Tarot Arcana Mysteries #2

Justice Found and Lost

Don't ask the cards a question - if you're not ready for the answer

I reconnected with two of my five soulmates from a previous lifetime 7000 years ago, so there are three more - somewhere, out there. While I help one soulmate clear up his past by talking to his dead ex-wife, I asked the cards to help us find my third soulmate.

Yep, I just had to ask. It seemed like such a good idea at the time.

What I got is a semi-corrupt sheriff who is bound and determined to set us up for a murder we didn’t commit, at the same time that an ex-military professional hitman is trying to kill us and we have no idea why. And you thought you had problems.

About that third soulmate? Let's just say, he isn't the man of my dreams, literally. The man I see now is nothing like what I remember him being like, 7000 years ago. The problem is, he may not be what I expected, but now he's like a brother to my other two mates.

My heart says Hell No, while his aura says he's falling for me - real hard. So I have to stop this train-wreck, but pulling this thread out could unravel everything.

That's presuming, of course, we find out why we're being hunted and live long enough to see the next sunrise. Even the dead are telling me the odds aren't in our favor.

Don't ask the cards a question if you're not ready for the answer - that was my tarot instructor's second lesson. I really should've listened.

Justice Found and Lost is a Reverse-Harem Paranormal Romance featuring multiple love interests, a slow burn focusing on emotional connections with a steamy fade to black, and the reincarnation of the oldest recorded reverse harem story in human history. Oh yeah, and lots of tarot cards. This is the second book in the Tarot Arcana Mysteries series.

I dont understand what she has against Bo. She has instant love with both Shay and Yuki but when she gets to Bo shes "not feeling it". She keeps saying she cant get past a gut feeling and that she needs to shut it down but she never says why? She doesnt talk about being physical attracted to him and even talks about it feeling like an arranged marriage. (I cant help but think its cos hes black) even tho she states that she doesnt see skin colour more auro colour.

Quote: "I need strong mates; ones who know what to do, who will shield me from danger. Not mates who are helpless.
Even Bo is worthless right now."

I dont like Dee personality. Unsure if i will continue this story after this book.
EDIT: got to the end and while Im still annoyed at Dee for being an idiot im to curious to see who else will join here as a soulmate.

Awesome follow up book!

The author totally went deep into Dee and the guys’ feelings in this book and even showed the her totally human fallibility - the fact that she couldn’t hold her judgement of someone back. And the fallout of that judgement. But that said, there was less instalove and more work going into a relationship despite a 7000 year old soulmate connection. The mystery and suspense was way more of a plot point than the relationship aspect. Not a bad thing as it was interesting but the romance element seemed to take a back seat. The book also focused on Dee’s powers and increasing them as well as the tarot was definitely a large part of the storyline.

Definitely looking forward to the next book in the series and see who the next of the husbands is found!

This is book two of the Tarot Arcana Mysteries series and the main character is Dee (Delphine) Arsenia who can see people’s auras and reads tarot cards, as well as speak to the dead. In the first book she realised she had past lives with five brothers, where she was a Hindu queen called Draupadi and the men were all her soulmates. She is now having dreams of the third soulmate she needs to find, the second oldest brother, known as Bhima back then. She, Shay Hollande and Yuri (Yuriah) Stillwell have travelled to Arizona to see if they can uncover any information to free Yuri of the accusation of murder against him, but he is taken by the police as soon as they land! She has an interview arranged in Pheonix with a TV show, about her part in stopping the Grandpa Killer in Maryland. They are all staying at Yuri’s brother Jacob’s house while in Arizona, but still need to go out to Yuri’s former home to try and contact his dead ex-wife Bessie. After Yuri is released, his lawyer advises him not to go anywhere near Pueblo County, which the possibly corrupt Sheriff Walker runs and who seems to be eager to get Yuri locked up for a murder he didn’t commit.
Her gran had told her to seek out a spiritual guide out in the wilderness of Sedona, a shaman, at an energy vortex. Shame her gran didn’t give her any more clues or directions than that. Just that she would know it when she saw it! She doesn’t bother telling her two soulmates to look out for the blue cactus, as that might make her seem a bit crazy. The shaman tells her to be careful what she asks for, as she may not like what she gets! And that is certainly the case when she finds her third soulmate Bo. She struggles for any sexual connection or love towards this latest soulmate and almost allows him to leave, refusing to get past how alike he is to her first love Ray. Her other soulmates have quickly made a brotherly bond with Bo and don’t understand her reluctance to connect with him, knowing he is definitely one of her soulmates. Bo it seems is falling for her hard and expects the same relationship she has with Shay and Yuri, but she is reluctant to talk to him and let him down. Not when they have more pressing issues, like someone trying to kill them and prices on their heads! It all links back to Bessie’s murder, as well as some others, and information Bessie hid in Yuri’s home. Someone from Yuri’s past is involved and plays a deadly part in what happens to them all. Dee needs to get over her fears of the past and the powers she has yet to uncover, that her gran has hinted she has for some time, and get real with herself and all of her soulmates, whoever they are. Another fascinating tarot card reading led adventure for Dee and her soulmates. I can’t wait to see who the fourth and fifth soulmates might be! I received an ARC copy of this book from BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.

