Within this Book lies everything an aspiring acolyte needs to become a practicing Cultist in The Cult of Cthulhu. From poetic metaphor and essays on the nature of reality, to instructions on attending a Gathering and practicing Cthulhic Rituals - The Bible of Cthulhu covers every aspect of joining The Cult of Cthulhu.
Wyntre of Bow Down states in the Bible of Cthulhu "There exist no organized religions that use the Lovecraftian archetypes and ideals to celebrate life over divinity and death other than this Cult." This is untrue. The ideals between Bow Down's music and Wyntre's Cult were stolen from Venger Satanis. Wyntre was a member of the Cthulhu Cult and founded the Cult of Cthulhu in 2016 after a schism. Venger Satanis wrote Cthulhu Cult in 2007 and Liber AO in 2009. Wyntre stole the following concepts from Venger Satanis without crediting Venger, and claiming the ideas as his own.
- The Great Work - Unification - Higher Laws (8 Tennants) - Veridian Prophecies (Veridian Versus) - Conquering Death (on death) - Self empowerment and Awakening (ascension) - Left hand vs Right hand religion - Humanity is Asleep, the Anti Productive, and Governing the Sane (madness and sanity) - Ritual of Becoming (self baptism and contract to old ones) - Old One Hymns - Old One Sigils - Application for Membership Test (miskatonic university) - Gatherings and Grottos - Demonic alphabet and Cult of Cthulhu Glossary(r'lyehian) - Old One Rituals - System of Dark Occult Science (Order of Dagon) - Mankind is Worthless (cosmic indifference) - Cult of Cthulhu degrees (the inner and outter circle)
While Wyntre stole the work of Venger, he also neglected to mention there have been other Lovecraft based Religions. The following are examples. . .
- The Stars are Right by Scott R Jones 2007 - Pseudonomicon By Phil Hine 1994 - Grimoire of the Necronomicon by Donald Tyson 2008 - Esoteric Order of Dagon founded in 1981
