Have you ever wondered: if soulmates were meant to be together for eternity, then why do they have to search for each other over and over?

Reaper didn’t think it was possible to be deceived by anything, or anyone, after the hell he had gone through. Ginny had proven him wrong. Not only wasn’t she the woman he believed her to be, but she had also sacrificed herself to pay for his crimes. The only part of finding out who Ginny was that didn’t surprise him was that she was a thief. He already knew that—she had been stealing bits and pieces of his soul since he’d met her. And not only had Ginny wrecked the peace he had promised himself, but she also turned his life in a tailspin as he fought to keep her safe from an enemy from her past.

Ginny didn’t think it was possible to love Gavin more than she already did. He proved her wrong. The only problem was … who was going to protect her from Reaper? Every part of her being loved Gavin, yet it was Reaper who was turning her life in a tailspin. Determined to claim her soul while refusing to relinquish his, Ginny found herself engaged in a battle of wills that she was willing to fight to win until death.
The battle between soulmates is never a pretty thing. In battles, there are always winners and losers. Ginny and Reaper are going to have to decide if the price of winning the battle is worth the cost or lose the ultimate prize—eternity.

Well done! I really thought for a minutes there, that the epilogues would have been like Rider's. Bittersweet. I could not have stand knowing Gavin's death after him 'being dead' for most of the earlier books. I do find later down you should give us one more book with Gavin and Ginny's story like book 6: Shade. Just about Gavin and Ginny's life through marriage. No more drama about Allerton. Also I find this book could have given a little more Taylor's scene and there was no father-son interraction with Ton and Gavin. Please give us one more book of Gavin showing the interraction between more of the members. There was no Rachel, Jo, Ember, Stori etc. mention anywhere in the book. I did noticed Freddy and Keira are 7 years apart. But it would be nice to hear more about Freddy. If he looks more like Gavin or Ginny. And please if you do decide to give us a book later down the line, don't let the epilogue show when Gavin dies. I can't take that! Besides some grammar errors I enjoyed this book. Would have really like to know how Shade got Ginny to touch Gavin's dick tho.

Not bad, but not great.

I was hoping for so much more. I’ve enjoyed every book in this series and couldn’t wait to read this, but honestly I was really disappointed.
There were spelling mistakes and poorly written sentences all throughout the book. Some chapters just felt repetitive, and often times boring. The dangers the characters faced were resolved far too easily and it all just seemed rushed and poorly thought out. If it wasn’t for how invested I have been in this whole series I wouldn’t have continued to read it. As it was I had to force myself to focus and not keep drifting away from the book. That being said it’s not a terrible book. It’s just not at the usual standard I would expect from JB and honestly, with it being the end of Gavins trilogy and the final book of the original members I was hoping for so much more!

First a NOTE to the Author don't use the excuse of raising your prices because the book was 460 pages so you charged 6.99 when for Shades book that was over 700 pages and you only charged 5.99 and 85% of that book was retelling of previous books. I just BELIEVE unfortunately since you're becoming more popular you are just raising your prices to make more. That's unfortunate. Not everyone will be able to afford the inflated prices. I "own" every book you published and just wanted to state my opinion.

Best of the 3 Gavin Sories in my opinion. Ginny is a very unique person and love Gavin so deeply after all they are soul mates. Brought tears to my eyes when she sang Hero.

We got a to see all the Last Riders in action as well as find out about Jewel. I just hope the since the original 8 are out of the way there's still more stories. Coleman brothers, Jewel, Moon and the new characters.

***4.5 Stars***

It should come as no surprise, when it comes down to my favorite Motorcycle Club romance author, that title goes to Jamie Begley! And if I had any doubt about it before, Reaper’s Salvation wiped that doubt clear from my mind. This Trilogy had everything I’ve been looking for in a romance. It was just as beautiful as it was dark and just as raw as it was beautiful. There won’t be another couple like Ginny and Gavin, that’s for damned sure.

I’ve decided to keep this review as spoiler free as I possibly can. It must be said Reaper’s Salvation is NOT a standalone and must be read in Road To Salvation reading order (Gavin’s Song, Reaper’s Wrath, Reaper’s Salvation).

Reaper’s Salvation is the third and final book in the Road To Salvation trilogy by Jamie Begley. Throughout this roller coaster that is Gavin and Ginny’s relationship I’ve experienced my fair share of emotional whiplash and if you’ve read the first two books in the trilogy I imagine its safe to assume you feel the same way. Gavin’s soul has been put through the test, he’s crawled his way out of his own personal hell and when he’s found his ground it seems to always get knocked out from underneath him.