In this book Dee starts a journey with Shay and Yuri, both looking for her other soulmates as trying to find out what happened to Yuri's ex-wife. Both these quests make this a book filled with action, suspense and soulsearching.

I'm a little on the fence with this book. I loved the action and suspense and all the unexpected twists and turns that were thrown around finding out what happened to Yuri's ex-wife. I also enjoyed the developping brotherly relationships between Shay, Yuri and Bo (her third soulmate) and the fact that bonding with him again wasn't as easy as it was with the other two guys. I did have a hard time with Dee's attitude throughout the book though. It felt as if she was playing judging judy towards Bo and I really didn't like that. Luckily for me that got resolved by the end of the book, and while I still believe she could have handled it better, it makes it possible for me to pass onto the next book of this series.

I really like the fact that this harem builds gradually, so I am looking forward to find out who her other two soulmates will be, and what else will happen while looking for them.

Between being framed for murder, dodging an assassin and finding a lost love, our heroine definitely has her hands full.

This is book two of the series. I recommend starting at the beginning of this one.

This is a paranormal romance with a reverse harem theme. That being said, there is no on-screen steamy scenes, so take that as you will. The story is well written and easy to read of the sort that grabs you from the start and doesn't let go, making such mundane things as eating, work and sleep very difficult. Both the characters and the setting are well developed with lots of detail. We get some more of each in this book, which is great. Overall, the series continues to build and I am looking forward to the next book.

Highly recommended.

Dee couldn't believe how annoying and exasperating her two idiots were they were arguing over who was sitting next to her.
This is a brilliant book because this adds juicy rid bits to the story that keep it from being dry an boring.
I've read my fair share of reviews were people were upset and totally dissed the main characters because they didn't have the right personalites, that they weak and whiny.
Characters should have all manners of flaws it's like adding seasoning and a dash of colors.
I simply Adore Dee and her two side kicks they have a delight repertoire between them.
With that said I simply couldn't go to bed without finishing this book and oh wow I'm even more excited for the next book.

“I reconnected with two of my five soulmates from a previous lifetime 7000 years ago, so there are three more - somewhere, out there.”

The author went more into Dee and the guys, more in depth about their personalities, feelings and it makes them seem more human. I also liked that is wasn’t instant love, they are working towards that but it is progressing more normally, or as normally as soulmates will progress.

Dee starts this book with Shay and Yuri, both looking for her other soulmates and trying to piece together what happened to Yuri's ex-wife. These pursuits make this book an action packed story filled with suspense and soul searching.

This is the second book in the Tarot Arcane Mysteries series. It's a fast-paced reverse harem paranormal story. Steamy and entertaining, I'm really enjoying this series. You really need to read the first book in the series before starting this one. It's the continuing story of Delphine "Dee" and her men. So far Dee has found two of her soulmates, Shay and Yuri but she still has to find the other three while also trying to find out what happened to Yuri's ex-wife and try to clear his name. This story was a crazy from beginning to end, Loved it!

I enjoyed this one just as much as I enjoyed the first book in the series. It was impossible to put down as I followed the plot's twists and turns, trying to figure out what was going to happen next and who the next soulmate was going to be. There were ups and downs and I loved every minute of this book. The characters were fantastic and the plot, along with the growing backstory keeps adding more and more to the work. So ready to jump into book no 3.

Five out of Five stars.

Interesting. Still maintain theme from first book. Dee is starting to grow in her powers, but I don’t like how she treated soulmate number three at all.

Harem: Shay, Yuri, and Bo

Sexiness: 3 out 5

Will read next book.

