Walking the line, exercising self-control, and respecting boundaries was never my thing. Thou shall not covet thy neighbor’s wife—it’s one of the ten commandments and the number one rule you don’t break when you’re a prospect for the Satan’s Knights. I fell in love with the former vice president’s wife. A lethal mistake on my behalf, that only left me bitter and standing on the edge of an overpass.
I would’ve jumped if it hadn’t been for the terrified girl, crying on the other side of the fence. She was seventeen and the district attorney’s daughter. She was also pregnant with my little brother’s baby. Desperate to avoid the wrath of her powerful father, she hid her pregnancy and protected us all in the process.
If anyone deserved a happy ending it was Carrie.
What she got instead was a damn tragedy. The kind of unimaginable horror that crushes your soul and breaks your heart. Now, we’re both standing on the edge of the overpass, walking a different kind of line, ready to jump.
Janine Infante Bosco lives in New York City, she has always loved reading and writing. When she was thirteen, she began to write her own stories and her passion for writing took off as the years went on. At eighteen, she even wrote a full screenplay with dreams of one day becoming a member of the Screen Actors Guild.
Janine writes emotionally charged novels with an emphasis on family bonds, strong willed female characters, and alpha male men who will do anything for the women they love. She loves to interact with fans and fellow avid romance readers like herself.
She is proud of her success as an author and the friendships she's made in the book community but her greatest accomplishment to date would be her two sons Joseph and Paul.
1. That cover model looks nothing like how I imagined the hero. Absolutely nothing. 2. I loved this story!
Oh, my sweet, adorable, kind yet miserable, sexy Nico. Your heart is solid gold!
If you've been reading about these lovable Satan's Knights, you've already fallen in love with Nico.
If you haven't read anything about them yet, you will discover all of the joy and pain and radiance that comes from diving deep into this world.
Nico grew up with the Satan's Knights' princess, Lacey. It was no wonder he had a crush. She was nice and pretty and his best friend. That crush transcends with time and his love for her knows no bounds. So what if she's married? Her husband isn't good enough for her. So what if she's pregnant? He can love that baby as his own. But that wasn't in the cards for him because his love wasn't reciprocated. Not to mention, it was causing problems within the club. So he backed off, nursing his wounds, broken and not believing that things could be better.
And then things get worse...
His teenage brother got his teenage girlfriend pregnant. It wouldn't be such a huge problem if her father weren't the district attorney looking to take them all down. When she's kicked out of her house, the Scottos rally and show her what family really looks like. JIB made this as beautiful as always peeps!
But you know the pain is gonna come. Because you can't appreciate the beauty of a happy ending without a bit of heartache.
Nico is once again the caregiver for a pregnant woman. She's nothing like Lacey, but that ends up being a great thing. She's too young, but she's spunky and kind and pretty irresistible. But he must resist. She's his brother's girl. Forbidden fruit. The sweetest temptation.
Then there's utter devastation. The startling clarity that only being the Property of Parrish gives you. And the sweetest surrender that comes with accepting what is.
Is this really the end of the Satan's Knights? Are you telling me I'll get no more stories about these incredible people? Say it ain't so!! I will always be #PropertyOfParrish
Nico's story is an emotional thrill ride from page one! Wolf's son already tugged heartstrings while pining for Lacey but he just breaks your heart and bring on the ugly cries as he finds love Walking the Line. No one turns leather wrapped bad boys into soul melting marshmallows like Janine. Add to the fact that you become completely attached to all of her characters in the world' she creates , a reader cannot help but get emotional while reading. This book will leave you sobbing, putting it down, picking it up to cry more but as always in the end the love leaves you smiling
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

This is the third book in the Satan's Knights Prospect Trilogy and man oh man I don't even think there is a way to prepare for this book. I was a mess. An emotional mess. And part of that is this huge thing I am going through in life but this book will just take you there in the moment with these characters and you are living a life right with them. Nico and and Carina have quiet the story to tell and everything just is I don't even have a word for it besides wow, holy cow, Janine what are you doing to me?, I think I said all those things and more reading this book. Which tends to make my family look at me like I am crazy but man was I so into this book that I would lose track of myself. This is Janine Infante Bosco at her finest. This is why I fell in love with her writing and her characters and just can never ever get enough. I am not going to tell you a thing about this story. I went into it basically blind. I don't even think I read the description myself. I just grab them and gobble them up and that is what you need to do too!! There is a reason she is my favorite author and that will never change. Walking The Line is a perfect book for you too to say that Janine if your favorite author of all time too. I would give this books a million stars if I could. Do not miss it or you are missing out on some of the most magical words ever.
