4 I want you Stars

This is my first Clarissa Wild book. I’m a sucker for dark reads and kidnaping books. I’m also a sucker for redemption stories and MMF scenes. Yes, you heard that right, there is MMF in there. So this is a purely erotica dark-ish kidnapping book. You take it for what it’s worth.

Slave 5947 is purchased by Master Marcus. She now named Ava and she doesn’t understand Marcus’ “kindness”. She’s use to being treated poorly with regular beatings, but when Marcus tells her to stop apologizing for every little thing, this confuses her.

I really like the premise of this. You know I love my damsel in distress, so when a tortured battered girl is “saved” by the hero; I’m gobbling up the pages. The beginning is fast and we get to the steam real quick as well. Marcus doesn’t want to give into Ava. He believes he is a bad man and she deserves so much better, so he shows her. He shows her a world where she is his equal.

I liked Ava, I liked that she was brained washed by her previous master and she didn’t understand that her new Master, Marcus gave her choices. I found this act to be really kind and sweet. But Marcus is not a kind and sweet man. He’s a killer.

So the first half is pretty typical for these romance kidnapping, books, but the story turns in the second half. This is where the kink fest is up a notch too. I wasn’t sure on the direction the author was going, but it wasn’t typical and it got me interested.

Marcus has secrets and as we read throughout the book we soon learn who he really is and why he does what he does.

Overall, it was a pleasant read that hit the right spots. It had my damsel, kinky steamy scenes and a broody tortured man. This will not be my last Clarissa Wild book.

I am not even sure what exactly to rate this one as I'm a little bit on the shelf with it. I am not totally sure what to think if I am being honest! It wasn't bad; but it didn't totally wow me either. It is a dark book and there were directions in which this story went where I was surprised, and then there were other things that happened that turned out to be way too predictable. I am being cryptic; but this is a story in which I wouldn't want to give anything away.

The basic part that I can say is that the heroine has been a slave since she was just a young child. Her master has been brutal to her in so many different ways; but this is all she has known. Then one day her world is turned upside down when she is sold to a new master. Is her new master good or evil? What are his motives? There are so many questions, and all will come to light in this stand alone book. This is not for the faint of heart; and one must be open to a wide variety of sexual situations. There is also a threesome in this story, and I will say that there are some pretty hot scenes that do not disappoint. All in all, it was just an ok read for me. I found that I had a very hard time connecting fully with all of the characters involved; which did play a big part in my rating as well.

ARC kindly provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.

Having a hard time rating this...First of all, I have to say that I am a huge Clarissa Wild fan. I've read most of her books and I love her dark writing.
I am also a lover of the dark side, so these thoughts have nothing to do with how dark the book was.
The book is really dark. Our heroine was captured as a child and sold into slavery. She has been brainwashed, she has been conditioned to actually want her life as a slave. Her master is cruel and all she knows is the ugly side of our world.
When she is sold to another master, her world is turned upside down. Master Marcus is not your usual master. He is fair and he treats Ava kindly; something that shocks her. It will take her a while to become comfortable in his presence.
The books examines in detail the aftermath of human trafficking and slavery. But in this case, we get to see a kind master who actually wants to atone for his past mistakes. He wishes to help people like Ava...but he is hiding a big secret from her; something that can devastate her.
Ava cannot help but slowly fall for her new master and when he buys another male slave, that's when things get complicated.
The book also has M/F/M themes. That was one of the things that didn't work for me, not because I do not like the added spice, but because I think the story didn't need it.
Also, dark reads draw readers in because of the emotional impact these people's stories can have on them, but in this case-for me at least-, I did not feel a great connection to the characters. My fave character has to be Daniel.
I found some of Ava's behavior repetitive and even though I knew she was brainwashed and conditioned, I wanted so see some change in her. I found her reaction to Marcus a bit too sugar-y and their romance fell a bit flat for me. Also, Marcus didn't want her as a slave, but he did not stop her from calling him 'Master' all the time.
On the other hand, I loved that Daniel was suspicious of their new master and that he fought to discover the truth. He added the element of realism into the story.
That being said, this book is certainly not for the faint hearted. Even though I didn't love it, I liked it. If you love dark reads, try this one.

****3.75 Stars****

Because to me, you are the golden girl. A girl worth fighting for with every last ounce of my blood.