It should come as no surprise when I started Reaper’s Salvation, I started it on the edge of my seat. I went into this book with a watchful eye, I was bound and determined to get ahead of the plot and save my heart from being brutally crushed…. I fooled myself… there was no getting in front of this story line and there was no predicting the outcome. It has to be said, I thought Gavin was the tough as nails character, it didn’t take me very long to uncover the truth behind Ginny being the strength to this novel. Ginny was the one to help Gavin/Reaper out of the dark and into the light. I don’t think I could have imagined a more perfect ending for two people who were always destined to be together. You can’t fight fate and you can’t fight what has always been written in the stars.

Before reading this trilogy, Shade was my favorite and I never thought another character of Jamie Begley’s would ever take Shade’s number one spot. Well those facts have slightly changed. I’ve come to the conclusion I can’t pick which is my favorite. These two bad boy/alpha hotties are even stevens!! There is no denying I love a tortured hero that finds his way out of the rubble and comes out on top when it’s all said and done.

I spent two days reading Gavin and Ginny's story, and when it was all said and done, It felt bittersweet. I was sad to see their story come to an end but now I’m even more excited about all the potential coming for future Jamie Begley reads!!!! I’m feeling a second generation series in the midst! FINGER’S CROSSED!!!!

This is going to be quick because I don’t have anything of substance to add. This was a skim read to finish out the series, I just wanted to see how Gavin’s story ended. IMO it was drawn out WAY TOO much and could’ve been condensed into 2 books with 100’s of fewer pages.

I thought there would be more angst with Taylor coming back. Her character in this series never really matched with the woman Train described in his book that was so distraught that she tried to kill herself. Here they made her sound like a bitch that just wanted attention. 🤷‍♀️ Regardless, she sort of just lurked around waiting in the periphery until later in the book and was over quite quickly.

My thoughts…
-Too long
-I loved Gavin
- I really loved his bromance with Greer and Silas
-I thought Ginny was quite immature
- I thought it was hilarious she went to Shade to ask advice on how to get intimate with Gavin
-I thought Jewell loved Rider and now she loves Reaper
-I thought it was incredibly cruel (and I dislike her) for Ginny to ask Jewell to watch her and Gavin’s kid.

I have read every book in this series and not even Lilly came close to grabbing my heart and tearing out as Gavin did! OMG can a dude get a break. He finally starts to heal only to be torn back open again with Genni leaving to get herself killed. Please release the last book soon and put us out of our misery. You are growing fast as one of my favorite authors and I thank you for the many hours of enjoyment.

"Road to Salvation" Trilogy Rating: 4.25 stars
Reaper's Salvation Book Rating: 3.75 stars

Note: I'm writing the same review for all three books in this trilogy, because it's not a trilogy in the sense that most romance ones are, it's basically one extremely long book about the same couple. You should NOT read the 2nd book without reading the 1st, or the 3rd without the 1st and 2nd—these are cliffhanger books.

Book One: Gavin's Song (4 stars)
Life wasn’t fair. It was like a river that was just there—no rhyme or reason. It didn’t have feelings, didn’t care that every living thing needed it to survive, yet it would share its wealth or be as stingy as a miser. It could turn on you indiscriminately, creating havoc at a moment’s notice, destroying lives and everything in its raging path.
Gavin's Song kicks off this terrific trilogy and is definitely the hardest book to read emotionally. This book essentially leads up to the romance between Ginny and Gavin, and they only really meet for the first time at the very end of it. The book alternates between each of them, showing us different important points and periods of their lives.

Gavin is kidnapped and spends 10 years being emotionally, sexually, psychologically, and physically tortured and that period is not skimmed over, so it definitely earns a trigger warning. It was incredibly difficult for me to read parts of it, because it was so graphic and so horrible. But—of course—what Gavin goes through very much affects and shapes the person he is "now," so it didn't feel at all gratuitous to me, it's essential to understanding his motivations, problems, and thinking afterwards.

Ginny goes through her own difficulties, though if you've read some of the other books in The Last Riders series (I recommend all of them!), you're familiar with her and already know some of them. There's a big surprise about her origins though that come out here, and we find out that Ginny has in fact been in hiding almost all of her life because of something that happened when she was 3 years old. My disclosing this is not at all a spoiler (though the details about what would be, so I won't write any more about it).

