“An Invisible Red Thread Connects Those Who Are Destined To Meet. Regardless Of Time, Place Or Circumstances. The Thread May Stretch Or Tangle But Will Never Break!!!”
Right At The Very Start This Poignant Chinese Quote Grabs The Immediate Attention Of The Reader And Raises The Curiosity Several Notches As To How This Would Serve As A Backdrop To Evolve This Tale.
The Various Directions This Quote Tends To Send The Mind Across Is What Builds The Momentum To This Touching Love Story That Is Rather Simple & Old Fashion But Nothing Prepares The Reader For The Direction In Which The Story Eventually Stands At Crossroads By The Time It Reaches It’s Unexpected Climax That Is Unnerving If Not Absolutely Disturbing.
Sure Indeed, Not All Love Stories Are Destined To Have A 🧚‍♀️tale Ending With The Couple Riding Into The Sunset To Live Happily Ever After But Even Then It Is Disturbing When External Forces Create Havoc In The Lives Of Innocent Folks On The Brink Of Discovering Love Simply Because Of Their Being On The Opposite Sides Of The Invisible Divide.
Full Credit Goes To The Versatile Author Who Can Leave Such A Lasting Impact On Her Readers Packing In So Much Into A Short Read That Is Just 12 Pages Between The Covers.
But Then Anybody Who Has Been A Regular Reader Of #DebeshiGooptu Short Reads On Juggernaut Books Shall Vouch Her Writing Is So Fine-Tuned That Space Is No Constraint For Her To Tell A Fine Tale That Can Stir Up Assorted Emotions Even In Limited Spaces Without Cutting Corners.
The 18 Year Old Adnan Works As A Tailor Learning Professional Skills Of His Trade Under The Strict Supervision Of His Father. Work & Romance Under A Common Roof Is Rarely Advisable But Can Infatuation Also Be So Combustible Is Hard To Imagine.
If This Poignant Tale Could Make The Author Weep Reading Her Own Story Then Imagine The Impact It Is Bound To Have On The Reader Who Doesn’t Know The Turmoil Their Emotions Shall Be Left In Before The Curtain Comes Down On This Quick Read?!!!

A story about young love that failed to bloom due to a cruel twist of fate. An endearing and heartbreaking "almost-love" story. Left me frustrated enough to want to cry. Why must life be so unfair? Why do people kill and maim?
