Stories ...They are the building blocks of our lives. They are our memories. They are how we come to know our history. They are our escapism and entertainment. Some fact, some fiction, and some are a clever little mix.
These thirty-one stories are fiction. Short and scary. Delivered to you in small, terrifying bursts, much the way you'd experience each individual room in a haunted-house attraction. They were specifically written to be enjoyed by both the not-too-young and old alike. Inside, you'll find horror, drama, even a few laughs--and zombies. Zombies by the ton. Gnawing, gnashing, stumbling, and staring ... Right. At. You. Waiting ... for a bite-sized offering.

I loved this book, so many great short stories by many great authors. I had read some of the authors other works and now I have other's to get to know better. Many of the stories I would have loved to have been longer but in the short version they grabbed you from the start. Some of the stories were plain horror and others threw in humour also. If you love the zombie genre, this definitely is a book you must read. To all the authors that contributed to this book I give you a big thumbs up and I'm looking forward to reading more of your work.
Bite Sized Offering 9 10 2015 An Epic collection of YA Zombie Stories.
So many great stories in this book. All so original and unique. Not a bad one in the bunch. I love that all these Authors,Editor and Publisher got together to help raise funds for a young girl and her family for ongoing medical cost.If I had to pick my top 6 stories they would be Dare by Michael Robertson, Cut by Jack Wallen, Giant Zombie by Saul Tanpepper,Pinky Promis by S.G.Lee,Big Heroes by Mike Evens and Dying Days Emalee and Mason by Armand Rosamilia. It is so hard to even pick my top 6 faves because all the stories were so well written and entertaining. Pick up your copy and enjoy some very entertaining stories and help a family out as well. It doesn't get any better than this.
A great book full of short stories about the zompoc. All of the tales are extremely well written, have wonderful characters that I really rooted for, and great plots to keep me on the edge of my seat as I read. It's really refreshing to find a book that is suitable for the young zombie lovers among us. The anthology is also for a fantastic cause.
A great zombie anthology full of wonderfully written short stories. It's for a great cause, and I applaud the authors and others associated with this anthology for contributing. My nephew also has Down Syndrome and I love seeing so much care from others. nicely done y'all.
Short stories that have no real ending and since most are Z stories, not surprising. Nor was it a surprise many of the authors are well known in this genre. Some I know and seek out everything that they write. Others are new to me but not for long. These are short stories, thus one reason for the name, BITE SIZED OFFERINGS", all are very well written, giving us but a taste of what the world is, was and will be in their respective universe. And because they are short stores you can breeze through them, wishing they were longer but wanting to continue with the next one because you know it's going to be just as good or better. I do have a hard time choosing just one so I will just say each short was just as good as the one before and the one after. (Possible Spoiler) Apart from the obvious take on the name, I also liked the fact that most of the stories dealt with children, pre teens, tweens and young adults. And this was a surprise since most stories in any Zom Poc deal with adults and what they go through to survive, protect their family and friends or die trying. In these stories we have the most vulnerable segment of our population dealing with the unthinkable but perhaps better equipped because they are not as grounded in 'reality' as are adults and recognize the dangers far sooner. In these shorts, our authors do the young a great service by giving them a voice, showing how ingenious, smart and resilient they can be. The shorts are and ode to the young and while these are Zom Poc shorts and some bloody gore can not be completely eliminated it is not overly done. Kudos to all the authors involved and I wonder and sincerely hope there will be a second "BITE". After all there are still many children out there whose voice and story need to be heard.
This is by far one of the best collections of young adult zombie stories every put together. They range from silly to serious to classic. I couldn't stop reading them. Most of them I think would make great full length books on their own as well. This was put together for a great cause and has turned into a great book.
Book of short stories perfect if you have limited time, and you don't want to get involved with novel. Some of the stories ending leave you wanting more. You're introduced to many different authors and their take on the zombie Apocalypse. I highly recommended this book. I was able to get this on my free trial of kindle unlimited.

Never thought I'd be bored of zombie apocalypse stories, but here I am. Most of the stories are ok, but nothing entertaining enough to keep me engrossed. Too many YA plots, I guess. Lots of silly filler and idiot risks people always seem to needlessly take, putting them and others in danger. Nothing new - same old plots.
This was a compilation of short stories from the world's foremost indie post apoc authors. And it's a fabulous collection indeed. I loved the stories for the most part and would definitely recommend this book for the zombie lover!
Hooray for a diverse collection of Zs! Some amazing authors show their writing range. The fact that it's a charity book and suitable YA reading is simply a further testament to their hearts and skills. This is far from watered down reading ... This is pure talent!
A great book filled with wonderful zombie short stories from so many talented authors. It was a fun-filled read and gave me quite a few names of new authors that I'd like to follow!
Great zombie apocalypse anthology packed of short stories by a team of author's. It was mainly about kid's reactions on how they deal with zombies outbreak mentally and emotional. Some I didn't like and some I love so much I wanted more!!

Pretty great anthology of zombie stories. The stories are scary enough with out being traumatizing. It's hard to write horror for younger teens and kids, but this manages to be enjoyable for kids and adults. Many of these stories are heartbreaking and so well written. There aren't any that were not at least somewhat enjoyable, even if they were weak. I listened to this on audiobook, so the narrators were a mix of good and meh. I love that several of the stories feature neuro-atypical children without being stereotypes or mocking the children.
Dare by Michael Robertson is incredible and left me wanting to know more about the world he created.Pink Nail Polish by Shannon Walters was touching and unexpected. If You Find This by W J Lundy was witty and quite amusing.'Ware Goblins by William Allen is an imaginative and enjoyable story of a family's love. This is a diverse collection of styles and takes on the Zombie apocalypse and is sure to please any fan of zombie lit.
Pretty good selection. Some I wish were Much longer, and an actually stand alone book! Others I just glazed over. For the most part though, there were more good stories than bad. Worth the read (or listen w/Audible).
Great book for a wonderful cause. I didn't know this was a book written to raise money for two special needs children and that everyone donated their stories and time so the proceeds could go to the kids! Great effort because ALL the stories are really good and I was pleasantly surprised to find a few comedic stories stuck in for good measure. GREAT JOB TO EVERYONE INVOLVED!
Didn't care too much about any of the short stories in this book. It was written for a good cause and I have upgraded it from 2 stars to 3. It was written to benefit young special needs kids who like zombie books. So the stories were written for them.. it was a YA zombie book collection.
Never thought the zombie genre could be family friendly, but this does a good job of just that. And I like the anthology format as well. Steamy scale 0 of 5 (Audible)
I know it was written for two kids with Down Syndrome and stuff and I feel like a dick for the low rating but it just wasn’t good to me. There’s over 30 stories and I vaguely enjoyed maybe two. I didn’t love any of them, none of them were memorable or deep or anything good honestly. It was overall incredibly boring and repetitive. I could barely finish it. Even though it had stories from multiple authors, it just felt like a giant blob that ran together.