Yes, because what all of us readers want to see is the supposed "hero" of the story being so in love with OW HIS ENTIRE LIFE and suffering SO MUCH FOR HIM TO BE ABLE TO TAKE HIS OWN LIFE BECAUSE SHE BELONGS TO OTHER ONE! Oh! And his dick also seems to have stopped working because of OW so there is not much space to make the real "heroin" story something that isn't a consolation prize.🙄🙄🙄🤦♀️
When it comes to romance Ms. Bosco has become an author I can count on for emotionally intense reads that pull at my heartstrings and leave an indelible mark on my soul. She’ll have the same affect on you with this final installment in the Satan’s Knights Prospect Trilogy that has the kindhearted Nico forming a connection to his younger brother’s baby mama as the notion of brotherhood, family, and finding your own happiness wage war with each other. While there’s a bit of romance it’s more about the emotional rollercoaster ride readers undertake in watching these two characters make the best of a fate that’s not always fair or kind. It’s a journey that I found myself captivated by and shedding lots of tears over with each turn of the page.
Nico Scotto’s always wanted to be a patched-in member of the Satan’s Knights MC, but lately that goal seems out of reach. Add in a broken heart because of his unrequited love for Lacey, the pregnant wife of the Club’s former VP, and Nico’s at the end of his rope. He sees all his brothers, even his father, finding HEA and desperately wants that for himself...but he knows it will never be with Lacey no matter how much he wants it to. Ending up at the top of a bridge overlooking the freeway is a dark point for him, but it introduces him to the one bright spot that will change his life irrevocably in a journey that shows just how big of a heart he has. Nico’s a delicious hero who always seems to have the right answer even when he’s at his most conflicted. He’s tough with a protective side that comes out in defense of those he claims as his and his heart of gold endeared him to me and has me dreaming of him still.
Carina Ritzer held onto her V-Card until she found a man worthy of her...Frankie Scotto, the straight A star quarterback who loves her wholeheartedly. Their first night together though leads to a surprising pregnancy that sets her father on the warpath and has her living with Frankie’s brother Nico after she’s thrown out of her house. She’s met Nico before, at his darkest point, which makes for awkwardness early on before their connection becomes a friendship. It’s a friendship that slowly becomes more, a friendship that at times becomes undefinable in a heart wrenching tale. Many times Carina shows herself to be wise beyond her years, a force to be reckoned with as her motherly instincts were quick to emerge. She just rolled with the punches fate sent her way, making the best of a situation she never planned for and I found much to admire about her.
From start to finish this isn’t your typical MC romance as the focus is more on the heart and soul than gritty action. On that level it’s a triumph as the connection between Nico and Carina pulled at my heartstrings and kept me on the edge of my seat watching the not-so-easy answers to the burgeoning romance between this unlikely couple. From the moment readers discovered the meaning of being “Property of Parrish” the importance of family, brotherhood, and loyalty has been all-important and plays a big role here as this fragile couple needs all the support they can get in a very angsty journey to HEA.
I'm guessing this book wrap's up the series. I guess I'm missing something because I don't feel like it's done...oh wait there's still a Christmas book. Maybe it'll feel like it then. A lot of things happened in this one. We have a big loss, a birth and of course love. I think what I'm missing is what caused the accident?? Did I fall asleep and not go back far enough? We have pretty much everyone as a couple now and if I understand correctly there is a spin off of this series but it's written by a different author... Khloe Wren. I'm going to try it after the Christmas book.