This book is about a man trying to make up for some of the mistakes he has made in the past. Marcus is the leader of a dark, vicious underground empire but is very fed-up for being part of it. He has done a lot of evil things and now seeks to atone for these crimes. He buys Ava from one or his very abusive crime-partners and is determined to show her that she is as much human as him and that she is his equal. He was not an abusive master what made him a really like-able person. While teaching Ava that she is more than just a slave and seeing her become a person that matters, Marcus falls hard for her even though he does his best not to. Trying to make-up for another sin, Marcus also buys Daniël from yet another abusive crime-partner and watches as Ava and Daniël connect and gradually fall for each other, although Ava confesses that she loves them both.
The book takes a turn of events in a unexpected way, but the end leaves you to guess (what is absolutely not difficult to do) what Ava next actions will be.

Ultimate Sin - where 2 Stars can be a thing of beauty.

As always with Clarissa Wild, this was a story with lots of unexpected outcomes. Right from the start it was apparent that this was going to be a harrowing story as we get to meet the key players. From abuse to protection, readers are taken on a journey of hope in the face of trepidation.

I must admit that I'm not a great lover of Master/Slave stories as I find them too uncomfortable to fully enjoy the reading experience but that said, this story clung on to a hope of a future without pain for two children who were taken from their families and forced into a life of slavery. However, after years of abuse at the hands of their respective Masters, they find themselves facing a different future and it's one without a fear of further torture or even the risk of death.

The sexual chemistry between the characters was explosive despite their connections. Salvation didn't come at a price but despite this a love was formed as they explored each other's emotions, fears and bodies. Yes, the scenes were steamy and almost unexpected but the bond shared was born from something none of us could ever understand. For lovers of M/F/M stories this will be a treat for you, especially if you also have a penchant for darkness in your library.

Clarissa Wild's writing style continues to draw me in despite her stepping further and further into a world unlike no other. Her mind captures stories and gives them life in a way that mesmerises readers and will continue to call to me.

Despite not being able to give this my usual 5 Star review for a Clarissa Wild book, I can honestly say that this is a brilliant story. As outlined above, I didn't fully enjoy the reading experience because of my inability to connect with the theme of the story but despite this it is a book that I would highly recommend to lovers of that genre.

This started out great I loved the way it started. I Love the premise of this story! The characters were interesting & loveable, Well, almost all of them. The writing had me really invested early on...

If you can make it through the 1st couple of chapters that's as dark as it gets. There are other dark elements, but they are told as flashbacks. I did feel disappointed in the way the story turned around the 80% mark. I thought the story was going one way & I kept waiting for a shoe to drop that didn't happen.

I felt cheated. There was so much potential with Mistress that just didn't flesh out or transpire. It was a whole underdeveloped possibility of a plot twist that I was expecting. The fact that it didn't go the the way I thought, fine give me something better. Don't just string me along for a damn 15% HEA. I get worrying about a rushed ending, but a dragged out ending is even worse. Still a good read, however it had Great Potential but was a Wasted opportunity!

* BETA READ*

Holy Smokes! This book is insane, wrong, dark yet absolutely amazing!

As a lot of people know l hate love triangles they infuriate me, but in Ultimate sin Clarissa Wild made it work and I enjoyed reading it without getting irritated or annoyed.

l love the inner strength of each Character, even though on the surface they're a vulnerable as you can get.

l absolutely loved the twists and turns, and ever though a few chapters from the end was virtually impossible, the author made it won.

The ending was spot on and 1 was choked up at how it eded for Ava & Daniel.

One word that sums up this book? AMAZING.

This book was a mindfuck. I'm still trying to get my head wrapped around it. I really liked it and totally recommend it. It held me from the beginning.

It's the story of undoing forced submission. This isn't really BDSM. This is a whole different 50 shades of fucked up.

While this is a story about the modern industry of servants and sex-slaves, it's really more about a man trying to bring it down...from the inside while he tries to heal the h and help her find happiness. And it will all go down like a force of fucking nature.

This briefly turns into M/F/M...the kink was for the reader, but it truly showed the h's inherent need to submit and how she breaks from it. And, more importantly, how she loves.

The cliffy has nothing to do with the h finding her HEA...it only has to do with the overarching plot. I wondered how it would wrap up in one book and I can see why it couldn't. I generally hate series because they could easily be made into one or two volumes. But this one I can understand and with the big-ass mind-fuck at 80% I'm just trying to figure out how this will go forward.

And that's about all the spoilers I'm giving away.

Safety gang...so no cheating, no OW/OM. There are 2 m/f/m scenes. But I can't explain without giving away something you should discover on your own.

Ratings.....
Yeah, this is hard.