Both Gavin and Ginny are such wonderful characters who have survived tremendous challenges and you really feel so much for them and are rooting for them so hard by the end of this book. At first, I was dismayed that basically none of their romance would exist in this book, but I quickly dismissed that while reading it and think it was very well done. We are so invested in them and their relationship in Books 2 and 3 because of all that we know about them from this book.

And as always, half the fun and joy (seriously) is The Last Riders themselves and seeing all the guys and their partners again; the friendship and true brotherhood among these characters is so wonderful and contributes to making it my favorite MC series. Not a bad book among them.

Book Two: Reaper's Wrath (4.5 stars)
“We may be going in opposite directions, but we could both end up in the same place. I can wait for you to get there.”
Reaper's Wrath is my favorite in the series, probably because it's the most focused, has the most complete arc of their romance, and if it weren't for Ginny's subplot the story could be wrapped up with this one (practically). Both Gavin and Ginny have their own "mystery subplots" and this one centers around Gavin's: revenge for his kidnapping and torture (hence the title) and him really coming to terms with what happened (though this very much continues on into Book 3 as well).

This picks up right when and where Book One dropped off and charts essentially their first meeting, up until they truly begin their relationship. Practically all her life, Ginny has been convinced that she has a soulmate out there and for a long time, she thought that something had happened to him, because she couldn't "feel" him anymore, so she thought he was dead and she would never meet him (this was during the period of Gavin's kidnapping). The minute she meets Gavin, she knows it's him, and he also has essentially the same reaction, though of course doesn't believe in all this soulmate crap, doesn't think himself a fit partner for anyone, etc., so is very resistant to all of Ginny's overtures. And lord are there many, lol.

Ginny is fucking hysterical in this book and I have to give the girl props. She's a pretty self-contained person—she's had to be in her life—and the way she puts herself out there for Gavin and the bravery she shows is just plain fantastic and mind-blowing. I fucking loved it. She is SO strident and certain in her conviction that he is her soulmate and is SO open about it, which of course freaks him the fuck out (as it would any guy, but Gavin especially so).

Book Three: Reaper's Salvation (3.75 stars)
“My love doesn't have time limits. It's everlasting.”
Ginny could see the toxic train of thoughts that held him.
“Nothing lasts forever.”
“My love will.”
Unfortunately, this was my least favorite in the series for a couple reasons (though you'll note I still gave it a good rating): Ginny's "mystery subplot" was a little weak and unbelievable, the story dragged at times and could have been wrapped up far sooner, and most disappointing of all, Ginny was annoying and immature at times. Up until this book, she had earned herself a spot on my Favorite Romance Heroines shelf, but I'm now torn and don't think she'll make it. She had a bit of the TSTL to her at various points in the book, and because I had loved her so much up until then, it was all the more frustrating. I won't go further into my first two reasons, since that would involve spoilers.

As I said, this centers around what happened when Ginny was three years old and why she's been hidden away since then. Part of the mystery is literally what did happen, because she herself doesn't remember some key points, which is part of the challenge.

This book also involves a lot of relationship development between Ginny and Gavin. As much emotional damage as these characters have and as many problems as they have to overcome, their love is 100% believable at the end because Begley really does show them overcoming all the main issues and being able to finally and fully come together as soulmates. And since they are "together" for all of this book, you really get to bask in the romance between them.

Bottom Line
This was a terrific trilogy and if the last book had been a bit different, I would truly be raving about it. As I said at the beginning, this is basically one long book—don't try skipping ahead, it will make no sense and you will be cheating yourself. Begley has her own order to read all of her books, because there's a lot of overlap between them all, since they all exist in the same book universe, but that involves almost 30 books (with these three being the last ones). I would recommend that you read The Last Riders books first, but it is not necessary. They are fantastic though, so it's not a chore by any means. Note that I would categorize most of that series as Romantica, while the Ginny-Gavin trilogy is strictly CR. Finally, be aware that her books have a bunch of annoying typos—like, a truly uncommonly high number—but fuck is she a good storyteller.

A good wrap-up to Gavin & Ginny's story!

*****SPOILERS*****

Secrets, slumber parties, green-eyed monsters, explosions, waterfalls, boys' nights out, magic, ten carat diamonds... This book was jam-packed with ALL the things & absolutely ALL the feels. It gave me instant shivers, a fictional heart attack, tomato-red cheeks, crybaby-that's-not-fair tears, & insider giggles... All while putting hearts in my eyes & leaving me begging for more!

