This was a beautiful story of family and love for each other. Happiness for their family. Struggle of losing love ones and dealing with the heartache. Hannah schrock tells a wonderful story. A great read.
Your sister loosing her husband and leaving 2 boys and one on the way; changes her future so much. Can she handle all that falls into her life and how will her betrothed rract?
This book is a short but well developed story with good character development. This is a difficult subject write about especially with young children. Hannah Schrock's handled it with compassion.
This was a wonderful, heart wrenching, happy, sad book all rolled into one!! I loved it and the happier ending!! I love Hannah Schrock's books! Please keep up the good work!!😍
What a sweet, sad/happy book. Filled with lots of love and tons of Faith in God. Isaac and Naomi are a beautiful couple that with Faith were able to make a lovely Patchwork Family.
On what a wonderful story. I could not quit reading until I got to the end. It was sad but so full of love! Love, all kinds of Love. Love of God, married love, parental love, love of memories. A very lifting book by a great writer!
I've been so glad to have read this wonderful story. The author has done a great job of putting together her characters in this compelling story of life. The work is a very interesting story of the facts of life.
This was a heartbreaking tale, with the untimely deaths of the parents of 3 young children. It was a story of love overriding loss and a new family being born. It was a reminder that we don’t always know what is going to happen to us, but that God has a plan for each of us. I only gave this book 3 stars because the editing was so poor. The names were all intermixed, and even a name or two that didn’t belong to this story. Maybe it is just me, but I find it very distracting to constantly encounter editing mistakes.
This was a very emotional book. The loss of a father with 2 boys and a baby on the way was devastating. Then the widow had her baby girl and they found she had stage 4 cancer. It was a blessing her sister was helping raise the children. The romance story was good. I enjoyed this book from start to finish.
I loved Isaac and Naomi's story. Didn't care too much about Beth's story, though. I cried for Beth's bad luck. I was very happy how the children's lives finally turned out. This was a wonderfully written heart stopper, that did turn out fine in the end.
I enjoyed reading this bo ok called The Amish Patchwork Family. Reading how Naomi and Beth handled so many sad events together from the loss of Beth's husband, then being told she had stage 4 cancer. To Naomi, finding love with Issac and dealing with her sister's cancer. Along with Issac and Naomi raising her sister's children.
A story with sorrow and joy. Also new beginnings. I enjoyed the read . God never leaves us and never would give his children illness and thankfully we are all his children.
I recommend this book and story. It starts out 2 sisters trying to live without Beth's husband. Beth was pregnant. Naomi was trying to help her sister thru this time of sorry. You must read what happens.