I want to give it 5 stars for "what the fuck did I just read" that happens so rarely anymore...at least not in a good way. But until I know if some of the loose threads are going to be picked up in the next book...I can't. Because a portion of the plot is just left unanswered and many a WTFs are left in that path.

But a 3 doesn't feel fair because the HEA was a total WTF that was stellar and unexpected until after 75%...so, again, even with the clues leading up, that scores it a 5.

So I'll settle with 4 stars for now and hope you find it as enjoyable as I did.

I'm on the fence about this book. It was good, but it didn't *grab* me..

Marcus is trying to correct the mistakes he's made in the past. In doing so he "rescues" Ava and Daniel.

Ava is broken, almost beyond repair. Marcus has resuced her from a horrible Master, one that beat and abused her on a daily basis. All she knows how to feel is pain. All she knows how to be is a slave.

When Marcus buys her, she is shocked and shaken that her "original" Master didn't want her anymore. But she slowly but surely comes around and warms up to Marcus. Marcus wants her to learn what life is all about. Teach her to make her own decisions. To live.

Then at a party, Marcus buys Daniel. Ava is shocked, but Daniel is beyond pissed. He doesn't want to be Marcus' "slave", and vows to do anything in his power to break free.

Problem is, Daniel doesn't know that he and Ava *are* free.

The story moves along, a bit slowly for a bit. But the ending really caused my heart to hurt. The ending was really good.

This was another winner for me. I was in the mood for a TPE book with a kind rather than cruel master and I came across this one. I'm so glad I did, it was exactly what I was in the mood for. This book was a little dark and twisty with a healthy dose of kink on the side.

Marcus was just yummy, I was seriously rooting for him and Ava, the ending just freaking killed me. I saw it coming a mile off and I really wish I hadn't. I wish I could change things. This did have a HEA not just the one I wanted! Still, it was a super enjoyable read.

I can take her anger, her fear, her sadness. I can take it all because that’s what people do when they love each other.

It’s not a bad book. But it seemed so unbelievable to me that I couldn’t understand the point.

I love Clarissa Wild! I love her writing! But here I just missed something, even though the plot was very tangled.

So ... three stars, it is!

WOW...Just, WOW!! This was such an original story, I can't even put into words how moved I was. I needed to gather my thoughts for a few days after reading this so I could, hopefully, articulate what I loved about this book...it was worth more than 5 stars!!

I've read many Master/slave dark romance stories and had my expectations of what this story was going to be, but I was completely thrown for a loop and surprised with the direction this story went.
I. LOVED. IT!

Ultimate Sin is Ava's tale. Raised into slavery, she has grown to be a dutiful slave. Her training is so ingrained in her, that she truly, and unequivocably believes her purpose it to please her Master. There is not fight to resist that fact. That is where this story differs from the others. She lives to serve and is happy if her Master is happy. It's a life she accepted long ago and strives to always do her best. She was soooo sweet, and gentle and loving. In some moments, it broke my heart to see her so broken, but then there would be so many more moments where I could see that her strength lies within those broken parts and would shine through. In accepting her fate/life of slavery, she found strength in it. In not fighting it, she wasn't disappointed with the life she was given. In a way, her attitude was quite Zen. She endured punishments through training and from ownership, but she saw them as just that...punishment because she hadn't made her Master happy. It was his place to dole it out. I didn't know if I wanted to shake some sense into her or shake her hand for her strength and bravery. It was just such an uplifting character trait that kept the story from being so dark. I absolutely LOVED her for it.

Master Marcus was a conundrum. His acquisition of Ava was swift and his treatment of her was foreign, not only to me but to Ava. I was quite puzzled with it and tried hard to figure out what his agenda was. I can say, that It wasn't until the near end that I started to put all the puzzle pieces together. He was a good Master. His actions showed he had a good heart, but he did occasionally allow himself to indulge in the pleasures of his power over Ava as any Master would.

Ava was so eager to be loved by anyone she hoped that she'd get it from her Master, but Master Marcus did everything possible to squash that.

Gah! There is so much in this story that I can't divulge or you'll miss out on the experience I had. I really, really, REALLY enjoyed this book! I've read a Clarissa Wild book or two and have to say that this one is my favorite from her. I adored the characters, the plot, even the sneaky surprising plot twists. It was such an entertaining read, that I couldn't put it down once I started. There was no way I could quit on the story while it was that good.