Gavin & Ginny's love was a force to be reckoned with & easily, the most meant-to-be, emotional journey out of all The Last Rider couples.

Gavin... Oh, you Stubborn A** aka Wild Man, you. Your possessiveness of Ginny, your friendships with both Greer & Silas, the way you asked those closest to Ginny for their permission to marry her, the fact that you gave Taylor the tiniest amount of your attention as possible... Those are just some of the reasons why I'm so crazy for you. I truly wish your confession of love to Ginny would've happened earlier on in your story but I get it. And I'm over it. You + Ginny = The Truest of Loves.

Ginny... Oh, you little Nymph, you. I loved how strong you were once again. You repeatedly faced physical & emotional abuse, rejection, & loneliness. Through it all, you persevered & flexed your lady balls of steel. You are a rockstar. Kinda literally. Your patience, your love, & your faith did not go unnoticed. You asking Shade for advice was fan-frickin'-tastic but damn, I felt robbed of not being able to 'see' you do it! #ReleaseThatDeletedScene I do wish you would've outwardly acknowledged your bun in the oven earlier but I'll roll with it since everyone pretty much acknowledged it for you.

Special shout-outs to Silas, the Biker Bitches & of course, Greer for once again giving readers some of the best scenes in the series. Loved them to pieces! They are seriously some of the best supporting characters EVER. Treepoint wouldn't be the same without them!

And that damn elephant in the room... the I-don't-buy-it, wtf secret that the current Queen Bee club girl has been harboring for years. *insert a million eye-roll emojis here* Same sh*t, different book. She just wants the Original D like all the rest. Saying she'd "steal Gavin in a heartbeat if it was possible"... As Ludacris would say, "Move b*tch get out the way" because I am so over you & your insincerity.

What was missing:
*A Taylor takedown- She kinda felt like an afterthought. With the build-up in the last book & then no appearance by her until the very end... *sigh* Call me #disappointed because Ginny & the Biker Bitches earned the right to give her a memorable beatdown. (Think Fat Louise ripping Demie's earring out, Killyama beating Sissy with a broom, Crazy Bitch whaling on that cop with a bat, etc.)
*Appearances from some of my favorite characters- No Rachel (not talking about Shade's stepmom), no Jo, no Mag, no Grace... Man, my heart hurt not to get any scenes with them in it. Heck, Ton didn't even make an appearance & he's Gavin's dad.
*Editing- I know there were extensive circumstances involving the author's final edit but there were still numerous grammatical errors, missing words & character name misspellings that were very distracting. More rounds with multiple beta readers & solid editing would be awesome.

Fingers crossed we get some sort wrap-up, mutha-of-a-book devoted to the OG couples because I NEED MORE about them. (The ones who didn't get two books.) This did NOT feel like an end to the saga, so I'm optimistic that my wish will be granted & love/extended HEAs will be spread to them too! :) After that... please, please, PLEASE let it be The Next Generation's turn! I can smell the delicious angst of their storylines from here!! #NoahAndEma #JohnAndAisha #CruxAndKeira #BrickAndViolet #ChanceAndStar #RosalieAndBrink

Side Note since my review took so long to post: So, I hear that Desmond's book is up next. Hmm... Sounds like a 'King & Evie' storyline coming up, & I'm not gonna hate on that. (Even if I'm not a fan of who I think the leading lady might be.) Here's hoping us Ice & Grace fans will finally get our rainbow baby moment since they'll be in Queen City!

Firstly, I am a HUGE HUGE fan of JB and have read every book through all the inter connecting series multiple times.

First 64% not impressed

Reads like an episode of The A team along with all the corny, cheesy and cringe worthy dialogue. So over the top and weird, the whole flying to the island thing just is bizarre. And then all the LR are there to the rescue? Seriously too prosaic.

Wheres the TYPICAL LR angst and sexy times? Its just downright boring!

And dont get me on about the number of spelling, grammatical or just plain words missing errors. Honestly for an author of this calibre its just sloppy and lazy.

Let's hope the remaining book is better.

100% finished

Ok so it got more like a LR book for the last part with some funny moments from the adorable Greer.

However, wow what a huge let down the whole reason ginny n trudy had to disappear! Frankly it was pretty pathetic. Like really poor. The whole justification was just so underwhelming.

The whole religion thing didnt bother me so much. What with the special gifts silas, greer et all all had, the supernatural element has always been part of this series.

