This collection contains all four books in the Next Door Daddiesseries that burn with sexy chiseled abs, daddies, and the women who make them melt!
A billionaire boss, next door neighbor, hot bad boy, and a single mother -- complete with sizzling chemistry -- that will keep you up all night long -- and will leave you breathless!
Book #1: Perfect Chaperone “My new boss is also my accidental husband.”
A week-long girls’-trip before my new job starts. How can I say no? It’s just a week. What could go wrong? Short answer: Everything. Add in a bad boy next-door neighbor I had a crush on as a chaperone, too many shots, and you have chaos. Then come regrets. Accidental marriage. And a ring to prove it, with a piece of paper the next morning. It gets worse. He’s also my boss now. But what will he think when he finds out about our secret baby?
Book #2: Perfect Protector “My new boss is also my next-door neighbor.”
I moved to Hartford as a single mom, looking for a better life. Then comes Harvey. How am I supposed to deal with these new feelings? Honestly? I couldn’t. He was a billionaire and sexy as hell. And he knew it. His tongue was too twisted to ignore. The pleasure couldn’t be denied. Harvey was way out of my league. But all that was going to change. Now I was pregnant and I needed him. How can I say no to the one man that makes me feel safe?
Book #3: Perfect Daddy “My old crush is my protector now.”
It was like a fairy tale, only better because it was real. He came out of nowhere, popping up to help me when I was in need. I couldn’t help falling for him. His handsome smile, kind eyes, and a mouth that promised the world. But it wasn’t meant to last. I had to leave him behind.
He pops up again, seven years later. Same eyes, smile and banging body as before. But now I am on a date, about to be married. He is different now, but we still want each other. I can’t have him, it’s complicated. I can’t keep myself away though, no matter how much I should. Before long, I am falling again, though this time there is consequences.
We are both going to pay for our forbidden love. Maybe with our lives.
Book #4: Perfect Neighbor “My ex is now my next-door neighbour.”
I was ready for a New Year, in a new town. No more mistakes. No more men. And then comes Steven. He pops back up, my next-door neighbor. It’s doomed from the start. Though, he looks damn good nowadays. Rich, successful and charm dripping off of him. I know what is underneath those tailored suits. I have felt the power of his body. I miss it all. I miss him. But it can’t be. Too many things stand in our way, forcing distance between us. Then a secret, that could rip our second chance apart. I’m pregnant and afraid of what he’ll say.
Lauren Wood loves to read and write about irresistible alpha males who are naughty and dirty. If you like bad boys, sexy neighbors, billionaires, and swoon-worthy romance, you've come to the right place. Her alpha males are strong enough to make the hard decisions in life, but sweet enough to melt for his mate.
She is a big time fashionista, loves trying new hair styles, and if she is not writing, you will find her in a gym working on her body to get the attention of her very own bad boy. *-*-*
These books where a decent read. A little bit on the short side for my liking. The grammar errors were atrocious in some parts of the story and time lines didn’t transfer that well between books. They would introduce a character in a previous book then that same character would be completely different in the next book. This came across as very sloppy story telling to me. Also sometimes the author seemed to forget what she was writing in spots. If you introduce a child as a boy and a son numerous times before being born then said child should NOT turn into a girl a paragraph later... But the story line was decent just left more to be desired.
All 4 books in this box set did not meet the mark. First they all had many and I mean many grammar mistakes, and times when the author is constantly repeating herself. Also the plots made no sense, felt like the author was reaching, and only giving very little detail. For example, in some scenes it's starts in one places but then ends in a completely different place. It's like the author just forgot what she wrote on the previous page. Also very little sexy time, and when there was the author presented with very little details to even give these books a chance. I do not recommend these books even for the price.
This is the 1st book, or books as this is a boxset, that I have read from this author. There is a rollercoaster of emotions in these books. Lauren captures your attention immediately and I found myself invested in all of the books, routing for all the couples. Although some if the characters from each book are in the other books, each can be read as a stand alone.
