This is the story of a girl name Mehana. It all started from where she found her diary in 2020, she thinks about her past on the night of her birthday. At 12 her friends Anu, Yashu, and zyra called to wish her. Later she got a call with whom she meets on the next day. He proposes her and then the story starts, she starts telling her past to Abhi.
In her past, she had love on Raghu that is when Facebook was ruling the whole social media. She met him in train and later on Facebook and chatting starts. There are many things happened she left him more than twice and came back to him with more love and confidence. Her friends helped her in her love. But what happened in her past, Will She be able to win back my first love?

The language was simple, there are few grammatical errors.
The story started with high expectations, because of the title. In between the story was weak. End it became strong.
In the first two chapters, I felt the time travel was not that clear, it made me a little confused.
The cover looks well designed with Black and white trees and two people.

You are irreplaceable is about the sweet tale of first love, bitter reality, societal pressure and the journey of the protagonist and how she navigates through life and faces challenges and takes decisions over the course of it all.
There are some really heartwarming poems as well, which I personally loved more than the story. The plot is simple and realistic.
I don't wanna go into much detail about the plot as there's not too much going on in the story anyway. Nothing really happened that would hold my interest.
I only liked the story because it was really relatable. The emotions, the confusion, the dilemma faced by Meghna felt real and relatable.
The writing style is simple and easy to understand. That being said I feel that this book is more for the younger readers. The narration and writing style could have been better.
My rating: ☆☆☆

This book, right from the beginning, reminded me of my school days. Through the journey of Mehna, from being a school girl, to a high- school teenager to a strong women, I felt her learn & grow. There is so much honesty in the way everything is potrayed. I'm sure all of us can relate to this book, be it the dominance of Facebook back then, our silly mistakes, parents anger at us, & so much more.
This, being her debut work, I appreciate the young girl for the way she has written about her experiences in a connecting way. I'd say she has done justice to the children of our generation as I could re-live my school days through her experiences. I laughed at the memories , & felt happy to have had fun while I was in school.
What I felt is she has a long, long way to go, with a touch of editing here & there. More power to her.

This book is a story about Mehana, a sweet and ambitious girl.The story is about her relationship with her first love, Raghu, whom she met on social media.The story begins when Mehana narrates her relationship with Raghu to her friend Abhishek. Well, coming to the book, the story was really simple and interesting. The author has done a wonderful job in narrating the influence of family, friends and love in the life of a teenager girl. The narration style was really good. The writing was simple and lucid.There were so many beautiful poems too and they were written really well. I really liked how the author has described each and every situation in detail. Even though the story was kind of slow paced at certain places, it was still interesting.

I liked the warmth of the storyline
This is a story about a girl having a crush in her school days. She used to be ignored by him. Gradually her life took a turn, her ambitions became high and she wanted to pursue her PhD from a renowned university abroad.
Her mother was worried about her marriage and fixed a boy for her.
She started to recall her childhood love while meeting with him. It somehow felt like whatever happens, some things never change. The love of the protagonist had remained same for her crush since her childhood. Finally she received the acceptance letter from her dream university. Would she lead a life which she had imagined once with that dream boy?
To know the answer you need to grab this sweet romantic book.

I was actually skeptical when I first started off reading this book, but eventually the authore proved me wrong. She wins by using the simplest of language, making it even more quicker to read and understand. The titles, the poems in between, added a magic to the narration.
The lead character Mehana, reminded me of a younger version of me, probably she represents many young teens of these days, especially a typical Chennai girl, who is very innocent and naive. The emotions, the dilemmas, the war between the mind and the heart, everything that a teen girl would go through , is so beautifully portrayed.
A perfect read for the younger generations!

Grammatical Error
The title and the cover page both were appealing to me and the story was simple. So nothing new but What itched me was grammar errors and poor editing. Not recommended to anybody.