Over all this has been a fantastic series and you can't go wrong with it. IF you don't mind a dirty mouth and all the naughty bits and there is blood.
Waling the Line is the 3rd book in the Satan Knights Prospect Trilogy. As you can expect with all Janine's books this novel was filled with brotherhood, family support, love and so much more. This story will take you on an emotional roller-coaster ride and give you all the feels as you go on this journey with Nico and Carina. It was well written and will touch your heart. You will feel every emotion and as you get to know these characters you will fall in love with them. I was hooked from beginning to end and could not put this story down and these characters are still on my mind a day after finishing the book. This was no simple love story, it was real and honest and it will hurt, but you will love it all the more. Walking the Line was another fantastic page-turner from Janine Infante Boscoe. I loved it and would highly recommend it to all romance lovers.
Walking the Line is emotional, heartbreaking and tragic, but at the same time it is filled with love, family and brotherhood. It is that brotherhood that you have come to expect from Janine’s stories and it is that support that gets everyone through the tough times. Family is everything in her books and being the Property of Parrish means you will always have family that has your back! You get one life, don’t waste it!
Nico oh Nico this story broke my heart into pieces and I cried basically whole time reading it. Very emotional, intense and strong story! Definitely a must read! 5/5 stars
The wait yes is finally over and OMG this book from cover to cover had you wishing for the HEA to come. Well it did in some ways for certain people, you live your life to the fullest with no regrets. Two young kids brought together by love created a child, but the bigger bond came with responsibility. The one who protected her daily and tried so hard to fight the feelings he had deep inside. Green Eyes and the Water Fairy will endure the test of time to make it to the end. With the loss of the ones you hold closest to your heart will you ever be able to heal again. Just grab your copy and enjoy this ride.
Janine did one amazing job with this one. Right from the start she has you hooked when Carrie meets Nico. What a way to meet someone. From there the storyline only gets more interesting with each page you turn. I loved the chemistry between Nico and Carrie. It was off the charts amazing maybe because it was forbidden. There was some very touching moments in this one. Shocking moments and moments were i wanted to cry. I literally almost threw my kindle during part of this book. Janine takes you on a ride full of emotions. But in the end it is all good. Another enjoyable book from her that i highly recommend.
Amazon you need to have more then five stars for this book because this book was off the charts amazing! if you haven’t read this entire Satan’s knights series you are missing out these books aren’t your typical MC story these books are about loyalty family and what families go thru everyday it’s the good the bad and the ugly parts of life and it’s sad and funny and omg o can’t believe this is happening it’s EVERYTHING! these characters stay with you forever you will all become property of Parrish and Scotto in the end amazing!!!
It was a really good story, but the ending was not good at all! There really should have been more to it than that. They should have gotten together alot sooner than the time frame they did. It just made it alot less believable with what they felt for each other, that it took so long.
I Love how Janine makes these burly bikers melt with the ones they love. This book will make you cry your eyes out and fall so in love with the Scotto family!!
Janine Infante Bosco hit the bullseye with this one. WALKING THE LINE had everything in it ... happiness, sorrow, despair, guilt and love. It had a family that you just wanted to be a part of and brothers who would do anything for each other ... even if it meant putting your own dreams away. It was about understanding, forgiveness and acceptance.
I'll admit, I spent the latter half of this book reading the words through tear choked eyes. The tears were literally flowing. I was shattered, heartbroken ... completely decimated. These characters, the Scotto family, owned my heart, as did a seventeen year old confused young lady. But the one who really stole my heart was a little girl called Anna Banana ... she certainly knows how to rule a roost.
What if crossing the line breaks your heart?"