I still think reaper didn't live up to his name, as I said in the first book he came across as a spoilt little boy and I couldnt understand how gavin got the name reaper.

I thought the two epilogues were going to be epic but like this book they were meh, disappointing.

As for the whole Taylor issue and how it was eventually dealt with? Terrible!

Again 2nd half of the book riddled with spelling, grammatical or missing word errors, so much so I had to re read sentences multiple times to get their correct meaning.

I don't know who edited the book but JB needs to sack them as this is the worst by far and they were so numerous.

Overall this book was a massive let down in every sense. The plot was either over the top or too corny for words. Gavin and ginnys characters were all over the place. And their sexy times were limited and extremely tame/boring.

The only redeeming features were the other characters, the LR, biker bitches, vip room, predators, colemans and the porter brothers earning this book 2 stars.

Note, re the warning at the foreword there were no instances of sexual assault in the book at all. Which spoilt the story cos I was wondering who was going to be raped or assaulted throughout.

Ps get it on ku that way you won't feel like you've wasted your money!!

Outstanding issues/ questions

Where did ginnys mum find the brooch?

Why did her mum return to ginnys house?

Who blew up ginnys house?

Jewell- thought it was weird n bizarre to have jewel look after their son at their 3rd wedding esp as it was painful to her. Cruel.

Also still keeping with jewel, who is her lost mate? Given the only new people at the 3rd wedding was Desmond then is it him? Jewell knew all the others there. Please don't tell me she's suddenly going to realise its moon!

Got all 3 books on audible, so much better like seriously better and this book goes from 2 to 4 stars. It just makes sense more listening to it.

Still a huge disappointment but then can yoy beat trains book??? Seriouslt the best book of the series esp re gavin.

But yeah try it on audible, its different again

A really sweet, though sometimes frustrating, conclusion to Gavin and Ginny’s story. I’m upping this from 3 stars to 4. I seriously think the audio helped me feel everything.

The first half of the book we spend dealing with Ginny’s past and the reason she had to fake her death and change her name. Even though they’re together, they’re not together together… and that’s all because of Gavin and his stubbornness.

“Oh … Gavin, just so you know, and you can’t say this is coming out of the blue … my love for you will never be shaken. However, you can only shake a tree so long before it stops giving fruit.”

The second half of the book we spend with Ginny denying they’re a couple until Gavin does things right and asks Lucky to make them official.

“Mine is engraved in gold … right here. You don’t even have to lock it inside; it will always be there for you. Only for you. It will never tarnish or go cold, even when we’re no longer on this Earth. My love for you isn’t fool’s gold; it’s real and true and will never end…… There’s only one Gavin James. There was only one key made for my heart.”

The marriage certificate isn’t the only thing Ginny’s denying – that bump growing in her middle ain’t from cheeseburgers. Even though Gavin wants her to acknowledge what’s happening, he’s still withholding a part of himself from Ginny.

“You still believe you returned to The Last Riders as a prodigal son. You didn’t. You came home a gladiator. I can tell you don’t believe me, and that’s fine. Just know one freakin’ thing in that hard head of yours. You … will … never … ever … fight … alone again, and you can take that to the freaking bank.”

Before Gavin can get his act together, more crap from the past comes back to blow up their lives.

“I spent nine and a half years in what I considered hell. It took me one hour thinking I lost you forever to find out what true hell was. Every minute, every second I spent in that hole was worth it to have you. I would do it over a hundred times over if that’s what I have to do to deserve you. God didn’t punish me by making me suffer through the years; every single thing was preparing me to love you, and I will cherish you for the rest of my life.”

When Gavin faces a life without Ginny, he finally takes the right path straight to her door. These two get a beautiful HEA.

“This isn’t the miracle God has given me. He gave me one the day you were born, a second when you told me you loved me, a third when my son was created, and today … when He carried me home.”

Overall, I loved it this time around. Yay to second reads.

Oh - I'll note that there were a ton of typos, which is pretty typical for JB books. I was also really disappointed in the fact Gavin didn't kick Moon's ass over the bike incident. Finally, the crap with Jewel being in love with Gavin was stupid and unnecessary, but even worse was that Ginny asked her to babysit their kid knowing how badly it hurt Jewel.

Anyway - if you're a Last Rider fan, then you'll probably enjoy this.

