West Coast Water Dragons #6

Dragon’s Protected

Rate this book
They call me the ultimate protector. I don’t trust anyone, least of all wolves. They’re responsible for the scars on my body, for the darkness in my past. I’ll fight them any day of the week. Until she shows up on my doorstep. I don’t want to fight her. I want to do entirely other things to her. Her touch leaves me utterly electrified. Her fingertips leave me hot and sweaty, wanting all of her. I want to let my heart overrule my head just this once. I don’t care about the consequences. I don’t care that she’s hiding something behind those gray eyes. Because I know one thing for She’s my mate. I’ll fight till the end to keep her safe. And I’ll show her what it means to be protected by a dragon. “West Coast Water Dragons” is a paranormal romance series about a bunch of very hot dragon shifters who live on a peninsula that is abundant in everything but females… Bless the woman who gets lost here. I loved this one, soul mates from different shifter species are so interesting to read about.
This author really knows how to bring these sort of stories to life showing both histories.
So glad Harvey finally found his soulmate being the protector of the group that he is.
It's about time he got to experience that after all he was seeing going on around him and for him to learn to trust in it.
I have loved reading this whole series and if you like dragon shifter stories you will too.

I was given this to read in exchange for this, my honest opinion.

Brilliant last book of the series

I have read the whole series and this the last book doesn’t disappoint its about time Harvey meets his mate even though Lori is a wolf. Lori has been sent by her pack to the where the dragons have been living as a shifter on holiday to get intel of how many dragons are there and where is the best place to attack them as the wolves want to take back what belongs to them according to the legend. After Harvey had told Lori about the past between the wolves and dragons she realises she has been lied to by her family and now wants to be on the dragons side but before she has a chance to tell Harvey he overhears a phone call she has just made to her pack. Harvey just has had his heart shatter when he over heard the phone call Lori was making to her pack he tells her to leave. Lori leaves but vows to help the dragons by sending them intel on when the and where the wolves are attacking her father overhears her conversation and put her in the basement to be dealt with after the fight. Harvey fights with everything he has to protect his home but also his friends they have loved ones and children at home. The fight nearly costs Harvey his life when he wakes up Lori is there waiting for him she had escaped the basement and found her way to Harvey. They have a lot to talk about but they are each other’s soulmates and they will both heal together and become stronger for it.

DRAGON'S PROTECTED is another great love story by Kayla Wolf  I was totally involved with this story and kept turning page after page.  We've previously read about the fight between the water dragons and the wolves that decimated both species. This story centers around that wolf pack still looking for revenge.

The story of Harvey and Lori is full of love, doubt, and betrayal. Lori is a wolf who left home to find freedom from her oppressive pack. After an abusive marriage in LA she's returned back home, but nothing has changed. The pack is planning to attack the water dragons and Lori is ordered to spy for the pack. Harvey is an easy going dragon, except when it comes to the wolves that killed so many of his friends.

This story offers a growing romance, intrigue, suspense, even a shifter war and some steamy scenes.  I highly recommend this new author and her 5 star story.

I am volunteering my honest review for an ARC copy of this book

A continuation of the West Coast water dragons story. Can be read alone.
Again, an awesome story.
A dragon, lonely because all of his buddies have found their soul mates, and a lonely wolf who cannot shift, leads to a story we can all figure out the ending. But, the journey there is wonderful to follow.
A very enjoyable quick read. As always, Kayla has a way with words.
Highly recommended. You can never go wrong with stories from the Wolf sisters.

Dragon’s Protected: A Paranormal Romance (West Coast Water Dragons Book 6)
By Kayla Wolf. 5 Stars *****

Sweet!!! I love it when a story ends in you saying Awww cause you got so involved reading it and liked it so much!!!

Harvey and Lori are two characters readers will enjoy reading about. He's a dragon and she's a wolf but their story is so much more than that.

I found it well worth reading and would recommend it to my friends/family any day.

I have voluntarily read and I'm voluntarily reviewing an Advanced Reader Copy of the book. Reviewer for Nook Books and More Blog.

“.... what a home is meant to be.”

Dragon’s Protected is book six is book two in the series West Coast Water Dragons by author Kayla Wolf. A serious look at lies and betrayal- of taking advantage of those you’re supposed to cherish. Drama, suspense, action and heart rending scenes make this a story worthy of your personal library.
Enjoy!!

Enemies to Lovers

Lori returns from LA to her wolf family after a divorce. The wolfs in her family are not nice. Dragon shifter Harvey is feeling the fact that all his friends have mates. So when he runs into Lori he is not sure what to do since she is a wolf. This a a great story. I loved how Harvey and Lori both grew in this story.

Great Read!

This was a great book! I lived the story line. The only thing I would have changed was for Lori and Harvey to have more time to build a relationship other than a few days.