I have loved all of Ms Bosco's leading men, but Nico Scotto stole every piece of my heart. Here was a man continually tormented by love. First, by a girl he grew up with (his first love) but could never ever have, and now second by Carrie Ritzer, his brother's girlfriend and mother-to-be of his future niece or nephew. Nico has such a big heart and all he wants is someone to share it with, even if that someone is untouchable. Nico and Carrie are thrown together under difficult circumstances, their friendship blossoms into something deeper, but it cannot happen. Will they cross the thin line that they have built up? Will Nico betray his brother's trust?
This was such a poignant story. One of two people needing to oversome all the barricades that have been laid out before them to find their own happiness. But is happiness possible when you love two brothers at the same time? Did fate step in one night at a lonely overpass?
Simply beautiful and absolutely heartbreaking. A fitting way to finish Satan's Knights Prospect Trilogy.
There’s not a lot of MC dealings in this book it’s more about family and having each other’s back, Carrie hasn’t got much of a family life, there’s only her and her father and he’s only interested in his reputation as DA, so when he finds out his 17 year old daughter is pregnant he throws her out of his home.
Falling Pregnant the first time she has sex and before her 17th birthday isn’t ideal but Frankie and his family step up and take Carrie in treating her like one of their own. In doing so wether he likes it or not Nico suddenly has a housemate, the young pregnant girl who witnessed him at his lowest and is apparently his younger brother Frankies girlfriend. Nico seems to have a hard time with love, he’s thought he was in love with Lacey his fellow MC brother Blackies wife for as long as he can remember but sometimes Real love comes when your least expecting it and with the totally wrong person. No matter how hard u try to push it away or deny it, that kind of love shows and its inevitable that if you cross the line someone will get hurt. This is the Final book in the prospect trilogy and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Nico Is a great character, he loves hard and isn’t afraid to do the little things like painting a girls toes when her pregnant tummy will no longer allow her to. His father Wolf is like a sheep in wolves clothing when he’s with his family which is a great side to see and Riggs also pops up quite a bit (my favourite tiger from previous books) A great read
From the Foreward to the end of this story, I was crying, hoping for the best, and cheering on Nico. I was heartbroken for him and his family, but I also wanted him to find his HEA. He had a rough time finding it, and it was the expense of others, but he finally finds his love.
Nico is a prospect for the Satan Knights who just wants to follow in his father’s footsteps, but his prospect duties could push him over the edge. He isn’t tested like the other prospects his tests are personal and they could destroy his family as well as him.
I loved this story even though it was tragic and heart wrenching. Nico has a hard time seeing himself in a good light, but he’s not the bad person he thinks he is. He’s just a man who falls for the wrong woman and can’t find his way to true happiness without someone getting hurt. He just keeps getting put into the wrong situations and needs someone to see the real him and understand his heart.
I give this story a 5-star review and whole heartedly recommend this story. If you’ve read any of the Satan Knights stories, you will love this one just as much as the others. The only thing is, make sure you have the tissues handy. Being Property of Parrish means so much more in this story to me. It shows two people finding the love they both need and want so badly, but they have to go through so much to get there. They’ll have to find their way back to each other for their HEA, and they will, eventually, but they need to heal before they can find that love and forever.
This story is more than I could have imagined. I wasn't ready for what I was expecting, but it was what I wasn't expecting that completely ruined me. The end of an era so to speak, but oh, so much more than that. It's family. The good, the bad, the broken, the ones you're born into, the ones you choose for yourself, and the ones that choose you. It's love and heartbreak, sacrifice, penance and redemption, the most joyous and most inconsolable moments. Knowing, without a doubt, that you aren't and never will be alone. Nico and Carrie's story will wring every emotion out of you, it will split you open, gut you to the extreme and just when you think you can't take one minute more, you get a little glimmer of hope. Bright green eyes, a playful smirk, a six pound four ounce reason for living. And a gentle reminder that 'We only get one life' and we need to 'Make it count'. It's well established that we're all Property of Parrish, but with everything that this author has poured into this story, the blood, sweat and each and every one of the tears, we're also Property of Bosco, and she is ours as well.