There are so many grammatical errors/ spelling/ repetitive sentences/ punctuation errors. This book is a complete mess, was it even edited by anyone, it looks as though it hasn’t been done.
The book initially started out decently, then about halfway through, it appears as though the author threw in lots of words that weren’t necessary were added to drag out the story.
I just don’t know what to say. There are better books written by 12yr olds on Wattpad and they are free, but for an author who is charging people for a book, I JUST DON’T UNDERSTAND.

I was almost going to buy the the actual paper books of this trilogy in this series… but then… Honestly, this had turned boring with talks of: politics, war crimes, bs charities, billionaire world domination, and virus stuff 😮‍💨🙄😒😕 I give A LOT OF LEEWAY, BUT this was too much annoyance!! Yes, I really did take away x2 ⭐️⭐️ because of that!!
OTHERWISE, I was invested in Ginny & Gavin’s Story, and I do enjoy the miracles, love, hardheadedness, drama🩵 and all the sweetness of that big hearted Freddy💝

Killyama: “Who in the f*ck hit my B¡tch!” 🤘
These BadA** B¡tchs are insane & I Love Them!! During yet another shoot out with very, very, very bad men -SexPiston crawls back out to reach for the pizza box that was laying on the driveway before slipping back under the garage door. 🤣🤪🤣🍕🍕
Poor Ginny, thought her thought was inside her head -Gavin was as adventuresome in bed as Mr. Rogers. -but then- Sex Piston asked “B¡tch, did you just compare Reaper to Mr. Rogers?” 😂🙃💀🥱🙃
I’d love to see Lucky’s cocksure grin!!😈
CrazyB¡tch is cracking me up in this one, especially when she was offering to share Calder with Ginny if she’d share Reaper as alllll the females were insanely drooling over his clothing choice…😈🤤😮😛😈 +💙💙💙

I really do HATE the “Brah” the past few books, it’s completely idiotic 🙄 please go back to using “Brother” 🙏
My heart broke for poor Silas 💔 what he revealed during boys night
The leash on the toy bunny was GENIUS 😂🤣🩶

I have long said that Jamie Begley is a better storyteller than writer. I know of her issues--a stroke compromising her language skills--and admire her for persevering. I also know she has at least two editors, both of which do her a disservice. Her books always have typos, misused or missing words, bad punctuation, etc. I'm used to that and read around it for the story.

This book was highly anticipated and, unfortunately, somewhat of a disappointment for me. I knew at least part of it would be away from Treepoint and The Last Riders, but I was glad to see many of the familiar characters and their involvement in Ginny's and Gavin's lives. Some of the other things just didn't work for me.

SPOILERS

1. Jewell was in love with Gavin? Had been since before he'd been kidnapped? Before he ever hooked up with Taylor? NOTHING about the way Jewell acted before made me believe that. In fact, she was all over Rider and supposedly in love with him in his book--which was AFTER Gavin was found. This absolutely didn't work the way it was written. It COULD have been possible with more foreshadowing and if it had been allowed to play out somewhat. The author uses multiple, omniscient viewpoints, so it could have been done.

2. Lucky's refusal to give Gavin his blessing to marry Ginny. I disliked the way it was handled immensely. He didn't act like a pastor at all. Yes, I get it that he was trying to get Gavin to reach the conclusions about his past and acknowledging his feelings for Ginny, but--c'mon! They all KNEW what Gavin had been through, how hard it would be to overcome that to create a truly intimate relationship, and Lucky did NOTHING to help Gavin heal. He basically left him on his own to figure it out himself. Shame on Lucky.

3. Ginny's refusal to acknowledge her pregnancy. That was just childish and stupid. It was a game that reduced her in my eyes.

4. That Ginny went to Shade to talk about sex and it wasn't part of the book. That was a HUGE disappointment, because Shade is a fan favorite and it would have been a really fun scene. I missed it a lot.

What did work? The play of the brothers off each other. They're all great, and their conversations were hilarious at times. That Gavin went to so many people to ask for Ginny's hand in marriage. That Gavin had certain sexual hang-ups. The whole Allerton storyline, if a little drawn out, explained a lot, and we'd waited a long time to understand. Seeing TLR in action with Reaper/Gavin, saving Ginny. Taylor getting put in her place--although I wouldn't have minded seeing Sex Piston and the rest take her on.

As a fan of the series, I'm glad I read it. It won't be one I reread often, however.

Incredibly disappointed. There are things about this that I definitely enjoyed, but I miss the heart of what used to be the core of this series. It felt like an incredibly complicated plot was created and in many ways it was completely unnecessary and very much over the top. At the end of all this - the reasons for Ginny having gone into hiding - it just doesn't work for me or make sense and just feels very contrived. As though the author wanted a reason to create a trilogy and drag things out. I came here- to Jamie Begley's books - for the biker romance, and this has really moved so far from that.

