will blow your mind. And talk about steamy! Holy smokes! Get ready for the pages to heat up. This book is part of K Bromberg's Driven World and Ariana Rose does it justice. These are characters that belong in this world. And fans will love the appearances by original favorites. This is a must read. I want more...now!

Twisted by Ariana Rose is set in the Driven World created by K. Bromberg. This story is one heck of an emotional rollercoaster ride of a journey full of twists and turns, and I devoured it!
Elijah is beautifully broken, yet starting to build up the pieces of himself again when we first see him, and he is so infinitely loveable! He's caring, charming, devoted, and can definitely handle some dirty talk!
And then there's Dylan, a whirlwind in her own right. Uncompromisingly true to herself, and that sheer strength of will and keen insight into the human psyche and what makes people tick is incredibly attractive even as it makes you squirm just a little.
From their very first meeting to each and every single interaction these two have, I am always hungry for that next exchange, hanging onto their every word, wanting to continue to be swept up in their world.
And may I just say, the secondary characters are phenomenal, and I want all of their stories too! Wes and Hayley especially!

4.5 Stars for Twisted ( Desire Duet, #1; The Driven World).
This is the first book I have read by this author and it certainly won’t be the last, this book fits perfectly into The Driven World and I’m excited to see where the second part of this duet takes us.
Elijah has lived on autopilot foe a couple of years, his wife left him broken and feeling betrayed and now his life consists of just work, there is no room, time or trust when it comes to relationships.
His family twist his arm into coming to the Hamptons for some relaxation and that’s when he meets a woman who sets his heart fluttering but just like a butterfly she was there, then she was gone.....
The last person Dylan expects to meet at the class she attends is the man she had a fleeting visit with the other night and she is even more surprised when he convinces her to apply for an internship at his family business. Both Elijah and Dylan carry a lot of baggage so can they join together to mend the hurt from the past ......
This book ticked my boxes, it’s emotional, is witty, the chemistry is off the charts, it’s full of twists and turns as this couple try to navigate a way to a HEA and it has adorable characters. Looking forward to reading more from this very talented author.

WOW!
I've decided to give this book 3.5 stars, because of the characters and plot.
I love the characters and their chemistry. Elijah is dealing with so much stuff from his past relationship and it takes the right girl to help him. That girl is Dylan, a passionate dancer. The two of them melt the pages in their chemistry.
The plot is fantastic. I love how these characters grow stronger together and apart. With Elijah and his failed marriage, this is his second opportunity at love, so he better not fail. JK, I love Elijah and all his flaws.
This shows a story of two people who show that their pasts do not define their future.

Holy cow this book was Amazing! Elijah is still Grieving two years after his marriage ended. He Is successful in his family business and is very close to his family. Dylan has a love and passion for dance that her parents don’t understand. Dylan and Elijah meet at a club, it was extremely hot and sexy right away. They both had to work through a lot of emotional baggage to admit how they really felt. I laughed And teared up while reading this book. It was an incredible emotional read. I will Definitely be reading more books by this author.

I'm a fan of Ariana Rose, so I know her talent, and yet, I NEVER saw Twisted coming to be honest. From cover to cover & everything in between, there was so much goodness to be experienced. Elijah hasn't been right after betrayal killed his marriage, and he's been a tad broken since. His best friend talks him into a night out when he comes face to face with Dylan the first time, and the sparks are flying. Like I mean they were actually palpable which is a big time gift. Those sparks won't be denied for long, but Elijah is gun shy, while Dylan has her own issues, but when they give in, HOLY HELL! Turn your fan on high because it gets leveled up HOT HOT HOT! On the flip side, you'll get punched hard in the feels which had me wanting to hug each of them. Anyway, I'm not saying a ton because I really want everyone to go in blindly for it to pop even more for you. I CANNOT WAIT for the next book and HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

Get your tissues
I enjoyed this book, quite a bit. The emotional depth of both characters was impressive. I should warn you though, you’re going to need your tissues. The story is about a man whose marriage fails miserably leaving him feeling empty and alone. He meets someone, and although she’s younger than him and not likely someone he would choose as a partner, there’s just something about her. He finds a new outlook on life, but that’s right about when you’ll need tissues.

