Exciting with suspense that makes the whole story wild ride. Conrad is on the verge of losing control of his dragon and going insane. He has been searching for his mate all over and is heading home, without a mate. Everyone from the clan is there to greet him except a fairly new female dragon, Alisha. Conrad scented the area and found nothing interesting right then. Alisha was human and her mother mated with two alpha wolves, so she was raised by shifters. When Conrad and Alisha meet, the pull is extremely strong in both of them, but she still has that human idea that with true mates cheating is still possible. Especially after she overhears the girls vying for his attention and his bed. But that's not the only problem, hunters are becoming a serious threat for shifters again and they are close. Add in family drama from Conrad's side and things just keep snowballing. My very favorite part was her discussion with her stepdad about a shifter's fidelity when he finds his mate. I loved how explained using his and her mom's meeting as an example. I thought this was wonderful. I requested an advanced reader copy from Booksprout and am under no obligation to leave this review.
Conrad has been searching for his one true mate for years. Finally he decides to come home and bam he senses his mate. If only he had come back sooner his Dragon would feel settled. Now if he can just convince his mate he isn't the same person the clan thinks he is. Alisha justs wants to go home to her family but she is a Dragon shifter in a world that only believes in wolf shifters. When Conrad comes home her Dragon stirs for him but doubt is a cruel word.
I didn't read the first ones in this series until after this one so if you feel like you will miss something you won't. This book had me laughing and cringing sometime. And when I say cringing it's because poor Conrad's past caught up to the guy quick when he got home. All he wanted to do is see his mate but no fate was like come face your past first. I laughed. I could understand Alisha's resistance because she had seen what true love looks like and she wants that. But being away from her family is killing her. I loved how strong she was though. It was an all around good read.

Conrad has been out searching everywhere for his mate as he would be losing to his dragon if he didn’t find her. He finally went home and slept from his journey but when he woke up he saw her, but other girls were wanting him in their beds. Alisha left him standing with them and went to see the alpha’s mate to check on the baby because she was due, she was a nurse. Before that she had almost died and Amanda bit her to save her life so she became a dragon. Her family was wolves and she wasn’t allowed to visit them. Conrad took her to a cave where he had wrote something for his mate to see, Conrad had claimed Alisha but she hadn’t claimed him. Then the hunters kidnapped her, she tried to get away but her dragon wasn’t there to help her. The hunter doctor took a lot of blood for testing. Then Conrad and the rest of the dragons came and rescued her and burned everything. Then Alisha completed the claiming.
Conrad needs to find his mate or lose control of his dragon. So he has been out searching everywhere he can think of to find her. Disappointed, he went home and found that she had been right there for the past two years while he wasted his time searching elsewhere else!
Alisha felt a draw to Conrad as soon as she saw him, but the females who surrounded him for his attention gave her the feeling he was a player and not to be trusted with her heart. She walked away, leaving him with his admirers, while she went to check on the alpha’s mate who was expecting her baby soon. What would it take for Alisha to trust Conrad? Would she ever claim him as her mate?
There was so much more going on in this story, so be sure to grab your copy and see what other exciting events were occurring! The characters were well-portrayed, and the author is very good at letting the reader feel the characters’ emotions. Learning a different origin story on dragons was a perfect touch!