I think had this not been built up so much - when initially announced the three books were to be released very close together, but instead they released MONTHS apart. This last one was to have released months ago, got pushed back and then just before it was to release, was pushed back again because the editor had an emergency come up.

My thing is - this had an editor? I don't want to be rude or disrespectful - but this needed a proofreader. There are missing words ALL OVER THE PLACE. You read a sentence and there is word missing, or two words that should be in a reverse order and this is not just once or twice in this book.

I'm also angry about the price. This book is $6.99 while all the others are in Kindle Unlimited. I find that incredibly frustrating, given the mistakes in this book. If there were beta readers, or ARC readers they would have caught a lot of these errors! If you are going to charge a premium, then spend the money to have someone proofread!

I was also a little frustrated with all the religious mentions in this book. I got it with Lucky, or Lily's character, but here it was just annoying and felt very unnecessary. There were definitely places where I could see a glimmer of the earlier Last Rider books - like with Razer, Viper, Train or Cash - but these glimpses were few and far between.

3 Stars

I been waiting for so long for this book to come out and the outcome wasn't what i expected.

I enjoyed the previous 2 books of this trilogy but this one just felt flat, a bit repetitive, couldn't really get into it and it took me 3 days to read it on and off.

I loved Ginny and Gavin as a couple but the end of this trilogy wasn't as good as many of JB's books. It was very tame and boring. I didn't felt the same connection between the couple or that sizzling chemistry. The sex scenes were very rare and nothing too exciting either.

We finally have the end of Gavin and Ginny's story.
While waiting I reread the entire series and related books in the order indicated by the author.
I confess that I was a little disappointed, because my expectation was huge.

1)I expected more trouble/drama and scenes with Taylor.
Why she was in the clubhouse?
I would like to see Sex Piston beating the shit out of her. I love it when it happens.
2)I sincerely hope that the new lady doctor who interacted with Ginny will be someone's love interest in the future.
I wouldn't want one of the club whore aka members of the club to be Ginny's brothers' love interest. They deserve someone special.
3)I suspected from the beginning of Ginny's paternity, because her mother was very intimate with the villain and it seemed to me that they had something going on.
4)Maybe Jewell's love interest will be the guy who took King's place... imperfect people finding redemption in love, who knows! I don't care.
5)I think that Ginny's attitude in denying the pregnancy was really childish. The scene with Willa was punctual. A little crazy.
6)I was touched in the scenes where she thinks she is expendable and would not be missed, when in fact many people took chances to make her live and took care of her safety all the time.
7)The scenes with the club members helping in the rescue were great!
8)Ginny seeking advice from Shade was hilarious, especially since Gavin has a rivalry with him.
9)I was bored by those scenes of the two in the cabin fucking madly while the villain kept them waiting. Nothing happened and I was already pissed.

Overall it was a good read and it already leaves us missing the original members of the series. Kudos to the author who hooked the reader since the first book and left us addicted to the series.

The Best

I have to say as much as I adore The Last Riders series by Jamie Begley Gavins trilogy are by far my absolute favorite. I'm so sad that I finished the books I tried to slow down but I found myself wanting to know more and more as I turned each page .

I don't want to give away any spoilers so I'm just going to say that again Jamie Begley has surpassed my expectations in regards to this series and her writing considering the health challenges she has faced . I will always look back on these books with much love and I will always recommend these books to any MC lover . I don't know who's book will be next , I just know that I will continue to one click any Jamie Begley book she wishes to release she is amungst a handful that I automatically one click without ever reading a blurb . She has a way of drawing out emotions while reading her books and makes you think about certain aspects and situations that everyday people in real life can sometimes find themselves in . Her stories can be heartbreaking and yet comforting and always with a happy ending . I encourage anyone and everyone to give this series the justice it deserves and read about these amazing characters and the women who bring them to their knees . And as frustrating as what the men of the Last Riders series can be and let me tell you there have been times when I've wanted to reach through the book and throat punch them all for being so stupid . I only wish I could go back and read them all again for the very first time each and every time I read them . This book deserves more then five stars it deserves every star in Ginny's sky .