At the passenger gate of the airport, Yuri and Shay are arguing like children about who will get to sit next to Dee Arsenia. “Flight 3376 to Phoenix Sky Harbor is now boarding first class” was announced. Handing her purse to Yuri, Dee decides to do a card draw on the outcome of their trip, to at least calm her nerves a bit. Although she drew the Justice card, it likely didn’t mean what Yuri was hoping it meant, but he thought it sounded positive. As they boarded the plane, Mel called Dee to say her father’s partner Kyle showed up at the door asking for her; her dad had warned her to avoid him. She didn’t tell them Kyle had leaked her identity to the serial killer, figuring that since they were leaving town, she could wait until later to figure out if he did it on purpose or was just inept. Since Mel didn’t know any of this, she told him Dee was in Arizona, but then got a bad vibe about him and told him nothing further.

This trip to Phoenix is to resolve the mystery hanging over Yuri’s head, as well as a chance to look for Dee’s three additional soulmates. They find the third soulmate, but things don’t go spectacularly well. He was very drunk and the bartender identified him as Brock Slaughter, but everyone called him Bo. It didn’t seem he would be a good addition to their group. Yuri and Shay had to rescue him from a bar fight that would have killed him. He wasn’t the man she had expected to find and she was disappointed – yet deep down he had the strong core of loyalty and protectiveness as she remembered, despite the drunkenness that made his aura not accurately readable. Time would tell what kind of relationship they could expect. And the run-in with the despicable Sheriff and a hitman out to kill them will make the rest of the trip more exciting, for sure!

This is the second book in this series and it was a wonderful read! I am grateful to the author once again for taking the time to explain the interpretation of the Tarot cards so I wasn’t as lost as I could have been. The characters are terrific, keeping the story line racing along and giving the reader surprises all the way. Grab your copy and see if they manage to reach any of their goals before the killer gets to them! The excitement just doesn’t stop!

Unexpected Path of Mystery and Love

Definitely an intriguing and mysterious story, Delphine “Dee” a psychic still grasping on her different abilities that she has not yet had to use, found her first two soulmates Shay and Yuri in the first book, in this action filled second installment they set on a path to find out what happened to Yuri’s ex-wife, while looking for her other soulmates. The path proves to be more difficult than expected as she finds Bo her third soulmate and deals with conflicted feelings while being hunted by law enforcement, hit-man and everything in between. Will she resolve her conflicted feeling? Will they find out what really happened to Yuri’s ex-wife?

Justice Found and Lost, is defiantly filled with twists and action and of course a lot of tarot reading, and I found myself not knowing what was going too happen and kept turning the page to find out. I enjoyed the character building for Dee as she faces new obstacles with her abilities and needs them for their survival as well as the “not so love at first sight” with her third soulmate, it gave more depth and relatable feelings towards her character. Overall a great story-line and I defiantly want to see how her other soulmates or found and how their story continues. I do however feel that the sexy scenes are way to short and not descriptive enough although this book is so much deeper than the first, and a lot more happens, you also get to look at more memories of their past lives as they go along.

ONE STUPENDOUS EXPERIENCE!!!
Fantabulous! Mika heaped the jumble of odds, uncertainty, fear and dread tossed it in a huge pot stirred it all together and came out with a work of art that captives from start to finish. All the uncertainty, revelations and speculation along with all that drama and intrigue go hand-in-hand. A legion of surprising circumstances along with a bevy of inadvertent mishaps thrust those blazing emotions forward front and center. One intense storyline and a slew of plot twist casts and snags piece by piece together flawlessly. Action packed, smooth flowing, page flipping wonder captures your full attention and constrains you on a razors edge. One non-stop action packed, page flipping bombshell keeps you riveted on a razors edge. Pushing through all the trials and tribulations with such perilous paths, nerve racking danger and electrifying suspense catapults this unique spin to a whole new level. The characters and their personalities are original, tangible and well developed with just enough flaws to add spice to the mix. The scenes are graphically detailed to give you a full understanding and the realism that play out fluidly from each scenario without a hitch. Remarkable job Mika, thanks for sharing.

I think I enjoyed this second book of this fascinating series more than the first. I absolutely adore the tarot theme, as I have been interested in the tarot for over 30 years. What a delight to see it woven so seamlessly into a book. I like how the author works on building the emotional relationships between Dee and her soulmates. Just because one has a destined love, with a past and future, doesn't necessarily doesn’t mean it’s easy! But all the emotional feels did not detract from the action and suspense of the story. I don't think it is necessarily easy for an author to pull that off, so I love it when it is done well. I particularly enjoyed watching Dee as she continued to evolve in all things magical and mystical. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and I am curious to see where the tarot will take us next. I can recommend this book, but you definitely should read the first book before this one as it is not a standalone.

