In the world of elementary school football, your strongest safety is your mom.
Monica Morris has a special kind of PTSD.

The kind that you get when you’re a divorced single mom.
And the jerk who left you is a professional football player..
She swears off the big, tall, alpha men that ruined her life.

Until she’s rescued by me.

I’m Hercules Ward.
Former star linebacker.
My biggest passion now that I’m retired is coaching kids.
I’m larger than life, baby.
In every way that counts.

I’m a hero to Monica’s kid.
She’s gonna need all the help she can get.
Her ex-husband is a real prick.
Her son’s coach is corrupt.
And together, they’re looking to cause Monica a lot of grief.
She’s a strong woman, sure.

That’s where I come in.

This is the 3rd book in this entertaining series, and this is Monica and Herc’s story. Monica is a single mom who works hard, and the last thing she wants is a relationship, especially someone like her ex. Herc is a former football star, and is her son’s idol, and he is determined to prove to Monica that he is not like her ex, and to take a chance on him, but he certainly has his work cut out for him! This is a beautifully writes story which is heart-warming, humorous, witty, steamy and is relatable. I highly recommend for all.

Too much sex and many mistakes

This book is all about sex. There are too many mistakes in grammar or just too many missing words. I cannot believe that people with jobs think non stop about sex and dominating exes. The plot line is weak and moves too fast for a single mom to be the main character.b

Loved. Lots of heat

Loved the chemistry between Hercules and Monica. There's an instant attraction when they met but Monica is not interested in another relationship especially with a football player but Herd us determined to change her mind there's drama, and challengs. Engaging read. Recommend

too many errors

This book had too many errors in wording at times to make any sense.
It jumps from one scene to a different scene without transition.

This is book three in the Mom Rom Com series but can be read as a standalone. I haven’t read the first two books in the series and I didn’t feel like I was missing information. Book three is Monica and Hercules’ story.

Monica is a divorced single mom. Her ex is a professional football player. He’s an absolute jerk. Hercules (Herc) is a former linebacker and is now coaching kids’ football at one of the private schools in town.

Monica and Herc know each other. He punched out her ex and her son Ben worships the ground Herc walks on. He’s Bens favorite player. Herc coaches’ football for the rival team of the school Ben attends. Ben’s coach is an insufferable jerk.

Herc is ready to settle down and wants a relationship. He really likes Monica. He’s been looking for the right woman and he thinks he’s found that with Monica. Monica is afraid to go down that road again with Herc. She’s been burnt bad by her ex. She’s believes professional football players are all the same, egotistical, self-centered jerks will eventually cheat on you. She doesn’t want to deal with that again, so she swore no more football players. Herc is different though and he needs to convince Monica that they are worth the risk.

I really enjoyed this book. I haven’t read the first two books in the series, but I didn’t feel lost. Books one and two are definitely going on my Kindle.

Monica was married to an NFL star and is happy to be divorced and taking care of her 9-year-old son, Ben. When she bumps into Hercules (Herc), an ex NFL star and the idol of her son, they are immediately attracted to each other. But Monica doesn't need another man like her no-good ex. And Herc pulls out the big guns to prove Monica they would be great together.

Very easy to read and funny I read this in a couple of hours. I liked Monica and Herc together (he was so determined from the start to win her over!).

I do think the descriptions of the other parents of the prep school Ben attends a bit OTT. Why would you want to work there or have your kid at that school when everyone is the standard bored horny housewife with the husbands off 'scr*** their secretaries'? I thought that was a sometimes offensive and stereotyped. Plus I was a bit put off at the sex scenes (very hot!) with the name he called her.

But overall I did enjoy the book a lot and the fast paced romance! So that evened out the things I did not like so much. Win-win.

*** I received an ARC via Booksprout thanks to the author and this is my honest and voluntary review. ***

Heartwarming, funny, and very sexy. Monica is a single mother, working hard running her business. She doesn't want a relationship right now. She's just concentrating on her son and her business. She doesn't want the heartache she suffered from her ex. Who doesn't even hardly spend time with his own son. Then she runs into Hercules. A former football player, her son's hero, and her ex's former rival. Hercules see Monica again and immediately wants her. Wants her for the long term. Wants a family with her. But she's afraid of getting involved again with a football player. Hercules has his work cut out for him. I loved these two characters. They confront her ex, and her son's football coach. Monica is tough and she fights for herself and her son. Ben, her son, is quite the character. He's only 10 but old beyond his years. And some of the things he says are funny. My only negative is that there was way too, too, much of the F... word in this book. A little is ok but this was over the top. This is a wonderful love story about Monica, a single mom and her 9 year old son Ben and Hercules, a former NFL player who her son idolizes. Monica was married to a NFL player Buck and he was a lousy husband and father and he seems to enjoy being rude and mean to them and never spends any quality time with Ben. Monica has started her own business and has made if very successful and raises her son on her own and has sworn off men, especially football players. Ben may not know his father well but he is one heck of a player but at his private school the coach only gives playing time to his own son. One day Monica runs into Herc while dropping her son off and they have a connection and she tries to ignore it as Herc has a bad past with her ex husband. Herc realizes that Monica is something special and does what is necessary to be in her life and Ben’s. Once trouble finds them does Herc go all out to show Monica and Ben he can take care of them. This is the 1st story I read by Ellie and have really enjoyed it and look forward to reading many more! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