Holy hotness, this entry into the Driven World by Ariana Rose sizzles with sexual tension and passion. The chemistry between Elijah and Dylan is palpable in Twisted. I've read this author's backlist and this is the hottest most sensual book she's written yet to date.
Elijah is a man broken by the betrayal of his wife. For two years he's lived on autopilot, going to work and coming home to the apartment where he found his wife in bed with another man. His dream of the life he wanted shot to hell, he shuts himself off from everything but work. Finally agreeing to spend time with the family in the Hamptons, his best friend drags him to a club where he meets a gorgeous enigma who jumpstarts his heart. But as quickly as he's infatuated, she's gone.
However, doing a favor covering for a friend by covering his business course, Dylan is front and center in the class. Elijah coaxes her to apply for an internship at his family's company, which she does, and the spark ignites to a raging inferno. Together they melt to fill the broken parts of each other's souls.
Dylan is young but she knows that while she may be good in the business world, her heart lies in dance. Sadly her father, a business mogul, doesn't support her dream. She is not close to her family, unlike Elijah who is very family oriented. So much happens in this age gap romance, character driven story. While the couple is magnetic, both of them are smart and their banter is flirty and fun to read and the sexy times are off the charts. Unfortunately, the road to an HEA for this couple is full of pot holes and detours and the author does an excellent job getting them to their destination after putting everyone through the wringer. Elijah is having to rebuild his life. He’s decided that he wants to experience something new and he takes us along for the ride. Dylan seems like a very self-assured young woman. She loves being a woman who knows what she wants and won’t make any excused because of it.
You will find that the author is good at leaving some things to the reader’s imagination. This is a way that the reader can make a scene hot or scorching hot. But the way she creates her scenes makes it very easy to fill in the blanks. This is a story that has an age gap but if it weren’t for the characters letting me know that, I wouldn’t even be able to tell.
Some people don’t like books told in the first person but it’s a great way to get the characters impressions of the other person. We also get to experience what they’re thinking and feeling. The only thing, for me, was I wish I had more of Dylan’s thoughts on things. Elijah and Dylan’s tale is my first experience with this author. Twisted is about how life can be twisted. How it hits in the most unexpected moment. Like a sucker punch and this what happens with Elijah.
Elijah is still stuck in the past. His failed marriage and can’t see past it. Until Dylan enters the picture at the club and makes him revaluate everything when he tells she should come to his family business and work for them as their paths cross again in a professional capacity.
It’s sounds like heaven for Dylan who trying to push herself into dutiful daughter and make a relationship with her family. She is the opposite of Elijah. She is very aware of her life and wishes to have a family like Elijah so when he offers a chance for an itnership. It seems that these two will be working quarter and force to address the growing tension
It’s sound crazy given that they have sexual tension that could raise the roof. Why would you want a potential lover so close given that your emotions are going haywire after feeling empty for so long and your soul awakes to this new potential lover.
These two rebuilt each other in ways that they didn’t expect. They both are driven and it means that they know to deal with everything but their relationship which has plenty of drama and twists given the barriers. It’s twisted like the title promises and Rose definitely drives their story how and lets their love win with a hard fought battle.

Elijah and Dylan's story is one you don't want to miss. Elijah's past has changed him then he meets Dylan and his world is twisted in the best way possible. There are all sorts of different circumstances that make their relationship a complicated one, but when you find the part of your soul you were missing, a true partner in every way, you fight for it and don't give up. You realize you are a better person and so you will do anything to keep it, but life sometimes hurts you and you need to find your true self to stand up. This book is more than a romance, is a way to show you how to stand up and fight for what you truly want, that there is always someone that will fight with you and be there for you no matter what, that you deserve to be happy and live your own life. Having old beloved characters in this story makes it more special. I love this new Driven World book, and if you love the series you should read this one, because it's just brilliant and perfect for any Driven fan, it will grab you from the start and won't let you go until the end and then you need more, can't wait for next book.

Ariana Rose is like a hidden gem. Twisted took me by surprise and wouldn't let go until the very end. Elijah is one of those characters that just kind of grows on you. He's broken and bruised and really just needs to let go of the past. , a great guy with lots of heartache he's still carrying around. When he least expects it, Dylan appears in his life. The two are different yet there's no denying the chemistry that's between them. Eli needs someone like Dylan in his life to help him move on and Dylan needs someone like Eli to keep her in line. The two of them compliment one another so well, yet they're so different.