This is such a story that will have you held in suspense, in disbelief and will also be rooting for the antihero to find love even though all the bad he has done. There is so many levels of sin to wade thru, its as though you think you will never come out and know up from down and that is ok, I liked it.
This was such a dark and compelling read. I literally had tears pouring down my face as I read Marcus and Ava ‘s story. Marcus has this dark vibe and he gets his point across that he will get broken and sweet slave Ava. Ava , who knowns no other life as but a slave, is taken to Marcus and there she is left. Poor thing about had a mental breakdown because she didn’t know why she was left with Marcus after her last master about beat her to death yet she was willing to stay with him because she knew him and didn’t know Marcus. Ava was kidnapped as a little girl and trained to be a slave and sexual puppet so that’s all she knows. She is recused by Marcus and here is Marcus, and what do we have here…
Marcus is an enigma, one which we see bits and pieces of during this book that the layers keep getting pulled back but not all the way. Which, that is ok, for I think if we had, it would have ruined the book experience for me. What I got to experience of him, I do come to enjoy. He tries hard to not fall in love with Ava but that soo did not work. Then he starts by helping her overcome her phobias and to find some link to the past. Along the way, he finds another person, a man, who is like her, who was kidnapped as a young child from their home. He takes him in and we watch as Ava start getting feelings for this male too. Note now, there is M/F/M action in this story. It isn’t horrible but beautiful and so suited for this story.
Now after they are together as a band of misfits in a way, Marcus is withholding something very terrible that will change the course of how things will go forever. I cannot go into details but all I can say…I loved how he , Marcus, knew the outcome ahead of time and forgave her, always and completely forgave. The twists and turns that came out were something that I didn’t see coming .Ava was completely blindedsided, as was I. Poor Ava, just when she thought she had something good. What I can say is this is a complete mind game of a story that will leave you wondering a few questions but overall, applauding such a fantastic story. I loved it and the dark dark tones of the story. Ava and Marcus did have sometime real and even with him knowing he wasn’t going to be around, he knew Daniel would be there for her and could take care of Ava. I loved every word for the story and cant wait for the next by this author.

3 Captured-&-Enslaved-Stars! ☆☆☆
I was about to give this book 4-5 stars until i reached the middle. It started off slow but with tons of feeling. I quickly started feeling remorse for the main character, Ava. But the more characters got involved, the more stretched the story got and it just started to drag on.

Just when i started reading, I was met with 2 short passages that made me want to sink my teeth into this book, lol:

“Rule #1: Never disobey your Master’s commands.
Rule #2: Always strive to please your Master.
Rule #3: Don’t ever kill your Master.
Breaking the rules is the ultimate sin.”

“WARNING: this book contains very disturbing situations, strong language, and graphic violence.”

-How can i not want more?! ;)

From the very beginning i understand what it must feel like to be a slave in the DeLuca household. Its freakin scary as hell! I also quickly learned that 5947's character had been brainwashed into accepting her role as servant, whore, cleaning lady and toy to be played with for the master's amusement. Its sick and disturbing how the masters punished their slaves. (Cutting off tongues so they cant speak or branding them with irons over their bodies)

They are brainwashed into complete submission to the point of not caring about their own well-being.

I immediately felt crushed and saddened by the girl's life as well as the lives of the other girls. It really made me appreciate my own life. I've read book based on slavery but nothing like this.

Master Marcus plays some serious mind-fuckery games with Ava's head. Having her kiss and f#%k other men in front of him while shes having panic attacks.

The story went south when Daniel, another slave was introduced. Suddenly Marcus is sick and Daniel became annoying always bad-mouthing him. And the ending just dragged until it came to an abrupt stop. But, then the story kept going on and on... Chapter after chapter of pointless epilogue that in my opinion was a waste and tarnished the good parts of the story.

And i hated how quickly the ending of he story came and left. In 2 or 3 paragraphs everything changed. (Boom! A person dies. Slaves escape. Slaves get a new life)
But after a climax ending like this one, the story kept going and it cheapened it. The second half of the story is the main reason for the drop in my star ratings.

PS: Despite my gripe with the plot, the sex scenes were hot! Tons of MFM scenes! :)

"It's okay. I already knew this is how it was meant to go. This is my fate. My final atonement for my ultimate sin."

This is the second book I read by Clarissa Wild and I really enjoyed it. I loved that it was different. I have read many dark romance books but this one was a bit different though. There were a couple of plot twists which I didn't see coming. I am happy that some things weren't predictable.

