Wesley knows life isn’t always easy.

Agoraphobia and depression might have taken up most of his teenage years, but Wesley hasn’t let that stop him. It’s just made reaching his goals a little harder. But when everything he’s ever wanted is right in front of him, Wesley has to decide if he’s got the courage to take that final leap.

Tyler knows life doesn’t always go as planned.

When Tyler gets talked into doing a photo shoot with a nervous model who’s never done a traditional shoot, he’s a bit worried he’s gotten in over his head. Just because he’s good with nervous subs and high-strung models doesn’t mean he’s the right person to work with the captivating man with a tragic past…or does it?

When getting the perfect photos leads to mixed signals and misunderstandings, it will take more than just chemistry and lingerie to help them learn to trust each other…and themselves.

I really enjoyed the story of super shy model Wesley and photographer Tyler.

"I think you'll have great chemistry. The pictures are going to come out phenomenally."
His excitement was contagious.
Like some kind of erotic flu.

These men were so good together. Their story was sweet, tender and erotic.
Tyler was amazing the way he helped Wesley grow and thrive in their relationship.
They were truly beautiful together.

Sugary sweet.

Wesley was great initially. I enjoyed how innocent he was and the first quarter of the book.
The rest was ... less enjoyable -- as a personal preference.

After Westley got his Dom, it was like he wanted to be/turned into more of a mannequin than a person. He didn't want to talk, or think. It was less being shy or a full power exchange than just going in his own head the whole time. The part where Preston kind of rolled his eyes after Westley says he's working on communication, because his communication is basically ten times worse, sums up the rest of the book. I found myself frustrated by the end. I normally love Shaw's books, and her sweet, shy, charecters, but this was a miss.

This was the one I was looking forward to. I expected more Bishop given how he was called Wesley's Bishop in the Our love trilogy. After Spencer, this one kinda felt flat. Wesley was the nervous virgin, Tyler was his soothing dom. This one didn't really stand out for me.

Oh – Tyler and Wesley are simply perfect together and the very quick sizzle when they meet builds to a delicious burn that takes some effort to work through and find their way

So sweet yet so worth the cavities.

Oh this was cute. Pretty sure I have cavities now and I don't even care because in true mother Shaw fashion, this book is pretty adorable. It is marshmallo fluff wrapped in fairy floss sittin' on a cloud fluffy. Wesley is your typical awdorkable innocent sub. Tyler is our swoony patient dom. Add in some cute boys in lingerie and some oh so hot smut and child ya home. It was a fun, cute, fast read. Perfect for a cozy night in. So why four stars? Well, to be honest, Wesley kind of annoyed me.

It's a me thing, 100%, but because it genuinely affected my enjoyment of the story I have to say something. I spent 30% of this book trying and failing to understand Wesley. His awkwardness stop being cute after a while and he kind of came off a little judgy at times. I'm not going to go so far as to say there was sl*t shaming because there definitely was none of that but some of what he said and his thought process came off as kind of mean. Specifically towards Eli. Is Eli everyone's cup of tea? No. Is he one of my favorite characters? Yes. So I'll admit, I already had a bias but still. Just cuz something's not your jush doesn't mean you got to act like that.

Innocent virginal subs are a dime a dozen nowadays. And I get it, people love them. They're cute, sweet, and relatable. I mean I can't relate but I acknowledge most people can. Personally I like a little more spice or at least something that makes them stand out and different. Wesley just didn't do it for me. I don't hate him and as the book went on I did start to understand him a lot more. Him learning to communicate alone with a big help. There is some genuine character growth here and again we have Tyler (thank God).

I also want to add that this book has a little more emotion, a little more feels than your average Shaw Montgomery smutty delight. It wasn't like angsty or anyting but she could definitely hold her own in the ring, maybe even go a few rounds. I say this because I tend to go into these books expecting pure fluff and fun and there is that, don't get me wrong, but you're going to feel something too. Which I appreciated because it it definitely helped me soften up towards Wesley.