Beautiful!
This book is based on one single protagonist, Mehana. Mehana is a beautiful girl with so much energy it can light up the room. She is talented, good hearted and a loving person that deserves the moon and a whole lot of other things.
This book is about how Mehana navigates through life and all the difficult decisions that she has to make over the course of it all.
Her choice in men is predictable to say the least- good natured, humorous and smart. After all don't we all want men like that in our lives. Her dilemma stems from choosing the right partner to spend the rest of her life with and about her future study prospects.
Her mother wants her to marry someone from their own cast just like most parents in real life. She meets a guy online and falls head over heels for him but then they breakup and she is devastated because she thought that he would be the one. Then swoops in her batchmate proposing to marry her.
She is torn in between them all and having to make a decision about the rest of her life has her scared but she doesn't back down and won't settle for anything less than what she deserves. Then come the results of her JRF exams and she has passed them with flying colours and her admission to Stanford University is confirmed.
And as obvious, the studies that she wants to pursue clash with the marriage that she is asked to have. Now she needs to decide between chasing her dreams and marrying the guy of her life.
But what did she do? To find that out you need to read the book because honestly the book is just mind blowing on itself. You definitely have to read it.

The story revolves around the protagonist Meghana who is in a state of confusion regarding her life. She is very lively and intelligent person and kind of average in studies except literature where she is very bright.
The story actually starts with her birthday when she is thinking about her past. The next day Abhi purposes her and the flashback starts when she starts telling him about her past.
Meghana used to love a boy named Raghu. They were in a relationship for five years but everything changes when they seperate. She was completely devastated because she thought he would be the man of her life.
Meanwhile her mother was very much eager for her daughter to get married and fixes a boy for her. What will happen next? Will she marry the boy chosen by her mother or will she listen to her heart? What if something else is waiting for her?Read the book to know better.
The author has beautifully presented Meghana's love story in the book. I could really feel very much connected to the story till the end. I liked the character development a lot. The young author's tremendous effort can be easily felt while reading the book. I found the story to be very realistic as stories like this can be seen in real life everywhere. Meghana is portrayed as an average student, yet bright in literature for which she later earned numerous recognitions, whose mother desperately wanted her to get married whereas Raghu played the role of an extremely mature and an understanding partner to Meghana.
Their story highlights delicate emotions like love, heart break, depression, distrust etc.
Author has gracefully narrated this social media romance which I assume most of us have experienced at some point in our lives.
The story felt quite relatable to me as it is centred on teenage romance which perhaps readers of relative generation can easily get hooked to.
I am amazed to witness the character of Meghana as how well she managed to carry herself through various tribulations by people around her.
However, I found her partly immature and impulsive at times as well. Instance being the occasions where some misunderstandings grew between the couple that aroused bitterness in their relation and shook them for a while to which Meghana took some childlike steps for which she felt remorsefull later.
Will she get married or fly abroad for further studies? Or will she be back with the love of her life?
The climax is surely to leave you astounded.
Overall a nice and a recommended read.

What will happen if you are driven into the online world? An online world that will have people's emotions but not tangible people. And in addition, how will you feel if you find love in that world? Then this book "You are irreplaceable" will show you that kind of world. This book will relate the story of Raghu and Mehana who are friends on Facebook but they have never chat with each other.

However, destiny had other plans and that made them meet. In that meet, Raghu and Mehana didn't involve in much talks. They did not put any effort to know each other but surely that meet changed something between them.

Facebook friends who never talked to each other started having late night chats. They started exchanging each other opinion, happiness, sorrows, and even their hearts.

And all this started to online dating but as people say online dating is valid till you are online. It's doesn't have significance in the real world. Great book
This is a book that can be felt in a deep manner, and in a wonderful way. This is a book that belongs to the romantic genre.
I like how the prologue started, and even how the plot started, with so much of emotions and clear depiction of the story.
I got confused with the name of the protagonist, as in whether it's meghana ot mehana, as Mehana is being mentioned, but she is called as Megha, as well, but that doesn't really play a role.
Mehana was in love with Raghu, for over 5 years, to finally find him moving away from her. The book begins with the year 2020 and moved onto 2014,when she met raghu.
But today, when her mother is forcing her to get married, after her MA, will she really get over her past, or get back with him?
The book is so well written, with a good narration. The characters are nice and not much development is given, but that's not playing a great role in the overall book. The language is simple, and easy to understand. The author have successfully managed to maintain the emotions in a raw manner, and that's one great thing. The book kept me engaged till the end, andthats a nicr plotline, overall. The cover is simple and the title is apt for the plotline. A simple, romantic read.