To many editing issue's to count. Not sure how this book got so many 5***. Guess more a fan of author than what they read. I've loved JB's books since the beginning but seeing a downward trend.Ginny was annoying. I know the author had some personal issues and I hope she's doing better. I can't believe she comes up with a virus for the story, we are living this don't need to read about it in the books. What a bad ending to a great series.

I really wanted to love this book because I adore this author and this series. I fell in love with MC books because of the Last Riders. Rider is one of my all time favorite hero’s and I was so excited to read about his best friend Gavin and to finally solve the mystery surrounding Ginny. I’m just so underwhelmed, disappointed, and actually kinda annoyed. The steam factor was sadly missing. While I knew this would happen, to a degree, because Gavin needed to recover from his decade long captivity, it was just meh. I don’t like Ginny at all. She’s one of those Mary Sue characters that’s so over the top good, sweet, blah blah blah. I got a damn toothache reading about her “sweet man” and how she’d love him forever, and all that mattered was his happiness. Then she’d do something idiotic that was supposed to show how she was willing to sacrifice herself for everyone else, but especially Gavin. She needed to stop being a self martyr for everyone and anyone. I don’t even want to get into the religious overtones of this book. I didn’t find that interesting or appealing at all. I got why God was needed in Beth, Lily, and Willa’s books. It was just boring in this book. Back to Ginny, how immature and stupid do you have to be to keep denying that you’re pregnant just to prove to your man that you aren’t married the way you want. Okay, I found it humorous in the start of that segment that she was being sassy - and then it became ridiculous. I was so bored by Ginny’s antics and all of the “sweet/wild man” talk, God theories, etc. etc. that I barely paid attention when it was finally their real wedding. That’s never a good sign for a story.
I am very, very rarely the grammar police. I cannot believe that this book had an editor - or at least one that was paid. There were a lot of mistakes. Like I said, I don’t really care that much - till I have to back up and re read whatever was said because I couldn’t understand due to grammar issues. I started counting in the last half of the book and it was well over 50. That’s a big problem.
The only reason this book got three stars is because parts were hilarious and I loved seeing the last Riders all together and interacting. The epilogues were glorious and left me wanting more and actually softened me up for this review.

What can I say? Really, honestly, what can I say that hasn't already been said?!
"Reaper's Salvation" is Jamie Begley's absolute MASTERPIECE. I'm speechless. On Facebook Jamie Begley said, that this book is like 2 books in one and I know EXACTLY what she means. I sooooo LOVED the length if the book I enjoyed every single letter but still couldn't get enough.

"Reaper's Salvation" is the third book about Gavin and Ginny and concludes their journey to their HEA. The book starts off where the second one "Reaper's Wrath" ended. Ginny left Treepoint to go back to Clindale Island to meet the person who wants to kill her. Gavin/Reaper follows her to the airport manages to be able to accompany her and thus their story continues from here on out.
The first half of the book takes place on Clindale. Gavin and the Last Riders are trying to find a way to free Ginny from her past and protect her from Allerton.
The second part takes place back in Treepoint and focuses on Ginny's and Gavin's relationship development. The title of the entire trilogy really lives up to its name "Reaper's Road to Salvation". Gavin is still - understandably - tormented by what was done to him and struggles with his feelings toward Ginny. He fells like he's not deserving of Ginny's love because of what he's been throught and what he was made to do. Gavin's journey to his salvation is heartbreaking and beautiful at the same time.

Once again Jamie Begley manages to confirm why she is - by far - my favorite author. I've read hundreds and hundreds of books in my life, different types of genres, different types of characters and stories. Fiction, non-fiction, you name it.
Why I love Jamie Begley's books so much is because she has a beautiful talent to highlight people's dignity and worth. With her stories she shows that no matter what tragedy you may go through/experience, absolutely NOTHING and NOBODY has the power to take away your worth and dignity.
In her beautiful writing skill Jamie highlights that exactly BECAUSE you went through tragedy that is precisely why you especially deserve everything that is good in life.

Now, while she has shown that in all her previous books Gavin's story is a whole new level. I cried and cried in his first book (Gavin's Song), I felt his pain and his suffering. In his second book (Reaper's Wrath) I felt his anger and his need for revenge. And lastly in Reaper's Salvation I felt his struggles and FINALLY his happiness.
With Jamie's characters and stories you do not only read them, finish the books and put them aside and go on with your life. Jamie is giving her readers a lesson after the other to be good people. To treat others well and to support one another. She makes you want to help others who are suffering and to emphasize to them that they are worthy and have never lost their dignity.
Thank you Jamie Begley!