Marcus is part of an evil underground empire but is sick and tired of being part of it. He has done so many evil things that he now seeks to atone for his crimes. I really liked him. I was happy he wasn't this asshole abusive master. Because there are so many books out there that have those. So it was refreshing to read about one who was different.

Ava has been a slave/servant from a very young age and doesnt even remember anything from her past life. The moment Ava comes under control of Marcus her life changes. It was heartbreaking and beautiful at the same time to see how Ava became more than just a slave. That she became a person that matters. I loved the attraction between the two but is it her nature to please the reason for that or does she really feel something for him??

Half way through the book a third character is added: Daniel, who is a servant like Ava. It was amazing seeing them interact and being free with each other. Marcus is the master so Ava was never really comfortable with him. Both Daniel and Ava grew so much, I really loved seeing those moments!

There is so many things that happen in this book but I don't want to spoil anything. I definitely recommend this book! Before I forget: THERE ARE SO MANY HOT AND SEXY SCENES IN THIS BOOK!!! I bookmarked them all to reread later on ;)

I received an ARC of this book from Give Me Books in exchange for an honest review and as part of the book's release day promotions.

I think I've already said this numerous times that every now and then, I get this craving to read dark romance. And there's only very few authors who excel in this genre. Clarissa Wild happens to be one of them. I loved Stalker and Twenty-One. I was excited for this book because the blurb was very intriguing. There's a lot of master/slave romance going on these days that it's hard to find a story that unique and memorable.

Ultimate Sin is a touching and sad love story deep within a dark romance package. Ava, Marcus and Daniel are all people who find love in the midst of a dark world they lived in. I don't know how the ending made me feel. And the story had a generally heartbreaking vibe all throughout. I could say it was more sad than dark. The sex scenes were super hot. The menage could carry you away at some point. All in all, this book had the perfect balance of dark, sweet, and hot. I may feel like it had a sad ending, but I think it was just the right way to end the story. If you love dark romance, you should check this out. You won't be sorry.

I have read so many of these dark slave/Master books and for a while I was getting burned out...but then along comes Clarissa Wild's advance reader's copy in my kindle and I was once again sucked into this depraved and utterly sinful world that captured my attention while making me agitated.
A slave girl, a cruel Master, a game of power and another Master who wants redemption...this one was very engrossing and even as I was reading, hoping things would get better, it kept me on edge until the very last chapter.
The sex was mega-watt-burning-hot...the "training" was cruel but the story itself was slightly different from most of the other kidnap-for-sale books I have read previously and all in all, Clarissa Wild did a good job at writing this sad, but in the end, hopeful tale.
Read with an open mind and be aware it does contain graphic violence and physical abuse along with a poignant love story.

Man, what to say? Clarissa Wild fuck you head.
I started the book thinking it a bit boring, I imagined it would be like the other books, like a Delirious: The Master, The Victim and a makeup rape. Buuuuut, is not at all.
It's about a forgiveness, love and restart.

I will obey his commmands. But I will never look at him the way she does.
Because I know that deep down, there is still something worth fighting for. Something I will never give up. Freedom.