3.5 stars****. Monica is an entrepreneur with her own salon, single football mom and her ex Buck is a NFL baller. He is very egocentric and is a really lousy father to eight year old Ben. She runs into Hercules when she takes Ben to school. He retired from the NFL and now coaches kids at a private school. Ben is being passed over for field time because the coach’s son the quarterback and he is living his failure vicariously through his son. And, he seems to be a misogynist. Herc goes with Monica to see the coach and it’s not a satisfactory meeting of the minds. Herc and Monica have some serious chemistry going on which he is happy about but she is wary to get involved with another athlete. Buck is not happy about his old teammate spending time with his ex. Although it is a private school, seems they have the same drama at a higher dollar threshold. Herc and Ben hit it off and he spends quality time with this precocious young man. This is a lightweight tale of the wear and tear of a single mom. Entertaining!!

After reading the blurb, what I read was different from what I expected. I was excited for this story but was disappointed. I expected a little more reluctance by Monica to get involved with another football player, yet the minute Herc gave her attention, she was more than willing to jump in the sack immediately. Also, where was the Rom Com?

I’m not one who is prudish in any way, I loved Fifty Shades, or one who doesn’t use foul language frequently, but I was completely turned off by the sex scenes and honestly felt the language, and some of the actions, were juvenile at best in the angsty parts. I mean how many times do we have to read about someone spitting at someone. Who does that anymore?

I think with an editor, and a content editor, this would have been a lot better. Maybe it was just me, who knows, looks like a lot of other people loved it, but these are my thought and feelings on Hell’s Bells.

This is my 1st read and review for this author and I loved this story and I can’t wait to read more from this author. Monica is a single mum who’s ex is a NFL player and her son Benjamin takes after his father when it comes to the sport but the coach at his school keeps benching him so Benjamin wants to go to a different school because his hero Hercules Ward is coaching at that other school. Benjamin bumps into Hercules at his school and Hercules remembers playing against the kids dad Hercules punched him in the mouth and Benjamin said that he deserved it. Monica told Benjamin to hurry up and get to class and Hercules nearly fell over when he saw her she is even more beautiful than what she was then and Monica was beautiful then. I’m not going to get too much into this story it’s a funny sweet and it’s sexy and I loved Benjamin he was such a great kid, this story made me feel good after I had finished it and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

This is a great fun read that had me chuckling out loud in parts a book I have no hesitation at all in recommending

Monica is a single mum to a nine year old sin Benjamin(Ben) she was previously married to Buck a NFL star who was more interested in chasing skirt than he was spending time with either his wife or son She has started her own business and is very successful and she has no intention of ever letting another man into her life Then her son meets Hercules (Herc) and Herc realises that she is the perfect woman for him though she won't give him the time of day after all he knew her husband and is an ex NFL player himself. When he becomes involved in helping to get Ben some playing time his coach is living his life through his son and won't give Ben playing time even though he is a great player the connection between them start to strengthen Will she give him a chance and do they have a future together You will have to read to see

Monica's ex is a professional football player and was a bad husband as well as a bad father. When Monica started her business she put men on the back burner and concentrated on that and her son. Hercules used to be a professional football player but now coaches private school. It just so happens to be the school Monica's son goes to. Her son loves him and talks about him nonstop. Hercules is ready to settle down and wants to do so with Monica. He knows given what her history is that she is wary to try anything with him but he is determined to prove her that he is different. Can Hercules show her that he is nothing like her ex husband? Will she give him a chance at her heart?

This is an amazing story that will draw you in from the first chapter on. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

This is an enjoyable sports RomCom. Monica is a single Mom, raising a.9 year old son. Her ex husband is an NFL player who is horrible. Hercules (Herc) is a former NFL player who has history with Monica’s ex. These two have serious chemistry and insta-steam.

Their romance is steam, with a side of sweet. I loved how Herc was mindful of how his actions impacted her son Ben. Ben was adorable.

Overall, this was a book I enjoyed. It was a quick read, had some very funny moments. I am interested in reading more works by this author and will look into the book she has about Herc’s friend who is the Dean of Students.

This is my first time reading any of Rowe's books, but I wanted something light and romantic for a change. She hit all the right notes with the alpha male lead who ended up with a soft spot for Monica and her son Ben (a self proclaimed super fan of Herc's). Unlike all the soccer moms in the school where he coached, Monica didn't want anything to do with him since she had already been down that road with her ex NFL husband. Herc believed she was worth pursuing and now he only needed Monica to believe he was a safe bet. The heat will scorch you. The thrill ride makes you stand up and take notice and in the end.....a HEA.

