Private Investigators Meg and Charlie Schock are back for the third installment of the gripping Schock Sisters mystery series.

Growing up, the Schock sisters lived across the street from a serial killer—at least according to their mother. She’s spent years spying on the man and tracking his every move, but no concrete evidence has ever been found.

When Helen Schock joins a citizens cold case group and uncovers a link between her suspicious neighbor and three murdered women found in Virginia fifteen years ago, she does the one thing Meg and Charlie never expect…she hires them to prove she’s been right all along.

As the three work together to expose the truth and bring justice to the dead, they uncover an unexpected twist to the case…and find themselves hunted by a killer desperate enough to destroy them all.

3rd Tango by Misty Evans and Adrienne Giordano was another stellar suspense in this series.

Charlie and Meg's mother hires Schock Investigations to help her prove that the neighbor that she has been spying on for years is a serial killer. Although Meg and Charlie are reluctant to get involved, they know that it's time to end this "crazy mania" that their mother has about the neighbor. Having the opportunity to get to know their mother in this book provided insight into how Charlie and Meg became the strong, independent and competent women that they are today. Their mother is a powerhouse of strenth and intelligence. A plot that zipped along at breakneck speed, startling revelations and plenty of twists kept me turning the pages until the finale. I hope there will be more in this series.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. All of the above opinions are my own.

For decades, Meg and Charlie's mom has been so sure their neighbor is a serial killer, and now she's determined to finally prove it. And, as much as they humored her over the years, perhaps even rolling their eyes when she got fired up about it, it turns out she just might be right. At least, that's what new evidence is pointing to.

Knowing how smart her daughters are, how tenacious when searching for justice, she hires them, and now they must work together to not only remain safe, but to uncover the truth about what happened to the victims.

One-click now and follow along as this wonderful series delves into another mystery, one that has hovered in the background of Charlie and Meg's lives for many years. On a side note, I can't wait to see what happens in the next book.

3rd Tango by Adrienne Giordano & Misty Evans
Schock Sisters Mystery #3

Meg & Charlie Schock find themselves hired by their mother to solve a case. Their mother is sure that the man across the street is a criminal serial murderer and has been keeping track of this man for decades. The family have been humoring her about the theories but suddenly find themselves researching to see if there is a grain of truth in their mother’s theory. Will they find anything that hints of murder of perhaps finally talk their mother into giving up and moving on?

This book has a mystery to solve, romance between the sisters and their men, a peek into the family life of the sisters and the solving of a few cold cases before the book ends. NOTE: I believe you will enjoy this book more if you have read the previous books first because you will know who the men in the lives of the sisters are and have more of their backstory.

Did I enjoy this book? Yes
Would I read more in the series? Yes

Thank you to the author for the ARC – This is my honest review.

I am loving these mystery books. The two Schock sisters who own the agency are as different as night and day, but are always there for each other. I think because they are different, their skills complement each other. I loved that their mother hired them and also kept “helping” them to solve a case in this book. I think she must have been a great investigative reporter before she quit to have children. Her personality is definitely a type A. It was funny how she got herself in trouble at times and how her daughters were there to help get her out of any trouble. The Schock sister’s other investigator in the company is Matt. I have just loved him throughout these books. He is like a brother and is always there to help in every way he can. I kept trying to figure if the ex FBI agent that was involved with this case because of the Schock sister’s mother was good or bad. The authors did a great job of keeping me guessing. I loved the book and strongly encourage you to read the book. I was given a copy and voluntarily wrote a review.

Charlie and Meg Schock are bringing their boyfriends to lunch with their parents. They are worried that it will be a disaster. The lunch lives up to expectation when their mother hires Schock Investigation to prove her neighbor is a serial killer. The sisters agree to appease their mother but suddenly they find the facts show that the neighbor may be involved in some dirty dealings. I didn't expect that their mother could be right. 3rd Tango is a suspenseful story. The characters pulled me in. I liked them. Charlie and Meg are strong and feisty women. They have different strengths but they work well together. With help from JJ and Jerome, their boyfriends, they are getting answers. I couldn't wait for all the pieces to come together. Unfortunately their mother keeps inserting herself in the case and gives everyone a headache. I hated how she wouldn't listen and puts herself in danger. This plot is complex and has unexpected twists. Misty Evans and Adrienne Giordano have combined mystery, romance and humor. 3rd Tango kept me entertained. I'm a fan of the Schock Sisters.
I received a copy of this book which I voluntarily read and reviewed. My comments are my honest opinion.

