I read this book more than 6years ago when I was still in high school. It was the first ever book I had read on aboriginal tracking and by far has been the best I've read. Max Jones, a police inspector during the time the incidents he wrote about occurred, wrote so well on the relationship he had with the trackers he met and their reliability. It was through this book that I came to learn about the aboriginal tracker Jimmy James which lead to a growing fascination with the ability to TRACK.

Thank you Max Jones for such a wonderful book. I had lost my copy of your book not long after I read it, and just today found another copy. Words cannot express how relieved I am to get myself another copy. This book was worth the wait!