The book is good. I got a bit confuse in the beginning because the author write it like Herc and Monica have a history together but after reading in the next chapter I think it's just an attraction which they didn't pursue because Monica had a boyfriend/husband back then. So... I (try to) understand when they hooked up too early for my liking. BUT THAT SCENE IS SO HOT. The story is also well written, I like that it has no drama about stupid misunderstanding and Ben is so smart. I give the book 4.5 stars because I don't like submission kind of thing.

I loved this one too, this is the third book in the series and it is funny as heck. Monica is fed up with her ex bing a pita towards her. He didn't think anything of cheating on her when they were together, he doesn't treat their son very well, and can't be bothered to take the time to spend any quality time with their son. Herc Ward, was in the NFL with Monica's ex and is the one man who has had an interest in Monica even while she was married to her jerk of an ex. Herc and Monica meet at her son's school, and the fun between the two makes for a great read.

The right one?
Monica is a single mom due to divorcing her philandering and uninterested husband. Showing little to no interest in their son, she is relieved when he doesn’t come around. Her business is prospering, and her son is well adjusted and quite talented in football. When she runs into Herc a retired player that is coaching the team for another school, they both realize that there is something very special with each other. They take things slowly so that Ben isn’t disappointed if nothing comes of it. The story, characters, and writing are all outstanding and make this a must read!

Hell's Bells is book three of the Mom Rom Com series and if you have read the first two books Route 69 and After School Special then you know how hilarious and entertaining this series is. In Hell's Bells we get Monica and Hercules story. She's a single mom with a horrible ex-husband. Hercules is a former NFL player who knows Monica's ex and is the coach of her son's rival football team. Herc and Monica have instant chemistry and he was the perfect guy for her and her son. This is a fun read with a perfect ending. I look forward to reading more books by this author. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Saying that this book is full of steam is an understatement but what thrilled me most were how the characters were the perfect match. Monica is a single mom with a boy who loves football. His dad, a football star, is a prick. When Monica encounters an old acquaintance who happens to be her son’s hero well there is no stopping them from diving into a passionate relationship that will lead towards a HEA. This is my first read with this author and I enjoyed her writing very much. A funny, sexy and passionate book.

This book made me laugh, angry, smile, fan myself from the steam coming off the book and made me fall in love with Herc, Monica and Ben. Herc was protective, lovable, HAF and an all around great guy. Monica was leery about falling for another football player she was quite the mama bear when it came to her son. Ben was such a great boy. I wanted to give him a big hug. He was a real star in the book. There was plenty of banter and connection in this book.

I received a free copy of this book and I do hope they corrected the errors in the book before publication.

A hot connection between an ex-wife of one nfl player and another former pro player.

Even if Monica has a jerk for an ex, Herc is a better role model - and the number one for for Herc. Ben is a sweetie who deserves a better man for a father - and they have a shot, if they can work past hot tempers and past fears and scars.

Sweet on the family and new romance elements. Explicitly steamy m/f encounters. Language, some violent threats, mostly contained by the good guys.

Intense KU read!

A phenomenal read! Beautifully written, well-developed, and emotionally deep! It is drama-filled with twists and ups and downs, witty, funny, and a fast pace page-turner. The characters – Hercules and Monica are strong and perfect together; the chemistry between them is off the charts, potent, and intense! Monica’s son Benjamin is also quite amazing, smart, and sweet – he added so much substance and enjoyment to this story. Definitely recommended!

3.5 Stars***This is an enjoyable story but there are a lot of details and metaphors, which make the flow a bit cumbersome. Herc, Monica and Ben are interesting characters, and Herc and Monica do make a good couple. But it was hard to reconcile Monica’s feelings about getting involved with another NFL player with her first intimate encounters with Herc and how quickly she succumbs to him. I did like the storyline, but I found myself skipping through parts at times. However, there’s an element of drama that adds excitement to their story, which amplifies the entertainment factor.

Monica is a single mom with a 9 year old son Ben. She is not interested in marriage, particularly not to a NFL football player since her ex-husband, an NFL football player was such a lousy husband and father. Herc is retired from the NFL and is coaching Ben's elementary football team. He is also Ben's hero. When Herc meets Monica there is instant attraction at least on his part, but he must work hard to breat through the barriers she has put up to protect herself from heartbreak. Will he succeed?

Excellent and entertaining rom com. The characters are funny and well developed by Ms. Rowe. Herc was a football player and now coaches kids at the elementary level. He seems to be the target of admiration from many of the lonely moms. Monica was burned by her ex who plays professional football so she stays away from such men. She’s not happy that Herc is her sons coach but... I received a complementary copy of this book via Booksprout and chose to write a review. I look forward to reading future books by Ms. Rowe.