After a very long vacation traveling in an attempt to find his mate Dragon shifter Conrad returns home and all he wants is to sleep but on the way to his house he picks up a scent that perks his Dragon up. This is another well written fun read in The Dragons of Nevada series and in it we meet Conrad
He is fighting his dragon getting close to the point where he will have to be put down if he doesn't find his mate he has been travelling all over the country searching for her but has had no success tired he returns home for a break before commencing the search again and there he finds her. Alisha was a wolf shifter who was turned into a dragon shifter to save her and she is working as the midwife for the Nevada clan. Conrad knows immediately she is his mate but she doesn't want to tie her self to a player Can he convince her that now that he has found her he will never stray. Will they get their HEA you will have to read to see
Nice Story! Conrad, returning from his 2 year search for a mate, was greated by hopeful female fans. Tajon/Petra and Magnis greeted him also. Alisha was standing by and disgusted by the display. Conrad scented, Alish and she felt a draw to him. She missed her brothers Keanu and Octane, her sisters Resili and Elli and her mom, Ebony and her step dads, Dante and Luca. But she needed to stay. She didn't like Conrad's reputation. She was so new to dragonhood, that she didn't know all the traditions and rules. Will she open up to/for Conrad? Can Conrad convince her he has changed his ways? Fun story. A few tense surprising crisis, but nicely told. Absolutely enjoyable. I received an ARC from Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I love this series and this book Conrad is no exception. Conrad will lose control of his dragon if he doesn’t find his mate so he goes out searching for 2 long years to no avail so he goes back home and there she is Alisha whose been there all this time. Alisha is a nurse she feels drawn to Conrad now that she’s been turned into a dragon but all of the other girls want his attention so she walks away. Alisha doesn’t want anything to do with a playboy but how can Conrad convince Alisha that he has changed?. Loved this story it’s a fantastic read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
It's 2 damn short again 4 that high a price!! It was awesome as usual!! Those fuckers (hunters) caused enough trouble and they got what the deserved!! I'm surprised that there's not a dragon in the clan that does like chemistry and would b able 2 beat those fuckers at their own game. Who knows, hopefully in the future... Conrad has a asshole dad but it's x that he tries and 4gives his parents 4 the past 2 have a better future. His dad did was full of surprises lately it seems. I hope that Lucas is next and finds his mate asap!!
This was a great story! I always love reading stories by McKayla Schutt. I love this dragon series.
Conrad is finally home. He is tired from searching for his mate. He doesn't realize that his mate is already in his town. Alisha was turned into a dragon shifter and has been learning things. She is not sure about Conrad but is willing to give him a try. When they are in danger, will they be able to get out of it?

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Conrad by McKayla Schutt and Victoria Miller is the third book in the Dragons of Nevada series. This is a really sweet and spicy quick read. (Mature Readers Only Please) Conrad and Alisha's romance burn hot and fast in this fast paced, action packed story. While reading the series in order gives more depth to the story, this book does read well as stand alone. A great anytime read.

After reading this book I had to take a little time to compose myself and get my thoughts clear in my head before I put them in a review. Wow this book was amazingly written. Once I started I couldn’t put it down till I was finished. This book has twists and turns you don’t know what’s happening. will they all get there happily ever after or will it all go wrong. To find out what happens go buy the book. You won’t be disappointed I wasn’t.

Alisha is a made dragon shifter. She was near death, when she was turned, as it had been her only option. Trusting her dragon is not always easy for her, and when Conrad, a gorgeous dragon, tells her he is hers she cannot trust him - especially as others around her confirm that he is a player. Her insecurities and not understanding the power of the mate bond lead both of them into a difficult time. The story itself is nothing special, but it is told in an entertaining way and well-written I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Loved the book, the story was well written and the characters are unique. Once I started I could not put the book down from start to finish you just could not get enough with twists and turns hot and steamy like a rollercoaster ride of emotions that makes you want more with feelings, desires, passion and lust, erotic sweetness, sensational pleasures and heat from arousal. Thank you for allowing me to review your book.

Enjoyable fast paced read. I will say that I had a loved hate relationship with Alisha I understood her reluctant towards Conrad but we all carry a past. I'm just glad she got it together at the end. Overall a enjoyable and entertaining read. This is a short story. Conrad is a dragon who needs a mate. Conrad finds his mate who has been hurt before and she doesn't know if she can trust him because he is a player. There are bad guys too. I think the characters were well thought out and relatable. It is a good feel good story. I would recommend it.

This is a very enjoyable shifter romance. This has a followable fast pace that make this an easy and quick read. This is interesting in Alisha's reaction to Conrad. While understandable it does to be a bit tedious after a while. Thsi does have an HEA that Alisha is overcome her differences.

He’s searched all over the world for his mate. If he doesn’t find her in the next few years he will become insane and dangerous. His own family and clan would have to put him down. Who knew that coming home would change everything? One stubborn woman won’t let a player hurt her like others have in the past. But can Conrad show her what a mate truly is?
This is the story of Alisha and Conrad. He knows she is his mate but while she feels drawn to him, Alisha doesn’t trust him and his playboy reputation. I enjoyed their journey to finding their HEA. I received an arc of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