Great concepts poorly executed. Dialogue was stilted and sometimes rushed, alternating from actual dialogue to a description of dialogue which is jarring, and every once in a while there's a word that does not mean what the author thinks it means. Particularly in the first book, the storyline is rushed and makes no sense.
Well! Well!. The men in this box set all have powerful swimmers because all the women get pregnant. It would seem that most of them conceived after their first encounter but I thats all it takes if is the right time. I enjoyed all the stories, they have good plots and they held my interest to the end.
I had hoped this series would be better. I didn’t even read the last one. The story concepts were good but totally disjointed. If you publish a series in a compilation like this and the reader reads them in order and not as standalone, make sure the characters and back stories are consistent from book to book. Needs more editing and polish.
Overall these books were filled with grammatical errors. My OCD wouldn’t let me not finish but these needed work. The plots were too long and some just unnecessary. Just glad to be finished.
First two stories were well written and flowed well. The last two were borderline. I barely kept track of the plots. They were all over the place. All 4 books were HEA but I just couldn’t stand the second two.
If you are looking for a really good fun read this box set is a good one to sink you teeth into. Not every story was for me but the majority are. I laughed, boo, hiss, and it is exactly what I was looking for. Free on Kindle Unlimited
The first two storyline was 5 stars easy but the last two I wasn't really feeling them. I did enjoy the last two but not like the first two. So I just couldn't give the whole series five stars. I will read the next series of course.
This was an excellent box set. The stories were entertaining and captivating. They were sweet. The characters personalities shined through. The ending were beautiful.
I have previously read and reviewed the books in this collection, I enjoyed them, they had interesting storylines, perfect way to binge read. Perfect Chaperone This is the first book in The Next Door Daddies series, it is a second chance/secret baby romance. Casper and Heather were each others first loves but Heather's meddling snobby mother stopped that relationship in it's tracks. Now, several years later, Casper is determined to win the woman who owns his heart. Can this couple overcome a secret marriage, secret baby and a secret billionaire company or will all the secrets become too much? This is a fast-paced story, the storyline is interesting and quick to read. The characters are likable, unfortunately I found Heather's back and forth a bit annoying but I got over that.
Perfect Protector This is the second book in The Next Door Daddies series, Ellie moves back to her parents town with her little daughter after her divorce. Newly divorced and with a new job, her first meeting with her boss Harvey was definitely memorable. They have wonderful chemistry and the banter between them was entertaining. I really liked the characters.
Perfect Daddy This book is part of The Next Door Daddies series, wasn't my favorite story, I didn't connect with either character. There is plenty of drama and emotion in this story, Joseph and Christina met one day in Rome and spent several days together then Christina left him a Dear John letter, now seven years later they randomly reconnect. The chemistry is still there but now there is unexpected complications.
Perfect Neighbor This is an entertaining second chance romance with plenty of drama and intrigue to keep you entertained. The chemistry between Steven and Bonnie is still sizzling after all the years they have been apart and all the drama that has happened during those years.
ARC review for honest review perfect chaperone -This is a beautiful story of Heather who mother who has run her life even when she dated and loved Casper but her mother made her break it off. Now years later he is chaperoning her and her friends to Vegas. Awesome Perfect Protector-Hello and Michael are divorced and they have a child Anna . When she moved to Hartford and gets a job with CEO Harvey of branch enterprise. Awesome story perfect daddy-Christine father is controlling and in crime so when she got away for awhile to Italy she meets Joseph . Now 7 years he still looking for her and finally finds her only to find she in trouble . Very cute story perfect neighbor -Bonnie is divorce now she her kids Jake and Phillip are going back to her home town in Ridgewood, where Steve who has always loved her wants her back. This is really a cute story that I really enjoyed.
This is a very enjoyable box set of contemporary romances. Fun story lines, interesting characters and simmering chemistry are combined with drama, suspense and lots of emotions to create some very entertaining reads. This is my elective, impartial review.
Just read the first 2, sorry but for me timeline and history are everything, this is so messed up, if you introduced a character in one book with a development you keep it, do not change it please. Sorry the first two are 5 star but I couldn't read the third and didn't even star fourth.