Beautifully written
I have never read Ariana Rose before but now I know who to add to my list of great authors. I enjoyed the flow of Twisted, the characters are wonderful and the plot.
Elijah is a divorcee who is still going through the motions 18 months after his divorce. The way his family and friends care for him was amazing. They gave him the needed push but did not push him away. One night, Elijah sees a vision in white and his funk starts to chip away.
The vision in white- Dylan Cooper! She is just what Elijah needs to get him out of this funk. They are two opposites but they click from the first contact. The click leads to an epic romance.
I am excited to find out what happens next in book 2 - will it be more of Dylan and Elijah or will Wes or Haley have a chance.
Of course, as this is a Driven World novel, my favourite couple is mentioned and even a slight appearance - Colton and Rylee Donovan!! I just love Colton!!
Reasons I enjoyed this book:

I have never read Ariana Rose before but now I know who to add to my list of great authors. I enjoyed the flow of Twisted, the characters are wonderful and the plot.
Elijah is a divorcee who is still going through the motions 18 months after his divorce. The way his family and friends care for him was amazing. They gave him the needed push but did not push him away. One night, Elijah sees a vision in white and his funk starts to chip away.
The vision in white- Dylan Cooper! She is just what Elijah needs to get him out of this funk. They are two opposites but they click from the first contact. The click leads to an epic romance.

It took me a while to really get into this book, but once I did I could NOT put if down. This is all about second chances at love, letting someone in, deciding if the possibility of a broken heart is worth the risk in the end, .. And it's just so beautiful.
I really connected with both of our characters, but I really adored Elijah. This poor man just wanted a love like he's seen his parents have his entire life, and just when he thinks he has it, it's ripped away from him in a blink of an eye. Elijah is still stuck in the past and drowning in what-ifs; he lives in the same house he shared with his wife, he still even wears his wedding ring (cue all the tears) he just can't move on from what he thought they had -- and then Dylan literally blows into his life and makes him lose control in all the best ways. I just adored these two together!
Filled with so much heat, emotion and twists, this is definitely an amazing book! I will continue to read this author from now on!

This is the first book I have read by the author and it will not be the last. This is one storyline riddled with tension and passion between Elijah and Dylan once you get past the first half of the book. The beginning chronicles how Elijah is dealing with the demise of his marriage after being divorced for two years. Dylan is a woman who is not following her passion as she is doing the “right/acceptable thing” by working in business. She does not have her family’s support, unlike Elijah who is family oriented with parents that are very proud of the man he has become. When Elijah catches Dylan’s eye at a club, it is as if an invisible force is pulling him towards her and he does not want to break its hold. Both characters have some issues to work through to finally get to where they can trust enough to open up. They are definitely put through their paces. Overall, this is one emotional read, filled with wit and twists and turns as the title implies. I volunteered to read a copy of this book.

This book is one heck of an emotional roller-coaster! A journey full of many twists and turns.
Elijah is a broken shell of his former self, but we see that quickly change as he meets Dylan who is true to herself, doesn't take shit from anyone and despite having baggage of her own, rises above it to be the strong woman she is.
From their very first meeting, to each interaction they have, the passion,chemistry and ultimately love leaps off the page at you!
Arianna writes so beautifully that all the secondary characters seem as though they are just as important to the story as Eli and Dylan.
The Story is beautiful, at times tragic, unbelievably heartwarming and has a powerful message. Be ready with your kleenex and nice big glass of water, you'll be going between crying to trying to cool yourself off from the steam these two create! 🥵

This one was a cute story. A majority of the story is told from Eli's POV. Eli is a man who has his life in order married his college sweetheart, went into the family business and now ready for the next step Parenthood. But then he is thrown for a loop when he catches his wife in bed with her boss. A couple years later he is living his life in a fog work, sleep and run. After so many times of turning down his friend Wes to go out he does and that start his expedition to turn his life around. One night out clubbing he runs into Dylan who after a couple hours turns his life around but then she disappears. Then helping his college professor fate bring Dylan to him as she is a student in the class. The two embark on a journey where they both show each other they can have what they want and more. It was a great storyline and had wonderful characters.