So yeah. If you like sweet subs and patient Dom's, pick it up. This series is interesting like that. There's a lot of call backs and a main cast/ central theme but the books are very much standalones. Just because you didn't enjoy one doesn't mean you might not enjoy others. There's kink and it's hot (also SSC + RACK) but it was also very sweet so if that is more of your jush have at it girl. Four solid stars because I had fun and as the current queen of awkward who am I to judge.

Wesley suffers from Agoraphobia and depression too much of his teenage years and he is determined to not let it stop him. When everything that he wanted is right in front of him he has to decide if he has the courage to take the final leap. Photographer and Dom Tyler knows that life does not go to plan all of the time. When he is talked into doing a photo shoot with a nervous model who has never done a traditional shoot he is a bit worried he has gotten in over his head as being good with nervous subs and high-strung models doesn't mean that he is the right person to work with the captivating man with the tragic past. When getting the perfect photos leads to mixed signals and misunderstandings, it will take more than just chemistry and lingerie to help them learn to trust each other…and themselves.

I loved this story with the tragic Wesley, the confident Tyler, the photo shoot, the unfortunate miscommunication and the effect that it had on them both. It was great to understand a Dom's perspective on that incident and the fact that they were both very attracted to each other and just needed to communicate and build trust. It was a delight to experience the way that they worked together and the way that their relationship blossomed as a result. Easy to read, feel and understand. Contains MM mature content which is BDSM-like of a D/s nature and men who like wearing lacy panties.

Superb series of books, laugh a lot and gain new friends, the characters are so clear & strongly crafted

The greatest thing about this series is that the original characters stay throughout the series, so you still have them around. Eli is still the same crazy brat, interfering, mouthy and so generous with his care for his created family. Preston & Roman both stoical in the face of a tornado (Eli) but so much more.
Shaw Montgomery has created characters with depth, who have fun and wild times with glorious sexy lingerie for men. I read around 200 books a year and these are the first M/M Romance books that I’ve read more than once. So much joy tumbles out of the early books and then we get to these slightly more subdued characters who need a different touch.

I don’t write a lot of reviews for this genre but this series is too good, it has to be acknowledged, can’t wait for the next one.

I love it when a story makes you not want to adult. I adore every single one of the stories in this series but I think I now have a super special spot for Wesley. The author did an amazing job of showing how Wesley overcomes so many things in his life (I’m not saying what they are) with his determination and passion for what he knows he wants. He needs a firm hand and Tyler is exactly who he needs whether it’s in the form of his boyfriend, partner or Master. Such a joy to read and I love the men in lace and especially getting to see a few of the previous guys. Highly recommend this book, infact the entire series.

It was really hard for me to rate this book because I absolutely loved the first 99%, but I felt like the ending was abrupt. The story feels unfinished and really left me disappointed. Wesley was so sweet and really endearing him. Tyler was the perfect counter to him and I found their relationship beautiful. I am so sad that I left this story with so many questions. Did Wesley ever see all the photos, did he do another photo shoot, did other models ever come come to his house to use as a shoot background? Those were just a few questions I had. I don’t think I’ll be reading any other books in this series.

Loved every page

Shaw Montgomery is a one click author for me. If you love sweet men, low angst and delicious sexy times then you should definitely read Shaw Montgomery's books. This one is perfection. Sweet awkward Wesley who has fought hard to get over his fears meets Tyler, a photographer and Dom. Tyler is just going through life until he meets the beautiful sweet Wesley. I knew this book would be great but it was so much more. Shaw Montgomery gives us power exchange with out cruelty and lots of sexiness.

This is a sweet and sexy romance where the dominant and the submissive manage to save each other from the doubts and insecurities in their heads. I love Wesley and Tyler, and I enjoy their terrific chemistry. Wesley is adorable as he tries to give Tyler what he needs, while Tyler is just trying not to rush Wesley into things too quickly. Their interactions are cute and sometimes funny, but they are always sexy and caring.
This series is terrific, and this is one of my favorite installments. Love it!

Amazing!!!

Wesley was so good that I didn’t want to stop reading. Yes their relationship went fast but that tends to happen with BDSM relationships. Wesley is so strong and brave. Tyler is the perfect Dom for him. He’s patient and calm. I hope we see more of them. Just like all the other books of her’s I read, I wanted the next one right after. This is why I love Shaw Montgomery. Her characters are always so powerful and easy to love.