She is bounded in a relationship that remains unchanged after five years, Meghana falls for Raghu when she was in her high school, the relationship gets stronger despite of many obstacles she faces in her family. But she feels dearth of love when Raghu deliberately ignores her, their love becomes stagnant, but after five years, being unfettered from Raghu, Meghana still has the same feelings for him. She struggles from dilemma. Does Raghu have the same feelings towards Meghana? Will she be able to pursue her higher studies after her post graduation? What happens if her mom pesters her to get married? The queries drag readers with curiousity till the end. This book, though it has few stereotypical lines, will surely captivate romantic genre lovers. Young writer Muthulakshmi Mahesh has written a good light romantic travel read.

You are irreplaceable by Muthulakshmi Mahesh is one of the best novel I recently read. The plot explains the life of mehagna and how she indulge herself in writings, her past and present life. When I was reading the novel She completely drag me to my school days.she had a relationship with Ragu in her high school through social media and they are true to each other ,they have been in a relationship of five years. She starts facing all the obstacles in her life only for him. Suddenly everything turns topsy- turvy Ragu starts ignoring her and they split up but still she have same feeling on him and she was totally filled with dilemma and what to choose in her life .whether to get married or pursue her higher studies.Through her experience she is been so strong. Cant believe that this is her debut work she completely written her experience and make us to learn from it. The language is lucid and she justified the title. The cover page of the book is appealing and the book is a complete treat for romantic genre lovers.

"You Are Irreplaceable" a book by Muthulakshmi Mahesh. This is a book of romantic genre. A book that can be felt in a deep manner, in a wonderful way. A book where the plot starts with a deep dive of emotions clearly depicting the story. Thu story is about a protagonist Meghana, a literature loving girl, who falls in love with Raghu through some social media and had a relationship of five years with him. But then Raghu started ignoring her and the bond broke. Even her mother is forcing her to marry someone from within the community. Will she marry her love? Will she marry a guy of her mother's choice? You have to read the book to get the answers to your questions. Talking about the narration, the book is very well written with a good narration. The language is simple and easy to understand. The book is so engaging that it will keep you glued to your seats experiencing the raw emotion that author has managed to maintain. Thus, it has a nice plotline and the cover and style is complementing it very well.

In this story the author narrates the life of Meghana, a chettinad girl settled in Bangalore. The story begins when Meghana is waiting for her PhD confirming in Stanford University, after her Master's in English Literature her mother is interested in checking alliance's for her (marriage); Abhishek her old friend purposes her but Meghana desires to stay away from Love. Meghana says 'No' to Abhishek and shares the tale of her first love - Raghu.

You are Irreplacable by Muthulakshmi Mahesh revolves around Meghna who is still in love with a guy named Raghu, whom she met online during her school days. All seemed good in the beginning but over time Raghu’s behavior starts changing and becomes more and more distant and indifferent and at last they end up going their separate ways, but unfortunately our poor Meghna still carries the pain of heartbreak to this day, which further dictates her life decisions. As if dealing with this was not enough, her mother constantly pressurizing her to get married and one of her colleague’s proposing her for marriage is just like cherry on top.
Could our poor Meghna be able to get out this and finally discover what her heart really wants?

*The cover of the book can be improved, like changing it to appear more vibrant and energetic as it is a light novel.
*The plot of the book is well constructed.
* The characters are well developed.

This book revolves around Mehana, a sweet and ambitious girl and her relationship she had with her first love, Raghu.
Her old memories are re-ignited one by one when she finds her old diary. We get to know that Mehana is a Chettinad girl who resided in Bangalore. The plot starts off by narrating the moment when she is anticipating for her PHD confirmation at Stanford University.
She loves art and she herself is artistic as well. She writes and reads poems and stories. It surely is an great way of spending time I'd say.
She goes through a stage of self discovery and desperately wants her first love Raghu back. Will she get him back? Read to know about it!
There is quite a lot if imagery used in the book. Her narration is vivid and overall for a debut author it's great! Looking forward to read more from her.