From the first book, this series grabbed me and wouldn’t let go. I have read all three in just two days!
The Shock sisters, Meg a forensic sculptor, and Charlie a forensic psychologist/ profiler have started their own PI business. There is a wonderful cast of characters, Matt former cop, now investigator, and JJ a US District Attorney, who just happens to be in love with Charlie.
Each story centers on a different case, and the twists and turns are crazy. It’s always a surprising ending.
They are centered around the DC area, where I lived for many years, so it’s fun to read about local places.
Very enjoyable reading, but I have to say their Mom would drive me crazy!

Another great read

This was my second book by Misty and Adrienne. It says that it is the third one but I don't think that I have read the first one. This was solid and well written and I will definitely be looking for the first one and hopefully a fourth book soon.

The deeper into this series I get, the more I’m captivated by the exceptional writing team of Adrienne Giordano and Misty Evans...and their creation of the Schock sisters Meg and Charlie. Rife with heart, emotion, intelligent dialog and clever repartee woven throughout, the reader is kept ever guessing and on the edge of discovery to the cleverly crafted and unexpected ending.

With the growth of Meg and Charlie’s characters, also comes the inclusion of the secondary characters, in the 3rd Tango it’s the sisters’ mother Helen...the expanding character identities brings more interest to a plot that was ever evolving with the inclusion to the underlining backstory. The creepy factor attached to the neighbor across the street, and Helen’s obsession in her belief of him as a master criminal...brought to fruition both the hilarity and complexity of the sisters’ relationship with their parents.

This ARC book was complimentary, provided by the author. I am voluntarily providing my honest review.

3rd Tango is a strong third addition to the wonderful Schock Sisters series by Misty Evans and Adrienne Giordano. I love almost every book written by this awesome duo both together and individually but this series has a special hold on my heart. Yes, I have a crush on both their guys and Matt has had my heart since the first time I read his story. It is great to see Taylor with her engagement ring as much as it is to see her working with the group. It has to be tough working for the by-the-book FBI and coordinating with the Schock Sisters and Matt!
We have been hearing about their mother obsession with her neighbor and now we get to discover the real story, both a fun and intense experience!

I requested an ARC of 3rd Tango because I can't wait for the book to come out and because I enjoy sharing my love for this series with my friends.

Charlie and Meg Schock are back! And this time they're bringing their mother. ;)

Ms Evans and Ms Giordano have done it again--given us a mystery that I, at least, honestly wasn't 100% how things were going to turn out at the end until...we got to the end. Is their mother right about the neighbor across the street (she's been convinced he's a serial killer since the girls were young)? Are Charlie's suspicions about her mother's co-investigator correct?

Even more importantly--will JJ and Jerome survive lunch with Charlie and Meg's parents? And does Meg have enough pot brownies to see her through it all?

Read 3rd Tango to find out!

(You should also read it because it's a darn good story with fabulous characters that will keep you guessing and turning the pages. Some events from prior series books are alluded to, but you don't have to have read them yet to enjoy this one. Chances are you're going to want to read them after reading this, though--consider yourself warned.)

I am so unhappy with myself that I started reading this book so late in the evening because I was too tired to read it in one sitting. 3rd Tango is just as thrilling and engrossing as the other two books and once I started, I didn’t want to put it down.

Once an investigative reporter, always an investigative reporter. In 3rd Tango, Helen, Meg and Charlie’s mother, hired them to finally put to rest her belief that her neighbor across the street isn’t what he seems to be. Helen, a former investigative journalist, has spent years spying on her neighbor and believes that his odd behavior, surliness along with areas he’s travelled to mark him as a serial killer. Reluctantly, the Shock sisters take on the case and something they believe to be an overactive imagination suddenly turns all too real.