DELICIOUSLY DARK, COMPLETELY COMPELLING AND DIVINELY ENTERTAINING !!!
Title: Ultimate Sin
Author: Clarissa Wild
Designation: Standalone Novel, NO Cliffhanger
Platform: Kindle Unlimited
My Rating: FIVE SINFULLY WICKED STARS*****
I'm just beyond stunned. I need to take a moment and attempt to organize my thoughts, and yes, this book has affected me that profoundly. There have been very few times in my life that I've been rendered completely speechless but this is one of those times. I'm seldom at a loss for words after reading a book, be it good, bad or great but I suddenly find myself incapable of communicating my thoughts about this story. This is definitely NOT your typical love story. It's so much more so maybe I should just start with a few comments about the craftsmanship of the book. Ultimate Sin is the first book I've read by Clarissa Wild and had no idea what to expect but even after reading the blurb and several of the reviews, I was still completely blindsided by the actual content of this story. Ultimate Sin is dark, powerful, intense, emotional, gripping and well crafted. I was immediately drawn into the story. The dialogue is gritty, engaging, well edited and flows beautifully. The narrative is exceptionally well written in the first person with multiple points of view from our three protagonists. And yes, I said three. Wild has given us a surprising but courageous young hero who doesn't appear until the final third of the book, a fascinating, often naive and sometimes pragmatic heroine and finally, a ruthless, damaged yet magnificent antihero. Of all the elements of this story, it's most assuredly the intriguing cast of complex, well developed characters that totally captured my heart. Even the villains were realistic and noteworthy - the kind you love to hate. But please be forewarned, this is not a book for the faint of heart. It contains explicit sex, graphic violence and horrific abuse. This accounting may be fictional but sadly, the story is realistic. Clarissa Wild has given us a very real look into the dark bowels of our society and a panoramic view into the criminal world of sex trafficking and the slave trade. At times, this book was extremely difficult for me to read but it was worth every single gasp, every single tear and every single sob because it's also a story of hope, redemption and happiness. Yes, it does really happen everyday. I should know because it happened to me. So, if what I say is true, then how could I stand to read this, you ask? I made myself read it, remember it and face it so I'll never forget what happened to me and what continues to happen every single day to countless other victims. It would be difficult to give any more details of this story without giving spoilers but I will say this.....Courageous young woman with an indomitable spirit who must overcome brainwashing, violence and abuse in order to find happiness-check! A ruthless, unlikely hero struggling to seek redemption-check! An abused, kindhearted and brave young man who dares to becomes a hero despite his circumstances-check! Danger, drama, heartbreak, angst, murder, violence, abuse and heinous villains-check! Heated attraction, fiery passion, steamy sex and heartwarming love-you bet! That and a whole lot more! Oh, and did I mention a ménage à trois? Oh yes! What did I like about this story? Everything but especially this author's explicit and realistic approach to a very taboo subject! What didn't I like? Not a darn thing! Would I recommend it? You bet and I am but again, only for adult readers. Once you start reading, you won't be able to stop. I'm not a professional reviewer but I know what I like, what I love and what I don't and I loved this book. I admit, after reading the first first few chapters, I had no idea where the author was headed with this story but once I passed the one quarter mark, I was completely hooked and knew beyond a shadow of a doubt, this would be a book I would remember for a very long time. Deliciously dark, sinfully wicked and divinely entertaining!
*****Spoiler Alert*****
I confess, after reading some of the reviews for this book, I was somewhat hesitant to read this story but I have Kindle Unlimited so it really costs no more for me to read a bad book than a good one under the program. I can always stop reading and return it if I don't like what I'm reading but I'm so glad I didn't listen to the bad reviews. But I will say this, you have to read at least the first 25% of the book before you begin to understand the direction the author is headed but she does a great job of setting up the story and the characters. Sadly, I think some reviewers may not have completed the book or they would have realized that Marcus, the antihero of the story, knew his dismal fate before he ever purchased Ava. That's one of the reasons he had to speed up his plan to save her. He had been planning this rescue for many years but his condition was one that had been diagnosed and treated earlier in his life but it returned with a vengeance which served as the catalyst for his actions. He was running out of time and knew it before he obtained Ava and brought her to his home. Marcus was almost twenty years older than Ava and desperately tried to distance himself from her personally in order to protect her. Unfortunately, he failed dismally. He fell in love with her and she with him. I believe some folks misunderstood the reason for him rescuing Daniel. He not only wanted to seek redemption in the act and provide for Ava's future safety and security, but he sincerely also wanted to help Daniel. He loved Ava enough that he was willing to sacrifice his own happiness with her to guarantee her protection and future well-being. He loved her enough that he never wanted her to be alone. Now that's what I call real love - giving away the one thing you treasure most. My heart broke for this man as well as Ava and Daniel. It made me wonder what I would have done had I ever been in his position. What would I have done to survive? I'd like to think that I would have been able to find and choose a different path but who really knows? Marcus may have started his early life being selfish but ended it as selfless. This is a remarkable and beautifully written story of love, loss, hope and redemption. My advice - please don't allow the negative comments to influence your decision to read this book.

I absolutely love Clarissa Wild's mind. This is the story of Marcus who makes desperate decisions in a desperate situation. Can you ever be forgiven for committing the ultimate sin? I very much appreciated the twists this story took. And the big reveal at the end made me tear up.

Clarissa Wild takes us into the darkness.... and sheds some light.

She gives us Ava.  Taken as a child... her family murdered in front of her on Christmas Day. Trained to be a servant... of every kind.

She knows that she must please her Master or be punished.

She finds herself with a new Master.  A Master that confuses her as he asks her to break all the rules she knows.  To express her thoughts, to feel.

 Princess-Elizabeth-300x252

Master Marcus... Cruel or not?

What is his end game? Is he just toying with Ava?

Will that be even more cruel than whipping her?

When one is a monster, how do you atone for your sins?

Can it even be done?

This story gives a twist on the whole dark master/slave stories.

