It seemed like a good idea at the time… Ever done something that seemed like a bright idea at the time and lived to tell the tale? That's the idea behind Another Fine Mess. Editor Syd McGinley has gathered ten stories from some of Torquere's favorite authors to prove that everyone has bad days, where getting into a mess is far easier than getting out of one. Whether they like to get into trouble or ride to the rescue, the boys of Another Fine Mess will leave you wanting more. Featuring authors Lee Benoit, Cassidy Ryan and Laney Cairo, these stories will make you wonder how the guys will ever get out of the messes they make, and thrill you when they do!

I'm a writer of queer erotica -- mostly m/m and D/s. I live with Beloved Joe and the evil kitten clan.
I fled Thatcher’s England in the late 1980ies, and have lived in the American Midwest since then. Frying pan and fire come to mind. Back in the UK, I ran a record store (ah vinyl!). Since coming to America, I've taught college, edited at a small publishing house, researched and written background reports, and been a professional thank you letter writer.
Dragonwalker by Lee Benoit 5 stars Loved it! What a creative and sweet story about a young guy who can see and control it when dogs transform into dragons. Plus there's a yummy age gap HEA.
Blood Rubies by Angelia Sparrow and Naomi Brooks dnf, no intrest
Hunter’s Kiss by Margaret Leigh Vampires
Finding Trouble by Misa Izanaki 3 stars Very cute. Vampires and body mods. Workplace romance in a paranormal world. Wish I could have read Between A Fox And A Hard Place.
Magenta by Camilla Bruce 3 stars Pretty dark. Red captures Scarlet, drugs him, ties him up, dub-con.
Unfinished Business by Laney Cairo 3 stars Ryan and Jason from Undercover Blues, you can read as a standalone.
The Alpha Bet by Cassidy Ryan 4 stars Really beautifully written story of an established couple playing around with a D/s dynamic. The author does an amazing job getting deep into these characters, and it works 100%.
Unravel by Mychael Black 4 stars Mychael Black always writes good BDSM romances with interesting characters.
A Jolly Good Idea by Syd McGinley 5 stars I love this one, and I've read it several times now. It's Ryan and Hugh from Taste Test: Put Some English on It. Now I'll have to go back and reread the story of how Ryan snags his hunky, dommy coach.
Bruised Knuckles and Bars by Julia Talbot 3 stars Naughty boys will be caught and punished... eventually.
My Story Hunter's Kiss (#3 in the Hunter's Series) is in this Anthology.

1. Thing happened too suddenly and too fast. (Firefighter, Agegap, Magic, Dog turn dragon) 2. Short and Cute. Love Samir. (Pirates) 3. Part three of a series. Was a little lost. Not too bad. (Vampire, Hunter, Psychic) 4. Cliche. The naive/clueless guy, the protector and the situation... (Barman, Patron, Vampire) 5. Hot. No romance. (Thief, D/s) 6. Too much thing happened in this story. Unbelievable thing. (Cop, Crime) 7. Hot. Interesting. (Lovers, BDSM) 8. Hot. (Designer, Light D/s) 9. Part two of a series. Didn't read the first and it seems you need it to understand this one. Too much on the abusive side for my linking. (Aristocrat, D/s relation) 10. Slice of life. Boring. (Lovers)

I was impressed with the quality of stories in this anthology. Only a couple of them would have scored one star from me. Otherwise, I was highly entertained throughout, and even better, it did an awesome job of showcasing a bunch of authors I hadn't had the pleasure of reading yet.