It is easy to see that Charlie inherited her mom’s curiosity and investigative skills, while Meg inherited her impulsiveness. I love how Charlie is methodical and mostly by the book but isn’t afraid to take a necessary detour or two along the way if her instincts tell her to. Meg, however, is not a trained investigator and has no problem pushing the envelope a little too far when things aren’t going the way she wants them to. It’s the opposite behaviors that balance out the sisters and make their partnership work. I was definitely on the edge of my seat when they were doing a nighttime investigation only to be frustrated when Helen shows up without the proper precautions putting them in danger.

Ms. Davis and Ms. Giordano work well together and I know I will never be disappointed with what they write. If you are looking for a good mystery series look no further than the Shock sisters. I look forward to the next book in the series.

I voluntarily read an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review that is my own.

Misty Evans and Adrienne Giordano have delivered another great mystery in the Schock Sisters series! This writing duo delivers just the right amount of mystery, suspense, and action to keep me turning the pages and I just loved the additional romantic elements for both sisters that were woven into the story.

This series is checking off every box I have when it comes to mysteries. The stories are engaging, the characters are real and have an emotional depth that really allows me to connect with them, and the mystery element always has a few surprises and twists and turns that keep me reading at full speed to find out how things are going to turn out. The Schock sisters are such wonderful characters, and I am loving watching them both grow in not just their roles in their investigation business, but as people. I also love how close and tight-knit the Schock family and Meg and Charlie’s work family are and no matter what, how they always have each other’s backs. And the use of humor throughout the book totally works for me!

Although this can easily be read as a standalone, I would recommend starting from the beginning to get a true appreciation for the characters. Charlie and Meg are both strong leads and every character that has been introduced, including their love interests, adds even more depth to both characters.

This is definitely a book and a series to add to your TBR for any lover of mysteries, romantic suspense, or crime stories.

3rd Tango is another great mystery with some cringeworthy interactions with mommy dearest, the Schock sisters and the love of their lives JJ and Jerome. We all at one point in our lives have been embarrassed by our parents or guardians and thought they were crazy, Momma Schock seriously might win the award for this though. Always spying on her neighbor and believing he's a serial killer, she has detailed notes about his movements and finally takes it up with the CSCC, Citizens Solving Cold Cases, and they agree with her. At the first meet our boyfriends family luncheon, Momma Schock brings all the craziness up and will not let it drop until Charlie and Meg agree to help her solve the case.

Officially being hired turns this crazy case into a family affair. Emotions are high, family obligations and loyalties are stretched and the need for the obsessiveness over the neighbor to end one way or another has the sisters searching for every little clue no matter how far from logic it might be.

The story has pain, secrets, and suspense.

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first
1st Shock (Schock Sisters, #1)
2nd Strike (Schock Sisters #2)

Meg and Charlie are back for more investigation and more suspense. This time they are going to take a case that there mother is working on with a citizen’s cold case group. The more the three of them uncover the more danger follows them until they are being hunted by a killer that is willing to take out all three to keep secret safe. Can they solve the case before the killer decides to destroy them all?

I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read. Very emotional story that will have several triggers for some. But all and all it was a great story.

I recommend this book.

This is the 3rd in the series about the two sisters, Meg and Charlie who own their own private investigation company.

This was a fun read as the two sisters help their mother, who has been working on a case for over 20 years. Their mom was an investigator reporter back in her younger days, and after marriage and her two daughters, she gave her work up, but never forgot it..Now for over the years, their mom has been convinced that the next door neighbor is a serial killer!!! Meg and Charlie have always taken this as just something their Mom wanted to fill her life with, but now their Mom has hired them as
she has all the proof she thinks she needs to prove he is a serial killer.

This was really an enjoyable and fun read. I hope there will be another in the series as I love reading about this family!