I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.

Dee, Shay, and Yuri are on their way to Phoenix where Dee has and interview scheduled about her experience with the serial killer Marcus Knight. She has also agreed to try and help Yuri discover the truth about his ex wife's murder. Unfortunately, it doesn't take long to find out that a corrupt sheriff is the least of their worries, and after they uncover evidence about a greedy and corrupt corporation, they will be on the run. With the evidence in hand, they will soon find out that all three have contracts out on them and the hitmen are hot on their trail.

Fascinating, sexy, and well written characters. Dee finds another of her soul mates, but she won't find it easy to accept this new man into her life as easily as she did Yuri and Shay, and struggles with the memory of her first love who passed away while she was in college. Exciting, action packed, and suspenseful read.

Not only does Dee have 2 of her soulmates, but they find a third brother, Bo. He was falling down drunk when they find him, so they weren't excited about it. Once he sobers up, he joins their quest to clear Yuri of murder charges. Yuri and Shay bond with Bo but Dee decides not to. I was really disappointed in her attitude and actions towards Bo. They will be facing a corrupt sheriff, an evil corporation, assassins, some of Bo's colorful cohorts, two ghosts and illegal traffickers. Bo was really a life saver for them during this trek. I can't wait until Dee finally gets back with her Nana to learn more about her gifts. I'm looking forward to the next book, the next brother and where they go from here. I received this as ARC and read it in one night, it is 2nd book in series and I must say it keeps getting better and better with each book. This time a third soul mate is found, and even though it doesn't go as planned, I got all the feels from the love story. I found myself crying at just the right parts and begging for the soul connection to work out. It's true "be careful about what you ask for" some answers are much more complicated than you think. The overall story was amazing, the new challenges were written like I was there with them throughout this book. I find this author fast becoming one of my favorites. Can't wait to read more, If you love a good story, fast action, strong characters that you can relate too then this is the book series for you. Highly recommend

In the second book of the Tarot Arcana Mysteries Dee and two of her husbands from a former life try to clear Yuri's name while being harassed by the local sheriff. Their second goal is to find the third of the five husbands. Finding him is fairly easy, but although he is immediately accepted by Yuri and Shay Dee has a lot of reservations against him, despite his clear link and his love for Dee.
A murder- adventure story mixed in with tarot readings and a dash of difficult to come together romance. Well- written. I had trouble putting the book down, and although this book did not end on a cliff-hanger, I am hoping the next book comes out soon. I want to know how their story continues.

Delphine and two of her mates are looking for the third of her five soul mates. On their way, Del is helping Yuri to find closure and learn the truth about the death of his ex wife - but instead they find themselves in danger, with a corrupt sheriff and a dark corrupt company planning to kill them. When Shay, Yuri and Del find Bo, she learns that nothing is ever as it seems - and that even a psychic like her can make mistakes~ Does Bo really belong with them? Will they find the key to solving Bessie and Angie's murders? Will they survive to being justice to those who deserve it - I loved the first book in this series - this one was even better - I cant wait for the next one!

The second story in the series has a fantastic storyline. Dee kind of upset me in this though. I didn’t like her attitude at times. She was so much more whiny in this one. Towards the end she grows a lot. Of course I still loved Yuri and Shay with their protective and alpha attitudes. Then we have fabulous Bo added to the picture. He has the fantastic qualities as the others. The story is well written and I absolutely adore Nana. She is amazing character that adds so much to the story. This is definitely worth reading.

Overall I liked this one just as much as the first, but there were times that I wanted to strangle Dee, lol. I didn't blame her for being scared when it came to her third mate, but felt that she held it over his head until the last possible second and he forgave her really quickly. I liked the fact that we got closure on one of the mate's background and am hoping for the next book we get closure on the third. Good read overall!

Wow. What an amazing story. Absolutely fantastic. I loved it from start to finish. Dee has found two of her husbands from seven thousand years ago and there are three more to be found. Then they find Bo in a bar - drunk and falling over. Can this drunk truly be another of her soulmates? IIt can't be. The adventure continues with so much danger ahead. Can they all survive and come out of this whole? Or will Dee lose one of her soulmates? Can't wait for the next story in this brilliant series.

Loved this second book. The story takes off right where book one stopped. This one has a lot more danger and there will be death. But can the group survive and figure who and why they are being attacked. Lots of mystery and paranormal with the tarot cards, astroprojection and even ghosts. The relationship will definitely take on a new feel as they also search for another soulmate. Can’t get enough of this one. Just so amazing.
