This is simply an exceptional book. Candid, compelling, and completely the real deal. Not only is it extremely well written, but Marilyn’s story is simply remarkable and a textbook example of a life extremely well lived. This should be required reading for any woman looking at going into ministry or already in it, anyone who is pioneering something new, and anyone who wants to live life well, full, and abundant in the service of their Savior. I am completely blown away by Marilyn Hickey’s life, integrity, transparency, generosity, and fruit that exists all over the world. Truly an example to emulate, Marilyn life is one to follow as she follows the Lord. A true 10 out of 10 autobiography that I cannot recommend more highly! What a joy to read!

I have been aware of Marilyn Hickey since the 1970s, when my mother began following her ministry and sharing her teachings. Several of those teachings were life-changing, and all were life-affirming - in Jesus Christ.

Reading Marilyn's autobiography has added so much context to my understanding of her and her ministry - to me and mine, and to the world. She illuminates many principles about how to serve God 'successfully', how to serve God and, through Him, serve our world with insight and enlightenment.

I highly recommend this book.

It seems that so many of these "bigwigs" in the Church are all the same—they think their lives are so "important" that they need to write an autobiography.

Well, writing an autobiography is about the most narcissistic thing a Christian could possibly do. Jesus warned sternly about the sin of self-promotion—he said you'll lose your heavenly rewards if you trumpet your deeds before men! I certainly wouldn't want to have to answer at the Judgment Seat of Christ for having written an autobiography.

Anyway, I stay far away from conceited ministers, who display the opposite of the humility that Christ and the apostles modeled.

What an inspiring book. The life of Marilyn Hickey is nothing but remarkable and a wonderful testament to the goodness and power of God. Written at the age of 88, she’s still going strong and the Five Strategic Lesson - part of the final chapter - are invaluable gems. Highly recommend this book for those who want to know what it means to be a discipline of Jesus.

A beautiful look at the miraculous life of Marilyn Hickey

I was inspired, uplifted and felt spiritually empowered after reading this book! It is a must-read for anyone who is interested in reading about a woman who beat the odds and received blessing upon blessing for her perseverance and unwavering faith in the purpose that God had for her life.

The book is filled with personal reflections of her childhood, early spiritual walk, marriage, family, and international healing and preaching meetings, including those with the underground church in China and Romania. Marilyn has experienced countless miracles, in herself, her family, and across the world. In each instance she gives the glory to God.

Today, Marilyn is 88 years old and still traveling the globe in her mission to “Cover the earth with God’s Word.”

I highly recommend this book!

I love reading memoirs and (auto)biographies because they are real stories about real people. Marilyn Hickey's book is no exception. She writes about her first adventures while preaching the gospel, her first radio shows and later on her massive healing campaigns in Muslim nations. What an extraordinary woman of faith she is. I am so encouraged!
If you need a faith boost or just plain encouragement because you are a woman preacher or teacher and feel you haven't come to your full potential yet (or worse, you feel rejected or sabotaged) ... read this book!