Love, pain, heartache and coming out the other side is what this outstanding book offers readers. It is the third book in the Satan’s Knights Prospect Trilogy and it is Nico and Carrie’s story. There are certain elements that one expects in a book about a motorcycle club but this book is not typical, it is extraordinary. Carrie is a recently turned seventeen-year-old girl who is living with her boyfriend, Frankie’s family because her father kicked her out when he finds out she is pregnant. The Scotto family is more than just its members by blood, they truly have amassed a powerful group of individuals who are there for each other come hell or highwater and are loyal to a fault. The longer one reads, the harder one falls for this moving, gripping and totally encapsulating storyline. You cannot help but become attached to these people and when they bleed, you bleed. When they cry, you cry too. This is a story about passion, betrayal, and rebuilding one’s faith after a tragedy. This is one book not to be missed! I volunteered to read an advance copy of this book.
"I didn’t see it coming. I should’ve, but I didn’t. And now, I can’t forget it." This is no ordinary love story but it's a freaking perfect one! It's real, raw, and honest. Author Janine Infante Bosco is a master storyteller in her craft of writing. She holds nothing back as she gaves everything she has and puts it on the line, especially in this book. She digs deep pulling out every emotion you can imagine.
With red eyes and no more tears left, I can already feel the effects this will have on me… it's going to be one huge book hangover! This book is EVERYTHING!! It's about family, the one you're born in and the one you choose yourself. It's about a brotherhood and the bond they share. It's about walking the line and realizing you want more. How fate shows up when you least expect it to and you try to anchor yourself while holding on to your lifeline. It's about a modern day hero and heroine that have no choice but to survive the best they can through the storms and obstacles life throws their way. It's about love. Loving someone so deep that the chemistry jumps out of the pages along with the words and into the reader's hearts. It's about never forgetting fate is written in the stars.
“What if we were both put on that overpass to cross the line?”
What an Outstanding Read. This is so much more than just an just your typical MC Romance. This is a very heartfelt storyline about brotherhood, family, loyalty and courage. It’s about having the strength to carry on no matter what life throws your way and standing with for family, be it blood or brotherhood. The book is very well written with a storyline that flows from page to page. Not only that, the storyline takes you one family's amazing journey through the good, the bad, the tragic and they joyous of times. I found myself laughing, crying and praying for any type of happy ending. I must offer kudos to the author for what I consider to be an amazing read.
I honestly don’t want to give any of the storyline away which makes this review so hard to write. I can only Highly suggest you grab this one up asap. It took me on a very emotional ride that I won’t soon forget. In fact it’s one of those stories that I just know I’ll be reading again and again. 5 stars is simply not enough but since that is all that’s allowed I give Walking the Line, 2 Thumbs Up and 5 Stars.
As the tears fell just from reading the foreword I knew I would be walking the line between happiness and despair. My heart took a battering with Nico and Carrie’s story at times and as I rode the emotional turmoil I wasn’t sure what the ending had in store for me. I felt like a hormonal teenager as I went from laughing to sobbing in a blink of an eye. Their story was one of two people who were not meant to have those lines blurred between love and in love, but the heart wants what it wants. As the words of their journey wrap themselves around your heart and soul, you will feel the burn, the ache, the guilt and the connection. As I sobbed my heart out in the early hours of the morning unable to put the book down, I wasn’t sure where the ending would take me. A love that would mend hearts and soothe the soul is what Nico and Carrie’s story was. I will forever be Property of Parrish but am now a firm member of the Scotto Family.
This is not your usual MC book, it isn’t even your usual Satan’s Knights book. This book is about family, the one we are born into and the one we choose. This is the most amazing book Ms. Bosco has released to date. From the first moment you start this book, before the prologue even begins, your heart will grow, your eyes will water and you will feel a love and compassion most powerfully. The Scotto family is unique, it is inclusive, and it is full of so much love, sarcasm and loyalty that you will wish they lived next door to you (at least I would love them to be my neighbors)! I loved every page of this story, even when my heart broke and the tears fell, because “on the heels of every great loss, there is something more beautiful waiting.” Thank you Ms. Bosco for a book that will forever be a favorite on my shelf!