The third in this mystery series by Adrienne Giordano and Misty Evans is just as great a read as the first two have been. If you haven’t read the other books, you can still enjoy this as a standalone. The sisters, Meg and Charlie Schock run an investigative company. Both are well qualified and this time, it is their mother who is the client. She used to be an investigative reporter, and suspects a neighbor of being a serial killer, so she hires her daughters. As with all these mysteries by this author duo, nothing is quite as simple as it seems. An entertaining ride as always, I enjoy trying to figure out the mystery and this time I only figured out part of it so was still surprised at the end. Fun mystery series

I loved this fast-paced, well written book with unforgettable characters, danger, loyalty, humor, family drama, suspense, plot twists and turns. I was completely captivated from the beginning and couldn't stop reading until I was finished with the book. I love private investigators Meg and Charlie Schock and their dynamic with the other characters especially their mother who hires them because she believes there is a serial killer living across the street. If you enjoy well crafted, can't put down mysteries, don't miss "3rd Tango" by gifted authors Misty Evans and Adrienne Giordano. Another winner! I loved this book and couldn't put it down. The Schock sisters get involved with an investigation after their mother has gotten others involved in her "pet project" of investigating the neighbors because she thinks they're serial killers. While not convinced, before long Meg and Charlie are dive in to the investigation.

I found myself completely engrossed in this book - it has a tightly woven plot and likable characters. In particular, I really love the intelligent and accomplished female characters and how they work together, even while driving each other crazy.

This one is a must read for fans of the genre. The authors are on my must read authors' list.

Oh, oh, oh. This was soooooooo goooooooooood!

The one who hired Schock Sisters this time was no other than their own mother. A strong and intelligent woman, who might not be an easy mother, but a role model nonetheless. No wonder these sisters grew to be strong women as well. Their mother was convinced that their neighbor was a serial killer, and she hired her daughters to prove it. There were twists and turns that I didn’t see it coming. Reading this book was an adventure for me, and I loved every minutes of it. Keep it coming!

I was provided a complimentary copy by the author / publisher, but this in no way influenced my thoughts or opinions.

Love the Schock sisters and their family. Charlie and Meg's mom always seemed a little crazy because she has a fixation on the neighbor. She has believed for years that he is a serial killer. Now she wants to hire Charlie and Meg to investigate him after she enlisted the help of a group who thinks he may be linked to some bodies that were found in another state. They only go along with her because they figure if they can give her some info one way or the other, she will give up her obsession. But, could their mother be right?

Great series!

First read of these authors. I read the whole series of three books. They are fast paced with twists and turns through out. Each book has it's main storyline. The characters are carried through all the books. Love that the main characters are strong women! All the characters are very well developed and believable. The dialogue flows freely and smoothly. The editing is clean with little to no grammatical or spelling errors. I would recommend this series to anyone!

This was a book where the sisters had to engage with their mother in pursuing a criminal she believes lives in her neighborhood. She’s convinced he’s a serial killer and has been compiling a dossier on his activities for many years. At first, the Schock sisters join their mother to appease her but soon find out their mother has a nose for crime. Another mystery that took me by surprise but I enjoyed experiencing the twists and turns they went through to solve the mystery. Sure do hope this isn’t the end that we see of the Schock sisters!

I am still really enjoying the Shock sisters. This series is progressing at a great pace. In 3rd Tango, it really became a family affair. All hands were on deck. I loved how Meg and Charlie took on their mom, their neighbors and still managed to stay sane. The mystery was well crafted as was the reveal. The end was especially great. While this is a series, I’m not sure that this one would have to be read in order. Other than to experience the Shock family from the first moments.

Charlie and Meg grew up with their mother having a career as an investigative reporter. When she grows suspicious about her neighbor, she joins a citizen’s cold case group. Meg and Charlie become concerned about their mother’s obsession and her new group. Reluctantly they agree to take the case when Helen requests their help. There are many interesting secondary characters in this book, all of which are well developed. I really enjoy this series and each book is better than the last!