Elijiah has had the rug ripped out from under him, he was living his dream look forward to starting a family with Tori, who he adored and love with his whole being.
In the blink of an eye, his soul was shattered and she was gone, he was left to pickup the piece on his own. He has an amazing family that have been a great example of love, between his parents, grandparents, sister Hayley, and best friend Wes - he has thrown himself into family and work. It’s been 3 years and he has not removed his wedding ring, changed the apartment she decorated, nor has he started to move forward with his life after Tori. Until Dylan, who comes in and steals his heart, but neither are really ready for that as they are in very different places in life due to an age gap, yet they’re falling. A shake in that foundation starts a turn of events that they may never come back from.Ariana is new to me and this book kept me drawn in and turning the page.

When you are use to avoiding all aspects of your past in fear of it repeating and then you unexpectedly meet someone who sees YOU. Can you trust this time to be different or will history repeat itself?!?! Is your penguin still out there?
“I’d rather hear I choose you than I love you. Love can have conditions. You can love someone and not choose them. Choosing is investing.”
The next dance begins in The Desire Duet with Entwined ...it can’t release soon enough!

I've read several of the Driven World books now, because I've fell in love with the world, the characters, and the stories they've given us.
Twisted was a little different to the others I've read. Yes, Colton makes a brief appearance, his charity work is announced, but there isn't a racing background like I've read with the other books, which I've come to love and expect. However, Eli and Dylan have their own story. They've both got insecurities, and quite rightly so, and they're both trying to figure out their path in life. I found the first half of the book quite slow, it took me a while to get through it. The second half was a much faster pace, a blast from the past stirs the pot between Eli and Dylan, and things quickly spiral. That's the bit I found the most interesting in the book.
All in all, it's a good romance story. If, like me, you've been sucked into the Driven world then do give it a go.

This was my first book by Ariana and it sucked me right in! Elijah was betrayed by his former wife and is still reeling from her actions. He goes out to a club one night where her meets the passionate Dylan. Sparks fly consistently between these two from their first meeting and into their sultry love scenes. Elijah agrees to help teach a class where none other than Dylan is enrolled in. Dylan and Elijah are opposites in many ways. Dylan loves dance and doesn't want the path her business mogul family has laid out for her while Elijah is tight with his family. Both characters I found to be likeable and I loved the age gap aspect of the book. I can't wait for the second half of this exciting duet to release and think this is an amazing addition to the Driven world!

When Dylan attends her business class the last person she expected to see was Elijah. She hasn’t forgotten their previous encounter but she never expected to see him again especially when he is her guest teacher and he offers her the opportunity she can’t turn down.
The chemistry between them radiates off the pages, the characters are captivating, their journey filled with emotion as they face not only the challenges in the present but from the past as well.

**3.5** This book started off really slow for me. I was interested, then lost interest, then half way through it picked back up. Elijah has been divorced for two years and hasn’t handled it very well. His friends and family have encouraged him to get back out there. They want him to start enjoying life again. One night out he meets a beautiful woman named Dylan and the hook up. He thinks he’ll never see her again. But of course, he does. Dylan is a dancer and a marketing major. Her dream is in dancing but her family insists that she go into the family business. Dylan and Elijah have a fun relationship until a misunderstanding ruins everything. This book ends on a cliffhanger and I can’t wait to see how the rest of the story plays out

This book really got to me. From the love Elijah that he lost that he did not realize he never had until he found it. To the family Dylan was to scared to dream of having that she would discover had adopted her without her even knowing it till she felt it's true power and embrace.
There was plenty of steam, some great banter and the no filter honesty was magnificent.
I really really enjoyed reading every bit of this story and can't wait to see where their journey leads them next.

Omg what? There is so much that happens in just the short amount a pages. I was completely sucked in from start to finish. THIS is only the first book in the series and first book that I have read by this author. I am in shock.
Dylan and Elijah are a beautiful couple that has lots of passion and started off right in the beginning, to me it didn’t feel rushed like some books that you may read.
I’m for sure going to have to read the rest of the series if its going to be as good as the first one.

Twisted is a great addition to the Driven World and first book in the duet.
Elijah divorced two years ago and it still affects him greatly. He finds himself coming alive again, though, as he spends time with Dylan. As they get twisted up in each other it becomes more and more obvious how strong their connection is. There is a lot for them to work through, and I thought the author did a nice job with building their relationship and making the conflicts interesting.