This book revolves around the girl named Mehana. The story of the book starts with the birthday of Mehana where her friends wished on her birthday. Abhishek comes in the story from there Mehana lost in the thoughts of the person she loved so much in life.
Raghu is the first love of the Mehana. How they meet each other. What happened in their life. Why they separated from each other. The story of the books show how much Mehana loved Raghu and what happened in their life. Mehana can't forget from his memories the time she spend with him. Will she be able to meet him again. Will he be her life forever. The end is very romantic and the title justifies everything. Abhishek is just a small character in the life through which Mehana shows the clear picture of Raghu and his importance in her life.
After many years she meet Raghu again. Will he be the same she used to love. To know about it, you have to read this interesting book. Sweet love story where the person can't be replaced whatever the siuation is.

The book is written beautifully and the words flow so easily that it won't even feel like you have read halfway.This book is about how Mehana navigates through life and all the difficult decisions that she has to make over the course of it all.Her choice in men is predictable to say the least- good natured, humorous and smart. After all don't we all want men like that in our lives. Her dilemma stems from choosing the right partner to spend the rest of her life with and about her future study prospects.You are irreplaceable is a light hearted romance of protagonist Meghana and Raghu, love of her life.The book is so well written, with a good narration. The characters are nice and not much development is given, but that's not playing a great role in the overall book. The language is simple, and easy to understand. The author have successfully managed to maintain the emotions in a raw manner, and that's one great thing.

Plot is present day middle class love story of Mehana and Raghu, narration mainly covers everything about and around Mehana.
It starts right from how they met, how love blossomed, how they lived the moments, misunderstanding between them, getting caught by parents, longing for the other etc. all ups and downs, highs and lows of their bond/relationship, over a period from highschool days to post graduate days of Mehana's life.
Plot also involves a lot of friends in supporting roles, academic life and family drama incidents.
Plot flows easily, characterisation is ok very relatable, high on emotions and lucid.
Best part is the climax, just when you think it's all over, ends in a nice way.
Book is for facebook generation youngsters, a nice sweet read.
Words are easy to read and understandable. Over all it was good read. I will recommend this book to all.

This is a story of a girl named Meghna. The story is all about her past and present Life including school life and the present one. The story of her school life drag me down to the memory lane of my own school life. And her relationship with Raghu from the social media made me feel so real and connected. The love from school life turns to a nightmare later on is very well explained. The young author had put all the efforts to make the book feel real and connective to the readers. I really love the story and the plot. M really impressed with the writing style and the descriptive narration. Easy language, proper vocabulary lucid writing and an amazing story. Beautiful cover and apt title. Highly recommended. Must read the book

Cover of book is simple and language of book is lucid. The title of book is apt to storyline. Mehana the pratagonist fall in love with raghav. She's in love with him from five years and on today when her mom started finding a guy fir mehana to get her marry, will she really get over her past or get back with him??? To know that you have to grab this book. While i like the way author narrated the story. And was successful in maintaining raw emotions in book. I appreciate her effort of writing different kinds of poem in between the chapters which is wonderful and i loved your all poems❤ the storyline of book touched my heart

The story was like a time travel machine which took me to the past where as an eager teenager i sit and surf the internet.
As per the story goes it depicts the love story(journey) of a high school kid, where she struggles to take the decision between her father and her boyfriend. And what did she decide at the end? Whether she got back her love?What did she do when one of her classmates proposed her? make this story an interesting read.
It depicts the emotional drama, social pressure,stress in students' community,feel of the first love,joy in going to native precisely.And i personally loved all her poems.
The poems goes well with the story and gives us a complete feel.It helped the author to convey her emotions clearly to the readers.The poems as well as the story is written with simple words and easy to understand which make the plot all the way interesting and a page turner