Better and better!

This series keeps getting better and better! Wesley and Tyler are perfect for each other as boyfriends and sub and dom. It was nice to catch up with Casey and Spencer as well. I love how Shaw Montgomery builds an entire world of characters that intersect and interact with each other in a way that flows naturally. Looking forward to future editions and getting a chance to catch up with Wesley, Tyler, and the rest of the L&L gang

I've loved all the books in this series so far but for some reason this one seemed rushed. The MCs really didn't even get to know each other. From a photo shoot turning to a BDSM scene to a date. Then another scene. Skip a couple weeks to yet another scene and all of a sudden they're confessing their love. I would have just enjoyed a little more of a build up and some time getting to know the charters.

My. Favourite.

This book was different than the rest. For one thing, it actually touch on topics like subdrop, which the other books did not at all. This book showed that even Doms made mistakes and feel uncertain, afraid.

Wesley and Tyler are perfect for each other!

Another thing that this book was different from the rest, is how Eli didn’t appear at all XD He was mentioned but no appearances. It was oddly weird but kind of nice, instead we saw more Casey from the third book!

Doing a photographic shoot with Wesley at his home was going well once he got him into the right head space. Imagination really helps.
Finding out after that he no longer wanted to have another session, was confusing until I found out that he cried in the Shower straight after made the Dom feel awful. What can he do to fix this. Read this book, its a must!

I absolutely loved this sweet, charming, smoking hot, amazing, tender, lovely, beautiful, delightful, kinky, adorable, engaging, and totally awesome story. Wesley and Tyler were perfect for each other, but, of course, the road to a HEA ending was anything but smooth. I would definitely recommend getting this marvelous gem immediately!

Beautiful Story!!

This was one of my faves from this series!! I loved the shy sub and reading about Tyler bring him out of his shell. It was slow and seductive. I was in edge through the whole story. Wesley is sweet and loving and innocent!! I like that even though he's nervous, he trusts Tyler and is able to let go!!

This is definitely a "me not the book" situation. I think I'm getting a little tired of these BDSM books. Lovely, fragile male lingerie model meets heart of gold dom. Great author, good writing, but I've read this all before. In my older years I need more action and adventure to get me interested.

Another great one

This was another great book in this series. I love the control Tyler took with Wesley but I wanted more.
I love first time virgin books and love reading about all their first. There weren't that many in this book but at least they kept it to limited kinks. I hate when authors pile on every imaginable kink known to man.

Wesley and Tyler

So we finally meet Tyler, another photographer for Leashes & Lace. He's the laid back easy going one who does the puppy pics. I'm not sure if I remember meeting Wesley in the previous books, but he is a model for L&L. These two made for a cute couple. Hopefully we will see more of them.

Wesley, suffering from both agaraphobia & depression, is willing to try when asked to do a photo-shoot for L & L. Tyler, a pleasant, kind photographer tries to help a nervous Wesley, who only calms when Tyler uses his Dominant side.
They get through the shoot, but misunderstands don't help - Tyler eventually sorts it out, though :)

A great addition to the series! I love Shaw’s take on kink. This is sweet and sexy. I loved both of the main characters, Wesley and Tyler. Tyler is one of my favorite characters in the series so far. He is so kind and patient and swoon worthy!

Wesley is a total sweetheart, but Tyler steals the show in this one in my opinion. He was so brokenhearted at what happened and it made him a little vulnerable which is always endearing when it comes to Doms.

Some familiar faces make an appearance, but the two leads are brand-new characters. Though still low-angst, this story included more drama than Montgomery usually employs. Between the conflicts and the intriguing characters, the author goes out on this series with a bang for me.

I’m so glad the Wesley gets his chance for a HEA. I felt so bad for him after Tyler finished his photo shoot. I also like how Tyler took responsibility for not checking in. This was a really sweet story with a lot less crazy. I listened to the audio version and enjoyed it very much.

So sweet. Shaw has a wonderful way of portraying BDSM that is more sensual then it is raw. I wish more would follow her example.