It shows the side of the monster who made the slave, and the ultimate sacrifice he is willing to make to right his wrongs and set the slave free.

Very different and good!  Read this!

"I am done with being a villain. Today, I am reborn. Today, I take destiny into my own hands. I must stone for my ultimate sin, even if it kills me."

Who is Master Marcus and why does he go to great lengths to retrieve two seemingly faceless, nameless servants in a world full of lost souls? Throughout this story I was intrigued by his motivation and suspected the truth would be a revelation and I was not disappointed. Mater Marcus procures servant 5947 at great cost, ruffling the feathers of DeLuca, walking the fine line of life and death to ensure he gains ownership of her. She has been traded into the dark world of human trafficking and no longer views herself as a person just a living doll for her Master's pleasure. Her treatment at the hands of her trainer and current Master is dark, sordid and unfathomable. Yet her spirit is not crushed. Her spirit survives, the scars in her back a testament to her strength. Master Marcus sets about re training her...trying to make her become the person she was always destined to be.

Master Marcus is an enigma, part of the allegiance he is a man of great power that is caught in the under tow of society. Dealing in death, blood and suffering his soul is stained but the lives he has taken in his pursuit of survival in the murky waters he treads. Why has he bought Ava and why does he battle himself from taking ownership of her? Daniel is part of the plan yet proves to be the unexpected. How do all the puzzle pieces come together? Who is Marcus and what really is the Ultimate Sin?

A disturbingly dark Master/Servant story that explores life after entrapment and the adjustments of being set "free". The debriefing and re programming after years of abuse and violence shows Ava to be so innocent, naive and trusting. Still almost childlike in her views despite the trauma she has lived through. Daniel is toughened by his experience at the hands of his Mistress, his noble soul remaining in tact throughout all he has endured. Together they form a whole that is stronger together. Ultimate Sin is a fascinating read, different to the usual Master/Slave read as it explores after and returning to a semblance of normality. It kissed the gives stars ever so slightly as I needed those responsible to pay for their part of destroying innocence, for inflicting si much misery...hopefully this will be explored in a further story. Wonderfully dark and erotic in a oh so wrong but oh so right way the Ultimate Sin is an edgy read that guarantees to steam up your Kindle.

A four star I wanted more death read!

Ultimate Sin

4 stars

We all know Clarissa writes us some very dark tales. This is no different. Please be aware if you have triggers from abuse or violence against women please do not click up.

5497 and 5862 – bought and sold to Marcus Knight. She doesn’t know why her master has allowed her to be sold. She doesn’t understand why he sent her away with someone else. She tried to be good like she was supposed to … she tried to be the perfect servant … now her world has turned upside down and she doesn’t understand. Her new master has named her Ava. He as bought and sold as well to Master Marcus. Daniel is his name now. He doenst know why but it seems like their lives are about to change forever undoing all the training they have been held to since they were children. What do they do now?

Marcus has committed too many sins and now its time to right his wrongs. The Company is a problem. But with great laid plans maybe he can undo some of the wrong and make one thing in his life right. Time is a problem. Time has now become his enemy.

This was a serious read my friends. The characters are well written but I had trouble accepting Ava. Marcus repeatedly tried to break the cycle of being her “master” and she was so brainwashed that she couldn’t seem to find herself. At times I felt sorry for her and other times it was frustrating as all get out. There are so many pieces of the puzzle written into this story line. Again this is a very dark read and it will bring your emotions to the top making your hair stand on end at times. You will cheer for Marcus … your heart will break and you might or might not see the happily ever after. It depends on what you as the reader wanted to see. For me … GRRRRRR …. There is mention of characters we know from before as well that did make me giddy. Even the mention of their names was enough. SWOON! That was a big bonus for me because I would love to see how they are doing in a full length feature … hint! LOL!

If you are Clarissa Wild fan you are definitely going to want to click this one up. Thank you for the ARC. Review to post to Ramblings From Beneath The Sheets.

Rule #1: Never disobey master’s commands.
Rule #2: Always strive to please your master.
Rule #3: Don’t ever kill your master.

Breaking the rules is the ultimate sin.

All I am is a servant. Rules like these keep me alive. They’re all I’ve ever known.
Until him.
My new master: Marcus Knight, the charismatic and ambitious leader of an underground empire.
A man with a history he vows to destroy.
With his newfound ownership over me, he seeks to atone for his crimes … and to satisfy his wicked needs.
With love, he shows me what it means to belong to him … and it makes me question everything.
I don’t know why he chose me, but it feels too good to be true.
And it is.
Because I’m going to break all the rules.