I'm not sure if this will be coherent, because I am in a complete book hangover. I. NEED. MORE.
-More Parrish -More Scotto's -More Santan's Knights -DEFINITELY more NICO!!!
I was scared going in because I knew this book was going to wreck me, but nothing could stop me from reading Nico, or anything that Janine writes. I was still not prepared...........I. AM. NOT. OKAY.
Nico is the prospect I have been waiting for, wanting him forever. He was so much more than I ever thought he would be. I was sucked in from the start and read straight through soaking it up and soaking my shirt with tears a few times on the way. This was simply brilliant!
Janine Infante Bosco has that THING that all authors want but unfortunately, it can't be taught or learned.
You keep writing them, I'll keep reading them, and loving them!
I really hope this is not the last of #propertyofParrish
Nico is a man who had given his heart to the wrong woman and the after effects have left him damaged and unsure how to go forward until he meets a pregnant teenage girl on a bride who shows him another way.
Carrie is sixteen pregnant and feeling very alone when she comes across Nico. They never expected how their lives would become intertwined or the consequences that it would bring.
This is an emotional story about love, family and choices. Choices that you make and choices that you have no control over. It is about realizing that true family is about the people who support you through all the challenges that life throws at you and that sometimes there is a bigger plan even if you don’t see it at the time.
Wow! What an incredibly emotional and powerful story. I shed some tears on the subway reading it. The love and loyalty of the Scotto family is absolutely beautiful. Rounding out the emotion was a lot of lighter funny moments between those guys. I love the banter between Nico, Enzo and Riggs.
Nico oh Nico....can this dude’s heart catch a break. Good lord what a path the author takes this man on. Carina is just wise beyond her age. Thrust into becoming an adult real fast I found her character to be sassy and strong. A perfect match for Nico. I throughly enjoyed seeing the whole family interact and come together. The way this family is written I always feel like I am home.
I'm having a hard time getting behind this relationship considering the girl has a boyfriend she's having a baby with and that boyfriend happens to be his brother. So many ick factors and only one is that she's 17 and he's 27! Of course I doubt mind age gaps but she literally JUST turned 17. Never mind that she's got a good boyfriend who is sadly sequestered away temporarily. It took me a long time to wrap my head around the situation, that's for sure.
All that being said, I really did enjoy the characters and liked hearing about their lives and even liked the story with Carrie and Nico until they both were getting too close to each other.
This book was an emotional roller coaster ride full of ups and down, twists and turns that will have you wondering what will happen next! This story will break your heart only to put it back together again. Walking the Line is a raw, gritty story of unconditional love, brotherhood and family. Janine saved the best story for the finale book in the Satan’s Knights Prospect Trilogy! I loved it and the whole series!
Breathtakingly beautiful and tragic! Debra@Janise’s Jivin’ Book Blog
This book was well written and done in a way that was full of surprises! So many moments that stole my breath away. I literally didn’t know from one page to the next what was going to happen!
Another thing this story shows is you really can’t always predict how you are going to respond or react to someone or what you may end up feeling for them.
Our storyline was a big push on family and how you have each other’s back. It also shows us that you can play the guilt game but it doesn’t make it true.
All our characters do a lot of growing and learning with each other, because of each other and for each other.
This is the 3rd and final novel in this awesome trilogy and this is a tremendous and perfect conclusion. My heart broke for the torment that Nico goes through and the love he has for Carrie and Baby Anna. This is a beautifully written story which is an emotional roller coaster journey throughout, as well as being raw, gritty, heart-breaking, heart-wrenching, and with angst, twists, humor, unconditional love, brotherhood and family. I was totally hooked throughout this riveting tale and hats off to this gifted author for penning such a phenomenal tale. I highly recommend for all.
