This is a nice easy romantic read. Or it was for most of it.
It goes as you’d expect apart from a bizarre bit at the end. But I’m getting ahead of myself.

Nyssa needs money quickly. So for one night only she takes her friends place as an escort. Sex is optional and not on the table at all for Nyssa. That is until she realises she’s hit the jackpot with her date. Deacon Smith is every dream she’s ever had.

Six months later Nyssa is back on her feet and working her dream job. When she’s chosen to organise the wedding of billionaire Tyler Bennett. She’s shocked to realise Tyler in Deacon.

Tyler is having to marry. He’s never recovered from the one night he spent with Sherry Rose. He tried desperately to find her. He’s surprised when he discovers she’s his wedding planner.

For the most part I enjoyed this book. Nyssa just can’t help herself where Tyler is concerned. And he doesn’t play fair. She doesn’t know it’s an arranged marriage so that bit was a bit yucky.

It’s all rolling along nicely (well he should have called the wedding off at the beginning but that would have made it a very short book) until the end. Then it all goes a bit weird.

I didn’t want to make this a spoiler review. But I can’t do it any other way.


“You’re marrying Tyler.”
“We’re not going to tell him about the change in the plan though.”
“What?” Nyssa and Shana asked in unison. Their flabbergasted gazes locked on Reena’s face.
“Tyler is very unpredictable at times. All you’ve both seen is his charming side. As his mother, I’ve seen him make people cringe with a look. He’s already hurting, but he’s accepted my decision purely out of respect. Now, if I relent and say it’s okay to marry Nyssa, there’s no telling what his reaction would be. We also have guests to consider. It’s too short notice to contact both families and cancel.”
“What are you proposing?” Shana asked.
“We go ahead with the wedding as planned. Only, Nyssa will be the bride without Tyler knowing.”
Nyssa’s brow furrowed. “How do you plan on achieving that?” She wasn’t keen on deceiving Tyler.
“Fortunately, the Hindu ceremony is first. You’ll be wearing the veil over your face. I know my son’s current state of mind. He wouldn’t bother much with the actual ceremony.”

So Tyler is marrying Shana. But he wants Nyssa his wedding planner. The wedding plans continue while he’s actively chasing and having sex with Nyssa. Three days before the wedding he goes to his mother and tells her he can’t marry Shana. She says it’s too late to back out now. Then his mother has a conversation with Nyssa and Shana. It turns out Shana doesn’t want to marry him anyway she wants his cousin.
So it’s arranged that Nyssa will take Shana’s place as bride. But.....Tyler won’t know. He’ll believe he’s marrying Shana. And all Shana’s family will be there.
Now Tyler is part Indian royalty so they’re having two ceremonies. The first is a traditional Indian one.
They assumed (correctly as it appears) that he wouldn’t think anything of Nyssa’s mother being at the wedding. Helping the bride at the alter.

There were times she expected Tyler to question the priest when he mentioned her name. She finally realized that not only was Tyler distracted, he also didn’t understand a word of Hindi, the language used by the priest to officiate the ceremony.

Now I’m not a language expert by any means but I always thought names remained the same. Even distracted you’d think he’d notice if the priest used the wedding planners name in the actual ceremony. And since he’s in love with Nyssa even distracted her name would pull him out.

I’m so disappointed because I was quite enjoying this until it hit crazy.

A great second chance romance...

This is the first book I have read from this author and I loved it. The characters are well developed, likable, and realistically flawed. The story is very well written, with an arranged marriage, drama, misunderstandings, and steamy passion.
I am looking forward to reading more from this author.

Love Nyssa and Tyler!

Nyssa reconnects with Tyler 6 months after their first meeting. Sparks fly between them, even though Tyler is marrying another woman.

I loved this book, the 2 main characters are of Asian Indian descent. This book makes me happy!

I loved this story and i has hooked from the beginning.
Nyssa needs money for herself and her mother and accepts a one of job as an escort, but things dont go to plan. She meets Deacon and the attraction is instant and what follows is a steamy night together. Six months later Nyssa is an events coordinator and is planning a millionaires wedding but meeting the groom she discovers it is Deacon/Tyler which is his real name. She knows that now she is planning his wedding she must stay away from him but Tyler has other plans and he wont take no for an answer.
Nyssa and Tylers story was intense from the very being and it just pulled you in, despite everything they were against with the wedding you find yourself really rooting for them to work out and be together. The intense/hot scenes does not distract you from their story and how their relationship and feelings grow and develop. I definitely recommend this story and i will be reading more by this author.

This is the first book that I have read from this writer. Charlene is quite the writer. Nyssa Das needs money to help her mother. Her friend Serena talks her into being an escort for one night. She goes to meet this guy and it is instant chemistry between these two. But she leaves before she tells him who she really is and doesn't say goodbye. He cant get her out of his head. He attempts everything to find out who she is but cannot get the information. Until months later when she shows up at his door as his wedding planner. But the feelings are still there for them both. Will these two get together or will Nyssa walk away from Tyler. What exactly will happen between these two? Off the charts hot chemistry between these two. I absolutely love these two together. Just something about them. It was a well written enjoyable book from beginning to end. I have to say I was hooked and Charlene now has a fan of her writing.

A steamy modern day romance with a handsome billionaire playboy and the sweet and sexy escort for hire he falls for...and vice versa. This is such a beautiful love story, angsty, passionate and filled with so many misunderstandings. I am just so happy that Nyssa and Tyler found their way back to each other. Lots of steamy sex in this dramatic adult oriented romance, and well worth the indulgence. Very nicely done!

I enjoyed this book very much. The chemistry between Tyler and Nyssa was red hot and the plot (though it took a bit for me to get moving) was interesting and moved along quite well overall. It was in a way an arranged marriage story but with a twist. Thankfully a HEA although there was certainly some angst and heartache along the way!

I Belong to You has an off the charts, red hot chemistry between the main characters. I thought the actual story took a bit to come about. The first half I felt was pretty much sexiness moments. The second half, I felt the plot really moved along. A bit of a love triangle with a twist at the end. Those that love the steamy sexy reads, especially billionaire romances, will enjoy this.

An enjoyable read, but sometimes I despaired of Tyler he wants Nyssa but seems to dance around a lot, and by skirting issues he make Nyssa feel like a fling which is the furthest thing in his mind so yes I wanted to shake him, a good read for me.

An intriguing plot

I loved this story the two main characters were great as well as the the other characters in the story. It was nice to have no villain for once something softer and sweeter. The twist of the story being she meets him again as his wedding planner was interesting and all seemed to me to be believable Fate may have played a part but they were perfect for one another. The ending was superb, This is a tame easy flow by this author when compared to other that I have read. It was just what I wanted and needed today.

Charlene is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. Her steamy love stories are perfection to my heart. I Belong to You grabs your heart from the very beginning and takes you on a sweet and sexy journey. I stayed up late last night to finish it. And I loved it! This was my fourth book by this author and again she managed to surprise me.