“With my Master watching, I realize that what we’re doing is so wrong… but it feels so good. I can’t say no. Not to my Master. Not to these feelings. Not to wanting both of them at the same time.”

5 ultimate stars!! This book is so deliciously dirty, there’s not enough words to describe out dirty it is!!

Without giving too much away I will say this is one of the hottest books I’ve read in a VERY long time!!! Master Marcus is a sexy, dark and twisted!! I fell in love with him the minute he was introduced!! The pages are so steamy, you’ll need a cold shower after you read this book, or hey a good man!! This book is so worth the read, but Clarissa Wild can do no wrong in my eyes!

I received this for a honest review. Every book I read of Clarissa Wild I wonder if she can ever top that book because each book she puts out is just amazing. WOW, she really out done herself. This book is on the dark side but wow the meaning and lessons in the book are truly something. When I saw the chance to review this book and read the synopsis I knew it was one I did not want to pass up. I am so glad I went with my gut. FYI, might need a box of tissue. Yeah I cried at a few of the parts.

The girl aka slave was known as 5947. Of course she had others names as well but not any that they will approve in a review. Her story is heart breaking, but I do not think I will get into what lead her there. I think it is something you should truly have to read.

Girl 5947 who we later call Ava has a very cruel master. Her master DeLuca is one that truly does not deserve to even live. The torture she goes through is almost unbearable. He even wanted to brand her as a type of punishment. Due to him she bore scares that she will care with her for the rest of her life. She was train to be perfect and she was broken inside and out.

Marcus Knight is a man after reading this book you will have a love hate relationship with. After reading his story I understood the things he done. He had done so much wrong. Stuff that will eat him alive. He wanted to atone for his sin so to speak. Rewrite the wrong and he was going to start with Ava.

I love watching the interaction between Ava and Marcus. It seemed no matter how much he worked to try to make her free he failed. Now here Ava was faced with Marcus bring in another male slave that they will call Daniel. What is Master Marcus plan? Why did he bring in another slave? Is he truly a good guy or is he the monster he claims?

In this book we will watch Ava grow. She will struggle between being slave and wanting to break free. Will will watch her break rules, be built up, and then be broken again. I truly loved this story. I loved how Marcus try to rewrite the wrong. Question is is it to late to fix what you have broken?

Ava (5947) was raised to be a slave, but not born to be one. She was born in a normal home with two loving parents. But soon that was taken from her, and she was sold for a debt. Master DeLura is the evil of evilest man I’ve read. He trains 5947 to be silent and obedient. He punishes her for being human, and because he is vile.
Marcus Knite isn’t a man I would ever call good, but he saves Ava. He buys her form Master DeLura, and tries to tech her about the world. He induces her to things most people take for granted, and shows her what it is like to be treated like a human. However, Marcus isn’t all good. He has his own sins to face, and shows Ava what he really is.
Clarissa Wild continues to impress me with her books. She has an amazing way of letting us connect to her characters. Ultimate Sin is an outstanding book. I would highly recommend it.

ATALIA'S REVIEW

Through its intricate twists and turns, Ultimate Sin tells the story of redemption and rebirth.

WOW. Let me start by saying, if you already have some sort of idea in mind as to how this book will end, throw it out the window because you will not see it coming. All I have to say is that the cover really makes sense now ;) and has such great meaning to the story. I’m the type of reader that has such an overactive imagination. Once I start a book, my brain starts calculating how the book will end or the different places it will go. The first mystery we come across, regarding exactly who Marcus Knight really is, was on I saw coming and was anticipating since his introduction in the beginning of the story. But what I was definitely not expecting was what happens later. Did not see that one coming. And I’ll leave it at that or else I’ll just keep blabbing on about it lol

I also enjoyed the multiple POVs, I love it when you can get into the minds of different characters and see situations in a whole new light. Having more than one POV really did this story justice. No only does it allow the reader to fully grasp the story but we are able to really appreciate and see the character development. Especially when it comes to Ava. Oh my. What she went through is not something I would never wish upon anyone and unfortunately, one that someone may be experiencing now. She lived such a tragic life but got such a beautiful ending. Witnessing her life change, as well as other characters, was such a great experience!

Ultimate Sin is one I would highly recommend to readers who enjoy dark romance books and those who love an unexpecting ending! This book will keep you on your toes, have you reaching for a fan, and will have you nearly breaking your page turning finger in anticipation of whats to come next.