Fantastic book to complete the series. Harvey is the only dragon left on the peninsula that hasn't found his mate. Knowing how happy his friends are now that they have mated and settled down makes him long to find his special someone. Meanwhile, he has the security of their enclave to think about, don't want to get too complacent. Then he runs into, literally runs into, a woman in the grocery store parking lot and he can't stop thinking about her even though she is obviously a wolf shifter. Since he and the other dragons have battled wolves several times over the years, Harvey instinctively does not trust them. When the same woman turns up to rent a cabin for a week he is not sure whatever to be elated or suspicious.

Lori had just returned to her pack after a disastrous few years away in the city. She is frankly surprised that allowed her to come back, but it is soon obvious that she is expected to resume her duties as pack babysitter. The pack has grown substantially since she had been gone and a new, female, alpha is in control. The older members of the pack are still resentful about the dragons stealing the land on a nearby peninsula from them and forcing them to live in cramped conditions and near poverty. Lori's parents volunteer her to go to the eco-tourism site to spy on the dragons. When she sees the man who ran into her in a parking lot, she is even more determined to do her best to head off the wolves who want to start a war over the property. She just knows this dragon is important to her and she has a week to figure how to keep him.

I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.

Another great water dragon story! I really enjoyed reading Harvey's story! I don't remember Harvey mentioned in the other books but Harvey is a great guy! Love that he thinks of everyone's protector and worried about security. Lori is one mixed up lil wolf! Am glad she gets this chance to prove herself to her pack but on the other hand am relieved she helps to give the dragons a head start. At first I was thinking the ex-husband was gonna show up outta nowhere and be the bad guy but nope the wolves who started the whole mess are jealous that the dragons moved on from that bad guy lifestyle ... not sure if they really want to move onto the peninsula or just want to mess up the dragons life??? It would have been interesting to see Lori and Serena, seeing as she's a wolf also. Maybe not same pack but wolf all the same. I love that everyone is involved and mentioned in the book and am hoping, fingers crossed, there is another book... maybe another joint story with the water dragons and the dragon valley clan???
I received this book as an ARC in exchange for my review.... Enjoy a well written story!

This is the sixth and final book in this wonderful series and finally we get Harvey the last dragon standing book

He has seen all his friends find their mates and while he is happy for them he is also a little jealous but he will do his job and keep their enclave safe for both his friends and their mates Then he literally runs into his mate in the car park of the grocery store but even more concerning she is a wolf shifter. He has issues with wolf shifter and his body bares the scars from his many fights with them Can he see past that fact to claim a future with Lori Meanwhile Lori is sent to spy on the dragons in an attempt for the wolves to get the peninsula back but can she head of a war between her pack and the dragon she knows is her mate.

I'm sad that this may be the end of the series although I am still hopeful there will be a crossover between the water dragons and the mountain valley dragons. Sweet Harvey finally finds his soulmate in this book. Lori is a wolf and Harvey and the other dragons have bad history with the wolves. I enjoyed their tentative attempts at first to get to know one another. They both had baggage from the past to overcome but eventually if you love someone, you need to trust them. Lori had been emotionally beaten down by her ex and by her family. I was so proud of her when she finally stood on her own two feet. Harvey took time to realize what Lori was to him and even when he was mad at her perceived betrayal, he was able to trust her. Love wins out in the end.

It was great for me to go back to the Dragons family, having read all the other books, I was anxious to see how their stories would continue . With Harvey, a security obsess dragon and Lori, a shy low key wolf raised under the thumb of her parents, she is slaving over her young brother and sister, raising them as best she can but she dreams. She can’t but just obey her Alpha and when she meet Harvey all bets are off, he is the One she knows it. He feel the same but they are at war, their journey to be together has its bumps but as usual Kayla deliver you AHE. Can’t wait for other books.

I love harvy glad we got his story.
He's very protective of his family and paranoid about things that might happen bc of what has happened in the past. But Lori comes along and throws him for a loop ( good and bad) she's a wolf and he's not too sure about her. The story was well written just like all the other water dragon stories. I hope that there sorry continues about Lori's siblings and other things. I am an arc reader I am giving my honest opinion and can't wait 4 more from the peninsula.

You know, I really enjoyed this book.
Harvey is the last of the single dragon shifters on the peninsula. He is an inherent protector. With the battle scars to prove it and a bad history with wolves.
He’s sweet and not a player (a very good thing). I liked that there’s some complexity to him. He can change his ideas and things he fought against.

Lori is more than a little bit broken. She’s got baggage and a woof pack she’s not quite a part of. Without giving away too much, their fates and alliances are intertwined.

Shifter battle guaranteed.
Recommend.

He is a dragon and she is a wolf shifter. Their kind have been fighting for a long time. But this is different as she is his mate. I would read the other books first to get the full story. It is a well written story with lots of excitement, twists and turns, danger, intrigue and so much more. It is an enjoyable story that keeps your attention. I received a review copy and voluntarily review it.

Lori is a wolf and Harvey is a Dragon. Dragons and wolves don’t usually get along. They ran into each other at the grocery store and things got interesting. This book has drama, suspense, fighting, and hot, steamy, chemistry. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and gave my honest opinion.
